[align=center]One more time and you'll be dead
'Least I think that's what they said...

Our screen hears lyrics before opening on a hooded, cloaked figure standing in a flat field with chest-high, brown, dry grass. The figure is facing away from us, but we hear his voice clear as a bell.

"I remember the first time I left the land I love. The first real mistake I ever made... I thought I was too hurt to stay. I thought too much trauma had happened for me to still remain a part of it all. Fortunately, I turned out to be wrong. So wrong..."

Forty days won't break a man
It was a bullet in his head...

"It kept repeating for me that way. I'd keep coming home but I'd always just end up hurt. My body ached with pain to even get out of bed. My body betrayed me so many times..."

The figure bows its hooded head and we hear it sigh.

There's something in the...
Something in the way you were
The pain so wrong my friend

"The last time the only thing I hurt was my mind. It seemed like everyone else's actions were driving me more and more slowly into madness."

Revolution...
Revolution man

The figure whirls about suddenly, revealing a face hidden by a gas mask under the hood.

"Now I realize I was the only one to blame."

Imagine all the people... ...

"See, the last time I was in this land I love, it was filled with war. An army fought an army over the same ideals and principals. Christians fighting Muslims, both in the name of God or Allah..."

One more time and you'll be dead
At least I think that's what they said

"I wanted to be a part of the army. I wanted to fight... until I found out we were all warring under the same banner. The flag that struck the earth at end would only be different in the insignia it bore. Everything it stood for would still be the same. The victor and the loser would both reap the spoils of war."

Forty days won't break a man
It was a bullet in his head

"At first I blamed myself, thought it was ME slipping, that I'd lost sight of the idea. That my personal issues and tragedies had clouded my interpretation of the thing I hold so close to my heart. Now I see far more clearly."

Listen while I load my gun
He said to me

"The idea hadn't even been taken in by any one soldier in the army. They all held the flags, sure, wore the uniforms... but the voices in their heads and the songs in their hearts were to the beat of a different drummer. Each a different drummer. Each flying their flag for whatever reasons they wanted to apply to it... if only to hoist a standard with everybody else."

Something 'bout a chosen one
It's comin' back to me

"I had an acquaintance on the other side... our opinions --our faith-- differed, but I respected him for rallying under the cry. For clinging to the side of his cause..."

Watch him while I taste the sun
He said to me

"He tasted glory. Too much, maybe, but he held it under his tongue and rolled it like sickly sweet candy. His eyes were hungry and wanted more than he could take. He fell in love with corrupting himself with power."

Something 'bout a chosen one
You'll never be

"But it was still all a lie. I met him on the battlefield. We fought against one another. I fought him with respect and he fought me with a fever. I only remember crying out as I fell... why?"

One last time your medicine
Swallow hard and take it in

"I faked an injury well enough to leave the war. To leave the land that I love with a small hope never to return. I ran across the map looking for a new home to accept me, all the while knowing in the back of my head that my real home was here... and forever denying these facts."

Lucy's in the sky again
Trippin' on her diamonds

"I know better now. I've come to grips with the FACTS. I understand that it was not me that faild my countrymen... but my countrymen that failed me. Even my enemies ceased to truly be my enemies and only existed to fight for fighting's sake."

Listen while I load my gun
He said to me

"I'm here now, and I've loaded my gun."

The figure raises above his head a Kalishnikov rifle before lowering it back into the grass.

Something 'bout a chosen one
It's comin' back to me

"And I am aware that only I can cleanse the wicked from the land that I love."

Watch him while I taste the sun
He said to me

"I'll capture my glory once more, and this time I won't give it up for anything or anyone. This world is about to change. Those who know me should count their days and make them special, for each and every one is numbered."

Something 'bout a chosen one
You'll never be

"I am the Revolution Man."
