We here at FIW Magazine HQ have received the following letter from FIW's resident Artist. We are transcribing it verbatim, we could not include the fancy lion stationary it was printed on due to restraints of our stupid editor. -Ed. Note: HEY!

To Whom it may concern:
I apologize for those of you out there upset that you do not hear my melodious voice for this but I am afraid that I am currently indisposed, on an artistic voyage of discovery.
For you see this is my first foray into the unknown territory of FIW Pay Per View Events, and I want to give the world a spectacle worthy to be housed in the Louvre. Unfortunately with the opponents that have been selected for me, I can only hope that it is as memorable as my award winning unveiling, when I first came into your lives.
Now, I suppose this was being filmed I believe this is where I am expected to run down my opponents for Summer of Sin. Mundane and cliched for sure, but it's apparently mandatory in this situation.
I suppose I should start with the man everyone is asking me about, and can't seem to open his mouth without embarrassing himself. Terrance Cane, and if any of you out there are still wondering yes I've seen his latest promotion. I give it 1 star, the production values were terrible, the plot was nonexistent, and the direction makes Uwe Boll look like Alfred Hitchcock... and that's not even talking about the star.
That was of course a joke.
But I only joke out of disinterest. But I found myself asking the same question you did when I looked at the card Terrance. How many times must we dance to the sound of your failure. I must say it's happened twice which is two times too many for my liking.
You can claim that you "kicked my teeth down my throat" but the fact remains, that I not only did the same to you in our first meeting... but I made a grander vision of it, as I walked away victorious.
Now Terrance, you may try and hide behind our last encounter with the lame excuse that it ended in a no contest and neither of us can truly call ourselves winners... but the fact is I have already proven that I can beat you.... while you have failed to prove that you can beat anyone at all.
So please raise your glass and feast upon the feast that your banal existence has brought you, and live in your fantasy world where the Incognito, the Alliterate, and the Artist quake in fear at the mere mention of your name.
While the rest of us living in the real world will continue to think of you as the joke you are.
Now as you know Chris Cage will be in my corner come Summer of Sin, and the reason is quite simple so you can look him in the eye and realize first hand at what you did to him. Now don't get me wrong I've inflicted terrible damage to my opponents in the past, some far worse then what you did to the already recovering Cage. But the difference is, the injuries I inflicted all happened bell to bell, in a sanctioned match. Two things that you apparently don't believe in... and I really hope when you look at Cage on the outside with his crutches, that you feel real good about yourself. Because it proves to the world that you are an animal and have no business being in the wrestling industry.
I implore Randy Reid and El Valiente to watch their back, after all. He wasn't even involved in the match he attacked Chris Cage in. Chris Cage didn't even attempt a violent act on him. Do not trust Terrance Cane, because the man has no honor, or dignity. He could turn on you for proclaiming yourself outstanding or because you even believe in honor. After all, Chris Cage is both an honorable man, and a little cocky.
Speaking of Reid and Valiente. I suppose I should move onto them lest they think they have been forgotten by time itself.
Randy Reid finds himself in a similar situation as Terrance. His win and loss ratio is quite sharply on the wrong side. Whether that is by his own failings or measly luck, Who am I to say? After all, he managed to find himself into this match while those with superior numbers find themselves elsewhere, maybe management needed a warm body, or perhaps know that Randy is capable of far greater feats then he's shown. Whatever the case, the man is a skilled in the technical aspects of the art, and if nothing else provide a fun distraction from the monotony, as he is the wild-card in the match as he is the only person that I have not shared a ring with in the match.
Now, El Valiente we faced off against each other in my unveiling. After all, who can forget when myself and the other Leo in the match caught him and tossed him to the outside. Granted, if my memory serves me that was about the extent of our interaction. Despite the fact that he is a stay between the lines luchador, he is still quite skilled. In fact I would hazard a guess that despite never wrestling Randy Reid, or Terrance Cane's delusions of grandeur that Valiente will be the man to give me the most trouble between the ropes.
But lets talk about an often overlooked aspect of any match. The event is labeled as Summer of Sin, and believe it or not, I am a man that is well versed in sins. After all, you don't spend your life growing up on the streets of Sin City, Nevada without at least a glancing blow of every single one of the deadly sins in a 3 block radius. Why is this important? Well unless my powers of deduction are flawed, given the overall style the pay per view graphics have taken, the four of us are going to doing our avant-garde piece live in MY TOWN. so if you are one of the subscribers to Home Field advantage, it goes to pullus leo.
Now I have wasted enough time on this meaningless exercise, and I must get back to my artistic retreat.
"Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon 'em."

