We really never seem to do this, which I think kinda stinks. It's a basic element that can be added to any storyline and work, IMO. Idk, maybe it's the sleep depravation talking but I think it's worth looking into the way Revolts, RATCs and ppvs are booked, in terms of cities and venues they are booked in. I mean, I know the location of that week's show means fuck-all to 99% of the people here but it's something that crosses my mind a lot. What the worldwide touring schedule would be, what type of venues are booked for what type of show, those sort of things. PS - would anyone else like to make a topic in this forum or is the drawing board just going to be a place for my random thoughts?

This weeks ReVolt was booked in Seattle for a specific reason. Not necessarily a reason but it has meaning to something that will be on the show. |

That'll be hard for Erik as Silent Hill is a fictional city in Maine. Then again, that is his billed hometown; his real hometown is Lewiston. I should probably make that distinction in his profile. And maybe when we're in Lewiston, we're temporarily in Silent Hill?

A lot of wrestlers are from towns that don't host events for various reasons (usually too small) but the closest town (and even the very state) tends to get them big hometown reactions. I would like to have a calendar with upcoming events and their locations a good month or more in advance. It would feel more legit that way. But I understand if that's a pain in the ass. |

Yeah I tried setting up dates in the beginning. I think I had a good run of it up until around last summer when things started getting hectic. I thought it definitely gave a bit of legitimacy to the whole place. I actually had set up the tour going into Rise of a Legend beforehand but I just never had the time to post it up on the board. I know I was definitely looking at Jim to handle coordinating the venues, he had asked me about it during the ROAL tour so I was going to give him the job but yeah...then I stepped down :ph43r: LOL |

When I did this shit I would get the locations/venues for the next ppv period settled immediately after the last ppv ended. Information wasn't public, but it's really not a pain to do. That said I think for some foreign people we could take it a step further and have it just be their home country. Krychek, for instance, would be over big in Russia and in certain parts of your mother's house. |
