Love dump. The scene fades in and opens in a small, hotel room. Sat directly in front of the camera is Ash Koopa, clutching the Grand Prix Championship to his lap. Except for the furniture, the room is bare; not a single picture on the wall. The curtains are drawn, hiding the window and giving no view of the outside world. The same could be said of Ash, as his features appear tired and drawn, whilst he is only wearing a pair of black shorts - bare like the room. Ash: "Interesting week I've had, right?" A slight smile cracks across his face; an ironic one. Ash: "First, Havok's Wheel of Stupid Gimmicks puts me in a match that involves thumbtacks. Something, I have to admit, which is a career first for me. Even with nearly seventeen years of wrestling to my name, I can still pull something new out of the bag. And if I actually bother to look every now and then, I can still pull thumbtacks out of my skin. But even that - something new, something fresh and something so very painful - doesn't top what happened directly after the match was done. Oh no, not at all.." Still with the ironic smile on his face, Ash lets out a sarcastic laugh - just to really compliment the tone of his voice. Ash: "It turns out that, despite my intentions on doing this properly and letting Jenny Chennault know about my impending shot at the Dual Crown, and allowing her do it on her terms, was all for nothing. I asked for one simple thing; a straight up one-on-one match. I didn't care what stipulation was applied, just so long as it was Ash Koopa versus Jenny Chennault for the Dual Crown Championship at Summer of Sin. Jenny agreed, no problem. But Keith Williams didn't like that I was, as he put it, getting in his business. Same for Sadovsky. So Keith comes along with his steel chair and lets the world know he's upset." A sneer creeps onto Ash's face. Ash: "He interupts a main event Championship match." Taking a deep breath, Ash simply continues to stare into the camera. Ash: "Hits the challenger with a chair." Another deep breath. Ash: "He hits the Champion with the same chair." Shaking his head, Ash looks to the floor and draws yet another deep breath. Ash: "And then he hits me with the chair, and I wasn't even involved in the match. I was commentating. I was calling the action. Calling it like I see it. And I'll do it again now, Keith. The world and it's mother knows that I'm not happy with what you did two weeks ago, but now, I'm fuming. Furious." Leaning forward from his seated position, Ash's eyes narrow as he gets closer to the camera. Ash: "I'm angry, Keith. Angry that you're not being punished. I'm angry that Tanaka is actually giving you what you want; a shot at the Dual Crown. Provided, that is, you make it past this Sunday. You're in the ring with two very big, very pissed off individuals who want to tear a chunk out of you. I don't care too much about getting in the ring with Jenny first at Summer of Sin; I just want to get my hands on you and hurt you before I get to the Dual Crown. Jenny's laid claim to taking me out before the end of the month. I'm going to do the same to you. Put you out of commission before you can get to Summer of Sin and take away the one thing you want most right now." Despite the eyes being narrowed, a smirk - a sadistic smirk - breaks across Ash's face. Ash: "I've tasted blood recently, Keith. My blood. I've been hit with steel chairs. And I've been thrown onto thumbtacks. I'm a little more unbalanced - physically, violently - than I have been in recent memory. You'll suffer as a result. And, unfortunately, so will Pyotr.." Moving back to a more upright position, Ash's expression softens as he mentions Pyotr's name. Ash: "Sadovsky, this is nothing personal. You and me, we're fine for now. We've had our past experiences, but I think we have some mutual respect. Sunday, I'm just going to swing at anything that comes in my vicinity and seeing as you're in the match, you're going to get hit. I've been saying this over the last couple of weeks, but this Sunday is going to be messy. I imagine there is going to be bloodloss and bodies strewn across the ring, and I fully intend to be the one standing tall at the end of it all. As the winner of the match? Maybe. But definitely victorious." He begins nodding his head. Ash: "There may be four nations in this war, but I promise you that at the end of it all, it'll be the KoopaManiacs who stand tall with the Dual Crown Championship to their name." With that said, Ash simply gets to his feet and walks out of the shot. At the sound of a door closing, the scene promptly fades to black and comes to an end. [end] |
