Blink has paused her jogging for the time being. Jogging for training, training for her upcoming match, a match she aims to win, a win that will award her a title, a title that she can then use as a ticket to get in a nice meal with Nikita. She did tell her when she wins implying that if she doesn't then no such moment shall ever take place. Blink is well on her way to try and live up to her end of this little deal, but Nikita...she didn't limit herself. She just has to survive the match against Anna. Easy-peasy, right? Right?

But we should be focusing on why it is Blink has come to a halt. Why she's standing there looking at a door rather nervously as her index fingers meet at the tips, the digits bending with the amount of pressure she puts behind them. She's nervous the way she stands there, her head tilted downward and a line of blush across her cheeks. Her knees are a little bent and her arms are snug closely to her sides. What is it that's getting this kind of reaction from her?

Changing room F.

Does the letter hold some form of significance to her? No, because her eyes aren't lining the sign on the door. Instead she's just looking at the door proper.

Without realizing it, Blink takes a step forward but when her mind takes back control of her body she slides the foot back away from the door and maintains her timid position. This is some form of hell to her and you know that if Catherine were here she'd be shoving her toward the door telling her to stop just standing around. Life is short, at least when you think of the big picture, the Russians have figured a way to populate the moon. They're going to look at using the tunnel system that's embedded inside of the moon from dormant volcanoes. There's some sort of gel that can be used to make these tunnels inhabitable and it's already out on the market. The only struggle now is getting it there. But even something so close to completion will never be seen to the end in our lifetime. I believe that's what Catherine would mean by telling Blink to hurry the hell up.

Blink takes a step forward, judging by the way she walks it's easy to tell that her mind is fully in control of her movements. She still maintains that posture of nervousness but it doesn't seem to matter.

One step.

Two step.

Three step.

The fourth has her standing in front of the door to changing room F. She knows who's inside, or at least who should be inside. Someone she hurt, or at the very least that hurt mans partner. She knocks quickly and takes a few steps back uncertain which of them will come to the door, if either at all. Blink swallows still afraid of the coming moments. She can't keep it in any longer, it's confession time to either Kamen Ranger or Skull.

Guess who?

It isn't lover boy who answers.

The door swings open and there he stands in all of his grumpy darkness, glowing eyes and all. The scowl is already quite defined on his features and it strengthens when he sees who it is that's standing at his door & knocked on it. He isn't happy to see her, she's the last person on the entire Earth that he wants to see right now. This is an impressive feat, considering how much he doesn't want to see Anna or Hammer & Sickle or a few other people presently.

It had to be her, didn't it? She couldn't stay away and leave them to their business, well, him to his business as the case is right now. It figures that on the week of one of their most important matches in their FIW careers she'd want to talk to him. So that she can do what she's always done, be a distraction, one that's yet to luckily come back to bite them in the ass in the ring.

Out of it...

That remains to be seen.

By the look on what's visible of his face, it looks like he's entertaining the notion of slamming the door shut in her face. One could assume it is for his opinion of her though they'd be missing something that's visible now that the door is open. It is obscured a little but it looks like Skull's set up a make shift head quarters for the Seigi Sentai in their locker room. There are millions of heavy duty wires running every which way and a dozen monitors of varying sizes on, and running some kind of scan or search.

He must have noticed that his little unusual set-up is visible, because he changes his position so that he blocks the view entirely. Why would he make something like this from scratch, wasting precious hours that could be spent on training for this? It's simple, Kamen's still missing and rather than fly back to their head quarters, he's brought the head quarters to them. So he's currently using his would be super computers to try to give him some insight as to where his partner's gone to.

PS: What?

The tone says it all to Blink and the audience; he doesn't want to deal with her. His great dislike of her isn't the major reason for once either, it's his need to find SKR that's providing the fuel. If he wasn't searching for Kamen, he might tolerate her for a short amount of time for his partner's sake. It is a sake that he doesn't have to consider right now, because he's more concerned with finding the person that the sake belongs to.

