Captain SPARKLE~!!!

On a dark, fresh Japanese night, your FIW Dual Crown Champion slips into the country unannouced; Kiyoshi Nakahata's stealthily chartered jet* touches down, and once the steps have been rolled up to the door, the Yeti steps out into the breeze, pausing to stretch and yawn and brush the hair out of his mouth. Fuzziness of the plane ride shaken, he gets ready to take his first steps on his homeland in 10 months. Next off the plane is Keita Ijima, who seems a little more alert, having actually got some sleep on the plane back home. He still can't stifle a yawn though, and this aggravates the stitches on his jaw. Finally is Jun Kimura, who has ditched his contact lenses and looks out with his own two, grey eyes; the swelling on the right one having all but faded....

During the set-up for the Condemned Fetish Match...

Cut to some jerky footage of a misty eyed Kiyoshi striding to the back surrounded by a gang of security guards trying to keep their uniforms and their insides from being eviscerated by the ravening hoard. Upon reaching the back, Kiyoshi finds a chair, and doesn't so much sit down as fall into it. After wriggling out of his belts, and asking for a pocket knife to cut his wrist-tape. With the GHC and the WHC off from around his waist, so that he can both slouch and breathe at the same time, he ventures a single open eye, and looks around. The mic on the camera doesn't actually work, so we're left with subtitles.

Kiyoshi: Where are they?

No-one knows who he is on about; Security have no idea, the road agents are left stumped, even Onikage doesn't seem to know who he's on about. Thrusting the Dual Crown into the Saviour's hands, Kiyoshi makes to push through the way he came, and is met with some resistance, what with the crowd being out for his blood.

Kiyoshi: It does not matter. I have to find them.

No-one else is worth subbing. At this point, a knife arrives for him to slice off the tape. With no time to soak it off properly, Kiyoshi takes off the top layer of skin, from both arms, and snatches the bandana off the person who brought him the knife, to hide his hair. After darting into his dressing room, he reappears with a pair of trousers roughly pulled over his wrestling shorts, trying to do the buttons of his white shirt up, as quickly as he can without muffing it. In the end, he skips a few buttons, and asks if there's another way out to the arena floor. After being pointed in the right direction, he flees his escort, in the hope that his rough disguise means that he won't have to fight through the entire arena.

Keita: Well, it's a better reaction than you got in Mexico City, eh?

At this, Kiyoshi takes his face in one hand, his bag in the other and just walks away, with Keita dragging his wheeled suitcase behind him. Just to be different, Kimura has a rucksack and hefts that up onto his shoulders when he reaches the base of the stairs.

Keita: A few days here at home, and then off to Nagano. Wonder what those mountain-folk'll make of you up there.

Kiyoshi obliges him with his best Wookie-Roar. It's not something he practises too much, and to be honest, it shows.

Kimura: It's good to be back. You know how long you're staying this time, Kiyo?

With an undercurrent of apology, Kiyoshi can only shrug.

Kiyoshi: I still have not decided. At the very least, until the beginning of February, so I will be around for my sister's birthday.** After that, I am still not sure. I still have to speak to my parents and...***

Keita: Ah... How is she?

Kiyoshi: Oh, fine. I think she wants me to stay, so we can finally settle down and get married and everything. It was something we talked about a lot when she came to visit a few months ago, just before we left the mainland. I cannot ask her to leave home, especially when I will not even be around for half of the year.

Keita: Another tick in the 'Stay' column?

A shrug, as the three carry on walking across the nearly deserted airfield, doing their best not to mention Kiyoshi's fiancee by name. Go watch Abdullah Kobyashi's BJW sponsered marriage celebration if you want to know why.

Kiyoshi: Seems that way. She says she can wait as long as it takes, but...

Kimura: I remember it was her idea for you to go travelling in the first place, right?

The Yeti answers the question with a nod, and then dismisses the whole line of enquiry with another of his infamous shrugs. He does have broad enough shoulders to keep shrugging off questions all day long, as has been proven on a number of occaisions before this.

Keita: I suppose the other side of it all is the Dual Crown, and the whole Nakahata-era.

Kimura: That's got a nice ring to it; Nakahata-era.

Keita: Oh hell yeah, conjours up images of bleak snowscapes-

Kimura: Thundering Drumbeats-

Keita: And of course, lots and lots of fighting. Come to think of it, Nagano is a fine place to start this Nakahata-era.

Most people clap their hands on Kiyoshi Nakahata's shoulders, talking about bright, shiny things like 'the future,' and 'a new era,' will usually find their arms broken, or the floor suddenly becoming a wall, or something of that ilk. Keita Ijima and Jun Kimura get a rare - if a little sheepish - smile. After all...

Back to Violence Fetish

Shoving his way through an angry mass of largely Mexican humanity, a badly disguised Kiyoshi Nakahata has not been spotted yet. And considering that someone has belted him in the stomach with a rack of folding chairs even without knowing who he was, this is for the best. Before his assailant can lift up the group of chairs to do some damage to Kiyoshi's brainpan, he charges him and tackles him to the ground, disappearing for a moment, leaving his stolen bandana to flutter in the air for a moment, until someone else falls into it. Subtitles flash up on the screen.

Keita: Kiyo-kun!!!

In a blur, Keita - complete with fresh gash on his chin - jumps in and starts kicking Kiyoshi's would-be attacker in the ribs, while the Yeti rips away the chairs, and pushes the Super Ninja away with his other hand. More effective than that is Jun Kimura ripping him away by the hair with his free hand. Kimura's other hand is occupied trying to fend off someone trying to theive his camera. He almost loses it too, as yet another angry Mexican staggers him with a punch to the open side of his face. The precious Nikon is saved by the efforts of Kiyoshi throwing the original theif to the floor, and the flash of Keita's foot in the face of the boxer.

Kimura: Right. Which way's out of here?

Kiyoshi points, and Kimura - followed by a bouncing and excited Keita, and a terrified huddle of Japanese tourists - leads the way through the riot...

... Maybe not quite hell, but no man wades into a riot that he essentially caused for just anyone. The three are getting close to the main building of the airfield, just enough time for one closing remark.

Keita: Ah well, even if it's only for two months, this Nakahata-era's going to be fun, right?

The only reply is Keita's own laugh, and the fading of the scene...

[size0]* FIW.com's expert spies have been, as yet, unable to determine who exactly chartered it. It's believed to be the company itself, but why they would want to keep it secret is... well, a secret.

** February 5th.

*** He says a name here, but it's muted.
