It's a swinging night in the...Olympiastadion, geez, talk about a mouthful with that name, who names these places? Oh right, Germans, that's who, it probably means the gigantic superior arena or something like that in German. Anyways, the cafeteria area and part of the backstage area are hopping tonight, the night before Halloween! Why is this you ask? Because it's the FIW company Halloween Party! Yay! Woo! Boo! ...Boo? Get him out of there, stat! No party for the non-believer! Part of the backstage area's been turned into a haunted house like attraction for the staff and for any wrestlers that wish to bother with it. FIW's brought in a waiting staff to serve the staff & wrestlers anything they want; they're not missing out on the Halloween fun either. For the most part they look normal, save the contacts all the waiting staff is wearing that gives them black eyes, like some sort of demon. There's a bartender set up on the far right side of the cafeteria in a make-shift bar set up, looking eerily like he's out of a Stephen King novel. The doors that connect the cafeteria to an old ballroom the arena has are open, allowing the staff & wrestlers to either eat the gourmet food they've brought in. Or, if they prefer it, go over into the ballroom with two levels to it and shake their money makers, respectfully of course. FIW's not a sexist operation, even if it's a pro-wrestling company. The ballroom's set up to fit the mood too, with a yellow eyed DJ that's spinning whatever track he desires or someone requests. Marty McFly walks up onto the small stage in the ballroom and he taps the microphone set up for him. Great Scott! He's going to whip out his guitar and play us a little number, isn't he?! But wait, Marty, don't you have to tell the Doc about the future?! ...Or the past, rather, seeing as that was in the 1980's. I mean, I guess something could happen to Doctor Brown in the year 2012 too that would make Marty have to go back in time... Hm? Oh, it's just Toby Bostock dressed as Marty McFly. I knew that. TB: Evening ghosts and ghouls! Toby looks out at the party goers, grinning at his joke that generates a collective groan from his audience. If there wasn't free booze, I'm pretty sure right about now people would be heading for the doors. It isn't a good sign when the opening joke is some cliché' line. That's almost as bad as somebody breaking the fourth wall or a narrative that rambles. TB: Welcome to FIW's Halloween Party! Mr. Reign was supposed to be our host for this evening but...uh...I don't know what happened with that. So I'm going to keep this short. Now remember folks, all food and beverages are on the house tonight but try to be responsible! Have a ghoul night! There's one guy that claps for Toby's announcement though most are glad it's mercifully over. Toby nods to the DJ to start the music back up and he does just that, throwing on some old school Misfits for the people to enjoy. It looks like all of the staff is here tonight, save William Reign, who might be off snorting cocaine off the back of an elephant for all we know. Wonder who else is here...or is still to show... |

Blink is! Yay...and she's brought a guest! Yay... She enters wearing her standard Sunday garb (sexy nun) and a plastic mouse mask. Hm, wonder where I thought that one up? Meh, doesn't matter. To her right is a blond woman wearing a maid's outfit (because that's the most costume attire she brought with her). She looks as though she's having a good time bopping around to the music but the feeling isn't mutual for Blink who doesn't look like she wants to be hear. Not the grumpling “I don't wanna visit Grandma in the hospital” kinda feeling, more so the “Lady Emily is going to beat the merciful heck out of me if I don't spend this time training instead.” That feeling really begins to expand through the Bad Girl who tries to turn back to the exit but is pulled in by the maid and—great Scott! (I said it first! I said it first!) There's no backing to that maid's skirt! Oh, right, Yakuhara's design. She manages to get her back in and surprisingly seated at a table. A waitress comes over, seeing as how it's just at the start at the evening...she's just that quick! Ariel: Two Evians, please. The waitress nods as she makes her way toward the bar with the order. As she does, Ariel once again notices the troubled look on Blink's face. Or as much as she can see. The eyes are a dead give away for someone who's spent as much time with her as Ariel has. Ariel: Cheer up, Miss. Madison. This is a party. Please? After a few moments a small smile begins to come up and that seems enough for Ariel, no sense in pushing her feelings and all. |

There's another person that enters the party, looking around at everyone that's dressed up for the evening. Most probably wouldn't recognize him, seeing as he's lacking the outfit and most notably the mask he's best known for. Rather the man's opted to wear a green tunic tonight with a brown leather belt around the waist. There's a leather sash slung over his shoulder that's carrying a short sword sheathed on his back and his feet are clad in leather boots. The green cap on his head and the pointed ears are probably the biggest giveaway who he's supposed to be. Robin Hood? Not quite. The Hero of Time's face is obscured by the Deku Mask he's wearing, clearly having stepped out of his adventures in Majora's Mask. He looks around the party, trying to spot some familiar faces or someone that looks like they're a familiar face. Kamen's flying solo tonight, Skull having opted not to come tonight to the FIW Halloween Party. His partner grumbled about SKR wasting time when they should be focusing & training for the match against the Black Label Society. A slick black car zooms past a sign that reads "Now Leaving Nevada" on an unnamed highway. Inside said car is Super Kamen Ranger sitting in the passenger seat and Skull sitting in the driver's seat, manning the wheel. Those glowing eyes are glancing over occasionally at his partner that he just retrieved from his little get away. It's partially the reason why he's speeding; the other reason is to make sure they get to the airport in time for their flight. They have a title match they have to get to. PS: Did you get what you were looking for? The Inter-Galactic Hero's staring out the window at all the things they're passing by so quickly. Other cars on the high way, lights, signs that are promoting this and that, they're all just blurs to the champion. The speed they're going surprisingly doesn't bother Kamen, like one would assume going so fast would to the average person. Maybe he's used to it; it could be this is how Skull always drives. SKR: No, not really...but it's okay. Kamen shakes his head and he looks away from the window to look over at his partner when he responds to the question. The momentary sadness over not finding what he was looking for if replaced with a subtle happiness when he reassures Skull it's okay. He might've failed to get what he expected but he got a few other things instead and he's come to a decision about what drove him here. It is the only thing he can do; he's going to trust her, why stop now when she hasn't let him down so far? PS: Hmph. Why Kamen ran off to Nevada still isn't entirely clear to him though he has a pretty good theory going. He could say alot of things right now to him, tell him he's being a sentimental fool, and tell him what he's found out from her. He could ruin everything if he wanted; shake his partner's very trust in her by confirming what he thought all along. But he doesn't know all the facts still thanks to that interruption by the interviewer, and so he'll leave it alone. It isn't for her he keeps quiet; it's for Kamen that he's doing this. Much like, tempting as it is to lecture him about letting her see his face too...he won't. He trusts Kamen. Why stop now? "Link" looks around some more, walking deeper into the party, he's on the lookout for a very specific person. He hopes she's here, so that they can talk if nothing else. To explain himself to her as to why he didn't go to her when he got back from his little trip to Nevada like Skull told her he would. Skull kept true to his word, he told Kamen and he told Kamen to go find her & talk to her but...he didn't. There's a part of him that regrets not going to her after seeing what transpired in the main event. Those orange Deku eyes land on a pink haired woman that's wearing a mouse mask, sitting at a table with a maid. He instantly realizes who it is though he wonders for a second if he isn't assuming a little there. After all, if nothing else, he now knows that Blink isn't the only pink haired wrestler in the business at this high of a level. It very well could be that girl or somebody else that's dyed their hair pink for the occasion...though he doubts it. While he's walking towards the table a few people that notice him and get his costume snort & snicker at it. The question on all their minds is why on Earth would he, if he wanted to go as Link, go as young Link and not the bad ass older Link? It's probably because older Link isn't in Majora's Mask and he's trying to stay accurate as possible with his costume for tonight. Though if that is the case, it begs the question why didn't he dye his hair blond to make it match Link's? SKR: I like your costume, Summer. It's when he's nearly right behind her that he speaks up, trying to get close so that he doesn't have to work as hard at talking over the music. The moment after he compliments her is when he realizes what she's wearing, besides the mouse mask, and doesn't get it. Why's she wearing a nun outfit? Kamen wonders if maybe the costume's from some movie or video game or something he doesn't know about. |

