Our scene fades in to a room, yes a room, nothing overwhelming or spectacular about the actual room, but of course this is FIW, we don’t just slip into a fade for nothing so soon all is shown as the camera backs into a full shot of the room. Sitting neatly and quite tidily dressed on the edge of a table is Gunnar Leland, supporting a black suit with a red shirt, white tie too looking towards some paper work on the table before him, the table is brown and is long ways towards the camera. Behind Gunnar is a promotional poster of the upcoming FIW pay-per-view Violence Fetish, all the matches been promoted with nice crisp images of the FIW warrior’s, Elrick vs. Crackerjack vs. Liam Mortell vs. Grant Rice dead center of this particular poster and all seems quite obvious that Gunnar has a reason to his seating placement as he begins to talk as only Gunnar can. “FIW fans welcome to a specially arranged interview, this will be conducted here and the two interviewee’s are no strangers to one and another, unfortunately both are late, so if you only give me a few moments I will see…” Before he can finish, the door to the room opens, with a quick and speedy snap back and in walks Elrick, looking somewhat exhausted and the sweat coming from his forehead. He dawns a white t-shirt with “Elrick” on it, a pair of training pants and some trainers, he looks like he’s been doing some training but all will be answered as he sits down, looking towards Gunnar. “Sorry… was training and forgot time, I’m gathering he’s late?” Gunnar nods as Elrick pulls off a “Of course” expression on his already unimpressed looking face, but either way Elrick seems about ready to speak once again when the door swings open and Elrick turns immediately, a look of anger yet happiness dawns his face as he speaks towards whoever it is. “Thought you pussied out, guess not.” |

Crackerjack: Are you still on that? Crackerjack enters the doorway slowly sans title belt. Seriously, why would he need it for an interview? Well, perhaps later we'll find out. As for the moment at hand, Crackerjack brushes past one of his future opponents before making his way to his chair. Of course Elrick seems a little upset over this or is it just that he's so close to his hated rival. Either way, Elrick takes his own seat. With both men seated, Gunnar turns toward the undisputed international champion to start things off. Gunnar: Crackerjack, His voice and tone are dry as if reading from some prepared script. A tone that suggests no amount of surprise in the answers will knock him off course. This was Gunnar Leland, and you don't do anything that would jeopardize the integrity of the show. This was a man who wasn't below having security escort a man off the set if all he had to say was how he felt about his opponent for the week or any other kind of "lower brand interview" shenanigans. This was a sit down interview, key words; sit down. You don't sit when you have a lot to say. Gunnar knew all about this and was among the few who actually didn't care if things exploded between his two guests. He would rather have no show than some mockery. Therefore, his tone was dry and coarse. Gunnar: Let's first start off with your challenge which you issued to Elrick. A buried alive match at the Nensai Senjou event. The match words were mentioned with a heightened brow of interest. No, not interest. Not even concern. Perhaps it was just surprise that he never gets to say something like that every week. Even every year would be rare. So Gunnar makes the most of saying it this one time. You never know when the next time two superstars will willingly put themselves through such planned hell. Gunnar: Why so late? Are you actually willing to hold your grudge inward until then? The question was made to seem as though Elrick wasn't there and for the moment it was working. Gunnars posture even suggested it was a one on one interview. The man was good. He knew that if he threw questions out there he'd lose control or worse, might even lose control of the situation and have a massacre on the set. Everything starts with words and if they go too far...well, let's just say that the man is good. Crackerjack: I'm expected that Elrick will be prepared if I gave him the time to train. Elrick is ready to put up some sort of verbal defence but he decides to remain silent. At least for the time being. He knows that anything said will eventually be cut off by Gunnar and further use of the verbal arts will have him thrown off the set. Therefore, with great reluctance, Elrick bites his tongue. Crackerjack: Since he came back, Elrick hasn't been what he once was. He had two victories over me before his...departure. Now Elrick re enters the spotlight, but only because that last word was directed toward him. Crackerjack knows what's going on and it would suit him plenty if Elrick was no longer around. But he knows he can't just openly say that. Gunnar is a smart man. With each continual push Crackerjack would find that the only one