Deep in the heart of Paris, France our scene takes place at an unknown location though judging by the terrible painting on the wall, it's a hotel room. The two generic beds, the generic floral design patterns on the walls and on the carpet are also dead giveaways this is a hotel room. Besides that, it's a relatively nice looking hotel room, it has a couch, it has a little kitchen station with a mini-fridge and a microwave. It's got a television and it's also got a wardrobe closest next to a desk, in case the person staying here has any business to attend to.

The Phantom Skull is sitting at said desk, looking over information on his laptop that's sitting on the desk. What information is he browsing, you ask? It isn't Busty Asian Beauties, it's information on the men that are known as Christian Cruz & Rurik Krychek. They have another name they're going by this week, the Seigi Sentai's opponents in the main event of the upcoming ReVolt. It's a fairly big deal.

Rurik Krychek, the current FIW Grand Prix winner and the man that's challenging for the FIW Dual Crown Championship at Violence Fetish. There's something else he is doing there, something else that's far more important to Skull, it's the Cibernetico. He's the rival captain, a rival captain that's not even put any of his team together for the match when they've already assembled half their team. It shouldn't worry him, it was bound to happen, Krychek's a loner, and yet it worries him a little. He wonders if maybe the Russian's got something up his sleeve and he's keeping quiet about it.

The Seigi Sentai and he have never had the pleasure of meeting in the ring till this Sunday, why it's so important. Rurik Krychek went out of his way to try to slander them in an effort to recruit some members for his team, an effort that seemed to bomb. Still, some of his argument could be seen as valid if he comes out victorious here, when the stakes are far less. If they’re vicious here though, it could be used to attract the few still remaining people on their list for their team for theCibernetico match. It could also grant them possibly a slight psychological edge over the man.

As much as Rurik would probably love it, he can't be their sole focus.

There is another threat.

His tag team partner for this match, his former comrade.

The FIW Dual Crown Champion.

Christian Cruz and the Seigi Sentai have met before, in the only time before this Sunday they've been in the main event of a ReVolt. The FIW World Tag Team Champions bested the Young Lion then and beat his pet to win the match for their team. Now the man's hurt, having been attacked by an unknown entity, possibly sent in to do the job for whatever reason by William Reign himself. Normally this is an advantage, one of your opponents is going into a match already wounded, easy target. It should help ease Skull's mind, make things easier for the strategy he's already devising to ensure victory for them.

As much as he doesn't like the man, he has to give Christian Cruz credit for his abilities in the ring. It isn't by chance or like he stumbled into his FIW Dual Crown Championship reign, and he's taken down several big names in FIW along the way. It's this that causes him to worry about Cruz in the coming match; they say an animal is most dangerous when it's wounded. How dangerous, then, could a man like Christian Cruz be if he's walking into France already less than a hundred percent? Last thing they need is to become the lion's feast.

There are other factors that are troubling him too, William Reign, a man that's kingdom is crumbling around him. He's already shown what a desperate man, trying to cling to his power, is willing to do to maintain his status quo. It isn't out of the realm of possibility he may involve himself in this match, whether himself or through a vessel. It doesn't matter if it would benefit them; Skull has little desire to soil the concept of battle by having a politician like Reign play his games.

The other factor, one that could put them at a disadvantage, is one that reared its head last week on them. It is none other than Mr. Blond II and Takeshi Sunshine, a.k.a. the Sunshine Crew, a.k.a. the Blond Outlaws, a.k.a. the Ghosts from the Seigi Sentai's Recent Past. They decided to strike when an opporutunity presented itself and they almost had them in a dire position after their match. If Roberto hadn't aided them, for his own selfish reasons, they might've been limping into this week's match...

So many elements to this equation...

One, that's been long standing now, he's still a little uneasy about.

The bathroom door opens and Super Kamen Ranger comes out, dressed in his civilian clothing. His custom mask that's got the mouth area exposed is the one he's wearing today, having taken off his usual mask. Underneath the black track jacket with pink trim is the vintage Time Bandits t-shirt, the first one that Max Rowley had made. Further down on his person, he's wearing relatively nice looking blues jeans and a pair of black tennis shoes with pink shoe laces.

PS: Going out?

