The scene opens up to a lesser production value than what we've generally come to expect from Krychek. The camera isn't completely still, but then neither is the background as the scenery whips past at whatever the speed limit in Sweden is. Disobeying general public safety tips, Krychek isn't wearing his seat belt in the backseat, turned so that he is instead facing the camera. The behemoth Ivan Rurik is clearly in the driver's seat on the peripheral of the camera's lens. For the sake of noting it, the bandage of Krychek's ear has been removed and it appears to have been a fairly recent development. Krychek: Good evening. Pardon the lack of showmanship this week, our travel schedule wasn't permitting a Crazy Communist News edition. Likewise we were hoping someone else within the match would speak first, but alas I am running low on time to fulfill my contractual obligations and for once Love and Mad Dawg appear to be holding their tongues, while Williams never speaks before the last minute. Why he does this doesn't concern me, but if I were a lesser man I might make a phallic joke. Now see that wasn't even funny. You went too technical on saying "dick joke." Krychek: It is a well known aspect of my personality that I generally only reply to people which presents a problem with this promotional video. So then is there to say? Keith Williams, you promiscuous sexual deviant, you. Uh...caught the herpes yet? It's a half-"I acknowledge this isn't overly funny" tone and half-serious tone. Krychek: Not that it really affects me one way or another nor is it any of my business. I'm merely making a point that considering we have not crossed paths in any meaningful way since you've returned I have nothing to say. You've defeated your cocaine addicted former partner and have since lost to Blink. Those are really the only high points in my opinion. This week is your first real high-profile match back. Meanwhile since making his in-ring return this would be not only Drake Love's second high-profile match back, but it is his second consecutive main event. I'm not saying management has more faith in the return of Love than the return of Williams, but actions do speak louder than words as the saying goes. While we're on the subject of Love, I hope there are plenty of hard feelings over the results of the Drake Love Invitational. That is a fairly mean and petty thing to say, but I wouldn't be myself if I came off as a nice person, now would I? An evil little grin spreads upon Love's face and Krychek puts his foot to the floor on top of a blanket. Upon pushing down the golden handle of the shovel he won for winning the Drake Love Invitational slowly rises into view near the camera. Krychek: While this is a fairly useless and cumbersome item to be lugging around from country to country and explaining to government officials searching my bags why in the world I am carrying with me a golden shovel with my name on it, I had a feeling it would be useful for at least one moment in time. Now Love it's no secret we really don't get along on a personal level I must impress upon you that we ought to try to be civil to each other. Hold back the face-punching style of tags and the passive-aggressive refusal to tag the other and we should be able to feign our way through the match. After all Williams nor Dawg have been on a considerable "roll". And while I have not so subtly mentioned the fourth man in this match, I must inquire... How bad was that week for you, Mad Dawg? Not only did I best you at the Drake Love Invitational, but I then made a mockery out of the four corners match by simply picking up the scraps of your hard work. I acknowledge you and Holburn did the damage, but once again... The despot taps his temple twice. Krychek: The evolved mind conquered the evolved fighters. And dare I say despite Mister Love's lack of evolved mind that I'll still conquer again this week. Our Russian host takes a deep breath and we begin on the final part of this promotional video. Krychek: But before we leave this moment in time I would like to address the upcoming Condemned Fetish match for which I have 'procured' myself the leadership role of one of the teams and the responsibility of assembling the team. And this fact puts me in a difficult position. I am not now nor have I ever been a "people person." In fact I have openly stated I despise the majority of you simply for existing, and don't expect that to change. I despise each and every one of you for little reason other than I may have a psychological condition where I find some reason to hate and wish ill upon everyone's health regardless of sufficient reasoning. The Condemned Fetish is a unique opportunity considering I have the shot at the Dual Crown Championship earlier in the night so I may very well walk into this match both captain and champion vying for a shot at my very own Championship. But before there is even a moderate possibility of winning I must know what I am working with in terms of my team and strategy I should impose upon them to assure that our side comes out victorious before it breaks down from one for all to all for one. And I must have a decent team for this to be a possibility. The Grand Prix Champion of 2010 holds up his right hand and extends a finger for every name he mentions. Krychek: And that is why I am extending my hand to one Drake Love for a partnership that goes a match beyond this ReVolt, but none past Violence Fetish. I extend my hand to Damien Holburn who, although I acknowledge freely he has lost stature in my eyes, is a competent athlete. I extend my hand to Lee Mason, a man I feel could accomplish much under some tutelage of an experienced and accomplished man in this business such as myself. And finally for this go 'round of offers I offer a position to my opposition at Violence Fetish, Christian Cruz. He lowers his hand. Krychek: That is not a complete list of the offers, there are a few things being worked out in the shadows. But I feel that list may very well come as a surprise to many. My opposition at the upcoming pay-per-view. A man I have had no interaction with, and two people I detest and am detested by. This is not a matter of finding friendly face. This isn't a friendly competition on a gaming system, this is for career advancement. The stronger the team is, the stronger the possibility of your winning regardles of who is on your side. You all have one of two options. My team or Seigi Sentai's. Should you choose neither I assume you would be forced onto a team by management as it is required all be present in this match. So you could gamble and know now where you'll be on that night or you can make a decision and come in prepared. The pros and cons are very simple. For one track record in these types of matches. Who knows what Seigi Sentai's track records are. Do you know their track record not only in these multi-man wars in working with people but as leaders? I don't. You don't either. You would only be able to take them on their word at this point. But me? I have a track record. I have led the l33t to the World Tag Team Championships in AWL, I lead a five man Brotherhood team nearly one year ago to victory in a ten man tag against the Counter-Revolution on Halle'volt. Just earlier this year I led the l33t to a victory in a triple threat quatros match at Black And White II, where the odds were two to one in favor of NGIW. My track record is the best you'll ever get and it was all because I am the premier strategist in this industry. Now of course my track record with not caring for any of you and not thinking twice of screwing one of you over should it be in my best interest is as much a matter of public record as my track record of leading a team to victory. But here again lies the difference between siding with myself or siding with Seigi Sentai. You know me. You know whether you can trust me or not... You can't say the same for them. They haven't been here long enough for any one of us to know whether they're as clean as they make themselves out to be or if they're playing each and every one of you. I'm not saying you can trust me, but isn't the enemy you can count on to deceive and forsake you better than the one you have no assurance towards? Well that's...an interesting way to put it. Certainly worth thinking about. Krychek: Is it not better to know you need to watch over your shoulder than to worry and fret over it? And with that the scene comes to a slow fade style close. |
