We find ourselves fading into a rather bland locker room. I guess I could have got creative here and made it a classroom given the whole “Teacher-Student” thing Tier & Rice have going on, but I didn't... deal.

Grant Rice is there, what he's wearing is uninteresting as it is week after week... someone needs to buy this man some clothes, always wearing the same thing... his Undisputed International Championship is not on his shoulder as he stands there with hand on one of the lockers, leaning, putting his weight on said hand.

Oh, right, his belt. I see it, it's resting on the back of a folding chair just feet away from him. Anyway, he notices the camera and does what your spose to do when there's a camera around, talk

Grant Rice: You know, Jaime Lee made a point almost a month ago. She pointed out that perhaps Tier's “lessons” were nothing more then a way to get into my head. That they were meant to change me, make me more like Tier himself. Why? Because then, he would know how to beat me.

He pauses for a moment, collecting thoughts about something but it's not long before he continues.

Grant Rice: Many industry insiders were fast to discredit Jaime Lee's look upon the situation, citing that it was far to simple a plan for Tier. I however look back on her claims and realize how much truth they may hold.

He pushes off the locker, though doesn't do anything... just... stands there.

Grant Rice: What am I talking about? Look at the facts. Tier returned to destroy me, yet was failing. However, since he has appointed himself my teacher, one can see that he's inched closer and closer toward my defeat. Maybe it's that simple, maybe not. However, I do thank you Jaime. On a week where you could have simply babbled on and on about how you were going to beat me, you took time to try and point out how Tier may have been playing a sick game with me.

Grant's eyes lit up, I swear it was right when he thanked Jaime Lee. He's been... odd... lately, is it just me, or do other people think that Grant Rice has been smoking something...?

Grant Rice: However, I must question these industry insiders. You claim Jaime's version of Tier's actions to be one hundred percent false simply because it's too simple for a man like Tier. Seriously? Is it nearly as simple as when he returned to destroy me because I didn't fight for his cause to fight for his cause but to simply fight to fight? Simpler then a petty name dispute? What makes this idea of Tier's plan anymore simpler then the 'plan' so easily destroyed by my words before Nensai Senjou?

Grant's head shakes... for whatever reason.

Grant Rice: Maybe it is too simple. Maybe that's not why Tier feels the need to teach me. Maybe he feels so alone in this world that he wants a partner, someone to wreak havoc on the world with. No? Maybe it's all about Tier 2.0, creating a Tier Mini Me to rule the business after his Swan Song.

Grant takes a step forward, toward the camera, not an evil grin on his face as you would expect when speaking of being Tier's Mini Me.

Grant Rice: The problem is, I could never be you Tier. I may come off as a very bad boy with a lot of heelish tendencies, but a good guy remains within me. He may hide out at times, times such as when I need to get ruthless in the ring, but he remains there.

Why not toss in a deep look into the camera here. Give me a break, I feel like shit... my creativeness is being zapped with every cough. :(

Grant Rice: It may make me a bad candidate for 'Horrorcore Legend,' but it makes me human. Does this make you happy to hear? Can't say that I care.

What makes Rice think he's anywhere near being listed on a ballot for 'Horrorcore Legend' anyway? Gosh, the nerve of this guy.

Grant Rice: You taught a few good lessons. However, Sunday, maybe it's time the student became the teacher.

Grant Rice looks as though he wants to hurt Tier. Not to destroy him, just to 'teach him a lesson.' With that, I say we fade.
