El Hijo Del O'Brien
[ * * * ]
We last left the masked O’Brien on a deck, doing one of his new favorite pastimes. We now open to find him in a basement standing in front of a table with a knife in hand. As the camera pans closer to our masked friend we see he is bringing the knife down upon a dead fish, decapitating the head from the body. He then proceeds to scale the remaining body of the fish. Jorge notices the camera and begins shaking his head no.

JO: Now I know what you are thinking and the answer is no.

Jorge sticks the knife into the table vertically.

JO: These fish are not the ones I caught earlier, in fact I just picked these up at my local Wal-Mart. I am a catch and release type of guy, so you never have to worry about me abusing fish.

Jorge turns around and resumes the scaling of his fish.

JO: I am glad you could all join me once again, there has been some things that have been on my chest about my opponents I’ve been wanting to say for while now, and they just keep adding more and more I can’t hold it in anymore. I mean Shaun alone is bad enough talking all his high talk of him being the best, and although I do not recall the match myself but my father says I have a pin fall over him back at Blessed and Forsaken, and my dad never lies. So the way I see it as of now, I have a victory over him, what is stopping me from getting another one?

Jorge stops and thinks for a second before continuing.

JO: Well we better assume Harrison is what may be stopping me from getting a win over Shaun. He’s big, strong, and look at how much he’s done without Blake by his side…….

Although he is wearing a mask, we know Jorge is smiling by this point.

JO: Come on now Harrison, you a “big dog?” You are a lackey for Blake, and the rest of SS&S. You are their muscle, the one that does the so called dirty work. What accomplishments have you succeeded doing without their assistance in first getting you there, and second helping you achieve it. Face it your best asset is being Blake Orange’s luggage carrier.

Jorge takes a deep breath.

JO: Nothing personal against you my friend, but if you’re going to talk your game as to being so high, make sure you are actually in the ranks your distorted mind is telling you, you are in. Although I can say you must be making some impact on me for I keep having this dream about you.

Jorge chuckles.

JO: Yeah I keep dreaming that you are jumping down off of something to crush me, and I simply catch you and turn it into a bearhug…. I know weird right?

Silence fills the room for a few brief seconds as Jorge begins thinking about the dream and what it may mean or what significance it could possibly have.

JO: Harrison I understand you work for my father, and I am sorry if his feelings are a little stronger for his son than they are for you. I’ll try and keep that in mind when I am pounding your face in with my feet but truth is, as my father would say, when we are out there business is business.

Jorge tilts his head to the side.

JO: I feel as though I am forgetting something.

As though a light goes off in his head Hijo throws his arms in the air.

JO: OH YEAH! How could I forget the champ himself, Ash Koopa. Now there is a true athlete, a man who has earned what he has in this company. I remember as though it was yesterday him and my father went head to head, he gave my dad a good run for his money too. In the end the inevitable happened and my dad overcame the odds and won the match. Although I do recall my father telling me it was one of the hardest matches he has ever been in. One thing I did notice however is my father is at the top, only thing he needs to do is cash in his Grand Prix Title, and Ash….. Well Ash is still where he was when he faced my father. Ash is still holding the FSC. He hasn’t gone after anything more prestigious, no he stays right here, right in the same exact spot as when he faced my father. It isn’t that I am a small fish in a big pond, Ash. It’s you are a big fish in a little pond. How hard is it for a shark to take out a few 8 lbs largemouth bass? All I am saying is my father, Drake, and other people have moved to bigger goals, what’s your excuse?

Jorge actually makes a valid point……..

JO: Don’t tell me, let me guess.

Jorge throws on his best Ash Koopa impression.

JO: ”This is my title, I have worked so hard to get it. I love it, feed it, dry hump it, I freaking sleep with it and someday hope to have little Fighting Spirit Koopa’s with it. Jorge you are a moron and couldn’t comprehend that I am just not good enough to go after more prestigious titles, and how afraid I am of facing your father again, so I shall take my revenge out on you!”

and the transformation back to Jorge happens right before our eyes.

JO: Did I nail it? Did I read your mind, Ash? That is something down the line of what you’d say right? Yeah I figured as much. At least I saved you another interview explaining yourself. 

Ash you may not understand how I am in your league. You may not understand how I have earned my right for a shot at that title, but you’ll soon find out. Actions speak louder than words, Ash and when you are left once again leaving the arena in the shape my father left you at Deadlock that night he faced you, you’ll understand that I am an O’Brien. You want revenge on my father, come and take it.

Jorge shrugs and lets out a small chuckle.

JO: It seems as though all of you have come up with your own ways to cope with the fact you’ll be facing me and how you already have me beat all so easily. Whether it is Shaun saying I’ve never tapped anyone out, although last time I checked one of my finishing moves is a modified Camel Clutch, or its Harrison’s “lighting doesn’t strike in the same place twice”, because that will prevent me from winning and everything, or last, and my favorite, Ash stating I am a small fish in a big pond, when he is the big fish that never moved on, the fact of the matter is, this match is not set in stone. The best man will leave the arena the FSC. I am not coming up with excuses on why you all can’t beat me, in fact you are all capable of doing so, but if it happens, I won’t need excuses.

Scene.
