No fireplace, no comfy chair, no bookshelf lined with encyclopaedia’s, not even anything remotely close to “Four Seasons” (except on my computer, which yes is being played right now), none of that. Just Sadovsky sitting on his bench with a book. It doesn’t even look like a big book, just a paperback. Great moments in literature my ass. Sadovsky, who isn’t wearing a housecoat, looks up at the camera as though having expected it to be there. Sadovsky: So, Keith Williams, you are instigating history, are you not? Okay, okay, Kimberly’s in a French maid’s outfit, there! Had to have some form of class here. But she doesn’t look entirely thrilled back there at the table spinning the feather duster between her fingertips as she looks down reading off her own clipboard just letting the Russian do his own thing. Sadovsky: We are going to learn about someone, Keith Williams, someone you might not find terribly interesting. But, it will be fun jumping back to present times as I go. Sadovsky straightens himself out as he begins to put into his own words the pages of the book in his hand. Sadovsky: During Winter War, Russian troops pounded down upon Finland. The Finnish people held tight to victory believing it to be only way out. Just as you do, Keith Williams. Hey, okay, now I’m getting the whole past to present transition thing here. What I’m not getting is why Kimberly is dressed the way she is. Her idea perhaps? As I said it does add a little class. Sadovsky: You mentioned past encounter with us where you came out “on top”, as you had put it. I do remember fighting you, Keith Williams, but I do not remember decisive winner being named. It was lumberjack match and if memory does serve correctly, it ended when a man came down hitting you with weapon. I believe that man was Ash Koopa. A low little smirk. Irony? Or just a big coincidental fact? Either way, Sadovsky continues on with the story but leaps to a new area. Sadovsky: This man never apologized for any of the acts he had committed, including Katyn wood massacre, though he may have regretted it. Keith Williams, Yep, here we go again and here goes Kimberly, looks like she’s bored right now as she rises up figuring she might as well put the duster to good use, seeing as Sadovsky will probably be a while himself here. Sadovsky: You seem like man who would never apologize for things he has committed in ring, including massacre that took place few days ago. I will admit, it was part my fault for temporarily letting guard down and overlook how you would have felt following your elimination. Emotions are not my thing so it was quite easy for me to overlook biggest detail in possible match outcome. Had I recognized your desire, things might be different right now. Perhaps I would be standing here reading to Jenny on her rematch. Not something Sadovsky gives himself enough time to think about, the Russian looks back down at his book and continues reading. Sadovsky: This man was responsible for signing pact between Russia and Germany in 1941, it lasted until…well, you should know rest of story there. It is much like yourself and Clay Krueger, you have aligned yourself together today, but tomorrow, as past might dictate, you may be at eachothers throats once again. The one thing that holds you together, are tag team titles. After losing them you were nothing as team. Yet unlike you, when things were at worse, this man risked life and limb to set things right. You sit there with gold and dream of better gold. You have no goal to better team, only yourself. I honestly do not care how you conduct yourself, but it is only matter of time until your team breaks apart and what will be results? Disastrous? A slight shrug from Sadovsky as Kimberly looks over her shoulder, gripping hold of the duster while using the same hand’s index finger to push her glasses back up before resuming her time wasting activity. Sadovsky: Almost thirty years after being expelled from Presidium, this man was allowed back into Communist party. Is there anything here that has to do with you? Sadovsky closes his eyes and shakes his head. Sadovsky: No, nothing. Other than fact that you might be able to compare such instance with your reunion of partner. Mainly due in course to fact that two years after this his career, and story, ended. Sadovsky closes the book placing it to his side. Sadovsky: Do you know who the story was about, Keith Williams? The story of the man twice betrayed and often ridiculed? The man who risked his own life to put an end to one of world’s biggest wars? The man who stood by all decisions in his life no matter the consequences of actions? The man who is while at same time is not like you? His name was Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Molotov, and his revenge shall be felt this weekend. Fade |
