Super Kamen Ranger's standing outside of a hotel, watching people come and go as they pass him by. Some people are coming in to check in; staying here for whatever business brings them to this neck of the woods. Some people are going out, either checking out & leaving their stay here behind them or simply going out for a bit. Maybe it's to go sightseeing, maybe it's to take care of some business they have here in Paris, France. Why is our masked hero here? That's simple. It's Blink. To be more precise, he told the proper channels that would pass the message along to her that he'd meet her outside her hotel. So here he is, waiting on the pink haired girl to come out so that they can begin their evening together in the City of Love. He had walked from his own hotel all the way over here; it only took about a half an hour though he didn't mind the distance. It gave him the chance to take in some of the sights & sounds this wonderful city has to offer, and see some of the people. They're by far the most interesting thing to him about the place, the people here, the culture they live by existing in their everyday lives. He isn't sure if she intentionally chose this hotel, if she did, it was really a brilliant move on her part to do so. It's located in the Saint Denis district and they're not too far away from where they were told to go visit to have a chat with this mystery man. This is going to make it so easy to get there, all they have to do is walk a little ways and they'll be there, ready and on time for their meeting. Though if Blink doesn't feel up to walking, they could always grab a cab over there he figures. The questions that are floating around in his head aren't about this secret gathering of minds they're doing. Rather his thoughts are all on the girl that's in the FSC round robin tournament and what she's been up to the past few days. He isn't sure how she truly took his actions at the Halloween party, and then there's their farewell at said party. She, without saying it, let him know he had left her with alot to consider and to think about and typically that means decisions to make. If that is the case, it makes him a little nervous. Though that brings a whole slew of new thoughts, why is he so nervous about Blink having alot to think about? Is he afraid she's suddenly going to change her mind and no longer want to spend time with him anymore? Is he afraid of rejection? Why would that suddenly matter to him now? He doesn't understand, he had feelings budding for her dating back a while ago now and it's only now he starts to feel this way. Nervous. A little scared. There had always been a comforting thought in his head that if she wasn't interested, they could always be friends. He could always support her in whatever she decides to do or whom to pursue, as long as she'd be happy, he'd be happy for her. It didn't matter if she went another way, or if she wanted to keep her options open and pursue multiple choices she had. The thought of her even doing that itself, seeing other people, doesn't bother him now. It's only when the stipulation of her having no interest in him is added it does... ..Could it be.. Somewhere along the way in all of this, he's become invested more than he had thought he had been? That because he's opened up so much to her in comparison to everyone else he's dealt with, it's made him scared of what's to come. Scared that she might push away the man that's living beneath the literal mask so many others see every day. Scared that she might like the man with the mask and not the one without it... He's getting ahead of himself. Right now, all he should be worried about is trying to make sure tonight is fun for them. Afterall, the only thing he is capable of doing at this present time is wait... Wait for Blink. |

The Hotel Ibis Paris Saint-Denis Stade de France Ouest is indeed close to the intended location, but it's one Blink never chose. It is neither one Emily, staying in the Hotel Meurice assigned her. Steele Media, in accordance to the contract worked out with Full Intensity Wrestling, has paid for Blink's room and it's only by a mere coincidence that it happens to be in this location. The fact that it's one of the cheaper locations is also a coincidence...or so they would tell Blink if she ever enquired. Kamen Ranger must have been waiting a long while and that's because Blink isn't coming from the hotel but from the direction of the Stade du France. She had hoped she would be able to get back to her hotel in time and come out as requested but things in her dressing room required her attention. So when she sees Kamen Ranger standing outside the hotel looking around and waiting she...well, you know the deal by now. No, no, no, she doesn't start crying but she looks almost