I am a bit behind in my responses. I had begun preparations for a second promotional video in the lead up to my match with Koopa against Chennault and Valiente, but my attention was pulled in more important directions. But I feel the questions I had intended to pose remain pertinent enough to ask.
Lemmy -- where's the trust? I know you know I am an intelligent man -- do you really think I would have allowed Carner to die? Do you really think I didn't know that by not weighing down his legs that he had the ability to climb out and save himself? Or that we were not in control of how much we put in the hole, on the outside chance he wasn't able to bring it upon himself to save his own hide?
Have faith in my superior intellect, Lemmy. Nothing happens that truely surprises me. Not even Carner's attack on me, which was far from as controlled as mine. I spoke on escalation, so clearly I was anticipating something -- granted even the lowest intellects could have foreseen something happening.
While no one could truly have foreseen the vehicular manslaughter attempt, it is not a stretch of the imagination that the emotionally driven Carner would not only not comprehend how safe he really was in my hands but escalate recklessly without regard for human safety.
Sounds hypocritical? Sounds that way, especially considering my attempt to bury him in cement... ...until you understand who I am. Understand even just my year in this company. I have always been presented to the audience as calm, cool, and collected. Rarely has my ire ever been drawn. While murder can be accomplished by a calm, cool, and collected individual, even the lesser minds must realize that his murder or even disfigurement to the point he cannot compete would do me no good.
Just consider why this "feud" exists. It is because Neo Carner beat me cleanly. Which is all well and good, I still commend him for it. The problem is to accomplish my ultimate goal, I need to beat Neo Carner. So now if he were dead or disfigured to the point he were unable to compete, I could not possibly avenge the loss and it would forever hang over me while I march along my path of destruction.
Understanding this, which many do not, one can very easily ascertain that my intent was never to kill or seriously disfigure Carner. Just another instance of my superior intellect in comparison to his, not that we need more proof.
Carner's attack, however, utilized moving metal at high speeds towards me with but a door separating us. A car wreck is a mostly unpredictable occurrence. Had he hit in just the right manner, a jagged piece of the door could easily have sliced through a jugular vein. The breaking glass could have lodged itself in an eye and caused permanent vision loss.
Say what you will about my attack, at worst he may have suffered relatively minor chemical burns from the lye in the cement. I knew of the ways my attack could end, none of which allowed for Carner to come to serious harm. Carner's attack was unpredictable, and could have caused the death of at least two of us.
But the real reason for all of this is to speak to Daisuke Tanaka. The weeks going into a pay-per-view are undoubtedly busier for the operators of a federation due to an increase in need for proper advertisements, set-ups and other preparations or troubles that will arise. As such I have chosen not to seek out the physical form of Mister Tanaka.
First of all, I appreciate Mister Tanaka's acknowledgement of my capabilities by putting the "UIC" on the line in Mister Carner and I's contest -- despite my feelings that Carner, a ‘transistionary’ Champion at best, has not truly earned his right at another Championship. However, there is a problem.
I am sure you have followed the events between Carner and myself and I do not doubt you can see that our "feud" has reached a boiling point, a point in time where too many rules may only impede and serve to end the match in a disqualification -- something which I implore you to not allow the possibility of, if only because this is the return match for this Championship and to hold it up or award it because of a disqualification would taint the reputation that has been built for it over the years.
Since the incident with the car and sand, I have spent much time thinking on how the battle between Carner and myself may end in such a way as to put pause on our differences. Something where the loser of the confrontation must bid their time before striking again and not simply continue on the next edition of ReVolt -- something where the end is final and perhaps embarrassing enough, more so than just the failure to capture the Championship or the loss at the hands of the other.
I propose an 'Entombment Match' in honor of the desert atmosphere of the event and in recognition of the attacks mounted by myself and Carner. More or less a 'buried alive' match, but given a unique name to sate the ADD ridden audience.
I await your response, Tanaka. Cordially, Krychek

- An Open Letter to Neo Carner and Rurik Krychek.
-
Dear Messrs. Carner and Krychek, I have been considering the proposal of Mr. Krychek, and I am afraid to say that I am not inclined to allow it. While presuming to tell me how to run my business, Mr. Krychek makes some valid points. I can accept that some times, the rules are relaxed or changed to reflect some of the extenuating circumstances of a bout. I can accept that it makes for some intriguing symbolism. However, I cannot accept this proposal.
This "Entombment Match" that has been proposed has no basis in Professional Wrestling. A decision will not be rendered in the accepted manners of Pinfall, Submission or Knock Out. There will likely be little to no actual grappling occurring during this bout. There will certainly be no professionalism shown by either competitor, and it is for these reasons that I cannot allow the winner of this "Entombment Match" be crowned the Undisputed International Champion.
I therefore leave you two gentlemen with a choice: You may have your Championship Bout, or you may have your "Entombment Match." You must choose between your desire for the financial rewards and prestige of the title and your hatred of your opponent. Either answer would make for a compelling match and would fully deserve its place as the semi final on Pay Per View. I await your responses with interest.
Your Sincerely,
田仲大輔 [Tanaka Daisuke]
