The scene opens up with Toby Bostock entering a restaurant... he seems like he is looking for someone but by the expression on his face you can tell he doesn't see the illusive man... why exactly he's looking for Martin Sheen in a public restaurant is unclear... but he clearly doesn't see the other person he's looking for either, <_< >_> regardless he follows a server and takes a seat at a nearby table

Toby Bostock: "I don't get this guy, he sends me a fancy invitation to meet him here at this exact time and he isn't here."

a few seconds later you hear a somewhat familiar voice.

Monique Raina: "HI TOBY! "

Monique walks into frame as chipper as ever, and sits across the table from Toby

Toby Bostock: "Uh hi, Monique. I wasn't expecting to see you here. Where's Cruz?"

Suddenly you hear a distorted voice coming from Monique's purse

Christian Cruz: "Ignore the woman, Bostock. She is merely the vessel that helps carry my memorandum to the masses. Much like the hackneyed publication was earlier in the week."

Monique quickly reaches into her purse and pulls out what appears to be a walkie talkie from her purse. The camera slides over so the shot only shows Toby and the device

Toby Bostock: "Ok... then Cruz where the hell are you and why aren't you here."

Christian Cruz: "As stated quite clearly in my published missive, I am currently on an artistic retreat, to make sure all of my brushes are rebristled, my hammers are rebalanced, my knives sharpened... and whatever other cliche you wish to use. So I can give FIW... Nay... the world the artistic spectacle it needs at Summer of Sin."

Toby Bostock: "Ok... but why do you need me?"

Christian Cruz: "I don't Bostock. I only summoned you because of the electric eyes that follow you wherever you go. They will transcribe and distribute my words for me."

Toby Bostock: "Ok... so why didn't you commission your own camera."

Christian Cruz: "Are you mad... I don't want your evil boxes to steal my very soul. "

Toby stares confused at the device

Christian Cruz: "that was a joke."

Toby Bostock: "Right..."

Christian Cruz: "Bostock, an artist only gets to do a grand unveiling once, per piece. If I let the unworthy eyes gaze upon my body of work, then there wouldn't be anything left for the show, and all of my planned plans would be for naught. So neigh, I will wait and remain vigilant in my studio until the time is right."

There is silence for a moment... well silence with a slight electric hum but still.

Christian Cruz: "But do not think for a millisecond that because they can not watch me, I am not watching my opponents with all of my eyes."

Toby Bostock: "Then I suppose you've heard the remarks made by your opponents so far?"

Christian Cruz: "I have but I was unaware that my opponents have said anything of note. For one, El Valiente believes that because I said that he would be the greatest challenge in the ring to mean that "I can not withstand the power of Lucha Libre". I still stand by that he will be the person in the ring that I need to worry about. But as I said he is a stay between the lines kind of guy... to be a truly successful artist you have to be willing to accept that the lines are only a way to box you in... and to be truly successful you need to be willing to ignore them when the mood strikes you, or when the art demands it be so. "

static electric hiss of silence

Christian Cruz: "on an unrelated note Bostock, did you know that I have yet to meet a man that can truly successfully pull off lucha libre with a broken ankle."

Toby Bostock: "are you implying you are going to break his ankle?"

Christian Cruz: "Bostock, I imply nothing... but infer from my words what you will. "

Toby Bostock: "You really don't make this easy. You know that?"

Christian Cruz: "Bostock, you have the irritating habits of asking stupid questions, and interrupting me. Do you know that?"

Toby Bostock: "It's been mentioned once or twice."

Christian Cruz: "Now Randy Reid has stayed the course by remaining silent. A strategy that perhaps Terrance Cane should subscribe to. After all, speaking surely isn't doing him any favors. I even tried to help him with this strategy after all I went through all of the trouble to take my comments into a neatly written form in the magazine, as I was under the impression that he never learned to read."