ready to as she approaches Kamen Ranger from a direction he probably didn't expect her to come from doing what he should come to expect from her; bows. Blink: Je suis tel-le-ment désolé! [size0]I. .. Je sais que je devais vous ren-con-tr-er ici, mais j'avais besoin de signer pour mon dressing et ... I'm so sorry! I. .. I know that I should meet you here, but I needed to sign for my dressing room and ... A lie? No, Blink wouldn't just out lie to Kamen Ranger as it makes sense. Steele Media would need to have absolute confirmation that she's where she's supposed to be as traditionally they don't film her during her travels, as they don't have contracts with all transport companies out there. So some private time...at least until she goes to sign the form at her dressing room, which is actually as soon as she either touch downs or gets off the bus. That's a difference between her and Catherine; where as Catherine is rather hesitant to sign the form Blink feels that she has to. Upon straightening up, Blink takes a moment to adjust her rabbit ears only to look a little stunned. It's the first time she ever thought of what Kamen Ranger might think of her attire. The faded pink coloured jeans and sneakers are alright, but what about the black Time Bandit's t-shirt? He doesn't think she's showing too much favour to her opponent this week, does he? What would he think if he knew she had acquired a mass collection of Max Rowley T-shirts, all paid for from her own pocket, probably one that far surpasses Scotty's? I say probably, because does he even own one? She even owns the “Fear the Sandwich” t-shirt, in pink, and the entire holiday greeting card collection. But those are beside the point. And then her rabbit ears. Her rabbit ears, for crying out loud! The one on Kamen Ranger's right is crooked, whether by choice or simply because the wire in there is broken, and it's either cute or pathetically cute. Or poor. Does he think she's poor? There was that stint when she was living in her dressing room, twice actually. Though it was someone else who came to her the second time. Oh god, Blink had never thought of this. Is Kamen Ranger just the next? The next what? The next chance? The next in a line of well wishers and protectors? Someone that says, with all their heart, that they'll be near her and then leave her so abruptly you'd think they were abandoning her. Given her current state, could she stand that? First it was Ignacio, then Neo, Nikita, Valiente seems the next...the more Blink thinks on it the more she realizes, in her own sense, that the problem couldn't have lied elsewhere. With each one she made the problem, with each one they left because of her. Ignacio wanted to be a member of the Bad Girls. Sure maybe he didn't quite get the concept or really know what he was getting involved in, but he at the very least knew he would be teaming with Blink and helping her to keep hold of the tag team title belts. His first outing wasn't with Blink but with Catherine. Blink was too busy screwing him over by getting herself stabbed defending Pixie. She'll never forgive herself for that one. But that wasn't the worst of it, the worst of it came when he and Blink teamed on non-title affairs, something Blink never thought would happen. It was a waste of his time, he was annoyed, and he left. Mind you we're looking at this from Blink's perspective. Upon his departure in came Valiente with promises of a shinning friendship and actions as a saviour against the supposed evil that was her mentor. He kept up with both offering friendly advice and keeping her from harms way. That is until the title, their glue as it were, was stripped away from them. He left, quickly found a replacement, and severed his ties with the pathetic loser that was his partner. And yet here she is, standing next to the man who was responsible for all of that. The single greatest defeat in her career and it's to the man she's dated three times (this being the third), kissed twice, and even nearly had sex with. Has she no shame? It's no wonder Valiente left her sorry ass. Darren most likely feels the same way after hearing the tales from the masked luchadore. Blink can't exactly understand why Neo left, though it must have something to do with her broken promise. Guest spot, guest spot, guest spot. How many times did she forget for her own personal desires? When she kissed him, was he thinking “guest spot”? Holding his hand walking through the park, was he thinking “guest spot”? It's bad to think that Neo was simply using Blink to get a one time spot on the show, but it's even worse for Blink as she was indeed using him to get in a romantic thrill. Everything she wanted to do, every problem she wanted to discuss, everything was about her. Her, her, her. Now she