Blinks' hazel eyes shift from behind the mask toward the third person at this table. Her fingers trace around the nose of her mouse mask. There isn't a chair set up for him, but Ariel—sensing something from Blink—heads off to retrieve one from another table. Blink: [size0]Th-thank you. She lowers her head looking at something white in her hands. Paper? Photo? Hard to tell...since somebody is keeping that bit of knowledge to themselves! Blink: [size0]If you really wanted to know about me... She looks back up toward Link, small wet trails leading out from behind her mask. Blink: [size0]You just had to ask. She continues to stare up at him. How? Does Catherine still hold contact with NGIW insiders from her tenure there? Text message from Roxie? That info hound, Cyndi Sullivan? Or perhaps the marks themselves? Blink: [size0]I...just hope it wasn't a burden for them talking about me. Once more her eyes dive downward, but not on the small bit of white in her hands but of the darkness of her miniskirt. One has to wonder if Yakuhara ever takes up Sunday service and if he does what he thinks about to choose Sunday as “sexy nun day”. Then again, it is a little better than “sexy schoolgirl Monday”. Blink: [size0]Not that it would be a burden talking to you... Sounds as though she wants to say that the topic of choice was more so the cause of burden but her mind just doesn't seem to be working properly right now. Too many things. We could discover more if we knew what the devil was in the envelope! But it's not only that, there's also the fact that she told one of her ladies about Kamen's true face. Or at least as much as she saw, but unless he's a burn victim or decided to follow in Van Gogh's footsteps or even Harvey Dent's... Blink: [size0]I'm really sorry, Watching the new girl fight with her mentor, living with the realization that the entire world (once again) saw her panties, losing a match due to her own personal weakness. Blink: [size0]I didn't mean to bring that up first. Nearly being seriously injured on two accounts (one by Kamen's own partner), her note from Jaime (the only connecting point between her and her hero) being ripped in front of her, Cheer Bear having been taken hostage, Nikita's sudden departure meaning the end of girl talk. Blink: [size0]If you wanted, Lady Catherine knows quite a bit about me. Just about everything. It's an order written in her book that we have no secrets from one another. Have you figured that one out yet? Of course you have, you're pretty smart, aren't you? By now Blink has wiped away the trails from her cheeks and looks up at Kamen Ranger smiling. The usual Blink smile, the one that acts as more so a mask than the one she's currently wearing right now. Blink: [size0]I like your costume too. She says, even though the mask does sort of frighten her a little. Finally, Ariel returns with a chair planting it down next to Kamen Ranger but before she takes her own seat she gives the new one a nice dusting. |

Uh oh. Caught red handed. This is a whole new world of awkward when Blink starts talking to him about him talking to others about her. He had hoped she hadn't found out though is it really any wonder she had found out about his little trip to Nevada? She has friends there, and even if no one spilled the beans to her, she might've watched the party. If nothing else, it would've let her see what her friends were up to, maybe check on a certain one that she went to visit not long ago. Though if she personally saw or got a detailed report on it... ...Some of the things he said...about her...them... Yeah, whole new world of awkward. It doesn't get any easier for the Hero of Time either, Blink starts crying when she's talking to him. There are many things that make Kamen fall apart, he can be a very emotional person, nothing quite does the job like her tears though. Something about making her cry just makes him feel like he did something inherently bad, like curb stomp a kitten. For someone as Dudley-Do-Right as SKR is, feeling like he's done something bad isn't a very good feeling, at all. SKR: ..It..uh.. Not even a phrase is uttered before he gives up and he allows Blink to continue to have the floor in this discussion. Worse and worse he feels, getting the strong urge to just go and crawl in some hole in shame away from this conversation. He is many things but he isn't a coward though and so he takes everything she's got to say to him. She doesn't mean for this to be as painful as it is for him, he knows that much. When she apologizes...well, does he even need to say it? Not like she's going to listen to him. SKR: You're welcome and thank you. When Ariel returns with a chair for him, he does what any person would do; he sits down in it next to Blink. His fingers are fidgeting and playing with each other, trying to figure out something to do with them while he sits there. Kamen glances down at his lap and then up at Blink, and then back down at his lap, the process is repeated a few times. What does one even say to what's been said? SKR: Summer, I'm sorry. I was acting silly. Besides, everything I need to know about you I already do. The Deku mask is obscuring his face though with his head turned, it's clear who has his full attention right now. His fingers continue to try to find something to do with themselves when he apologizes to her and he shakes his head. Why did he let Skull's words affect him so much? He might not know everything about Blink that one could know but everything he needs to know he already does. The trust he has in her he knows she wouldn't break. SKR: I'm also sorry if I made you worry at all last week...I really wish I could've been here for you. Now his orange Deku eyes are back to staring at his lap when he brings up his disappearing act on FIW. Funny, he feels worse about abandoning Blink more than he does anything or anyone else that he might've last week. Skull he feels bad about though he also knows that Skull's able to take care of himself and they still are fine. With everything in her life, with the match she had coming, he should've been here and he should've been supporting her... Maybe then she would've... SKR: I understand if you're upset with me. Upset, why on Earth would Blink be upset? It couldn't possibly be due to you having doubts and so you tried to talk to some of her friends, some of her acquaintances. With the goal to try to figure out what type of people Blink associates herself with and maybe, see what they're opinions of her are. It might be a tad insulting to someone if they found out you went and did this behind their back. |

Is there a bar? Yes. Check. Is Neo there? Yes, check. Is he drinking? Yes, he has an alcohol problem. He's drowning his sorrows and wishes Rick Nuller was here to save the day, but alas he's too busy licking the barbecue stains out of his coveralls. Neo swigs his Tequila Sunrise and ponders his place in the Full Intensity Wrestling company, I mean...he's got a big match on Sunday! |