Blink does notice the setup in the room, well as much as what can be seen from her vantage point. Though it was by complete accident that she saw them as she wasn't doing it intentionally or anything of that nature. So when Skull takes that side step she looks down feeling somewhat guilty over having been lured into looking. Again, not something she meant to do. It's when he snaps at her that she lifts her head back up once again getting that frightened look about her. Blink started this week having the fear of god put into her by Sarah, then things turned around when she was with Nikita being hugged, now she's standing here shivering in place not even knowing what it is she came here for anymore. So that's the price she pays for a plan performed perfectly; the rest of the week she must suffer. Yet if that's the price to pay to make a friend like Nikita happy, Blink will gladly front the money. Even if right now she has none to her name.

Blink: [size0]I-I'm sorry.

Who could ever get mad at a person like that? Huh? Oh...we've already had two this week so far. Almost had a third but Blink had to go and how her devotion.

Blink: [size0]I...

Just on first thought it never mattered to Blink who she would rather tell this to. Basically it was just supposed to be a quick run in, info drop, apology for wasting time, then scurry off. So far she's apologized, so that means the next thing to do is scurry off. But she doesn't because this is a guilt that she can't bear, she has to get it out into the open. So with a bow she cries it out not imagining Skull standing there but someone else. Anyone else.

Blink: I told!

She told? She told what?

Blink: [size0]I told someone what I saw in Kamen Ranger's face.

Wait, saw his face? Waste of time, injury inducer, personality distorter, spy, and now this? Is it Blink's own personal goal to tear those two apart? She remains bowed, with her eyes tightly shut, because she doesn't want Skull to just storm off into his room or down the hall or anywhere. She doesn't want him to reserve these emotions, she wants him to let them out. One way or another she's willing to take the full brunt of it, if not all of it.

There is something of a sigh like noise Skull makes through his nose when he takes a deep exhale. Here it comes, the usual shtick from this woman, she's going to apologize to him for something inane like she always does for everyone. If it's for wasting his time, he's going to be hard pressed not to inform her that she's still wasting it. If anything, she's wasting it more by apologizing to him for wasting it, funny how that sort of thing works.

Too bad such things as humor are alien to him.

She apologizes and he's feeling little more than his stomach turning at the sight of this woman. Everything about her is bothering him, her offensive nature is made all the worse by the horrible mood that he's in right now. That frightened look on her face is only amplifying his anger at her presence, this insincere act she has is annoying. He's met his fair share of loyal servants in his time and none of them were as bothersome as the way she acts...

She told, this gets an arch of an eyebrow from Skull as to what she means. Shame his mask is hiding his eyebrow though the shift in how his mask is positioned on his face is enough to tell us what he's doing. She told what exactly? He's well aware of Emily's designs to have Blink snoop on them for her, why he fed her fake information to give back to Emily...

The moment he hears those last words Blink is uttering his gloved hand finds itself around her throat. His entire body moves with the hoisting her up off her feet, lifting her with the single hand that's around her throat. Roughly her back is slammed against the wall and he more or less pins her down on it, ensuring she isn't going anywhere. The temporarily look of confusion & shock Skull's got is quickly replaced by his familiar scowl, deeper than ever before.

Instinct, this is what made him react the way he did to this news, it was instinct to grab her by the throat & choke her. It was instinct that told him to lift her up off her feet, forcing her into a more uncomfortable position than simply being choked. It was instinct that slammed her against the wall, potentially hurting her and pinning her down so she can't wiggle out as easily. It was instinct that told him to snap her neck in two where they stood.

It's restraint that's holding him back, the cold lifeless control he's usually in possession of. Restraint is what saves Blink from having Skull try to murder her, quite literally and instead hold her down against the wall. The choke is uncomfortable though it's enough for her to breathe ever so slightly, enough for her to talk. The horrifying thought that she's now starting to affect him too is one that crosses his mind and it's one he pushes out of his head.

PS: What do you mean? How did you see it, when? Who did you tell?

Probably it is a good time to worth noting that Skull had given up spying on Blink shortly after the flower shop incident. He had safely determined that Emily Stratfield did not have Super Kamen Ranger captive, and Blink's name was cleared. However, a statement like the one Blink's given is translated to one of declaration of war in Skull's head. She might as well have said we've taken one of your own and we're marching on you, prepare to be defeated.

