What it is.

The scene opens in what looks like another Big Boys Barbecue joint. All the same flair on the walls as the other places. The boisterous background commotion and noise from the other customers. Sitting at the table in the foreground, seated from left to right, are "Big" Bob DeFarma, "Big Country" Rick Nuller, and Bob's daughter, Nikki DeFarma.

Big Country: I'm glad you could make it out here, Nikki.
Nikki DeFarma: Oh, the pleasure's all mine, Uncle Rick.
"Big" Bob DeFarma: You got somebody to fill in for you, I gather?
Nikki DeFarma: Don't you worry, daddy. Everything's under control.

Rick looks between father and daughter with a smile. Bob takes a swig from his beer.

"Big" Bob DeFarma: Good. Good. So Rick, you see that new Bo-Jack feller?
Big Country: Sure did.

Bob waits for him to continue speaking but that's all he says.

"Big" Bob DeFarma: Could be a Big Boy just like you and me were.

Nikki responds enthusiastically.

Nikki DeFarma: Oh, yeah! That'd be fun, wouldn't it, Uncle Rick?

Rick takes a sip of his water.

Big Country: Yeah, I suppose that'd be somethin'.

Just then, a waitress comes around wearing a T-shirt and overalls just like the three of them, and she delivers their meals. They each turn around with a smile and a "thank you", then turn back to face the other members of the table. Rick holds out his hands.

Big Country: Well, le's pray.

The three close their eyes and bow their heads, holding hands in solemnity.

Big Country: Lord, I pray over the actions of the Brotherhood agains' Neo Carner, that Neo Carner's body can heal from his persecution, an' that both parties can discover that violence is not the solution to our problems. Yet I pray that, out a' sport, we can continue to beat on each other between the openin' an' closin' bell, when it is done with the guidance of established rules.

Bob's brow drops slightly.

Big Country: I pray for Snake, who had the gall to side with the Brotherhood an' turn on his former partner. I pray that he at least understands what he signed up for, an' what his involvement with the Brotherhood means.

I pray for Hollywood Chainsaw Massacre, Lord, that they do not succumb to the same materialistic ends as they did during their last title reign. The fact that it grieved Clay's spirit to part with the title for as long as he did is testament to how obsessed he had become with championship. Let it not overwhelm him again, for as things go in this business he will lose it again some day.

Bob now opens his eyes and glares at Rick, who continues to pray.

Big Country: I pray for continued professionalism amongst my opponents-turned-allies in this week's match -- Max Rowley an' Rufus Harlowe -- as we square off against Anna, Blink an' Catherine under unknown stipulations. I pray that they, too, can remain professional throughout our encounters.

I pray for Havok as he selects the stipulations for Sunday night, that his choices are entertainin', yet humane to the participants.

I pray for Terry Cane as he struggles to catch a win in FIW. He's worked so hard, Lord, an' it's my belief that he's overdue for a successful encounter. I pray that he can remain strong-willed despite his record.

Bob looks over at Nikki, who's head is still bowed down in prayer, then back at Rick.

Big Country: An' finally, Lord, thank you for this meal which we are about to partake in, which keeps us satiated, an' I pray that others who are not as fortunate can be so blessed as we are this evenin'. Amen.
Nikki DeFarma: Amen!
"Big" Bob DeFarma: ...Amen.

The three release hands as Rick and Nikki look up and smile.

Big Country: Good, le's eat.

Rick and Nikki then begin to eat their meals. Bob, however, continues to stare at Rick inquisitively.

"Big" Bob DeFarma: Got something on your mind, Rick?
Big Country: Nope.

Rick promptly stuffs a piece of food into his mouth with his fork. Bob continues to stare for a moment, then finally relents and begins to take his own plate to town. And right there, the scene fades.