(Off in the corner The Black Label Society have somewhat sectioned themselves off from the other party goers. Mad Dawg is seen looking over everyone else with a look of disdain. He shakes his head and takes a sip of his drink.) Mad Dawg: Just look at them all, foolishly celebrating the holiday of the Devil. What’s next? Are we going to have a party to celebrate the eve of Armageddon? E.Z.: Let them have their fun. Didn’t you love Halloween as a kid? Mad Dawg: Couldn’t stand it. All the little bastards running around in their cheap K-Mart costumes, pretending to be monsters but never realizing the real monsters looking to oppress them are lurking all around them. Wearing silly masks to prepare them for the masks they will wear later on in their worthless little insignificant lives. I was too much of a realist, even as a child. I had no time for stupid games of pretend and I learned at an early age that an imagination is meaningless if it fantasizes about things that never could happen. E.Z.: I’m sure you had a shit childhood. Mad Dawg: I’ve told you before, there was nothing wrong with my childhood. I just found more enjoyment playing with sharp objects than I ever could have found strapping a sheet to my back and jumping off the back of my couch thinking I was Darkwing Duck. Sanchez: Darkwing Duck? Mad Dawg: Quiet, you! It was a good show, about the only good thing that ever came from that Disney cesspool. Well besides Duck Tales, but that was only because Scrooge McDuck was pretty fucking awesome! E.Z.: Anyways, back to more important matters. I’ve already got our flight to Colorado booked, we leave first thing in the morning. (Sanchez looks over at E.Z. confused.) Sanchez: Colorado? How are we going to make it back in time for our match this Sunday? (Mad Dawg smiles and chuckles a little.) Mad Dawg: Our match? You mean your match. E.Z. and I have to head back to the States to handle a little bit of business and there’s a good chance we won’t even be back in the country by the time Sunday rolls around. We need you to stay here and hold the fort down. Sanchez: But how am I supposed to take on Seigi Sentai on my own? They’re the Tag Team Champions, you’re expecting me to take them on my own? Mad Dawg: First of all, you better change that tone real fucking quick.. (Roberto quickly lowers his eyes and bows his head.) Sanchez: I’m sorry, Father Mad Dawg.. Mad Dawg: Second of all, that is exactly what I’m expecting because I’m not going to be there to baby-sit you and hold your hand. If you can find someone to help you out then so be it, but you won’t have me. Fact of the matter is you have failed me and you have failed our Lord on too many occasions. And neither of us take too kindly to constant failure. So you should be punished and I see this as a very fit punishment for your situation. Sanchez: I know I failed again this week, but I don’t see why I must be punished again. Why can’t I just help you handle whatever it is your needing back in Colorado? Mad Dawg: Because that is the way it has been demanded of you, child. Are you seriously going to question His word? Do you know what happens to those who try to disobey God and run from His demands? Jonah tried to disobey God and run away. He paid dearly for it and you better believe you won’t get very far either. (Sanchez looks away and swallows uncomfortably as he’s taking in Mad Dawg’s harsh, almost threatening words.) Mad Dawg: Good…seems you’ve gotten the point. I’ve arranged an interview for you with Jeff Noon later this week. Be sure you get the message across and we’ll clue you in on how things are going for us during our little…”trip.” (Mad Dawg smiles and leans back relaxing in his chair.) |

“Everything I need to know about you, I do.” Is that reassuring or what? Blink doesn't actually react to that, though she does continue her nervous outlook fearing that she may have overstepped her boundaries there. Is it really her place to be upset over what Kamen Ranger does with his time? That just makes her feel like the controlling girlfriend, if she was his girlfriend in the first place, and so when he's just about finished she tries to mask things (get it? *nerdy laugh*) with a small smile. The she gets concerned when he does finish. Blink: [size0]Please don't say those things. I'm not upset, it's my fault for bringing it up. Oh yeah, it still unsettles her. It unsettles her that Lucas couldn't recall their first meeting. It was random, yes, she was just asking him if he knew where she could find Roxie but things grew from there. Then it comes to her that maybe she's not even special in the sense that she could make an impact on anyone's mind. I mean if Lucas couldn't even recall then how long will it be until Kamen Ranger draws the exact same blank? Of course she always knew she wasn't anything special, so maybe it was that stand up of her photo shoot that has him remember their first meeting. Blink still regrets doing that, making it another thing she'll never stop apologizing over. Blink: [size0]Did you order something to drink? It unsettles her that across from her sits a man who would openly mock her trainer, the woman she respects more than anything in the world. Especially since just a month ago he wasn't exactly singing his praises of her but he certainly didn't have so much of a problem against her. That's the one thing she could never stand for. Insult her all you want, laugh at her behind her back, but she just asks you show some respect and modesty toward the woman who saved her life. It's these thoughts to cause the girl to forget her earlier question that would ordinarily call for a break in conversation, that is if Kamen Ranger had ordered a drink or wasn't thirsty at the time. Blink: [size0]What...do you think of Lady Emily? Is she baiting him? Hoping that he answers differently to how he was talking about her to Lucas? She hopes for that, but she also knows that would only be a lie. A lie told to keep her happy and maybe she would be alright with that. Or is she asking for the truth? That maybe she's abusing her and was glad to see her get some sort of comeuppance at the hands of Jaime Lee. Either way Blink isn't crying anymore and behind that mouse mask is a woman nervous. Nervous about the answer, nervous about how she'll respond to the answer. Her heart begins racing as her breathing slowly becomes more and more shallow. |

It's reassuring for Kamen when she lets him know she isn't upset with him, he's glad to hear it. So glad that he looks back up over at her and he gives her a small nod of the head, as an "okay" of sorts. He doesn't really think it's her fault though that's a battle he's choosing to walk away from; they always say to pick your battles. They've been around each other enough that he knows it's simply one of her quirks to feel that way about stuff like this. When she asks if he ordered something to drink it makes him pause for a second, trying to recall his actions. He walked in and he looked around, he found Blink and Ariel and he went over to them and he started to talk & then sat down. Nope, there weren’t any Kamen stops to order something to drink in that memory. Though he does admit he did add some Zelda soundtrack music into the background for his own enjoyment. SKR: Uh, no...I didn't. I forgot to. Kamen's feeling a little silly he failed to ask for something, he isn't particularly thirsty at the moment but still. It's always nice to have something to drink. It would give his hands something to do too though they aren't fidgeting quite as much anymore. Probably has something to do with the fact that he's starting to relax, things feeling normal again between Blink and him, as much as they can. ...Then she brings up the topic of Emily Stratfield. While it's true he never said anything outwardly bad about her to Lucas, he didn't stand up for her either when Lucas ragged on her. So he knows if he tried to lie to the pink haired girl that she'd probably catch on to what he's doing. Not that he would normally lie anyways, it's just with Blink, especially this topic of discussion...He doesn't know, there's something about it. Kamen doesn't want to upset Blink and they say honesty is the best way... SKR: I think she's a great fighter, much more than most are willing to give her credit for. It isn't by accident she's the last official Hellcat Division Champion and had a great match with Jaime Lee at the last pay-per-view. I haven't spoken to her much but she was nice enough to me. That said... There they go again, his fingers are fidgeting and trying to find something to do with themselves. Or maybe he's simply trying to use them as an excuse for why he looks away from Blink and he hangs his head, staring down at them in his lap. He feels terrible again, he doesn't want to say this but he knows that Blink wants the truth and she deserves that. So it is what he's giving her, so far it doesn't sound that bad but that's the key word there, so far. SKR: ...I don't always like the way she treats you. I know there's a method to the madness and it's gotten results...I just have a hard time seeing you treated that way, by anyone. The more he thinks about it, the more he's willing to admit Skull did something similar to some of the things Emily has done to Blink to him years ago. So some of it could be chalked up to tough love and intense training...but some of it he can't chalk up to that. Some of it he knows is wrong and it's why it pains him to say what he does to Blink, his guilt coming through in his words for saying this about her teacher. Kamen glances up at Blink; he knows Emily means nothing to him though in a very odd way, she means alot to Blink. His, for once bare, hand finds its way to one of her hands that's resting on the table when he admits that last part. The orange Deku eyes staring into her actual eyes behind her mouse mask. |