There is one lingering thought in his head, Skull knows enough about Summer Madison to know she'd never refer to Emily in such a casual fashion. If for no other reason, Emily's probably beaten her into only referring to her in a much higher manner. So he not only thinks she's telling him she saw Kamen last, and unmasked, but that she's told someone else about his face. It’s something that's going to complicate the Seigi Sentai’s situation further.

Another thing worth noting is how bright Skull's eyes are at the moment. There's a usual dull glow to them and they've been known to grow brighter once in a while. This time it's different, this time they are glowing so bright that they both are looking like they're about to go supernova. If the scowl didn't help emphasize it, the eyes are certainly doing the job of letting Blink know this is a dangerous situation she's found herself in.

Blink's arms go limp, because she allows them to. No struggle, no kicking, if she's upset this man to the point where killing her will be the only saving grace or silver lining in this situation then so be it. She does wish though that she could have at least seen him one more time so she could apologize for everything. But she quickly removes that thought out of her mind because it's a regret and Emily despises Blink having those. Fate played the music and Blink danced to it, nothing more. So if this is how it ends...

Reprieve as Blink is dropped to the floor. Perhaps a conscience telling Skull she was indeed moments from death or maybe because she wasn't speaking and he felt that somehow his grip on her throat was in some way keeping her from speaking. In any case, she has no excuse now to not answer his questions. Blink remains in her crumpled heap position down on her knees resting a shoulder against the wall choosing to try and answer from there.

Blink: [size0]He...I wanted to see him. So I removed the mask and saw.

Half the story as she fails to mention how Kamen Ranger allowed her to remove his mask. But if she mentions that part the chances that he'll be confronting his partner in a way far different from other times will be greater. Best to just make it seem she's the only criminal in this action if that's how he sees her to begin with.

Blink: [size0]I only told one person, but I asked them not to tell anyone.

Yes she spoke about the person so casually before and now she's doing it again, so could Emily really not be a consideration? So if it isn't her, then who would it be?

Blink: [size0]I told Lady--

Anna: Blink!

Lady Blink? I don't think she would like that. In fact it took a lot of convincing just to get her to accept being called “Miss. Madison” by the maids of Yakuhara. The interviewer comes forward carrying a microphone in one hand and a near concerning look on the other. She didn't just witness what was going on earlier here, did she? It wouldn't appear that way because she doesn't shoot Skull that kind of look nor does she crouch down to check on Blink's neck making sure she's alright. She just takes her arm and picks her up before pulling her away.

Anna: We had an interview scheduled, don't you remember?

Blink: [size0]I--

Anna: It's alright if you want to mingle with everyone here, but you've also got your professional obligations to follow. Now, stand over here.

She steadies her over to one side before taking a spot next to her in front of the camera crew. Blink is looking back down the hall still feeling a little upset that she wasn't able to finish with Skull.

Anna: I'm standing here with one of the two challengers that will be squaring off against Christian Cruz for the coveted Fighting Spirit Championship. Blink? Blink?

A light slap to the arm has Blink looking back at Anna then it comes to her that yes she promised time for an interview. Her obligations as an employee do come before personal situations so for the time being, Skull will either have to wait or continue whatever it was that involves screens and wires.

Blink: [size0]I'm sorry.

Anna: So what do you think of your match? Your opponents? Your chances? Anything?

Blink: [size0]Tough.

Anna: That...that's it? One word? Is that answering all those questions?

Blink: [size0]Yes.

Anna: Well what about that Cuervo Blanco guy...he seemed upset(?) that he was fighting a woman. Don't get me wrong, he's not like that Sunshine guy...who might as well be unemployed as I don't think anyone would notice. It's like the whole black widow curse or something. Anyone who really bothers going off on little tangents about how women shouldn't wrestle all end up falling into obscurity until, well, they just fade off entirely. Your career has outlasted quite a few of theirs and now you stand on the cusp of becoming a solo champion for the first time and all you can say to my questions is “tough”?

I was hoping she was going somewhere with that. Blink looks down at her feet feeling a little ashamed in her answer, but can you blame her? Not even five minutes ago was she being interrogated violently. You can't blame her for her mind not being in this interview.[/i]

Anna: Tell you what, Blink,

Let's just call this interview off?

Anna: We'll just start

Start?

Anna: With you commenting on Blanco's reaction to facing you. Do you think it's a disrespect thing toward your gender? Do you think that maybe that it's just personal? Or do you think he's looking so forward to facing you in the ring that he's without response?

