As the scene to the following promo begins, we are not approached by anything but a word, the words are read as the following…

The scene then clips into a focus, the focus of the camera is a little corner street café, people walking by minding there own business as the day is beautifully sunny, captivating in its own tranquility. But enough of the scene as the camera carries on moving in towards the little café/bar on the corner, it’s not the most spectacular place in the world, as it’s bar area is literally on the corner of the pavement with it’s bar stools. The bartender himself is on the side of the long and L shaped bar, with only two customers it seems.

Yet one looks familiar, even from behind the hair, the shape, everything looks as familiar as we begin to get closer, and move more to the right, it is indeed Elrick, the Extreme underdog. He sits looking towards the bar, a pint glass in hand, the cool and refreshing head on the lager he seems to be drinking right there in all it’s glory and of course Elrick’s always uninspiring casual war, not really changing from it’s usual jeans, hoodie and trainers.

Elrick not noticing the camera’s gaze towards him, seems somewhat entwined in his own thoughts to even care as he sits on the bar stool, staring towards the drink of whatever it is he has. But soon his concentration is broke, Elrick turns towards a scream in the street, the obviously beautiful San Juan street ruined by a fearful scream as Elrick turns he sees a daughter, no younger then possibly three, being smacked by her father, or a male, Elrick presumes it’s her father but soon a couple emerge from within a building and come running, screaming at the man.

For a brief moment, as Elrick seems content on staring towards the little girl, her eyes full of fear and also tears, she looks towards Elrick, he himself seemingly crying as his lips speak only one word.

“Skye…”

She keeps crying and Elrick and the little girl’s look towards one and another never breaks, it simply continues as if nothing else mattered, nothing else was even happening, that’s until Elrick’s gaze is broken when the male holding the girl slaps the female, seeming mother and then pulls out a knife on the little girl’s throat, this all seems to click Elrick into concentration as he slams his pint glass down and pulls away from the bar, onlookers looking on in fear as Elrick walks towards the situation.

[::. Anger .::]
As these words seem to slip onto the screen, Elrick continues his walk towards the ordeal, paying attention to the little girl mainly, the thought of his own daughter in trouble possibly the motivation for him standing up and even caring, but Elrick is a man of no fear so he stops and watches, looking towards the crazed man who now lifts the girl up and starts screaming his head off.

“You pay no money, I fuckin’ slit her throat man, and you need to learn respe…”

As the crazed now seeming debt collector speaks with a violent and incredibly passionate tone for his situation, Elrick cuts him off.

“So do you mate?”

The male turns, with the screaming little girl in hand, he seems amused towards Elrick’s little interruption and starts swinging the knife in Elrick’s general direction, Elrick’s eyes move to the scared parents, the father on his knees attending to the mother who is crying, looking towards her daughter who screams out “mammy, pappy!” as this all happens, Elrick’s eyes never leave the scared parents expression as the man screams towards Elrick.

“Man you better get off before I slit and cut you into pieces, you have no idea what I could do to you man, leave.”

Elrick’s eyes never leave the emotion, he knows how it feels to have his daughter in danger, the memories flood back of all the times, from Drake’s attack, to Crackerjack’s little planned abduction, it all seems to embroil Elrick as rage fills his eyes and he turns to the man, looking him straight in the eyes, Elrick speaks with no fear, just retribution.

“Put the girl down and show me then, let’s see how big you really are.”

Elrick doesn’t even acknowledge the on lookers who look towards the whole scene in such fear and scared for Elrick, but he doesn’t care as the guy, seemingly not liking being mocked in public throws the girl down, making her begin to bleed on her forehead as she connects with the pavement, the dad rushes over to her, but she is knocked out, which makes Elrick even more annoyed, even more physically charged, so much so he doesn’t even wait!

Elrick CHARGES! Towards the man, catching him off guard and spearing himself and the guy straight into a corner shop the owner obviously shocked but Elrick doesn’t care as he then begins smashing down on the guy’s face with forearms but the guy using a knees to the guts, pushes Elrick off who clenches his gut as the guy grabs his knife again, turning to see a standing Elrick.

He begins swinging for Elrick’s face, but Elrick keeps evading, each seemingly snap strike aiming for Elrick’s throat or face, but he stands dominant before the guy makes a mistake in speaking once more.

“Man I’m gonna cut you up, then I’m gonna cut up your family.”

Oh boy! Elrick’s eyes fill with so much rage he doesn’t care for the knife a she charges in, throwing punch, after punch, after punch! Really laying it in as onlookers watch, Elrick then finishes it off with one of the sickest looking right hooks ever, knocking the guy clean out as he land son the road, looking completely knocked out as Elrick begins breathing deeply, realizing what’s just happened and turning to the family.

The father looks towards Elrick with appreciation, the mother holds her daughter, her tears full of both appreciation and fear for her daughter who is now safe, the on lookers just look toward Elrick, who shakes his head, seemingly shocked at his own action, turning though he comes face to face with he FIW cameraman, his face says it all with the look of “Oh no” with that Elrick makes his leave quickly, forgetting his drink and stuff at the bar.