Blink was on the verge of removing her mouse mask so that she could see Kamen Ranger a little more clearly but hearing about how he doesn't seem to like how he likes the way Emily treats her student, the Bad Girl removes her hand from the pointed nose of the mask and rests it back down. Because chances are he wouldn't like what he would see. Just in time too because shortly afterward she feels something pressing lightly over her hand. She looks down to see it's bare and all she can think about is seeing his face. She shakes that memory from her mind because she knows where that's going to lead; telling Catherine (c'mon, it seriously didn't take you this long to figure that one out, did it?), informing Skull, then being choked. Wait, shouldn't she report that kind of abuse to Kamen Ranger? What would he do, if anything? And isn't that just tattling? Blink sighs trying maybe to think on something a little more pleasant. Blink: [size0]Lady Emily never mistreats me, everything I get I deserve. Like this past week... I think we saw what happened as a result of her latest match, do we really need to relive it? Blink: [size0]I was fighting for both Lady Emily and Lady Nikita. Because I lost, Lady Nikita got disgusted with me and left. Of course Blink would convince herself that that's what happened. Well, either that or that's what Emily told her. Either way it's a truth to Blink. Ariel: I'm sure that's not why she left without saying good bye, Miss. Madison. I'm sure someone had to say it, but it would seem that even a friend like Ariel's words have no power in bringing Blink from her little funk she's in right now. Blink: [size0]Ever since this tour nothing's ever gone right for me. Sometimes I just want to quit. Quit? Quit what? Startled by her own words, Blink looks up and starts to laugh nervously a little. Blink: [size0]I-I'll go get us some drinks, hm? Blink scoots her chair back rising up to her feet when Ariel notices two glasses already on the table. Eyes up on Blink, the main points down toward the refreshments. Ariel: Miss. Madison, we already-- But it was too late...Blink is already halfway to the bar but stops there when she remembers and turns back to the table letting out another nervous laugh. Blink: [size0]I'm so sorry, Kamen Ranger, I mean Link, what would you like to drink? Yeah, give the slutty mouse nun your drink order. |

There he goes again, hanging his head, why is he hanging his head again you ask? It's because Blink believes, truly believes, everything Emily does to her she deserves fully without a single doubt in her pink hair covered head. That's rather depressing she thinks so lowly of herself that she feels she earns everything Emily's ever thrown at her. Not that it should be surprising, this is a girl who feels her life is meaningless and she is more than willing to give it up to save someone else. All he can muster is a small nod to respond to that. This past week... The transformed locker room is now occupied by both members of the Seigi Sentai now that Kamen's back. The Phantom Skull is busy slipping his trench coat on and getting his mind ready for the match that's only a few hours away now. His glowing eyes are staring at the FIW World Tag Team Championships that sit not far from him. Their gaze shifts, briefly, over to the other man in the room, wondering why he's still there to begin with. PS: Why won't you go to her? The question doesn't look like it's heard, Super Kamen Ranger is doing exactly what he's been doing since he got in here. He's been trying his best to pace around the locker room, the wires & other equipment making it difficult though not impossible. The match is what he should be a little nervous about; El Valiente and Darren Hayes are nothing to sneeze at when so much is at stake. But there's something else that's troubling his mind, making him nervous, or rather a certain someone. SKR: I...I can't...not now, we have an important match. She has an even more important match...I'll go after our match. Kamen shakes his head a few times, unsure how to answer that, his voice full of jitters and it surprisingly makes Skull scowl. Usually he'd be glad SKR is staying away from that woman but he told her he'd send Kamen out to see her, and he isn't one to lie. When he says he's going to do something, he does it. Though he does understand his partner's got alot on his plate and it isn't worth his energy to try to force him to. Kamen can't believe what he's hearing from Blink when she talks about the past week and the main event. He knows she was fighting for both and that it was a tough loss but does she really think that about why Nikita left? Too bad he doesn't get to champion that cause, Ariel beats him to it and so he keeps quiet for a few more seconds. His thoughts are dancing around the events of the past week, and how it went very differently for the two of them. ReVolt's been underway for a while now and it isn't long now till the main event, the big title match to close the show. Question on everyone's mind is if Christian Cruz can slip out of tonight still the FIW Triple Crown Champion with three challengers? One of the champions that's already been successful tonight, Super Kamen Ranger, is walking down the backstage corridors. The FIW World Tag Team Championship that belongs to him is secured tightly around his waist. The masked man stops a few feet away from one of the locker room doors and he stares at it for a moment or two. His general demeanor is one of confliction as he stares at the door that has his friend, and romance interest, Blink behind it. He told Skull he was going to see her after their match but...should he really go see her now? His inner turmoil brought him this far but he can't bring himself to step any closer to the door. It's now he realizes that maybe it would be worse if he saw her now, it being so close to the main event. Her head has to be in the game for this match, it's an important match both professionally and personally for her. If she wins, she becomes an official champion again and she makes Emily and Nikita proud of her. Regardless of how he feels about Emily, he does like Nikita, and he knows how important making her happy is to Blink. If he walked in now...there's a chance he could throw her off her game bad enough it costs her the match... ...Better to wait, stay away for now, and let her focus on what's important. Blink's words stir him out of his thoughts and he kind of regrets it, nothing's gone right for her since the tour started? Does that include...them, if there is a them to include in that? He isn't sure if he should feel sad about that or not, and he's leaning towards he should feel sad about what she's said. Guess it hasn't been as nice as he had thought it was. ...Wait, quit? His heart sinks when he hears that word come out of her mouth, it's a word he never thought he'd hear from her. Blink's never say die attitude made him think such a thing was impossible for her to even do and yet...there it is. She's reaching her breaking point, maybe, and it could mean she'd be gone from FIW...maybe his life too. There's a thought that helps him feel better about things. Thoughts are racing through his head, so much so that he doesn't notice the little scene that plays out after Blink says that. He's far too caught up in what he's considering he should do, to help make her life better, and her career better. Anything to keep her from leaving FIW, and none of it is adding up in his head as well as he'd like it to unfortunately. If only there was some way he could magically fix everything, times like these he wished he was blue and voiced by Robin Williams. SKR: Oh...uh...water, please. It takes a few moments but in amongst the crossfire going on in his mind, the question pushes its way to his attention. Once he realizes she's already up and half way gone, trying to get him something to drink, he deflates a little. Yeah, so much for trying to say something inspirational to motivate her and move her into a better mood. The only thing he can do right now is tell her what he's drinking. |

It's quiet at the table, perhaps just a bit too quiet. But then again just what would either Kamen Ranger or Ariel have to say to one another? Their own wishes that Blink chooses them to love? Do they know that the other is vying for the young Bad Girls heart? Is it officially official that Kamen Ranger is seeking the fair maiden's hand? The only noise that comes from the table is Ariel's small cough into her hand before taking a sip of her drink to help clear her throat. Then silence some more. If it was another of Yakuhara's maids sitting here she'd have something to talk about. Extended hours, growing duties, shrinking outfits, automatic rifle training, typical maid stuff. But no, she's left in this awkward situation and the worst part is she can't leave since Blink should be back soon. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... What the hell is taking that girl so long? Ariel wants to look but she doesn't want to make it look like she's looking. So it's just a fake stretch technique she uses to look over toward the bar hoping she didn't make it obvious. Yet when you're leaning back in your chair with enough time to look all around then, yeah, it becomes a little obvious as to what you're doing. Damnit, the silence is killing her, she can't stand it. Ariel: You know, if you really need info on people, I heard Miss. Madison has a friend who's great at seeking that kind of stuff out. She managed to get my cell number for Miss. Madison only based on a quick explanation of what I looked like. It's a step up from small talk, a small one like stepping from one patio stone up to another placed right on top, but a step nonetheless. At least she isn't talking about the weather. The Ariel can't really say any more on the person as Blink returns looking a little different than when she left. Her hair isn't as neat, there's a couple of tears in her outfit, and there's a thin trail of blood coming down her cheek from behind her mouse mask. Blink: [size0]I'm really sorry for taking so long, Lady Emily wanted to speak with me. She places the glass down in front of Kamen Ranger before taking a seat down in her chair turning her attention to the only male around her. Then a startled expression. Blink: [size0]Oh! She reaches around pulling up an envelope holding it out for Kamen Ranger to take hold of. Blink: [size0]I...got this today and it mentions you. Something about the Maison d'éducation de la Légion d'honneur next week. Ariel: Miss. Madison. Blink: [size0]Hm? She turns just in time to have Ariel scoot closer to her with a napkin that she begins rubbing against the Bad Girl's cheek. She wants to have the mask taken off but Blink places her free hand over the nose keeping it in place. Though she does lift the edge enough so that Ariel can get at the cut. It's not such a nasty looking affair, something that a finger nail could cause, though what is is that scrape that's resting dangerously close to her right eye. Blink seems to get the feeling that the cut there is visible so she applies the mask back over her face snugly before Ariel even has a chance to fully clean up that one cut. Now feeling safe, Blink looks back at Kamen Ranger with a small smile as she continues to hold the envelope out for him to take and look over. |

