We fade in, as is usual with these things they refer to as 'RPs,' though there's not much fade in given there's not too much light to fill the screens as it struggles to get rid of the blackness on the screen. Through the darkness, we can see Grant Rice sitting, on what you might ask? If you were to look hard, you would realize that he is sitting on table that our three Revolt Announcers normally call home. Indeed, he is sitting on the announce table situated on the stage, the stage lights aren't on, might explain the darkness we find ourselves looking through. There is however a hint of light coming from somewhere, where? Seems to be coming from behind the camera, maybe the ring lights are on for some reason. Either way, the minimal light creates a rather dramatic effect on Grant's face, the shadows created are almost scary. Grant Rice: Here he is people, your former FIW Tag Team Champion of the World. Grant pauses for a moment, possibly taking that moment to shed a tear within. Grant Rice: That's right, Momoko & Blond managed to pry the titles away from The Revolution, they're methods while questionable, were affective. Grant's attention is drawn when we hear a noise sounding much like Metal on Concrete, again, much like the light, this sound rises from off camera. Grant Rice: You know, I lied last week. I lied when I guaranteed that The Revolution wouldn't have an off night. As you can clearly see by the fact that I sit here without Tag Team Gold, I simply lied. "Mo' Blond" got the better of us, and much like I said, there method may be questionable but all that matters is that 'W' in the record books. I of all people shouldn't be one to complain about how a match went down, for it was I... and Nightmare... who lived up to our first lose as a team, even when it came under a unsanctioned match. I won't complain about how we lost in either match, I simply live up to that lose. All there is, is to come back next time, better. We can hear a slight chuckle coming from Grant, wonder what he finds funny, losing? I wouldn't think so. Grant Rice: Only one problem, instead of Management offer us a return match, and chance to make wrong right, we are both thrown into one clusterfuck of a match. Fifteen people, one winner. Great odds I'd say. Grant leans forward on the announce table, in doing so, several of the shadows once covering his face simply dissapear. Grant Rice: I refuse to lie this week. I won't guarantee a single thing. I will not sit here and tell you that I'm going to win, because with a match like this, even the best can get tossed out at a moments notice. Claiming victory would be a foolish statement. All you can do in a match like this is go out there and lay your heart out in that ring. Not too much trouble for me as I do it night in, and night out. He returns to his upright position, shadows once again engulfing his face. Grant Rice: I guess I could run through the list and name off why I'm better then Bob, why Joe doesn't deserve to win, or ask the question of Who Is John... but I won't. You have all asked those questions for yourself, likely coming to your own conclusions, and for that, I shall spare you. My opponents this week and break each other down all the desire, they can trash my name if they so choose. I simply see no need. It's not about saying why you should win, or eve saying that you win. All that matters at the end of the day is that you do win. Almost on que, the lights once giving us a minute amount of seeing ability cut off, plunging us into pitch black. Grant Rice: Seems it's time to go, hope I can make it out of hear without tripping over something and hurting myself before such a big match. We wait for a few moments, but not a sound, not a sight. I guess this promo ended, was hard to tell since the screen was already black... alwell. |