leaving would be him. Therefore it's the one word directed toward him and he leaves it at that. Crackerjack: How long did it take for him to finally get some kind of win over me? He is certainly not the same man who left the company those months ago. Case in point, that little street fight he started and I ended. I'm sure if Elrick was his old self he'd have put up a much greater challenge. And those street punks. How could someone like Elrick lose to a gang of roving teenagers? Now, while most weren't of that age, there was still that small majority. You see Gunnar, I'm giving Elrick two months to get prepared because I want to bury the true Elrick. Not the guy who whines and complains about sneak attacks. Not the guy who dangles his family around as if looking for mercy. I want to fight the guy who took the Revolution to the brink of the top during that war some years ago. The man who says "fuck the past, fuck the future, time is the present." If I don't end up fighting that guy, then I don't know who I'll be burying. Gunnar simply nods. That's all he does; nods. Nods approvingly? No, it's just his common response for such a sordid tale. Noticing that Crackerjack is finished, Gunnar takes the time to go on with the next question. He understands that it's just the beginning of the interview and Elrick has hardly been given the chance to get a word in edgewise, but Gunnar seems to press Crackerjack on for more. His reasons? Well, they remain his own. Gunnar: I'm sure we'll all be looking forward to that one. But for now we'll be seeing you compete against him as well as Grant Rice and Liam Mortell. A fatal fourway for your undisputed international championship. Now, we've heard from Liam on the subject. Have you had a chance to hear what he has said? Crackerjack: Yes. I'm not the kind of guy who looks down on his opponents and simply guesses what they'll say based on how they act. Say a few words about their character only to try and heighten myself. The truly pathetic are the ones who go about something so...childish. This little insult isn't directed toward Elrick. As a matter of fact, Crackerjack seems to speak now as though the interview was one on one, like one of those Hollywood interviews where the interviewer already knows the answers so it's not them that the interviewee speaks to. Instead, it's toward the peers and fans. Crackerjack: Instead I respond, and what I have learnt from Liam's portrayal of my view toward the match is...that he is correct. Well, incorrect now. I'm pleased to hear that Liam expects nothing but the best from his opposition, me in particular. I fully understand that to win against a man who wished to lose is far worse than losing to a man who never wanted to win. But that is not my full intention. Liam Mortell is a man who seems worthy of holding onto this belt. When I first held it I was the one who never wanted it. The nightmares changed my mind as I protected others by holding it for myself judging any challengers intentions. A lot of them are looking to gain the title for the glory. What glory is there with this title? It's a shame he's not wearing it because right about now would be the time he's whip it out to put a picture to his point. Instead, he sits there in his little chair and continues on with his little tale. Crackerjack: Parading around saying that you're the greatest when you earn this belt is the truly pathetic act. Like you settled for second place in this company especially when you know that there is an even greater prize. To me this belt is nothing but the start of the long road toward the Dual Crown. But it also means that you have become the new judge of character and integrity. You give the belt to who you see as being a future dual crown champion. So not everyone will suffice. That is what I have been doing, at least that is what I'm doing now. Nightmare wanted the belt for himself and had the intentions that he didn't want to go any further. Grant Rice to me is the same. The last time I challenged him he wanted the belt for himself. Gunnar: And Elrick? Crackerjack: Hm, Elrick? I dn't know...what are your intentions? That little line spoken in the tone that finally gives Elrick the spotlight. Although in a mere sarcastic method. Crackerjack knows the answer, Elrick's given it to him so many times. But maybe something has changed. There was only one way in finding out. |