Super Kamen Ranger's fingers are anxiously tapping along the edge of the table he's sitting at, something for them to do while he thinks. Is she really that close to quitting FIW? If she did, she'd have no reason to come see him anymore, no reason to spend time with him, no reason to talk to him. That's something that makes him feel far worse than any loss ever could, and he's a little surprised at how badly it makes him feel. Even if he knew Ariel's intentions, he's far too busy worrying to consider them. Her cough is able to stir him from his thoughts for a moment, and then it's right back to them for what feels like a life time. It's her stretching, in an attempt to spot Blink, that draws him back out of his thoughts and he looks around. Now is when he realizes how long she's been gone though he takes Ariel's calmness as a sign he shouldn't do anything. After all, she's just stretching and relaxing, albeit is a very weird stretch, he wonders if she learned to do it that way from someone. Maybe it's more effective. SKR: Oh... It's all Kamen gets to say to what Ariel says, because Blink shows back up and she's looking worse for wear. Almost immediately he wants to spring into action, and ignore his glass of water in the process, and see what's going on with Blink. His hands start to reach out to her to tend to her...only for her to hand him a letter? The masked man takes the letter, looking over the envelope a few times, not recognizing the hand writing on the front of it. SKR: I don't know any Maison d'éducation de la Légion d'honneur... The Inter-Galactic Hero half mumbles and looks back, and if he wasn't wearing a mask one could see he frowns. Once more his attempt to tend to Blink is foiled by Ariel, who does what he had intended to do before he could, and take care of her wound. It isn't like he's mad, it just makes him feel more useless to Blink in the grand scheme of things and so he tries to take his mind off of it. What better way than open the envelope and read the mystery letter that's inside, trying to make heads or tails of it. That fails in a spectacular manner. He still doesn't recognize the hand writing, so this person is as much a mystery to him as it is to Blink. They talk about meeting their master and further instructions, and it's all rather confusing to him what they're end game could be. There's no reason to not trust it, if anything, this might be important for the two of them to go do. Still, he can't shake a lingering doubt in his head about it...maybe the memory of Hammer trying to crush Blink's wind pipe. SKR: It sounds like it could be fun. Back to sounding somewhat cheerful, Kamen looks back up at the pink haired girl when he tells her his opinion. He shrugs a little, he doesn't mind, if it is something dangerous, least the two of them are going to be there together. They've had some decent luck dealing with things when both of them are around, sort of. One couldn't really call them a formidable team or anything, they're still alive though and that's worth something. SKR: Maybe we could make a day of it, if talking to this guy doesn't take long, seeing the sights and sounds of Paris. Well, they'd be making a night of it but the point is clear enough, Kamen's suggesting they go sightseeing together. His voice is sounding a little bit happier now that he's thinking about spending the evening with her next week. Though the two of them, alone, sightseeing and especially sightseeing at night, in the City of Love? That is sounding an awful lot like another date for the Bad Girl and the Interstellar Insect, date number three to be specific. |

Cowboy Hat, Cowboy Boots, three piece suit. There is someone at this party dressed as the ultimate form of Mr. Blond; complete with stogie and aviators. Can't see his eyes, but from the way his brow is furrowed, he's thinking twice about coming. He clearly catches Toby McFly's gaze, and snarls across to him. Mr. Blond: Yipee-ka-yay, modderfocker. He walks over to the bar, glaring all the way from behind the shades and very quietly, but very definitely says: Mr. Blond: Beer me. |

Fun? Blink can't think of any moment that these two have shared that's turned out as fun as he's possibly making them sound right now. Injuries, crying, problems after problems, nothing fun about what these two have gone through. Still though, she doesn't mind spending some time with someone she knows well enough to be alone with. She'll just have to get Emily's permission first, of course, before really agreeing to it. Blink: [size0]I-I'll ask Lady Emily if it's okay for us to do that. She might not though, since I already gave my report on-- She stops herself with a sudden gasp. What's up with this girl when she's around that man? Things just have a habit of blurting out, don't they? Ariel is looking between the two of them rather quickly as Blink is ready to apologize. Before she can, however, the maid hopes up off her seat and turns toward Kamen Ranger. Ariel: We should dance. Her and Blink? Go for it. No? She reaches for Kamen Ranger's wrist pulling him from the chair without giving much time for a response and quickly leads him from the table toward the open floor area as Blink watches them go a little confused. Sadovsky: Cowboy. He says in an almost mocking sense of tone before turning toward the bar. Wait, when did he enter? Do we need to explain that? We've been paying so much attention to Blink and Kamen Ranger and their continuing adventures that we can't quite see everyone enter. Well we can, as most would have themselves shown entering, but I'll take the low road and have Sadovsky already at the bar with...with...c'mon, you should know...with...Gatorade! Heh, you thought it'd be scotch, didn't you? Sadovsky: Should not people here be training for matches? Then what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be training for a match? The only one not booked in a match at this party is Blink. Poor girl. So frustrated, so angry. I wear two hats, people call it multiple personality disorder, I call it always having someone to talk to. Sadovsky: It no longer matters where I am now. Is...is he still talking to Mr. Blond? Was he talking to Mr. Blond? And he's not even in costume! He's just sitting there on the stool sipping his drink wearing his white polo shirt and tan coloured slacks. Sadovsky: Booked as sideshow attraction. Big versus small, what point is there to that? If I win people see it as no surprise. Lose and it is miracle. I gain nothing. Either be level bully or stepping stone. That is option. His fingers perch around the top rim of his drink as he twists it around every so slightly. Sadovsky: I had something personal going, yet there is no push. Pathetic in way, to be ignored. Now the giant Russian releases his drink and relaxes as far back as he can get in his stool. Sadovsky: But that is career now. I am big man on campus, only in size. I will fight smaller opponents until it is no longer amazing. Only way out... He eyes his reflection in the mirror at the back of the bar that generally just gives the impression that there are far more drinks than what's actually on display. Sadovsky: Set up warning block, speed bump. Warn off others who will come at me. I have nothing against Cuervo Blanco...just knee to spine. Once more his massive hand grips the glass and he takes a quick gulp still glaring at his reflection. Sadovsky: Just knee to spine. You thought we were done with them? Hells no, man. Ariel is currently taking the lead in a dance Ludovico Einaudi's "Divenire". She rests one hand up on his shoulder and the other in his hand while she's brought his hand to her lower back. Perhaps if he feels around a little he might feel...skin? A sudden sensation of cotton? Oh right, she is one of Yakuhara's maids and as such...yeah, the backing of the skirt...gone. I don't know why every time I have to remind, I guess I just like clarifying that little detail. Ariel: Sorry for pulling you out here, I just have to know your intentions with Miss. Madison. You're not just another crusader trying to take her away from Emily. You're not hugging her or even kissing her hand upon seeing her. I've noticed you've twice tried to help Miss. Madison's injuries. You've taken Emily's side on things but then you insult her behind Miss. Madison's back. It makes me wonder just how you feel about those others Miss. Madison hangs around with. Mrs. Neville, Alanya, even that bear she carries around with her. I doubt you're the type that's dating her on some bet, you seem nice enough to not do that. So just tell me what it is you intend to eventually do with Miss. Madison. She's looking for romance, is that what you're after? The song ends and Ariel steps away from Kamen Ranger clapping her gloved hands together lightly while still eyeing her dance partner. A good time to tell her where she can go as the next song is only in the process of getting ready. |

