Velvet doors swing open and in step both Stan Stevens and Crackerjack, practically dragged in. He might as well be on some leash, it's that obvious he doesn't want to spend any time in a place like this. A place so dark that, well to use an old standard, it just takes a lot of getting used to. That's good enough for a light description, right? It especially takes both Crackerjack and Stevens to get used to the darkness seeing as how it's 1:15pm and the sun is out bright and here they stand, in the middle of a strip club. And even though it's a weekday afternoon, the place is still somewhat jumping. Though 95% of the customers are a roaming biker gang ready for a fight against anyone who looks at them funny. Crackerjack stands in the doorway, though the door behind him is closed. Stan, who has taken a few steps forward, turns around and sees that his new friend has yet to even take a step forward. Stan shakes his head and heads back to comfort his "trainee".

Stan: Don't worry, these girls who work the afternoon are just here to test their skills as dancers. No nudity involved during the daytime at this place. They save stuff like that to the night scene.

Stan grabs a hold of Crackerjacks arm and begins to pull him in. Soon, when Stan turns around he bumps into a rather large man. No bigger than Crackerjack, but still larger than Stan. He stands with a healthy grin on his face, but his eyes show an even darker intention when he notices Stan standing before his massive stature. The man, obviously the bouncer, stands with arms folded across his red shirted chest. A single earing in his right ear just begs for people to call him on it. Anything for this man to throw a punch.

Bouncer: Well, well, well. Lookit what we have here. Thought you'd never show your face here after that shit you tried to pull last time.

The bouncer gets a response from Stan in the form of a smile as he releases Crackerjack motioning for him to "calm down" with his hand. Almost as if he thinks Crackerjack'll come to his aid should anything happen. Yea, not bloody likely.

Stan: Okay, so maybe you guys had to get a new pool table and the jukebox...well, let's just say it ain't rainin' men no mor--

Bouncer: Shut up!

The bouncer interrupts with such ferocity that he loses his smile and is now grabbing a hold of Stan's shirt by the collar. The bouncer pulls Stan slightly off his feet so they're within eye level of each other. By now Stan can feel his feet slowly lift off the ground. Obviously not the first time he's felt that during his many visits here and especially involving this particular bouncer.

Bouncer: Two girls quite because of you and we had a hard time gettin' even the clean girls to stay.

Stan looks away after the bouncer has finished. Stan looks for a quick escape, but finds none so instead he just dangles his feet a little as he raises both hands to try and now calm the bouncer from doing something harsh...mainly to his face.

Stan: Look, I-I can pay. I just need a little more time so, if you put me down, we--

The bouncer gives Stan a sudden shake silencing him long enough to be pulled forward again. The bouncer continues to glare, his bald head almost showing the reflection of Stan as he cowers in fear of what might become of him.

Bouncer: Don't spread your filth with me. You can talk your debt payments out with the boss. He's been rather looking forward to this.

And with that, the bouncer turns around still holding onto Stan by the scruff of his shirt. Being pulled away, Stan looks back towards Crackerjack and calls out.

Stan: Mingle! You won't regret it!

Once Stan is finally pulled far enough away, Crackerjack lets out a small sigh and decides to wait just long enough for Stan to clear whatever problem he's in away. So, Crackerjack starts to walk around. Everything in this place is too dark to tell just what it is. It looks like the kind of place that cuts cost during the day by not having on as many lights as they would during the night shows. And this is the kind of place that could surely use more light. There isn't a single window in the joint, and all doors are light sealed. This is obviously he kind of place some low life would wish to go to to escape the world outside fully. And at the same time watch some young girl take her clothes off for money. As he wanders, Crackerjack comes across a few bikers in mid drink. Most of them glance over at Crackerjack just waiting for him to make a move. But he doesn't, he knows he needs to save himself for the weekend. He knows how tough of an opponent Wakari can be, otherwise she wouldn't be a champion and the one to defeat Onikage. Thus is why Crackerjack just counts the seconds until he can get out of here. But instead, he walks around the place reluctantly as a blue haired dancer performs on the stage, much like what Stan mentioned earlier, fully clothed. She performs a few moves that gives away the fact that she is still just a beginner in the world of dance. The woman, a young girl who looks to have come over from some part of Asia, dances in a school girl costume most likely worn just a few hours ago in her college. Soon, Crackerjack realizes that he is no longer walking around and is instead standing there watching the girl. Suddenly, Crackerjack begins to think about Nell and wonders how she's doing. Then it happens, Crackerjack begins to see Nell performing on the stage. Soon, he begins to believe in the illusion and is about to do something about joining in completely when a knife comes into contact on the risen dance floor. Crackerjack shakes out of the illusionary world his desire has created and watches as the girl flinches just the same. The knife belongs to that of a biker who has obviously had more than his fair share of booze.