Kamen, who had been heading over to the mirror, is startled when he hears his partner's low monotone voice. It isn't like he had been unaware Skull's here, rather he had expected him to be busy with coming up with a plan for their match. Even to him, the one person close to him, Skull isn't exactly what one could label as the talkative type. So the fact that he's actually making an effort to engage in a conversation that isn't about fighting is interesting, albeit troubling too.

SKR: Yeah, I'm going out with Summer, remember? Told you how we wanted to go sightseeing.

The Inter-Galactic Hero shrugs his shoulders and he replies casually while checking his reflection. He had already told his partner about it, so this isn't some new development he's just now finding out about seconds before he does it. Everything important about it, in SKR's eyes, Skull knows, that is pretty much what he just told the masked man again. Blink and he are going out for the night to go sightseeing in Paris, and that's the plan if everything works out well.

This answer makes Skull scowl though not his usual scowl of general grumpiness or even the one he usually has in reference to Blink. That scowl is more about general annoyance and slight anger he has towards the woman, and what he thinks of her. No, this scowl is similar to his standard one, except there's something else to it, it's subtle but it's there nevertheless. If one didn't know any better, they might mistake it for the tiniest hint of worry in the masked man's scowl.

SKR: Don't worry, it'll only be a few hours of fun. I'm not going to blow off us having such a big match this week. We're in the main event, again, and we're facing the two men the entire Dual Crown division is centered around right now! I know we got to plan and we got to train our butts off to be ready for it. Doesn't mean we can't live a little and not focus all our energy on it the entire time, does it?

He waves off his team mate's scowl, trying his best to reassure him over what he thinks is the issue Skull's having. Truthfully, he's probably more nervous about the match than his tag team partner is, considering whom it is they're facing. Excitement wise, they're probably around the same though it would be hard to tell either of them is excited by looking at them right now. The prospect they have this week of facing the FIW Dual Crown Champion and his number one contender? Yeah, that's a challenge SKR would die for.

Course, he doesn't actually expect an answer from the question he poses to his team mate. He already knows what his answer would be anyways. Skull would stiffen up, get all grumpy and grumble about how training is what's important to the two of them. How a single hour of training can be the difference for them between a loss and a victory, especially with their competition this week. That all energy is to be channeled into the heart of fighting, that this match is decided by who wants it more.

The Interstellar Insect would never admit it to him but most of why he's nervous centers around Rurik Krychek. He's a man that they've never faced before, a man that's going to be standing across from them on the battlefield at Violence Fetish. The closest Kamen's ever gotten to the man is watching him at the Drake Love Invitational earlier this year, a tournament Krychek lost. It's also a tournament that he went on to win the entire thing of though to Krychek's credit, he won the runner-up prize.

There's no denying the man's intelligence, it's infamous in the professional wrestling world, regardless of which country you're in. It's almost as infamous as some of the wicked deeds the Russian's done in his time, in his career as a professional wrestler. But Kamen knows he isn't invincible, no one is, and there's proof Krychek isn't with the Drake Love Invitational footage that's out there. It was there where the mighty mind fell at the hands of a combination of both brain & brawn...

...The very same combination Kamen beat in the finals.

Could mean the FIW World Tag Team Champion is Krychek's better, could mean he got lucky MACE drew Krychek & he didn't.

Guess he'll find out Sunday.

For now...

SKR: Anyways, we'll talk more about it when I get back. See you later.

After he's gotten a look at himself, he's as ready as he'll ever be for this, and so he nods his head to his reflection. He gives another small wave to Skull, who barely acknowledges the wave in the form of this weird grunt noise he makes at it. SKR heads for the door, opening it and he pauses at the doorway for a second to peak back over his shoulder at his partner. Hoping he's okay, Kamen rushes out and he closes the door behind him, off to go meet up with a certain pink haired girl.

PS: Be safe.

It comes out more as a command than a nice sentiment as the door is being closed shut by Super Kamen Ranger. Though judging by the look on his masked face when he says it, it's meant to be more of the latter than the former. This just isn't his thing, saying things like that, things that are bordering on something someone with emotions would say. So it comes out a little odd when he's trying to say it. Once the boy is gone, his attention returns to the laptop, back to work...
