Captain SPARKLE~!!!
Creative Team
On a night so dark that our camera needs to make use of the Night Vision; leaving nothing but a blinding flash of white bobbing up and down in the middle of the screen. As bizarre as that sounds, there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for it; being that Kiyoshi Nakahata has his hood down, and quite enjoys the feeling of the chill wind through his hair. The reason why he's bobbing up and down is a little less reasonable given the time, but apart from the DC Champion's boat, there's no other traffic on the River Ouse* at this time. He has an outboard motor, which he leans against, but at this point, it's off, leaving the Yeti alone with a camera, a tripod and gentle swaying.

Kiyoshi: I am rather fortunate in my opponent this week; and not because I feel he is some kind of pushover, because I do not, and even if I did, I would not consider myself so fortunate anyway. This week, I find myself fortunate having not had to listen to anyone tell me that my losing the Dual Crown is written in the Stars, and soon enough, that both the World Heavyweight Championship and the Global Heavyweight Championship will both be residing around the waist of Ethan Adams.

He pauses for reath, but ends up stifling a yawn.

Kiyoshi: Excuse me, it has been a long day...

The next yawn he can't keep down at all.

Kiyoshi: A long day, half of it spent in gym, doing strength and cardio work, and a lot of the rest of it was spent in a most productive fashion watching a complimentary copy of a fascinating double DVD set entitled "High Spots and Hardships."

Idly scratching the scar on his cheek, he tries to think who might have sent it to him. With no forthcoming answers, he just gets on with it.

Kiyoshi: As I say, a fascinating look into both the wrestling style and the inner workings of the man, if a little self-congratulatory for my tastes; especially the celebration scenes, although the opportunity to revisit our earlier draw was most informative. It did remind me that my opponent this week believes that if God were to come down and aim a shotgun at his head, God would miss; and while it is a "cute" enough attitude to see when he brags about beating Liam Mortell twice, despite having also lost to him twice; I do tend to lose my patience when people come in and assume they will beat me.

With a little shrug that asks if anyone remembers the last time he got angry about someone looking past him to the title, he carries on, still scratching his scar.

Kiyoshi: But on a more serious note, I am looking forward to this particular match. After the last time we met broke down somewhat, into a 30 minute hitting match, I expect a match with the time limit doubled to be even more of the same; and after being in that hold "The Ego Stroke" twice now, without having properly escaped it, I have been forced to pay a little more attention to my abdominal strength than normal, in the hope that I might better be able to counter.

At this, he smiles and drags his hand across his nose to keep it away from the mark on his cheek. The hand in front of his face doesn't actually muffle his speech; his naturally quiet voice does that well enough.

Kiyoshi: So thank you, Mr. Adams for a good week; one of my favourites on this tour of Great Britain. For so much of this little holiday, my head has been spinning with thoughts of untrustworthy - or just plain unworthy - partners, and people who believed me already beaten; along with a certain James Brody, who through insults and arrogance casts his shadow over me at every turn. It has been such a relief to, for once just blot it all out and focus on that next defense. You.

Finally moving his hand out of his face, he brushies his hair back and smiles, although quickly, the smile turns to an empty facsimile of itself.

Kiyoshi: Even though I know that you will appear at some point, with your cocky swagger, and brag about being able to take me down, and then go on to Anarchy in the UK with a Best of Seven Series to finish and contractually obligated defense against Prime and win it all. It brings me an edge disappointment when I think about it. I have heard it all before, Mr. Adams; when I stared into the heart of Mr. Brody, when I was sent that video made my Mr. James.

Turning away to find the starter-draw for the outboard motor of his boat, Kiyoshi humourlessly turns away.

Kiyoshi: And that is when that little key - which is kept fully wound up anyway - is just turned that little bit tighter...

That is the perfect to find what he's looking for and start up his little boat. It takes a few goes to get it to stay going, but he makes it start without too much difficulty.

Kiyoshi: My apologies. I did not mean to appear threatening. These things have been weighing on my mind recently, and it really has been refreshing to not have to think of them for this week. Until Sunday, Mr. Adams, All That Remains...

The second half of the catchphrase is drowned out by the roar of the engine; and thanks to the glory of Post Production, the fade comes in just as the camera overbalances and hits the deck, literally.

[size0]* Those of you remotely familiar with English Geography will know that the River Ouse is no-where near London. Kiyoshi however is based in York for the duration of this UK tour.