Blink: [size0]Um...I-I don't...I don't want to assume. I also don't think it will have any effect on the match what I believe he thinks of me. Whatever his reasons, they're his own until he decides to speak them out. I just want to fight the match,

Anna: And win?

Blink: [size0]Lady Nikita and Lady Emily both commanded as such in their own ways. Even Lady Catherine told me I need to try my best the last time I spoke with her.

Anna: How is she?

Blink: [size0]Upset. She's approaching her due date but nothing has really happened yet.

Anna: Huh. Oh, uh, yeah, guess we're starting to get a little off track there. I--

Blink: [size0]Sorry.

Anna: Oh, um, what about Sanchez? Or the champion himself? You haven't really faced him since the fallout of your Dual Crown shot. Which has an open slot again for challenger. Someone that the fans can really get behind because they like them so much. Anyone you can suggest maybe?

Blink: [size0]Lady Emily

She's not finished...though I do like these interruptions as they put something else in the mind first.

Blink: [size0]Told me to focus on this match. Lady Nikita has promised me a reward for winning. Please don't ask anything that would have me possibly disgrace them by losing due to lack of focus.

Then she bows calmly.

Blink: [size0]I apologize for trying to take control of this interview through cen-sor-ship, but Lady Emily wants me training for this match and this match alone.

Anna: Sorry. But it didn't look like you were doing much training when I saw you and--

A sudden gasp from Blink as what Anna speaks is pure truth. She wasn't training. OH, if Emily saw what she was doing... Blink quickly turns away from Anna and begins running down the hall. Does she know that's where her meeting with Skull took place? Will he remind her? Or has he left having heard all he wants to hear?

Blink doesn't speak, she doesn't fight, she doesn't do anything, and she simply is accepting his choke hold on her. He isn't surprised by her letting him choke her, from what he's seen of her she probably thinks this is somehow the right thing to do. Some silly notion that it is the righteous thing to let her life be taken in exchange for the anger and annoyance she's caused him. It's one of the things he hates most about her, her active attempts at making herself a martyr for any cause.

Maybe he's holding her too tightly, and so he opts to toss her to the floor, ensuring that she lives. She's no good to him dead, least at the moment in any case. If he needs to, he can apply other methods to get her to talk, should she continue to have her lips sealed. Anything is on the table now that she's given him a reason to need to get answers out of her, for Kamen's sake, and for his own sake.

The Bad Girl's good intentions make the scowl twitch, he hates being lied to and he's in general a pretty good detector of lies. This one is such a massive one that Blink doesn't even realize how large of one it is that she's fed to the masked man. She doesn't know that one of the few things Skull hammered into SKR since day one was never allow anyone to take off your mask, never allow them to see your face. This lesson's been beaten into Kamen so badly that he'd rather be killed in an attempt to stop somebody from doing it than let them.

So if she took off his mask...

It means he let her.

What is going through that boy's head? He knows that it's dangerous to let anyone take off your mask, to see your face with what it is that they do. Then he lets someone that's been shown to be less than trustworthy, in Skull's opinion, do it. Someone that's been proven to be trying to fish information out of them for that redheaded demon child she calls her mentor. If he didn't think she probably still got a good look, he'd hope that it was dark enough where this was done that it obscured the boy's face a little.

There it is, confirmation on what he feared, she's told somebody, it doesn't even matter if it isn't Emily that she's failed to keep it quiet around. If anybody knows, it's still a danger; her knowing is a danger to everything that Kamen and he are a part of. There's another twitch of the scowl, first she was an annoyance, then a bother, and now she's becoming a full blown hazard to have around. The figurative ice she's standing on in his head is getting thinner and thinner, harder for him to justify her lingering around them.

PS: ...

The champion doesn't get the chance to speak up; Anna showing up prevents that from happening. He watches her help Blink up and move her towards the camera crew, and he considers leaving, going back into his locker room. The thought of being around all these lights and cameras bothers him, he doesn't like this aspect of the job, never has. It's all too noisy and privacy invading for his tastes.

