We fade in, Grant Rice hopping in front of the camera, likely getting his legs warmed for his match. Grant almost invisible as the lighting isn't particularly bright, mixing that with his all black outfit and you could easily lose him in the darkness aided by the black curtains surrounding him. If I was to take a stab, I'd say he must be in the Gorilla area of the area. Grant Rice: You know... I simply just don't care at this point. Kitten can dance out of his words all he likes. Fact still remains that he brought Nightmare's family into the mix when it was uncalled for. Saying your going to kick a man's daughter in the face is tasteless, no matter if their fifteen, twenty or thirty-five. When you have a problem with someone, you take it up with them, you don't go making all kinds of claims regarding his family. Simply put. Grant putting a little more punctuation on his words as he becomes motionless, just staring into the camera. Grant Rice: But like I said, I don't care anymore. Kitten can talk, I know he won't make good on any of his claims, whether it be kicking Christina in the face when she becomes of age, or making any kind of notion regarding Night's prior injuries. The only thing I care about at this moment is that this week when the fans were given a chance to voice their opinion, to make their wishes known in who they'd like to see in the main event, they rang The Revolution's bell. That's all there is to it. I plan to make the best of this, it never matters to me who I'm staring at across from me in the ring, it could be Xtreme Kitten, Ethan Adams or Stone Cold Steve Austin, I don't back down. I make good of every second, every breath I take after the bell has rung is made as I claw with every fingernail toward victory. Grant holds up his hand, all four fingers and the lone thumb visible, showing his fingernails, the same ones he figuratively uses to claw his way to victory. Grant Rice: I get shit done in the ring, whether it be a nice little match against another fan favorite as we try to send the fans home with a memory of magic, or if I'm left there staring at someone I despise and I inch toward victory with each and every chairshot I deliver, with every dent that's made in the chair. I do everything to win a match, whether it's picking apart your ankle in a very strategic match, or cracking some skulls in a low down and dirty hardcore match. A bottle of water suddenly appears on screen, in the hand of Grant, before his dumps a good portion of it on his head. Water dripping from his hair, his chin, from everywhere really. Grant Rice: No matter how this match turns out, whether it's a clean match fought in a respectable way, or if someone wants to get dirty, I'm putting everything into this victory. I've heard the whispers since day one, the ones asking "Does Grant Rice really have what it takes to cut it in the FIW." I'm done hearing it, it's time to shut some of the critics up and what better way then in a Main Event match featuring not only the current Dual Crown champion, but also other former singles champions. A smirk develops on Grant's face. Grant Rice: Don't forget about me Kitten, I'll still have an eye on you... but for now, all I have to say is "Let's shut the fuck up an wrestle..." The camera pans down to a spare ring bell sitting on the table nearby, the hand of Grant reaching down and picking the hammer up and ringing the bell. The camera pans back up to Grant's face as the sound of the bell slowly fades out. Grant simply takes a nice, deep breath as water still drips off, the beads of water catching rays of light and almost glowing for the camera as they fall to the floor. Grant says nothing, he simply walks off after his breath. Possibly his first breath toward victory? |