Intently Elrick listens to Crackerjack’s words, seemingly gotten over the long deep breath’s, he’s now fully focused on the obligation at hand and as he has the question placed towards him, he answers with respectful words. “’Jack you think you know my answers because, deep down you believe you’ve cracked me but believe it or not, I care not for the championship, the status it provides, hell I couldn’t care about the big money it brings to my paycheck, the simple reason I want that title, is to make a point. The point that I’m not the underdog of this federation, the point I am a formidable force and I don’t care how I achieve this goal either, basically, all in all, the reason I have and want that title? Respect.” Elrick shrugs, being honest to a man you despise really annoys you, but he knows the agreement of no actions or violence, whomever strikes first or gets physical is deducted a weeks paycheck. Elrick in that case remains calm, nothing to hurtful thrown his way so staying clam is quite easy for now as he speaks once more. “Oh and ‘Jack, before Gunnar asks me some questions, just so you know, the guts you’ve shown already impressed me, match wise? Buried alive is fine by me, the date again, fine by me but I think a stipulation should be on it, say the winner leaves FIW for 3 months, no coming back, in that time and when you do, no personal vendetta’s are allowed. Oh and while this subjects roaring and Gunnar’s thinking up some impressive question, I am still the Elrick of old, I may lag, I may not be as violent but that’s only because I’ve had no opportunity to demonstrate, deciding to play nice, well that is until now, but we’ll leave that for another day, this PPV is more of a concern at the moment, so let see what Gunnar’s got for me.” Elrick sits there, getting those things off his chest before leaning back in his chair, looking towards the man before him in Crackerjack, seemingly wondering what Crackerjack’s expression is beyond the mask. That’s all good and fine, but as there possible stare down happens, Gunnar takes control and with his dominate voice, speaks up towards Elrick. “Elrick you’ve answered some questions, but the more pressing subject is indeed that of this upcoming Pay-Per-View, Violence Fetish, so I ask you as I did Crackerjack, with such a bitter hatred between you both, will you look past Grant Rice and Liam Mortell, straight for Crackerjack, or will you actually go for the win, either way.” Elrick listens to Gunnar’s words, they seem so full of curiosity and depth, Elrick though seems quite happy to answer the question as he indeed does. “Honestly? I don’t look past anyone, a mistake made to often by others but I refuse to do it to anyone, be it Dragon or Crackerjack over there. I see each wrestler in the same light, hate them, like them, not really care, there all in FIW for a reason, these guys can put you down and out with ease if you take them lightly. I have know Grant Rice for years, since NGIW, the boy can brawl, the guy can wrestle, he can fuck you up two ways from Sunday and I know it, thus why I prepare for him, I know he wants this so much that it’s gonna be tough to stop him. Liam on the other hand, not really known him as long, since his FIW debut the guys been sending radio waves around the roster, a real threat I’m told, so of course he worries me, but anyone who can defeat half of the main-eventing roster should scare anyone, right? End of the day, I see three men in that ring going for the same thing as I, the win, nothing to stop either but each other and it’s gonna get physical, yes I’m going to aim to fuck you up Crackerjack, no two ways about ti, I hate you and I won’t lie about it, but that title win? It means just as much if not more to, so I will be gunning for all of you, that’s for damn sure.” Elrick looks towards Crackerjack, as Gunnar aims another question at Elrick’s direction. “Elrick it’s obvious you have goals going into the title match, your distaste for Crackerjack also a big factor in the match, but don’t you fear placing two much into that match, will down your fatigue for the main event, the condemned fetish match?” Before Elrick gets chance to speak, he’s cut off by Crackerjack… |

Crackerjack: Of course it'll down his fatigue. Gunnar turns his head toward Crackerjack who points toward Elrick with an open hand as if stating the obvious. Then again it is clearly obvious that Elrick will indeed be fatigued. No more so than Crackerjack, Liam, and Grant though. They've all displayed their lust for a win so holding back just isn't in the cards. Gunnar however, does hold back his need to send Crackerjack off the set. Perhaps he knows that Crackerjack's onto something and would therefore be good for the interview. Therefore, with just a hint of reluctance, he allows Crackerjack to proceed. Crackerjack: If he comes into the match putting so little into it after saying all he's said I'm afraid I will have to kill him. Not because I said I would in the past or to uphold this image of me being a monster, but to just end the misery that he's living through. Gunnar: Misery? Elrick seems ready and poised to tackle that point but can't seem to get a word in edge wise. Mainly because Crackerjack is too quick on the draw for the second time. Crackerjack: Yes. To hold back after what he's said just shows that he's scared to test even his own limits. After all this work if he's still like that, I'm afraid I'd just be wasting my time if I let him continue with his career. Gunnar sits back in his chair from his leaning posture clasping his hands together in front of him as if ready