We fade in, and we're on a grassy hill somewhere in Las Vegas. The lights are already on bright in the city, but perhaps there is nothing brighter than the smile of the one and only El Valiente~, perched atop the hill like some great heron with a mask and sparkly tights, staring stoically into the distance with that proud smile. His masked visage falls upon the camera, and Valiente boldly WHIRLS his cape around, certainly a proud physical specimen. El V: "My friends...my compatriots! My fellow keepers of justice! El Valiente comes to you on the cusp of a huge opportunity! An opportunity to right wrongs, save the day, and deliver a righteous thrashing on three respected, but very unfortunate fellow guererra!" Guererra of course meaning, warrior, not Juventud. Thank God for that. Valiente starts pacing back and forth on the hill now, sweeping his cape about as he goes. El V: "This match at the Summer of Sin guarantees the mighty El Valiente~ a chance to become the FIW Fighting Spirit Campeonado! How fitting for a master of lucha libre to win a championship that embodies the fighting spirit, the warrior's soul, the very rough and tumble bravery that El Valiente is synonymous with!" Wow, I just want to go out and headbutt bears now that I've listened to him. Perhaps El Valiente is getting the hang of this FIW thing. El V: "But I shall have to overcome three brave warriors to earn that right, amigos! The first, Terry Cane, a man who has come a long way from his mysterious past to be quite successful here. He did have a short bit to say about your Lucha Libre Savior~, and only that my high flying prowess means nothing to his fists. Yes, Senor Cane, your fists are hard and your wits are keen, but however will you be able to strike me with those legendary fists if you cannot keep up with me? Worry about catching me first, senor, then we will see what your fists can do!" El V defiantly shoves a finger at the camera, before whipping his cape back again and resuming his energetic pacing. El V: "The second man is 'Outstanding' Randy Reid. I have not seen or heard much of this man, but it is El Valiente's understanding that he thinks quite highly of himself, so much so that he considers himself...better. Senor Reid, you have proved nothing to El Valiente until you meet and defeat me! As a warrior of the squared circle, I implore you to prove yourself to El Valiente in glorious combat, or keep your foolish mouth closed. Bugs could fly in there, senor." You don't want bugs in your mouth, do you? Thought not. El V finally stops pacing, his feet planted firmly in the ground, his fists at his hips, as he regards the camera with a bold stare. El V: "The last...is Christian Cruz. He is well-spoken, and his breath is minty fresh. Though he is a part of the Brotherhood, following that angry, angry little man, Senor Kryshek and whatever silly little crusade he may be on, El Valiente greatly appreciates what he said about me. Of course, El Valiente does purchase the FIW Magazine, available at bookstores all over the country.." Shameless plug, and you fuck right off. How's he read with that mask on anyway? El V: "And I discovered that Mr. Cruz admitted that El Valiente himself would give him the most trouble between the ropes. You, Senor Cruz, you truly understand the power of Lucha Libre and understand that not even one such as you can withstand it!" At that exact moment he strikes a very heroic pose, which is far too manly to describe here. All I can tell you is, it has made me a better person having witnessed it. El V: "I rule the skies above the squared circle, amigo! And I will inspire and enthrall millions of children and proud parents all over the world on my way to capturing the right to the Fighting Spirit Championship, so that I may lay claim to my first title here in FIW! Quake in fear, evildoers, for El Valiente RIDES AGAIN!" In a FLASH of brilliant blue light, that was clearly CGI-ed mind you, (Krychek, you're not the only one that can use CGI, you prick.) Valiente stands with arms outstretched...and when the light clears...he is gone. Fade. |