The cameraman spots this and looks towards the bar area, moving over to collect hiss tuff, his mobile, wallet and a picture, the picture of his family that seems to have water marks, maybe tear marks, either way the cameraman picks them up before we then fade.

It seems later in the day when we fade back into our next scene, each caption seemingly leading us into a dazzlingly look at San Juan, this time it’s more of a boring look of beauty, actually there’s no beauty just a room, dim and all out looking quite depressing as we seem to be locked in the world of sorrow. But soon the darkness, is dashed away by a little bit of light, where this light comes from is simple.

The seemingly bathroom of the room, the room takes no importance now as in this bathroom stands Elrick, topless and only in a pair of jeans, he looks determined and upset in one mixed concoction of emotion as he looks towards a mirror in the toilet, really looking deeply within it, as he does he also notices a camera, seemingly wanting it, maybe having purposely wanted the camera to see him in this state, he doesn’t seem to admit, as he begins to talk.

“Thank you for coming, I have a lot to speak of, a lot to get off my mind and after today’s actions that I know you all saw, and a few apologies to speak of too.”

A deep sigh, before carrying on.

“First lets get straight to the need of apologizing for my violent and disgraceful actions earlier, I have no way of excusing myself for the actions but all I can say is sorry and I hope the actions have not made anyone look down on me, all I know was that I had to do something and I did all I could in the situation, I showed the world bad people don’t get everything they want.”

Elrick still looking deep into the mirror seems to have gotten that off his chest. But clearly isn’t done as he keeps his eyes towards himself, looking deep within his soul before speaking once more.

“But I have gotten past that now and now, I bring myself to the realization of the path before me, a seemingly distant but brutal path that lays before my feet, a path that tires me out, that brings personal and physical retribution into one big, gigantic collision and a path that I have chosen to follow, be there danger or even injury. It’s nothing that scares me anymore to be honest, Crackerjack has brought me to a place in my career I never thought I’d come back to, the violent side, the side of me that Slam! Fans only knew.

I mean as I sat, watched and listened to him on the promo he delivered, he’s right, it was all words at first, a few pin-falls, it seems to have upset him and got him to the point where we are now, a place where every turn it’s pure violence, we bloody and beat each other, I’ve even been hit by a freakin’ car and I still want more, I still want to hurt him for everything he’s done for me and it seems it’s become more of a need, then just a simple feud.”

Elrick really means his words, his simple and seemingly honest words coming from the past, the side he fears within himself, the NGIW Arms, FIW ECC days, the man that beat you senseless with a barbwire 2x4. As he seems content on hiding this man, but it seems he can’t no longer as more words leave his mouth, opening a path to the old, extreme Elrick.

“I mean as I read the card this week, I didn’t fear it, no I craved it, that scared me, but also made me realize how much I want to become a different man inside myself, no longer looked past, more then ever, I want to become the a threat to all of you, not simply a burden. I know I’m none as the underdog of FIW, besides this I hate it, I am no under dog, but in the match I’m in, I am indeed a underdog, but I am reincarnated, I am… the extreme underdog.

I face two of the toughest men to walk into this federation, one man I despise and will talk of in a second, but one I might as well bring up in Kiyoshi Nakahata, a man I respect even if he joined the Rejects, a man who I fought in a battle of complete toughness and stiffness, we took each other to the limits. Finally I won the Fighting Spirit Championship from him, but the feud now comes back to a head and be it with a chain or my fists, I’ll once again prove I’m the better man, but I do still respect you Kiyoshi, know that well.”

Elrick says that all with another dose of honesty, really thinking about his words as if he seems possessed on making everyone realize what he is speaking is the truth and he’s waiting to prove it, but soon he seems even more passionate as his words turn to his hated rival, Crackerjack.

“Finally I move on to Crackerjack, the man who as I have before mentioned has become my most bitter, most hated and most despised rival for a very long time, no-one has made me become so angry, so enraged and so in need of vengeance in such a long period, I congratulate you in a way Crackerjack, you’ve brought a side out like I said that no man has brought out in a very LONG time and for it, I do really hope you are prepared, because I no longer just want your title, I no longer just want to belittle you, I now NEED to beat you into the ground.

Come Friday, I am in a corner against you two and I don’t fear it, I instead welcome the chance to beat you with a chin, I CRAVE the need to strangle you with the chain. I am no longer going to lose to you Crackerjack, to beat me this week you will need to beat me to death and I know these are just words to you, but I promise you this my friend, be it words to you or not, I DARE you to look past me, because you do, I will decapitate you and I swear this on my family, this Friday I am going to put you to show, the show that Elrick is not Crackerjack’s bitch, but Crackerjack, your mine.”

Elrick looks deep, deep into his mirror, not even caring how much he insults anyone, but soon enough he simply closes the door, not wanting to speak anymore, feeling his words are all he needs to speak, the scene instantly fades.
