The scene opens up with everyone's favorite FIW Reporter Toby Bostock, seriously everyone seems to be using him this week. Anyway, Toby is knocking on a hotel door. It opens and Monique Raina steps out from behind it wearing a short red dress

Monique Raina: "Oh, Hi Toby!"
Toby Bostock: "Uh, hi Monique, where's Cruz? Is he going to be talking to me through a damn transceiver this time."
Monique Raina: "No, he's out on the balcony... like, searching for his music... or something"

Monique looks confused for a moment, but then you hear

Christian Cruz: "That's muse, you contemptible wench. I am looking for my muse."
Monique Raina: "Right...that thingy."
Toby Bostock: "Uh so can I come in."
Monique Raina: "Of course Toby he's straight back like I said."

Toby and the invisible cameraman walk through the hotel room, towards the balcony where Cruz is apparently seated. As they pass through the Hotel room you notice that it is in pretty rough shape, and it's more then just the usual disarray of a well used hotel room. For one, the standard pictures that are hung on the wall are face down on the floor with Cruz originals put up in their place, the couch cushions are scattered about the floor in a seemingly random pattern and the couch itself has been tilted up onto one end, for no discernible reason. Toby stares at the couch for a moment before stepping outside seeing Cruz sitting motionless staring out into space

Toby Bostock: "Uh thanks, for agreeing to this interview, and in person to boot."
Christian Cruz: "Bostock, Last week I made myself abundantly clear that I would not appear in person until Summer of Sin, as to preserve my genius for the spectacle that FIW deserved. I was successful in my endeavors was I not?"
Toby Bostock: "I suppose so."
Christian Cruz: "I hope you have learned to never question me again, Bostock."
Toby Bostock: "Do you have anything to say to the Fighting Spirit Champion as the new number one contender."
Christian Cruz: "Bostock, that particular piece is so far into the distance of my periphery of my vision, one can not be sure it exists at all. "
Toby Bostock: "Surely, you must have something to say? I mean He did beat your fellow Brotherhood member, Rufus Harlowe, at Summer of Sin, after all."
Christian Cruz: "Why would that change exactly what I have to say, Bostock?"
Toby Bostock: "Wel-"
Christian Cruz: "Fine, if you insist that I say something... then I suppose I can make an observation if nothing more."
Toby Bostock: "Uh... ok."
Christian Cruz: "Mr. Nuller has proven himself to be quite the versatile wrestler, he has managed to successfully counter the delusions of Max Rowley, find the harmony within the dissonance of Anna, and withstand the absolute raw power of Rufus Harlowe. "

Cruz pauses

Christian Cruz: "But he has yet to be truly tested against someone with the finesse of someone truly skilled in the art of Wrestling. "

Cruz Pauses once more

Christian Cruz: "That is all I am going to say on the matter, Bostock, so it is in your best interest to move on to another subject."
Toby Bostock: "UH ok this week you ar-"
Christian Cruz: "In a six man tag match, what type of uninformed clod do you take me for, Bostock. Get to the point."
Toby Bostock: "Well, you've been pretty silent recently. "
Christian Cruz: "I have been listening for my muse, Bostock, it's louder some weeks then others. It's been deafeningly silent this week however."

Cruz wipes his hair back

Christian Cruz: "I suppose that's what happens when you are considered to be in a welcome back match for a man you've had no dealings with. Against, a group of people who have been dead silent on the subject."

Toby Bostock: "That reminds me Bo-Jack invited everyone on the roster to the Rusty Nail for a free beer."
Christian Cruz: "Tell me Bostock, from our previous encounters what exactly leads you to believe that would be something that I am in anyway interested in."
Toby Bostock: "I just figured I'd tell you."
Christian Cruz: "Thank you, for this critical information. Though I suppose I could use this as inspiration for the piece I am working on."
Toby Bostock: "Piece?"
Christian Cruz: "Yes, it's tentatively titled "The Den of the Unwashed Societal Scum""
Toby Bostock: " ... So Dr. Clay "Chainsaw" Krueger."
Christian Cruz: "Had some less then stellar comments about me. I know, Bostock."
Toby Bostock: "What is your response?"
Christian Cruz: " Best? Worst? Such things are subjective and far too many of the unenlightened like to argue over opinions like these. I am above such minor trivialities."
Toby Bostock: "Of course...."
Christian Cruz: "Though I suppose I can make a few comments, that may help the unenlightened find the way. "

Cruz head bobs left and right in no real particular order scanning the distance as if looking for something

Christian Cruz: "The Four brothers, Snake, Rufus, Krychek and Cruz, all prepared for battle, at Summer of Sin."

Cruz holds up one finger on his right hand

Christian Cruz: "Snake met his demise at the hands of our companies very own Loki, equivalent."

Cruz's right middle finger goes up

Christian Cruz: "Rufus put in a Herculean effort and had the Fighting Spirit Championship well in hand... but then the Moirae throw a twist into their eternal weaving, and he too fell."

Cruz raises his Right ring finger

Christian Cruz: "And the founder and who many consider the leader of the Brotherhood, found himself adding another chapter to his tragedy, when he was unsuccessful in resurrecting a second title into FIW Lore, not to mention his prolonged absence due to injury."

Cruz lowers his right hand and raises his left one with his index protruded.

Christian Cruz: "But the fourth brother, was the only one to come back from the battlefield with Nike's horns blaring behind him. When he successfully beat 3 other men in his attempt to earned his first championship match. Now, some can point out that the labor was not as onerous as slaying the Lernaen Hydra, or Blinding Polyphemus, but even Odysseus started his adventures by feigning lunacy so he didn't have to begin them."
Toby Bostock: "I'll be honest with you I only really understand like half the stuff you say."
Christian Cruz: "I'm talking about myself, Bostock."
Toby Bostock: "That I got..."
Christian Cruz: "I could also go to mention that of all the active members of the Brotherhood who have faced Neo Carner, Cruz is the only man on that list to never have lost to him, AND holds a victory over him as well. "
Toby Bostock: "So..."
Christian Cruz: "These are just simple facts, do with them as you wish. "
Toby Bostock: "If I was defending myself I would bring up James Unger in an insulting matter."
Christian Cruz: "I'm sure you would. But I really don't care, Bostock. I'm not here to be respected, or to be liked by anybody. The only thing of real importance to me is my art. Everything else is just scenery."
Toby Bostock: "Uh... well what about Shaun Wilson?"
Christian Cruz: "It must be his lucky day, because the feeling is mutual."
Toby Bostock: "Shouldn't you be trying to get on the same page for this match?"
Christian Cruz: "As Shaun Wilson put it so eloquently, "There will be no cohesion with us." After all, there is apparently history between Clay and Shaun. Coupled with the aforementioned apathy and Clay's apparent problem with me, possibly stemming from my calling his wife unimportant in my debut... but I called it like I saw it as an unbiased outside observer. There will be no "team" in the traditional sense. "
Toby Bostock: "Uh... you seem way to at ease with that."
Christian Cruz: "Despite being a dreamer I can still see what's plain as day in front of me, Bostock. Though there is always some beauty to be found amidst chaos."
Toby Bostock: "The hell does that mean?"
Christian Cruz: "Toby, quite frankly the last time the lions met there was resounding beauty... the addition of a dragon could just be enough to hold my interest."
Toby Bostock: "The hell does that mean?"
Christian Cruz: "Why don't you attempt to decipher it? Preferably, far away from here, Bostock. As this interview has reached it's conclusion."

And rather suddenly the scene fades