So why does he conitune to stand there, some ways away from them? It's because he's waiting, he isn't done with Blink, and their conversation is going to continue. He doesn't care if he has to sit around and wait for the interview to be done; this is something far too important for him to be chased away by cameras. Blink isn't going to be able to get away from this so easily.

The interview, if you want to call it that, goes on and ends when Blink is reminded she wasn't training for her match. She runs away from the interviewer and cameras, making her way down the hall she came from minutes ago. Skull is not amused when he realizes she's forgotten, seemingly, that he's standing there and they had something going on. Too bad for Blink's training that he's standing in a way that blocks her path down the hall, he's making sure she hears what he has to say.

PS: I want you to know something.

His arms are folding over themselves on his chest and his eyes are glowing not quite as brightly as they were a few minutes ago. Skull's back in control, his emotions are in check and he's taking his time with what he has to tell her. The scowl is closer to where it usually is though it sounds like he's still quite annoyed with her presence. He's never been one for heart to hearts but maybe this is the exception to that.

PS: I don't like you, you're whiny, you're pathetic and you're little more than a dog.

Whoa, blunt, he isn't pulling any punches with his thoughts about the potential new FSC. Skull's voice is seesawing between the dull & lifeless voice he's known for and the one with emotion that he's been using while talking to her. Thankfully his voice is back down to a moderate volume as opposed to the near shouting he was doing earlier. It makes things probably easier on Blink's poor ears.

PS: The only reason I don't rid you of our existence is because you make him happy, happier than I've ever seen him before. When you're around, the fool is an even bigger fool than he usually is, and I'm happy for him. You give him something our job and I never could, a part of life he's never experienced before you came along. This is why, despite thinking his focus could be spent on more productive things, I've been fine with you being with him. If you're important to him like you are, it's all that I need to know.

Equally shocking to his opinion of Blink is what he says next, when he admits that while he doesn't like her personally, he's seen a use for her. There's even a hint of something like amusement in his voice when he talks about how much of a fool Kamen is when she's around. It's vaguely similar to a proud parent talking about their child as they are watching them grow up, and have one of their firsts. It fades when he presses on and he reveals that despite minor protests, he hasn't been as bothered as one might think.

PS: However...the moment your liability to us outweighs the good you do for him, I will eliminate you from our lives.

The glowing eyes that are staring down at the pink haired girl narrow, zeroing in on her when he makes his promise to her. What it means is up for interpretation from those that have heard it. It could mean he'll simply ensure she's cut off from all contact with the Seigi Sentai, and specifically Super Kamen Ranger. It could also mean something far darker & more severe than that, seeing as what he was willing to do to her moments ago.

PS: You should know that your plan isn't going to work. For whatever reason, he isn't upset with you about anything you've done. If anything, you'll insult him when you do what you're intending to do. Don't worry about me telling him what your intentions are either, it isn't my place to make sure he isn't left in the dark about this.

Blink's plan, what plan is that? Is he talking about what she revealed that she intends to do at Cibernetico, should Kamen and she be in the ring together at the same time? How did he find out about that? Oh, right, spying on her, it probably isn't out of the realm of possibility, with how thorough & paranoid he is, that he tapped everything & found out.

Shocking he isn't going to spill the beans to Kamen though.

PS: You should know, a war is coming...When the time comes, if you really care about him, you'll be there by his side for it. He'll need you.

We go from something vague to...something cryptic, not that it is much of a difference. There's something to Skull's face, what's visible of it anyways, when he says what he does to Blink about this subject. It doesn't sound like he's still talking about Cibernetico, it's debatable he's still talking about FIW in general either. Whatever it is, it's got Skull feeling at least the tiniest tinge of something...doubt, worry, fear? His admission that Kamen's going to need Blink doesn't help the small sign of being troubled that's on his features.

PS: That said...when I find him, I will send him to see you.

Skull considers warning her about the game Emily and her are playing with them though he opts to surprisingly be nice to the girl. It might've been by accident, it might've been on purpose but he does let slip that SKR's missing to Blink. Though he does also let her know that he's going to do her a favor by sending his tag team partner her way when he returns. It's a safe bet that she was looking for Kamen when she ended up having this conversation with him.

Okay, this is all the mushy crap he can tolerate for the year.

