When we open, we see two pairs of boots, one, shiny and black, the other, brown and dirt-worn, walking side-by-side-by-side-by-side down the cold concrete hallway of the Staples Center. The camera travels up and sees that one pair of boots belong to Grant Rice, who is walking alongside the owner of the other pair of boots, a decidedly angry-faced Nightmare who is quite obviously not happy at all about being forced to submit AGAIN to that pesky Tanaka Zaibatsu.

Nightmare: "I don't get it. Both of those Zaibatsu guys are half my weight and...I'm pretty sure a third of my height, Grant. I oughta' be in there, imposing my will, throwing those jokers around like a couple of really annoying dolls...I'm plenty strong enough. I'm plenty good enough of a wrestler and plenty experienced to take these kids to school and back every given fucking week, but time and again they seem to squeeze out a win, whether they're cheating, they get us from behind...or what seems the most logical, which is sheer dumb luck. They also seem to always wind up beating me to take that feat."

Grant Rice: "Maybe they're simply better then you...."

Nightmare looks a little miffed his partner would say such a thing, but Grant, seeing the look on his face smirks a little bit, and continues his sentence.

Grant Rice: "...Is something I might say if I believed for one moment that it was the truth, that it isn't simply because they've caught us on an off night or two. My question is, why are you here right now, beating yourself up over this? So what, we lost, stop worrying about why we lost. We need to focus on how we're going to win the next time."

Nightmare looks straight down the hallway, his forest-green eyes showing straight-up exhaustion, but he glances back at Grant Rice, knowing that his partner's right. Nightmare's voice echoes down the near-empty hallway as he continues.

Nightmare: "Yeah, I guess so...I don't really mean to dwell on it, man, I mean, I know we can beat the Zaibatsu, I know we can take our gold back. And I also know that we have a chance to do that, I have a chance to redeem myself for the times we lost, if we can beat the Team With No Name this comin' week."

Grant stops Nightmare now, looking dead on at him, peircing those vicious green eyes, trying to get his words through as loud and clear as he can manage.

Grant Rice: "No, you're wrong. If we find ourselves getting past 'our friends' The Team With No Name this week, it's not you who has a chance for redemption, it's The Revolution with that chance. I think you forget something at times, when you feel pain, I feel that pain as well, when you're forced to tap out, I'm tapping out too. We're a team, and as such, we win as a team, and yes... we lose as a team. So I look forward to having the opportunity to step back in the ring with Zaibatsu just as much as you."

Nightmare can tell that for sure, he knows in the back of his mind that the Zaibatsu are just another pair of broken ankles in Grant Rice's mind.

Grant Rice: "Though, don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to look past T.T.W.N.N., that would be foolish of myself. I'll be honest, I haven't always seen as eye-to-eye with them as you have, but even when I say I'll stand across that ring from them and bring everything I have, I still give them my respect. Unlike The Zaibatsu, they have some form of honor and don't find the need to stoop to such low acts as cheating. My competitive nature can cloud my mind at times, makes me see everyone as the enemy and in those times, I can lose sight of some things, such as The Revolution & The Team With No Name being united as 'allies' against Zaibatsu... but much like our loss at the PPV, that cloudy-ness too, is in the past."

Nightmare looks a little relieved that Grant has had this sort of epiphany about losing sight of his allies, and tries to smile a little bit although his mind is still dark with frustration.

Nightmare: "Yeah, you know, I of all people can't dwell on the past. I need your help to start looking towards the future, I need your help to re-establish the Revolution's rightful place as the team to beat in FIW, titles or no titles, I want EVERYONE to be looking over their shoulders when they see that Revolution logo or they hear our music."

Nightmare shrugs a little bit, smiling now, getting on a little bit of a thought-roll as he continues to walk, ring monkeys flooding past the former Tag Team Champions.

Nightmare: "My personal feelings on the Team With No Name, I think they're great competitors, I think they're a breath of fresh air for these FIW fans, and I do consider them to be on our side as far as our little vendetta with the Zaibatsu goes. Since we have to face each other this week, there I think should be no hard feelings between us, Jacko or Ash, I think all we should worry about is going out there and wrestling the best match we have ever wrestled as a unit. We need to once again do Tier's legacy proud, we need to do the fans proud, we need to do Horrorcore proud. We need to once again solidify the name of the Revolution. We owe the fans and the legacy of everything we stand for that much, Grant. They deserve no less than 110% from us."

Grant nods, patting Nightmare on his broad shoulder as they continue strolling down the hallway.

Grant Rice: "The Revolution will accomplish this... by first finding our way past The Team With No Name this week, at which point we can shift our focus once again back to The Zaibatsu, leading to the point when we reclaim OUR, yes, OUR Tag Team Titles."

Nightmare smiles, liking the sound of that idea, apparently his dark mood is lifted for now but we can't really tell anymore these days. Anyway, The Revolution seem primed and ready to go for their match in a couple days, but one thing is left un-taken care of. That thing happens to be trudging towards them with a mic in their hand. Nightmare and Grant glance at each other once Noon reaches them.

Jeff Noon: "How's it goin' fellows? Could I get an interview from you two?"

Looking at each other still, knowing neither of them want to deal with this waste of space right now, both take Noon and dump him headfirst, head over heels into the nearby laundry bin that's being pushed towards the laundry room by a ring attendant. Noon, flailing around gets pushed away as The Revolution watches, satisfied with their disposal of FIW's longest tenured 'interviewer', then they walk off, getting their minds back on the coming battle.
