*THE FOLLOWING TAKES PLACE MONDAY MORNING* The melodic strumming on the strings of a ukulele grace ring in our ears as the scene blurs in, the lense adjusts and the first sight our eyes are graced with are a silver steel boom box hanging off a crampon hook in a construction yard. The speaker is blown so the treble is rather high, making it sound very old fashion, as if it was coming out of some kind of whacky invention called a Record Player. The camera adjusts and turns, catching Toby Bostock running through the construction yard dodging and weaving through the early morning crowd of construction workers who were all circled around on area. The camera man is close behind, catching the bewildered eyes of construction workers who couldn't help but stare in wonder as to how the scene before them played out. Toby reaches the center of the ring of workers, the collection of hard hats, tank tops and beer bellies makes a path for the camera whose sights set on the main event before them all. Toby: "Dear God..." Several workers pay no mind to the cameras, they're busy hammering away at the cement blocking. In the center of the cement blocking is a pair of shoulders and a dangling head. The head is covered in dry cement, chunky and blocks of it dangling from every strand of his once long flowing hair. Neo Carner is wearing a pair of goggles as cement chips blast all over the place as the workers fervently pound away at the cement grave. Toby: "Neo! Are you okay!?" Neo: "..." Neo is unresponsive, not even lifting his head, the workers continued their task diligently. Toby: "Neo?" Neo: "..." Still nothing, Toby looks at the camera with a concerned glimmer in his eyes. Was Neo still alive? What could have been possibly running through his mind right now? The assualt of the Brotherhood had left Neo speechless!? Had they finally found the one thing that acted as the padlock to the Residence of Presence's mouth!? Toby: "Come on Neo...Say something? How are you feeling? Are you injured? Did you swallow some cement!?" Neo looks up at Toby, through the scratches of the safety goggles Neo's eyes were half open a certain glaze was over them. A deep seed had been planted in those eyes on the night of Revolt, and behind those eyes laid something terrible. Neo's lip quivers, opening a bit and then closed. Another swing of the hammer and a large fissure cracks down the center of the grave encasing. Neo's arms shake, as the cement structure around him is slowly whittled down to beyond his sternum. Toby looks at one of the workers. Toby: "Has he said anything at all?" A slightly leaner worker shakes his head, a head of greasy black hair and a small goateee. The man was of a olive complexion. Worker: "No. He's just sat there, quietly. We've tried talking to him, but he just sits there quietly." Toby: "What time did you guys find him?" The worker looks up, drumming his fingers against his lips. Worker: "About an hour ago. Work starts at 5am, and we were all surprised to find a man just sitting here. It's a wonder how he got himself up this high in the hole. My guess is he pressed himself up against that pole and pushed himself up with his legs. He almost got out, but there's not many places he could go. We found this on his mouth when we got here." The worker lifts his hand to one of his fellow construction buddies who walks over with a piece of duct tape with a key stuck in the middle of it. Worker: "We took it off of him....we don't know what the key is for. You think it means something?" Toby looks at the man. Toby: "Yeah. They're the keys to the hand cuffs." Worker: "Hand cuffs?" Toby nods. Toby: "Yeah he's hand cuffed. We would have come here last night, but it took us all morning driving from construction yard to construction yard until you guys finally called us." The man looks at Neo, looking at the positioning of his arms that are bound behind him. Worker: "Geez...Who would do such a thing?" Toby frowns. Toby: "Another wrestler..." The worker gets a bizarre look on his face. Worker: "Wrestler? Don't those guys pretend to hit each other with chairs and sit on each others faces?" Toby scoffs, clenching his fist at his waist and looks a little bothered by the mans simple and wrongful analysis of wrestling. Toby: "Of course not! This was a serious personal matter! The other guy was getting revenge and...God why am I even trying to explain it." Neo: "ergh..." Toby wheels himself around, turning to see Neo's head raised and looking at Toby and the rest of the crew behind him. Toby: "Neo!? Neo! Are you okay!?" Neo doesn't blink, his lips hung low in an indifference. Neo: "Super..." Toby: "Super? Super what? Man? You want us to get Superman!? I don't think we ca-" Neo's left eye twitches, a bizarre grin crossing his face. Neo: "Oh I'm fine Toby. I'm all dressed up with nowhere to go. Walkin' with a dead man over my shoulder. But don't concern yourself with me! You should be interviewing! Yes. Interviewing. You should go to those dead men...yes. You go to them and tell them I'm coming back. Snake. Cruz. Rufus. Roy. James. Dexter. Krychek. Oh, I'll be fine! I'm just getting ready for the party." Toby laughs nervously. Toby: "Party?" Neo raises both of his eyebrows. Neo: "Oh? Didn't you know? There's a party! It's being held in their honor!" Toby: "...You o..kay Neo?" Toby says taking a step back. Neo begins to speak with a rhythm in his voice, a cold dead rhythm. Neo: "Waiting for an invitation to arrive...Goin' to a party where no one's still alive. I was struck by lighting walkin' down the street. I was hit by something last night in my sleep...It's a dead man's party! Who could ask for more? Everybody's comin', leave your body at the door. Leave your body and soul at the door . . .Don't run away! it's only me! It's only me...It's only me...it's only me...it's only me. It's only me. Don't be afraid..of what you can't see...its only me." Neo grits his teeth, his brows eye as a deranged look crosses his eyes. An uneasy feeling crosses all the workers spectating when one of them pipes in. Worker: "I love Oingo Boingo." The scene fades.