With nothing left to say, he turns his back on the girl and he strides over to his locker room door. He opens it and he pauses for a moment, glancing back at her, the scowl is still intact on his features. It's a small gesture though it's the only thing he's going to offer to her, it's a nod of the head to wish her farewell. Then he disappears into the jungle of wires & monitors that's in his locker room, closing the door behind him.

Did Blink even catch any of that?

Indeed Blink has been listening, very intently. When has she never listened when someone was speaking to her? Well, on times she may have only listened but remain totally oblivious to certain points. Poor Cyndi, Blink will understand how you feel soon enough. Blink even lets out a small gasp when she hears about Kamen Ranger being gone and is obviously quick to blame herself. As soon as this conversation ends Blink would really want to get out her cell and give his current location a call. But he's a tricky one to track even for Cyndi. That is if Emily has even decided to deploy her for such an action. She would have no personal stake on the mans well being so the chances of the information hound being sent out are quite close to zero. Blink lets out a low sigh trying to keep up with the rest but her mind is far too much on her missing friend. At least she knows he'll be sent to see her when he returns. If he returns. But she doesn't like the idea of him being sent to her, then again she didn't like the idea of intruding in their lives here in the first place. Deep down, what she really wants is—no, her mind's not going there again. It took both Catherine and Alanya a lot of convincing just to bring her back from that pit of despair, she won't allow herself to fall back into it again. Then again if it'll ease both the confusion and pain she's been feeling these past few months then maybe she should consider it.

It's about this time that Phantom Skull has left back into his room, one that Blink is a little uncertain to refer as his locker or changing room. It's just...his room. As soon as she notices this she bows to apologize knowing that unless he has a recording device on the outside of his locker room he won't hear her. Then again with all those wires and screens chances are he just might. And he just might see the redhead coming up from behind Blink.

Emily: You should be sorry, Blink.

The Bad Girl quickly whips around seeing her mentor standing in front of her with arms folded across her chest and green eyes narrowing down on her student.

Blink: I-I'm sorry, Lady Emily.

Emily: Separate apology. So you were wasting your time with someone else. Blink, what was the one order I gave you?

Blink: ...t-to train.

Emily: Train.

Blink stands feeling far more nervously than she did prior to knocking the the door of Seigi Sentai. A door she glances at as though hoping someone will come out but no one will so her eyes drop to the floor watching as Emily steps forward.

Emily: Then why was I having to just turn off your interview, hm? And why were you apologizing to someone as though having upset them?

The redhead reaches forward for her face startling Blink. Emily's hand stops as she's a little surprised by this reaction. But can you blame her? Especially as Emily uses her other hand to grip hold of Blink's hair stopping her from performing that reaction again. This time her hand is placed against her cheek without anything stopping it. What she feels is exactly as she had believed as she brings both hands back.

Emily: Cool.

Blink feels a sense of dread wash over her about Emily finding this out. She almost waits for the first strike, and Emily does raise a hand ready to smack the back of it across Blink's cheek, but...

Emily: What's the point in correcting you?

The redhead lowers her hand and straightens out her posture.

Emily: I have decided to cancel your year end review.

Blink is ready to cry out in protest of that when Emily raises her hand back up this time silencing her student. It works as Blink returns to her timid position.

Emily: I will also be removing you from the advanced training program. You obviously aren't taking it seriously enough.

Blink: I am, Lady Emily!

Emily: Interviews? Personal situations? None of these are in my program. So until you show your worth again...

Emily turns away from Blink and starts down toward the hall.

Emily: You should consider yourself lucky that I am not terminating your position as my student.

That's all she leaves with as she makes her way down the rest of the hall away from her student who clutches her fists and finally a look of determination on her face.

Blink: [size0]I'll win, Lady Emily, and I'll make you see that I'm worthy of your teachings.

Hero pose as Blink brings one of those clenched fists up. Then she does what only she could do in a moment like this; ruin it by letting out a little gasp and bow.

Blink: [size0]I'm sorry, I didn't mean to insist how you see me.

Emily's no longer around to smack Blink around here so the Bad Girl is able to straighten out. She looks at the Seigi Sentai door for a moment.

Blink: [size0]When he comes, I'll be his champion equal.

That said, she turns and continues her running down the hall now more determined than ever for victory. Tacky, but the fighting spirit begins running through her veins.