knows why he left, I mean wouldn't you leave someone as controlling and manipulative as Blink? And here she was about to bring Kamen Ranger into the same boat, expelling her problems onto him as though he even cared. He wouldn't, Blink would just become a burden and he'd leave. And we already know why Nikita left. Distrust. Distrust in Blink and annoyance of the girltalk. While she was the head cheerleader, Blink was just the nerdy girl clutching the textbooks to her never increasing in size chest, afraid that others would notice that physical deformity. Nikita put up with her, tolerated her, was her friend for public image sake. “So sweet for doing that.” Blink isn't angry, she isn't even upset, she knew it's what she was. The lowest form of existence, a leech looking to attach herself to Nikita's rising star. Nikita grew to understand this, realize this, and in turn left Blink. So what will Kamen Ranger's excuse be? What will Blink do to fully push this man aside until he has enough and finally push back? Her attire? Blink: [size0]Je suis ... je suis seul à porter ce parce que, euh, I. .. Je ne ... je sais ce n'est pas jeudi, [size0] mais j'aime vraiment les porter. Je suis vraiment désolé si cela vous dérange. I'm...I'm only wearing this because, um, I...I don't...I know it's not Thursday, but I really like wearing them. I'm really sorry if it bothers you. Nervously, Blink reaches for her rabbit ears rubbing her fingers against the texture in such a way that would only really be noticeable if they knew she was actually doing it. Or just watching her fingers for a while, not that there's eye contact to be made as she's glancing toward the ground. Blink: [size0]Je vais les enlever s'ils le font. I'll take them off if they do. She's accommodating with the attire, yes, but what about the language? It's impressive that she's fluent in the language but...wait, is that why he'll leave her? Because she's a show off? Wearing a Time Bandits t-shirt must show that she has money to spend, being paid by two companies shows she's able to support not only herself but her opponents as well. Will she start paying for Mad Dawg's whores next? Therefore, only one thought comes to Blinks mind as she reaches her hands down crossing her arms over her stomach and gripping hold of the bottom of her t-shirt. Blink: [size0]Je vais ... je vais prendre ce hors trop ... si vous voulez. I'll...I'll take this off too...if you want. That's all well and good, but you've still got the problem of your outlandish-inlandish style of speech. Speaking this way...it's like she's trying to talk above Kamen Ranger, use a language he might not fully understand and that would either make him feel out of the loop or dumb. Maybe he'll think she's insulting him and laughing to herself about it. Most people do that, approach someone (say a cashier at a store) and begin speaking a different language talking about either the cashier's ass or breasts...then the cashier responds in the same tongue. Those are always great moments. Blink: L-Lady Emily m'a dit que cette semaine ... cette semaine je devais suivre mes études pour mon mauvais trai-te-ments à ses con-fér-en-ces la semaine dernière. L-Lady Emily told me that this week...this week I should keep up with my studies for my abuse to her lectures last week. She's still gripping tightly to the bottom of her shirt looking like she really means to pull it off her body if requested. Same goes for the rabbit ears, though she isn't handling them right now she will if asked to take those things off. Blink: [size0]Je ne lui dois beaucoup pour ce la façon dont j'ai traité la semaine dernière. I do owe her this much for the way I treated her last week. Her grip loosens but it's still there on the edge of her shirt just waiting for the command...that is if Kamen Ranger was even able to understand it. Maybe he just thinks she wants to strip in front of him, maybe it's a way of her telling him that she will murderize Archibald P. Leatherby this weekend. Wait, why is she just wearing a t-shirt? Ask Emily, it's her punishing details. I. .. Je veux vraiment garder Lady Emily heureux. It's not for you trying to protect me, I really do appreciate that. It's for skipping out on my training. She blames my lack of focus on the losses I've begun accumulating. So...I hope you don't mind. I...I really want to keep Lady Emily happy. So this is their date. Even without Emily around it seems Kamen Ranger can really do nothing to protect Blink from her punishments. Let's just hope that Kamen Ranger understands enough of the language to keep up, otherwise Blink will be standing by holding onto her shirt for some time. |

