We join the title-less Hellcat Champion outside whatever arena it is we happen to be at. Give me a break, I have no access to the Internet as I write this. So we join Jaime Lee, who happens to be the title-less Hellcat Champion, outside the arena. Dressed in a flaring blue skirt with an uneven hemline and a brown halter top, the hellcat moves back and forth across the stairs leading up into the arena. Whatever's weighing heavy on her mind, and weighing quite heavy from the looks of it, she doesn't seem anxious to make public. Probably because there's no one around to make it public to. That's all about to change though. Because this would be a pretty boring RP if we just watched Jaime pace back and forth on the stairs outside of the arena. Just when it looks like Jaime is about to give up on the whole situation, J.J. comes skipping up the stairs. J.J.: Hey Jay! For a moment, a look of relief seems to wash over Jaime but immediately her features fall back into distraught. J.J. isn't thick enough to not notice this either. J.J.: Something's obviously wrong. But I didn't need that look from you to tell me that. Jaime sighs and leans back against the stone wall. This only prompts J.J. to move next to her and take a similar stance against the wall. J.J.: Drake, Adam or Ninja? His question gets him a rather offended look from the Hellcat Champion. Immediately defensive, J.J. throws his hands up to signal his neutral position in all of this. J.J.: I just want to know how to prepare for this discussion. Jaime: What makes you think I want to talk about any of them? J.J.: Because I've been watching, Jaime. Drake stole your belt, Adam issued a war on you... and then saved you. And Ninja... is Ninja. Jaime: What's that supposed to mean? Ninja is Ninja? J.J. shrugs his response, which does nothing to lower the arched eyebrow he's getting from Jay. J.J.: Look, Jay. I don't want to get into this whole Ninja thing. Mostly because I don't think you're ready for it. But if it happens to be the Ninja discussion, I'll gladly let you do all the talking. As for Drake and Adam, I hate both those sumbitches and will shout out all the insults I've saved up. So hit me with it. Another sigh from Jaime. What's that supposed to be about? Jaime: I don't know, J. I feel lost. Not at all like myself anymore. I can't find a reason to be happy anymore. And that bothers me more than anything. More than Drake stealing my belt. More than being attacked by someone I have no clue who they are. More than... J.J.: Adam? Silence. Jaime doesn't seem to have a response available to this topic. J.J.: Look, I know it's a confusing situation. He declares war on you, then saves you, then says it's just so that he can finish you off. But that's all the reason you need to take a stand on this. You have to decide what you're going to do about Adam. I know you two have a history or whatever. But he's for real coming after you. And he's not the only one.[/color] Jaime: And that's supposed to make me happy again? Taking a stand against Adam? Choosing to bring the fight back to him? J.J.: Is there any reason you shouldn't do that? More silence on the topic of the Great White Hype. Jaime takes a deep breath and looks off towards... something that isn't J.J. Is she unable to make eye contact after such a question? Does she even have an answer to the question? If so, it's another thing she isn't sharing. J.J.: Jay? J.J. grows pretty impatient with the discussion. Mostly because his dislike for Adam and what the signs seem to be telling him about Jaime's thoughts on him. And it doesn't help that Jaime asked to meet with him and is making him do almost all the talking. Jaime: I don't know. I gotta go. Jaime pushes off the stair railing and makes her way towards the arena. J.J.: Go? Where? I thought you wanted to talk? Jaime: We did. Thanks. But I have a shoot to get to. Thanks again, J. Thanks for what? J.J. is left wondering this as Jaime, with even more seemingly weighing on her mind than before the talk, heads into the arena. |