Electric Hiss

Christian Cruz: "But false impressions aside, he did read my missive... and then chose to insult the way that I decided to contact the masses. What exactly is wrong with writing a letter? Letter writing is a lost art form. What with the sudden emergence in society that it is far too much effort to type your and need to save a total of two keystrokes and turn it into ur, not to mention, to too and two being used interchangeably or even worse as simply 2. Societies ills aside. Are you seriously attempting to insult me by the number of fans I have... are you really going there Terrance? Because last I checked those TC shirts aren't exactly flying off the shelves either... unless you are trying to say that they've been ordered at such a high rate they've somehow regressed into a state of prebeing. "

Static

Christian Cruz: "then again I've never been one to look for fans approval, after all an artist is never truly appreciated in his own lifetime. One merely has to look at one of the greatest composers in the history of music Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The man who created such music as "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" which is recognized worldwide to this day, died a penniless pauper and was buried unceremoniously in an unmarked mass grave. "

Static

Christian Cruz: "But there I go again talking about the problems of societies... I do apologize and try to get back on course I mean after all I do seem to have at least one fan out there. This match contains 4 people total and while Randy is still out stalking the aether, Valiente did speak and yet you focused the majority of your time almost entirely on me... and why is that Terrance? You clearly have no respect for art"

Static

Christian Cruz: "it must be my membership into the brotherhood... something that you are quite zealous in your actions against... dare I say it... FANatical. But then you could always just say that your a brotherhood fanatic and not just one of mine... but there are so many people in the brotherhood, I mean there's Rufus Harlowe, Chris Cage, Chris Winters, Black Mage, Ivan Rurik, James Unger, Snake, Rurik Krychek and myself... and that's only mentioning those that have publicly endorsed the brotherhood, and not the members that are out there living in secret. Yet you never seem to mention them... do you? "

there is a few seconds of static

Toby Bostock: "What are you implying now?"

Christian Cruz: "Nothing Bostock... I am but a dreamer... or perhaps merely part of the dream... either way I'm not the only one."

Toby Bostock: "Right... are we done."

Christian Cruz: "Bostock, we've only just begun. After all, I've only commented on Terrance's opening comments and not on the rest of his feeble attempts at wit. After all, clearly Fuzz called the match off not because he lost control of the match up... but because he felt sorry for us. If that is the case then I am stating right now that I want the Referee Fuzz to be fired on the spot due to incompetence. It is not the referees job to feel sorry for the competitors, it is to count the pinfall, call the submission, or otherwise enforce the rules... and if he is so distraught when one member of a tag team is legally on the apron, and two of the competitors or equally trading blows in the corner... well what the hell is he going to do if there was a real problem?"

static

Christian Cruz: "As for me leaving with my tail between my legs, Why would I stay? The match was over. That is why I was out there. Not to send some grand message that I am somehow relevant, or that I was better then you. I proved that by beating you the week before. Nor, do I feel the need to attack people after a match like you have a nasty habit of doing. Though I suppose I should thank Rick Nuller for stopping you... even if he was a little late. "

Toby Bostock: "Are you going to?"

Christian Cruz: "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile."

Toby Bostock: "ok..."

Christian Cruz: "Now I could sit here and relist every single thing I said about Terrance in my letter and they'd be just as true today as the day they were put to paper... even without my attempts to explain them to him in simpler terms... because he had response to not a one. But I won't... if the peasants are too cheap to spring for a magazine, why should I recant my prose for free? "

Static

Christian Cruz: "Though the fact that you even insist on continuing this banter as if you have even the slightest chance to win this is rather irritating and pathetic. Being that we are in Las Vegas for Summer of Sin, I decided to check the odds given for our match at all of the locales up and down the strip, and do you know that your odds are universally worse then Randy Reid's. A man with less scruples might think about throwing the match and make off with quite the hoard... "

Toby Bostock: "And you did this from your studio?"

Christian Cruz: "Toby as I stated Las Vegas is my hometown... I have eyes and ears all over... not to mention the fact that I am talking to you live now from my studio and that isn't impeding us at all now is it?"

Toby Bostock: "I suppose not."

Monique Raina: "So did Razey pick up the information for you already?"

Christian Cruz: "Silence woman, this doesn't concern you."

Monique Raina: "Sorry Chris."

Toby Bostock: "Razey?"

Christian Cruz: "That is of no concern to you Bostock, as a matter of fact I am finished... you may leave."

Toby gets up to leave.

Monique Raina: "BYE TOBY! "

Toby Bostock: "Uh... goodbye Monique."

Toby walks of screen... the camera remains on...

Monique Raina: "What about me Chris?"

Christian Cruz: "What you do is of no concern to me woman. As long as you don't distract me from my work I really don't care what you do."

the scene fades as it's no longer interesting