Super Kamen Ranger is waiting a long time, and he's starting to worry a little about Blink & where she is. Should he go inside, maybe check with the front desk to see if she's in or if they can check on her for him? If she isn't though, where would he even begin to start looking for her? His first thought would be she's in danger though that might not be entirely true; she might be doing a Steele Media thing. He casually turns around to glance back out at the area surrounding the hotel when he sees Blink approaching him. His mouth hangs a little from the surprise of her coming not from the hotel but from wherever it is she's just arrived from! So she did go somewhere else, hm, he wonders where she ran off to before their big meeting with each other. Guess, in the end, it doesn't really matter where she ran off to, she's here now and there's still enough time to make it to where they need to be. Kamen waves his hand and he tries to tell her it's okay but she keeps talking, blocking any chance he has to say anything. Not that he minds really, she was talking and if she still had more to say, he's the one in the wrong to try to talk. Besides, he never minds when Blink's got something to say, even if that something's in French as the case may be. She does such wonderful things for the language, he must admit, it makes him almost wish he couldn't understand. So he could simply appreciate what she's saying for how pretty it is. Her trying to explain why she's wearing what she's wearing and trying to apologize for it almost makes him laugh. If he didn't think she'd take it badly, he just might've laughed at how silly she is being about what she's wearing. He doesn't mind anything she's wearing, if anything, they sort of match each other today. Kamen's wearing his own Time Bandits t-shirt and jeans, and a black track jacket with pink trim & black tennis shoes with pink shoe laces. Somebody was clearly on his mind when he got dressed today. In spite of knowing exactly what she's saying to him, SKR's confused when her hands shift from her bunny ears to her shirt. That confusion is cleared up quickly and if any more of his face was visible, she'd see he's blushing over her suggestion. Not that it would be anything new to him, he's already seen her in her bra before, the night the two of them went on patrol together. Still, it isn't like their boyfriend and girlfriend, it would be a little awkward to see her like that. More so in public. Shockingly, for some reason, his knowledge of the French language is failing him when he tries to respond. He wants to tell her to let go of her shirt and yet his mind's struggling to form the sentence properly to say it. The image she's giving him is probably helping that and it's helping something else for the pink haired girl too. It's allowing her to get out everything she has to say to him, even explaining why she's talking in French today. SKR: It's okay, Summer, everything's fine, I don't mind anything. I like your bunny ears, I think they're cute. The Inter-Galactic Hero remembers, oh right, I can just talk in English, and he does that to make it simpler on his brain. He shakes his head at her, smiling and he takes a few steps closer to her to get rid of the distance between them. Since they've jumped straight into the conversation, Kamen decides to hug her hello instead of saying it. He figures, by now, they're close enough that it's okay for him to hug her without her getting weird about it or feeling uncomfortable. SKR: Also don't mind the shirt, I'm rooting for you this week. Blink may or may not know that Kamen's a pretty big fan of Max Rowley and the Time Bandits, almost as big of a fan as he used to be for Neo Carner. So it says something about how much Blink means to him that despite wearing their shirt, he's rooting for her this week. Course, it isn't that shocking, he's far more emotionally invested on a personal level with Blink than he is with them. He's hoping she can break through this losing streak she's in right now more than probably anyone, besides herself. |

Blink:
[size0]M-merci. Thank you. Blink's primary reaction after voicing her thanks is to release hold of her shirt. So...we aren't going to get to see what kind of bra she's wearing today? Well you never know, if Kamen ranger plays his cards right we just might see a little more than that. Not that I think she would say “no” if he asked, the only thing she'd probably ask is how and where. Right here? Doggy style? Alright. Does that make her a slut? To be so willing in doing these kinds of things with him? Anyone else she might be a little hesitant toward, though now that she begins thinking on it with a clear head perhaps she'll be a little hesitant to him on this matter as well. Not to be rude...would that still be why he leaves her? And then there was the hug, sure Blink didn't feel awkward by it but her hands were