to make some kind of valid point. Gunnar: Well, I don't recall Elrick ever acting scared. Crackerjack: Really? This one word seems to intrigue Gunnar as he loses his confident expression for a moment. Crackerjack: If he wasn't scared than how is it I took him out of the game for those few weeks when I stepped up my game, huh? Either he wasn't good enough to challenge my limits or he was too scared to see if he could. The end result was that he got injured. Gunnar: But-- Crackerjack: Any man can act tough when they're far from the monster. Cocky, confident, they're all the same. History has taught us just that. When you confront the very monster you've talked so much about you seem to back down or present a little give. Now, in this instance am I the monster? Some would think so but I'm not. Gunnar: Crackerjack, you seem to be going all over the place now. I think it'd be best if we just-- Crackerjack: The true monster out there is the belt. I had thought the nightmares had ended but they were only gathering themselves to come out more powerful. It calls for more bloodshed. Gunnar: Wait, wait, how can a piece of metal be some kind of monster? Just doesn't sound plausible. Crackerjack: The true monsters are those you cannot kill. Legends that scream across the nation of the mental realm. This is what those men are fighting for. But that's just sad and pathetic, Gunnar. Because I'm just fighting to keep the nightmares. Well, maybe not. Gunnar, if you can believe it, three men will enter the ring and fight for a belt. I however, will be fighting for a title. It's time I reclaim the title of most devastating monster. And a double win this weekend will give me just that. Then again, a loss wouldn't be all that bad either. In the stories the monster always goes down...but not without causing some for of devastation. Gunnar: uh... Crackerjack: I'm finished. You can talk to me if you want, just don't expect a response. |

“You ain’t no fucking monster, you are more of a pussy footer, waiting for men to be down before knocking them down and beating them you idiot. You don’t have the testicular fortitude to attack any of us head on because you know, deep down, beyond all that “badness” that all you are is a pussy who can’t hurt anyone.” Elrick says this looking directly towards Crackerjack, knowing, well me knowing this won’t count in the land of rp deadlines but hell if I’ll leave this role-play open. Elrick stands, not really feeling so clam anymore after listening to all the words barraging on top of him from his most hated foe before him, Elrick looks towards Crackerjack, not caring if he’s looking towards him, before launching his attack towards him. “You know ‘Jack the question I ask you is do you really want the real Elrick? Because I don’t think you realize what your asking for, that Elrick would destory and bloody any fucker that got in his way and hell, want that and piss me off more, you’ll get it, I’ll unleash hell on you and any fucker that wants some because I’m tired of all of this, Elrick’s crap, Elrick’s not the same anymore. IF everyone wants me to explode and just kill some fucker so be it, I really don’t care anymore, we clear you waste of crap, because I would love nothing but to slam your ass through this table right fucking now but I will save that for Sunday because I will tell you NOW, I am gunning for you, we clear? That title will be mine, but your blood over my knuckles? Oh hell yes it will be. I’ll smash your face in SO bad that your blood will piss from your forehead because I’m tired of your words being sprayed in my face, you don’t know me, nor will you Crackerjack and end of the day, we’ll sort this out at Nensai Senjou 08’ but know this you little fuck, come Sunday, I’ll still get that little bit of retribution by taking everything from you, your fear, your title and most of all? Your dignity when I knock you the fuck out.” Elrick leans towards Crackerjack, really feeling the hatred evolving, spilling into each vein, filling his hatred meter to the top, exactly at boiling point as Elrick stares towards him face to face almost. “Oh and ‘Jack, my fatigue, my style, my everything will not matter come Sunday, I don’t just talk, I walk that walk to, come Sunday I’ll have no problem whomever it be walk before me, I am ready to prove just why I am called “The Career Killer”, now before you get all upset because I don’t fear you, I have a little private message for you.” Elrick backs up a little bit before swinging, against the rules and connecting with a HUGE haymaker towards Crackerjack, taking him by surprise, but not doing nothing but making Crackerjack reel back in the chair the grasp his jaw as Elrick looks towards Gunnar who has watched the interview crumble to shreds. “Sorry Gunnar, fucker deserved that, thanks for the time, see you Sunday ‘Jack.” Elrick shakes Gunnar’s hand, even if Gunnar is far from amused at both actions, but either way Elrick leaves, leaving a statement that makes quite the point. |