Biker: Bitch...*urp* I came here to drink and watch tits. I did my share of my plan, now...let's see what you got under there.

The girl, obviously hesitant to perform such a task, looks more frightened as more bikers come in to join their friend on the "request". Most of them yell out agreeing with what the man said while others just yell out at the girl to show them this and that. The girl remains hesitant as she plants a hand across her chest, her eyes now beginning to water up as this was not what she had in mind when she first walked out onto the stage. Crackerjack wonders just what the security is going to do about it, but realizes that the only bouncer is preoccupied with making sure Stan doesn't make a run for it. Therefore, Crackerjack knows that it comes down to him to save the girl. Such a change, had this've been months earlier, Crackerjack would've just turned and walked away letting the girl live with her own problems. But now he's ready to fight for her sake. The biker now who started the whole ordeal, reaches out towards the girl. It doesn't get very far as an ashtray that has been flung smacks his wrist. The biker quickly holds on his wrist as his hand quivers in the fingers. Soon, all eyes are towards the corner where a tall and lanky man exits the shadows. His face is calm, and his muscles relaxed, hard to believe such a fierce throw was delivered by him. His red hair sticks out and falls just a few inches before his expressionless face. His voice calm, and yet somewhat cold. This man is void of all emotion, so why step up to help the girl?

Curtis: You should respect the ones who entertain you. You never know when they might decide to stop.

The biker still clenches his wrist until his fingers stop quivering, though because the shot was dead on it takes a little while. Soon though, the man throws his arm down beside him and becomes unaware of the girl who just runs off the platform to the back where she can find peace. Crackerjack stands there astonished, though somehow mixed into this group quite closely he doesn't make any move to leave.

Biker: Who the fuck are you?

Curtis smiles. Though his smile sends more shivers down spines than anything else. With a little laugh, Curtis flicks his hair back with his hand and keeps it up. The hair however, just falls back down.

Curtis: I'm just a guy who was being entertained.

Another biker in the background suddenly gets up the nerves to shout out atop his lungs.

Biker2: Well now you're gonna be a dead man!

Curtis continues to smile as he motions for them to approach him. They all do, but even though they outnumber him nothing seems to keep Curtis from moving. Wiggling around like some water worm outdoor plaything, Curtis watches each blow come at him and dodges every one of them. Crackerjack stands in astonishment watching him defend. But then he realizes that soon Curtis will have no room to backstep as he comes closer to the wall. Then it comes to him, this man has already planned that. There's just one thing he waits for...an opening. Curtis sees it and charges forward delivering an uppercut to the smartmouth biker just below the ribs. Moves like this seem to continue as Curtis continues to dance around the bikers. Every so often, one or two of them fall from strikes hardly even noticed. This all went on until it was just Curtis and the first biker standing. That's when the man noticed that he was the only one left standing. The biker, fearing that the end might be near for him, looks around for an escape route when Curtis suddenly looks down at something. It's the first time Crackerjack notices that Curtis' feet are tethered together by a foot and a half length of red rope.

Biker2: Got 'im!

The first biker huffs a laugh as he pulls the knife out of the stage and slowly approaches Curtis thinking that this will be an easy strike. But what the biker doesn't realize, is that Curtis isn't one to go down just because someone is practically holding his feet to the floor. Curtis stops his sudden elbow shot just shy of the bikers neck. Now the biker leans back a little, a bead of sweat dripping down his forehead. Before him, just down the arm, is a shaded face.

Curtis: Leave now. Before he comes.

Biker: Uh...

That's all the biker can say. He doesn't know who or what Curtis is talking about, but decides to take the advice and turn to run away. The biker on the floor watches him go before releasing the rope. He too rises to his feet and manages to get out of there. As for the rest, they just lay there for a while as Crackerjack steps over them. Curtis notices the approaching giant and suddenly goes into a defensive stance ready to strike. Crackerjack just stands there beside the stage a few feet away from Curtis.

Curtis: I don't know who you are, but you'd better leave too. I've a strong spirit, but an even stronger one resides and seems quite interested in you. So I propose you turn and leave...now. This isn't the kind of man you'd want to meet.

Curtis continues to stand there ready to knock Crackerjack back should he not take the advice. Eventually, Crackerjack sees a small shudder from Curtis and decides not to tempt anything he isn't sure about. Besides, a fight now could do anything to him and he's got too big of an opportunity to just waste his energy. Therefore, he turns and begins to walk away. As he leaves, Stan catches up with him and throws his arm around him as they exit the club.

Stan: Told ya.