The guy with the cowboy boots looks at Sadovsky as if it's Sadovsky who's the crazy one; sucking on his beer all the way through Sadovsky's speech. I'm not even sure how much English Blondie really speaks. I'm fairly sure he didn't get all of that. In the fullness of time, he finishes his beer, waves for another and just looks at Sadovsky with that incredulous look on his face. Mr. Blond: Da fock yoo on 'bout? Blondie doesn't, as a general rule, have a particularly high opinion of these serious types; always training, always dedicated to the next challenge. He's heard it all before. He actually rolled his eyes when Sadovsky said "I will fight smaller opponents until it is no longer amazing." as if he understands, as if he knows that it's only going to stop being amazing when he loses too many times, but it just comes out as a somewhat unenthusiastic: Mr. Blond: Blah, blah, blah. |

His heart sinks a little when she mentions Emily, it typically hasn't been a good sign in their relationship when that woman's mentioned. It usually either means Blink's about to be beaten or she's already been beaten, and she's suffering whatever whim Emily has. Kamen still doesn't understand it, she is at least a decent trainer but is she really worth all of the abuse Blink has to endure? Is it really worth it if you're always barely able to put forth the efforts you've learned because your trainer's beaten you silly? Least Skull would give him time to rest, time to heal. She's not even afforded that. If we were able to see, Kamen's eyebrow arches when Blink brings up the topic of a report, and then quickly hushes said topic. Why would a report get in the way of them spending time together? What is the report about? What's so important about it she has to keep it quiet from him? These are all very good questions and they're all running through his mind when he sits there, thinking of what to say. Then Ariel pulls him out of his chair for a dance... SKR: Oh! I-I'll be right back, Summer! He tries to look behind him at the pink haired girl to let her know that he'll be back, and say something without saying it. The way he says he'll be back is almost sounding like he's trying to apologize to Blink without being rude to Ariel. It would be rather rude of him to apologize to Blink for going off to dance with Ariel right in front of her. Least he can do is wait till maybe Blink and he have a moment alone together to apologize to her for it. So there they are. Ariel and Super Kamen Ranger, dancing. One of the few who are too. It's all rather surprising and confusing when Ariel takes charge, putting them into their proper positions for a dance. It's funny; he had hoped he'd be dancing tonight though this wasn't the partner he had in mind when he thought of it. His hands feel around a little on her back, trying to figure out why it feels so strange for a maid's outfit. The gist is made clear after a few seconds and he stops before he goes reaching at anything too unseemly for public. Then Ariel says everything she does, and man, it's alot for anyone to take in if it were just two people talking. Kamen's got the unfortunate task of trying to take everything in she's saying and still try to dance with her, avoiding any toe stepping motions. What does somebody say to all of that? Where does one begin with all of that she said? It's probably for the best if he simply tries to state his intentions to her. SKR: I-it's okay...how I feel about Emily Stratfield is exactly what I told Summer just now...honest. I'm not sure what to make of Ms. Neville, I trust Summer's judgment and she sounds like she's a good person underneath everything. Alanya seems nice enough from the few times I met her...and Cheer Bear is cute. If there is one thing SKR hates, it's being put on the spot; he never does well under this sort of pressure. It's funny, he can handle the pressures of battle, and he can keep his cool when all the odds are stacked against him in a match. But when he's asked a simple question about his intentions and his feelings, he gets so flustered by it. It probably has something to do with his inexperience in this area, his mentor & partner isn't exactly the feelings sharing type. SKR: I like her, alot and I care about her alot...I wouldn't have kissed her if I didn't. I wouldn't have gone on dates with her if I didn't. I wouldn't have almost killed myself twice if I didn't. M-my intentions are romantic, I'm looking for romance with her too. The music is coming to a close and another song is starting up when he confesses to Ariel his intentions with Blink. Most of it is pretty obvious if one's been paying attention to Blink's and his interactions since the first date the two of them have had. Though he probably would've nearly killed himself twice to save her even if he didn't have feelings for her, it's how he's been trained. He just probably wouldn't have been so invested in her safety & throwing himself out there had she been any other person. As if he's picking up something from Blink already, he stammers a little when he admits his intentions with Blink are romantic ones. |

Sadovsky: You should not speak to pissed off giant in current tone. Frankly my dear, I don't think Mr. Blond gives a damn. Ed Sullivan...I think. That sounds about right. Yeah, I just looked it up. Sadovsky: You are tiny man, drinking drinking alcohol to-- Kimberly: There you are! No longer is the mouse at play as Kimberly, conveniently to this sentence wearing cat ears, tail, and face paint, comes into the scene surprised to see her client sitting at the bar of all places. Kimberly: Are you finished 'ere? You 'ave a...hm? The cat then notices the mouse alone and without further words leaves for her. Rather abrupt, if you ask me. Oh wait, no one's asking. Well I can't help it if I feel lonely! Sadovsky: You should feel same way, Does Kimberly's sudden departure not phase the man? Sadovsky: Opening shows against random teams. You are bigger side show than me, though never to get anywhere. He's not trying to start something, is he? Doesn't Mr. Blond have a Kimberly: Meow. Spotting the blond pulling out Kamen Rangers chair for herself, Blink lets out a sudden gasp as she begins to frantically look around hoping nobody is seeing this. Blink: [size0]M-Miss. Jennifer, please don't sit so close to me! People will get suspicious! Kimberly: I think you grew the suspicion yourself by calling me “Jennifer”, Summer. That's right, she did. With this realization, Blink begins sinking deep into her seat as Kimberly begins laughing mildly, not nearly enough to draw unnecessary attention. Kimberly: Relax, Summer, I'm just a messenger for Honey again. That's...reassuring? Blink allows herself to slide back up in her seat still feeling a little nervous from the fact that her mentor's sister is in such a close proximity to her and in such a casual manner to boot. People would think they were friends. Worse, Emily would think they were friends or at the very least plotting against her. Kimberly: She just wants to know how you are. Blink: [size0]F-fine. Kimberly: Just...fine? Blink starts her response with a shrug of her shoulders and ends off with a nod of the head just wanting this little meeting to end because she knows that there's nothing worse than these two being seen together like this. Kimberly: Wow. Um, okay. Anyway there was something else she wanted me to give you. Blink watches as Kimberly pushes up from her seat and makes her way closer. Closer. Closer. Closer to the point where she's right up close, face to face, resting her hands on points of the chair above Blink's shoulders. Kimberly: Just know this is from her and I'm not going to be imagining you during. Without warning, Kimberly closes her eyes and kisses Blink rather passionately. Ariel: Emily does treat Miss. Madison a little rough, but I can't imagine a time since being with her that she's ever missed a match due to one of those beatings. As cruel as she is, Emily isn't cruel to the point that she would hurt Miss. Madison so close to a big name match. So...I guess there's that. Miss. Madison doesn't seem to mind her though... A troubled expression because, like almost everyone else out there who has shared their opinion on the matter, Ariel wishes the union between those two would end once more. Then things seem to perk up with Ariel. Ariel: I guess Miss. Madison really likes you back though. She's working on a new system, something that would run alongside her “Lady” system. The “Sir” system and she's been talking about making you the first. She hasn't told you about it yet because she's waiting for approval, but every time she asks it's always the same violent answer. That's how she got the... She doesn't say it, she just gestures to a spot by her eye indicating she means that cut on Blink's face just by her eye. Ariel: I'm sure you noticed that one. I don't think the “Sir” system is going to get approval but Miss. Madison is still really excited about it. That's kinda why Emily's been so rough on her lately. At least I gave the song they were dancing to. Ariel: Listen, you really seem to like Miss. Madison, so can I ask you to do something? It's alright if you tell her I told you about it, but can you please talk Miss. Madison out of her “Sir” system? She won't listen to me about it and I'm afraid that if she keeps bringing it up to Emily the way she has been... Again there's the note of tenderness and massive concern in her voice. If Kamen Ranger wasn't so oblivious to these sorts of things he would figure that he's dancing with the competition over Blink's heart. Is that why she asks him to do this? In order to keep Blink healthy Kamen Ranger has to destroy a dream of hers. Nice. |

