Ah, the humble corridor; staple of all wrestling promos ever. At the moment, our humbly generic locale in the undifined wastelands of TBA is currently populated by Toby Bostock, who is staring down at his DS, scratching his head and staring intently. Eventually, he gets a clue as to what he's meant to be doing in the game, holds down the Y button and draws breath to yell... Only to cut it off with a thud, as he drops the handheld console in surprise; as he sees Daisuke 'The Crow' Tanaka walk past. Had he not reared his head back at that particular moment, he might never have spotted the rather ill looking bird on his way by. Tanaka seems oblivious to Bostock, probably more out of a desire to not be bothered on his way than of actual ignorance, and he brushes everyone's favourite geek's hand off his shoulder, prompting the question:

Toby: Wha-

It would have bloomed into a question, in the fullness of time; but Daisuke doesn't give him anything that resembles the time it needs, as he raises his left hand to Bostock's face faster than the poor boy can blink.

Daisuke: Silence.

Slightly worryingly, Daisuke's voice is barely above a hoarse whisper; as deep and as calm as he ever speaks, just quieter. Jorge makes a neat sidestep around to get the pair side-on, and we can see that it's not just his voice that shows signs of decay; his usually perfect suit just seems to hang a little loosely around him, and his face is almost as white as the Yeti's hair. Suffice to say, Daisuke is not amused by the interruption. After a pause to allow this to register in Toby's "puny mind," Daisuke stalks on.

Toby: Wait, wait!

Tanaka's boots let off as menacing a squeal as they can as he pivots; making this the first time Daisuke has been heard while walking in the entire scene. If he had his sword at his belt, there is very little doubt that he would have drawn it by now; unfortunately for him, Interviewers are impervious to mere Murderous Intent, otherwise the irritating little spec would no longer be annoying him.

Toby: You got time for an interview, Tanaka-san, uh, sama?

Even though he was trying to control a light coughing fit as he was being asked, he spots the clumsy attempt to flatter him through the honourific. There's a thud as he drops his bag and folds his arms.

Daisuke: Make it quick, and to the point, Mr. Bostock.* I have far more important things to do with my time than to stand here idly bantering with the likes of you.

Despite being drawn, pale, struggling not to cough and nearly 15lbs under his usual fighting weight, Daisuke still manages to keep Bostock off balance through force of will.

Toby: Um, yeah... So last week. You squeaked through against EN; and you were pretty lucky not to get your head stomped in.

Being the shortest man on the FIW roster,** Daisuke doesn't tower over many people. Toby Bostock is one of the few he is taller than, and he makes a use of it here, as he steps in, with a cough.

Daisuke: Mr. Bostock, the Extreme Ninja twice had a chance to send me back home with a severe concussion. The first time, whatever Ninja-sense he may have, failed him when I pinned him. The second time, out of arrogance, or out of some idea of mercy...

A dark chuckle at that thought breaks down into a particularly huge cough, and whatever grin might have been forming is swept away.

Daisuke: I have one thing, and one thing only to say to Nidaime: for better or for worse, finish what you start.

Toby: Well... Powerful stuff...

Toby quite clearly doesn't know how to follow that up, the only thing he does know is that if he wants this interview to continue, he's got to stop Daisuke leaving now. The only thing they have that he can possibly talk about is...

Toby: So what about this week?

Daisuke straightens up, having picked up his bag, and flung it over his shoulder. Once more, and by now slightly exasperated, he turns back to face the camera.

Daisuke: Shaun Wilson? I am most grateful for his efforts as part of the Zaibatsu. But we had an arrangement, and now that is over. That is the extent of our relationship. I believe Mr. Wilson could beat me in a straight up hitting match; but surely he knows that that is not something he will easily get.

He clears his throat.

Daisuke: There, thoughts on a match condensed into four short sentences. Mr. Wilson...

That last part is aimed directly at the camera, along with two more words, part prophecy, part command:

Daisuke: No Mercy...

And that, as they say, is that. Daisuke spins on his heel and glides off down the corridor, leaving Toby Bostock uselessly holding an arm up. In the end he shrugs and makes a gesture indicating that recording should stop, and he gets back to his DS, drawing breath to shout...

And Cut.

[size0]* Toby's inner anime nerd would love nothing more than to be called Bostock-san. Daisuke makes a point of calling him "Mister," always.