If Kamen didn't have his Deku mask on, Ariel would see that he is sharing in her troubled expression. It is an awful thing to say but it is true, at least there is that to consider when one thinks about Emily and her relationship with Blink. He does admit, as bad as it's been, it's never been to the point where it's kept Blink from competing in her matches. Maybe severely put her at a disadvantage during the matches but it's never been to the point where she's been told she's unable to compete. Is he actually accepting Emily's treatment of Blink? Strange day. SKR: You do have a point... There isn't much he can bring himself to say about the subject; he's still trying to cling to how much it bothers him. But Ariel's argument is a logical one and it's hard to debate it, and so it's leaving him feeling like she has a valid point. One that's valid enough to maybe change his point of view on the relationship Emily and Blink are in. All the more so since Blink is so accepting of the way Emily treats her...is it really that simple? Then Ariel stirs him from his thoughts on that matter when she brings up one he didn't even know existed. There are two very conflicting emotions that are running through him, delight and horror, and they're trying to battle it out to see who wins. Delight that she likes him back, likes him back so much that she's willing to create a system like that for him specifically. It's such a flattering gesture that perhaps if he wasn't wearing his mask; Ariel could see he's blushing over the gesture that's been revealed to him. But it's not all rainbows and candy, there's horror over the fact that it's been leading to the beatings Emily's given Blink recently. Not only because of how bad they've been, it's also because of the fact that in a roundabout way, it's because of him. It's him she's fighting for against Emily, in a sense, and it's him she's taking these beatings for again & again to try to get approval of the request. How is someone capable of handling the burden of knowing someone you care about is taking these beatings for you? SKR: ..I..I...I..I...I The Inter-Galactic Hero is trying to talk and yet all that is coming out is a stammer at the maid he's dancing with. He can't help it, this knowledge is overwhelming for both good and bad reasons, and he's trying to cope with what's been told to him. Kamen shakes his head, trying to pull himself together so that they are able to continue this conversation. It is kind of an important one. SKR: I'll do it. You needn't ask, Ariel. This isn't something I'd consider a favor. I'd have done this even if you hadn't asked it of me. Here is the Super Kamen Ranger most know and Blink is able to see sometimes, when she doesn't throw him for a loop. There's stern determination in his words, conviction that only someone who is on a mission could have to what they have to say. His resolve is strong on the matter and he's made up his mind, for Blink's sake, for all of her friends' sakes, and for his own sake. Kamen knows it isn't going to be easy and he knows it might hurt Blink though it'll be less painful than what's Emily's doing. He's got to do this. |

Mr. Blond: Tcheh. That's what Blondie thinks of the idea that he shouldn't talk to Sadovsky like that. I suppose he thinks that if Sadovsky was going to do anything, Blondie would already be down on the floor by now. The appearance of a cat-girl bemuses him for a moment, but he soon finds his stride again. Mr. Blond: Better'n goin' down, down, down... Like Blondie's beer. That's gone down. Get that man another one. |

Sadovsky pushes himself away from the bar after finishing his drink. No further words are said though when the beer is slid toward Mr. Blond's direction, Sadovsky acts as the goalie intercepting with a hand before grabbing it, picking it up, and dropping it to the floor. Sadovsky: Butter finger. Okay, now it's official. He is trying to start something. The kiss finishes and Kimberly straightens back up first addressing some stray hairs looking as though she wishes she didn't have to deliver that kind of message. Blink, on the other hand, still seems a little shocked then nervous then as things begin to make sense to her again she starts to worry. Nobody saw this, right? Nobodies just going to run up to Emily and tell her the news, are they? Kimberly: Little afraid to ask, but anything to say in return? Blink: [size0]Th-thank you. She just wants to speed this thing along, send Kimberly on her way, stop any rumours from formulating, that whole thing. Obviously it's no skin off Kimberly's nose as the relieved kitty takes her leave of the table knowing that Blink isn't going to want to have a full fledged conversation with her or anything. Ariel: Thank you. She says with a hug before taking hold of Kamen Ranger's hand and leading him off the dance floor back toward the table. She knows the proceding is going to hurt but... Ariel: Miss. Madison? Blink, who had still been watching where Kimberly left, quickly turns around nervously but calms when she sees it's just Ariel and Kamen Ranger approaching her. She even smiles a little over the fact that her friends have come back. That doesn't help Ariel's expression any but what must be done needs to be done. The maid quickly glances toward Kamen Ranger indicating that however he plans on saying it, now's the time. |

Kamen shakes his head and he's about to tell her you're welcome when he's caught off guard by what does she next to him. These two have met for the first time tonight and so he hadn't counted on something like a hug happening between the two of them. Even if both of them had been aware of the other's existence for a while, due to their connection and watching promotional materials. Still, it's a nice surprise and one that he returns in kind to the maid that's only trying to look out for Blink. SKR: You're welcome. He says it in a hushed tone and he allows her to lead him from the dance floor, their dancing now over. The masked man should be nervous about what he has to do; it isn't like this is going to be painless or even easy for either of them. There's a calm to his actions and to his thoughts about it though, it's simply something that needs to be done. Blink's health, and her safety, depends on this and that's all the motivation he needs to be able to do what must be done here. Kamen hopes she can forgive him. His hand slips out of Ariel's grasp and he takes several steps forward, eliminating the distance between Blink & himself. The hand is now out stretched for Blink, resting in her eye line, he's extending it for her to either refuse or accept his offer. Kamen hasn't made the offer yet though by the way he's hunching over ever so slightly, almost in a bow, it isn't hard to piece together. They are at a party, there is a ballroom dance floor, and she is someone he likes after all, it's pretty simple math. SKR: Summer, may I please have this dance? The question is asked, he doesn't know entirely why though he is quite happy right now and it shows in how he sounds when he asks her. It might have to do with what he's been told, that he matters alot to her and so much that she's built this system for him. Also it might have to do with the fact that for once, their evening doesn't look like it's going to be ruined by drama or masked men attacking them. Tonight is a night where Blink and Kamen are going to be able to simply enjoy each other's company, and possibly dance. Albeit a curious choice is made by the DJ for the next song |

Kimberly: What are you doing? She asks approaching both Mr. Blond and Sadovsky, though her question is more so directed toward her client who still eyes the cowboy. Sadovsky: Ending boredom. Blink eyes the hand for a moment and then looks over toward Ariel as if for some kind of encouragement for either decision. The blond maid tries hard to mask her worried expression for what's about to happen with a smile as she nods her head gesturing to the Bad Girl that it's alright for them to have this time alone. Therefore, Blink accepts Kamen Ranger's hand and is gently led to her feet and then to the dance floor. They pause as Blink looks a little confused over what to do here. Languages, fighting, even floral arrangement, and Blink doesn't know how to dance. Blink: [size0]I'm sorry, I don't know what to do here. I'm just gonna go ahead and have SKR help Blink by placing her hands where they need to be. It's a romance, not a sex scene so they're nowhere where they shouldn't be. Now that they're into the swing of the music, Blink lets out a tiny giggle. Blink: [size0]Lady Emily never lets me dance, she says it's a wasted lesson. But...this is nice. So nice that Blink lets herself flow through the motions Kamen Ranger creates, which is nice considering that he was led by Ariel in their dancing. As a matter of fact Blink seems to become so comfortable in his arms that she slowly rests her head down gently on the top of his shoulder and closes her eyes. Now would be a horrible time for Emily to come charging in reminding Blink of what she needs to be doing, wouldn't it? Well guess what... Blink: [size0]I shouldn't be talking to you about this, She doesn't show. Blink: [size0]At least not until I get the approval of Lady Emily, but I was thinking of starting a new system. One that goes with the “Lady” pact deals. Wow, she's certainly making it easier for him by bringing it up herself. And here I'm sure Kamen Ranger was thinking on how he was going to bring it up. Now it's just his response he needs to work on and deliver to such a degree that can allow Blink to feel differently enough about her plan that she stops making the request. Blink: [size0]I've tried every point I could think of on why it would be a good idea, but Lady Emily insists that I forget about it. That's why I'm glad you're here, you can come with me the next time and we can both plead the case for a “Sir” set of pact deals. You already seem enough on her good side, He is? Oh right, him telling Blink to work on her speech impediment and low tone of voice after he was “requested” to. Blink: [size0]So can you please come and help me with this? She's back enough away from him to show her smile but still close enough to be in his arms. She's really excited about getting this thing off the ground and is clearly putting all of her hopes in Kamen Ranger and his already showing attitude toward helping her. Blink: [size0]I know this is just a burden to your time, and I apologize sin-cere-ly for that, but... But finally it seems as though she's starting to open up to him. To request she cancel her plan would mean that she would scurry back into her shell again possibly this time to never come out. Once bitten and twice shy. Then again if he agrees...Emily's never been above beating Blink is front of anyone before. Once more he could just be leading her right into another savage “correction”. |

Doesn't Sadovsky know there's free booze at these things? All he's done is ruin a perfectly good bottle of beer. For a second, Blondie looks down at the wreckage and shrugs. Mr. Blond: Fockin' hate dat piss anyways. Besides, he got a few down him already, so maybe his throat isn't so parched any more. Maybe that's why he's scratching it as he eyes Sadovsky with the classic Mr. Blond laugh, the really irritating... Mr. Blond: Hur Hur Hur. |

Kamen's eyes drift between Blink and Ariel, trying to get a feeling for what's going on here and if his offer's going to be accepted. He realizes she's waiting for Ariel's approval and once she has it, she takes his hand and the two are hand in hand. It's been a while since they've been able to hold hands like these, actually, probably not since their first date have they. The sensation certainly doesn't feel bad and it makes him make a mental note to wear his gloves less often around her. Gently and slowly he leads the pink haired girl out onto the dance floor, as if he's leading a child out onto it. Not that he thinks or sees Blink as such, simply using the same amount of care with her as most would reserve for such cases. He realizes things have been bumpy lately with them, the last time they saw each other...they really saw each other. Also there was the whole business of her nearly killing herself, and apologizing for something she wouldn't specify. It's when they're on the dance floor he notices how confused she looks, getting a suspicion as to why. This suspicion is confirmed by her and he lowers his head, instinctively trying to hide the smile it is causing him to have. Good thing he has a mask on, it makes it impossible to see anyways. Somehow it figures that with all of her training in so many fields, dancing would be the one she's got a blind spot in. SKR: It's okay, I'll lead. He shakes his head at her apology, sounding not mad, rather amused at this turn of events and he's happy to help her. Carefully he takes hold of her hands and he places them on his shoulders, and his own hands find her hips, thinking this is probably the better position for them. If she knew what she was doing, he might put them on her lower back but this way it's easier for him to guide her through the dance. They're a little awkward at first, adapting to this, eventually they find their groove and they're dancing as well as a somewhat experienced dancer & a novice can. The giggle surprises him a little; he hadn't been expecting Blink to laugh tonight with everything that's happened. It makes him glad she can though, that things aren't that badly messed up between the two of them after the past few weeks. After the way she had been acting when he first arrived, he wasn't sure if he had hurt her, and that things had been damaged. His talk with Ariel helped ease that worry a little in him, after hearing how highly Blink thinks of him apparently. SKR: Yes, it is. Pretty much anything with you is though, Summer. The topic of Emily's opinion on dancing is one Kamen considers responding to, mentioning how good dancing is. How many material arts and many styles of dance have some strong similarities in how they operate, and how they're structured. He's even read about a few styles that encompass both, turning the martial arts into a form of dance and vice versa. But it's probably for the best if he doesn't try to stir the pot any about Blink's trainer and her opinions. No need to cause potential trouble. He instead focuses on her comment about how nice this is, and he agrees, it's very nice to be dancing with her. It's who he had thought about and had been hoping he'd be dancing with tonight at the party, no offense to Ariel. So he chimes in a soft voice, concurring with her sentiment and expanding upon his own thoughts to her. They've had some rough times, and some unhappy times, still, them doing nearly anything together outside of that has been nice. Least from his point of view it has been. Then something unexpected happens, the Bad Girl leans forward and she rests her head on his shoulder. He tenses a little, though it's probably unnoticeable to Blink, and he glances over at his shoulder to see the mouse mask staring back at him. It's only the mouse mask staring at him because Blink's closed her eyes, giving him complete control and letting him guide her body in their dance. As nice as it is, he has to confess, it does make trying to talk to her about what he has to a little hard... Especially when she's looking so peaceful and cute on his shoulder. Color him surprise when Blink lifts her head up so that she can start the topic, and boy does she ever. He has to admit, he isn't sure which is more painful, how excited she is now or how heartbroken it seems like she'll be in a second. His resolve remains the same through most of what she says, it isn't easy but he wants to protect Blink. Ariel's right, if she keeps doing this, Emily's going to keep punishing her and it seems like they're getting progressively worse. He wants to protect Blink... But this is one of the few times she's ever really opened up to him, fully and without hesitation. They've had their moments, never like this before though, there's always been a little bit of Blink left in those moments they've had. They are the little reminders in those moments that things aren't completely kosher and that there is still some gap between them. Who knows if she'd ever open up again if he shoots this down, and he tries to persuade her to not bring it up to Emily anymore... The Interstellar Insect looks over at their table, at Ariel. He said he's going to protect Blink and that's exactly what he's going to do. If she trusts him this much, hopefully she is able to trust him some more. SKR: Summer, don't apologize, I'd love to come and help you with this. I’m sure we can figure something out. That's quite the opposite of what he told Ariel he'd do, and he seems quite happy to say it while they're dancing. Gently he continues to guide them in their dancing, slowly moving towards a few pillars on the left side of the ballroom that help support the ceiling. There are a matching set over on the right side but they don't matter, Kamen and Blink are dancing towards the left side's pillars. If one didn't know any better, one would guess SKR's trying to lead them to behind the pillars for some reason. |