still gripping hold of the bottom of her shirt when he came in. She couldn't react in time, though she certainly now wishes she did. He doesn't hate her now because of that, does he? He isn't about to leave her because she spent more time worrying about herself than actually greeting him, is he? The wardrobe, the language, the whereabouts and why she was late, but not even a single “hello”. Why does she do this? Start with her and her problems? Why couldn't she have just greeted him with a smile? Fix. A fix. That's what this situation needs. Blink: [size0]E-excusez-moi, s'il vous plaît. Je...Je vais être de retour. Je le promets. Excuse me, please. I-I'll be back. I promise. That being her only warning, Blink rushes off toward the hotel lobby entrance just in time for an elderly lady. Is that her reason for doing this? A sudden rush over the need to perform a random act of kindness? The woman thanks her but that's not what Blink came to the doors for. That doesn't mean she doesn't offer the woman a friendly smile before looking toward Kamen Ranger. A nervous expression on her face before she steps inside the hotel. This has to work, she doesn't want to lose him to. Within moments Blink steps out through the doors as planned. This is what she was asked to do and so this is what she will do. She approaches Kamen Ranger looking no different than she did when she first entered. When she's close enough, she bows a little at the waist and begins to wonder why he no longer bows to her in response. She never expected him to nor does she expect anyone to, I mean she only does it because she believes it to be nothing more than a sign of respect. She just liked it when he did it because to her it was cute. In case you're wondering, no, she doesn't believe herself to be fit enough for anyone's respect. But that you can already deduce by the way she carries herself. Blink: [size0]Bonjour, Kamen Ranger, vous re-mer-ci-er d'être venu de passer ce temps avec moi. Hello, Kamen Ranger, thank you for coming to spend this time with me. So formal. Perhaps too formal. When all Kamen Ranger did was give her a friendly hug she's here turning this into a business meeting between two people meeting for the first time. Blink shakes her head and begins to bow a little lower. Blink: [size0]Je suis désolé. Je me réjouis d'être avec vous pendant un certain temps. I. .. I'm sorry. I look forward to being with you for the next while. I... That doesn't help either. Now it just sounds like she's some arranged bribe just set to marry someone chosen by her father. Hm, exactly how her life would have turned out had she not have become a wrestler. But that's definitely something Blink doesn't want to even begin to think about. She'sdug herself into a hole and she's now struggling to get out. So she does what she thinks any sane woman would do about now; she pounces forward wrapping her arms around Kamen Ranger and kisses him on the mouthpiece of his mask. That's...subtle, right? It takes Blink a moment to realize how stupid this is looking and so she quickly steps away a great deal of her face nearly matching the colour of her hair. Nervously eyeing around, she bows once more. Blink: Je suis désolé! Je suis tellement désolé! Je n'ai pas ... Je ne voulais pas ... I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I didn't...I didn't mean to... You didn't mean to hug him? Kiss him? Show your admiration for the man? Blink only worries now that this is coming out in the way that tells him she doesn't like him. She does, very much. She's in far too deep. So deep that only one thing remains that can be done to fix this. She runs off...back into the hotel only to come out a second or two later looking normal once more. A smile on her face as she comes to a halt and bows briefly this time. When she straightens back up, she holds out a hand for him to take. Blink: [size0]Bonjour. Hello. No...something about this still doesn't feel right. How is Blink supposed to approach him without sending the wrong message? What is her message? Friendly greeting? How friendly? He hugged, she didn't. Wait, no, she did. But she kissed as well. She attacked him. Blink looks as though she's about to go for another hug but stops halfway through the arm movements and just brings them back down to her sides. Greetings have never been her strong point, if you haven't figured that one out yet. So slapping her hands down on her thighs she turns down the street. Blink: [size0]Allons-nous commencer notre promenade? Shall we begin our walk? No...stupid Blink! I'm sorry! That is to say if you wanted to start our walk. Or if you wish to get to where we're going by other means...I'm okay with that. And we don't have to go this way, we can go another way. Whichever way you want. Or...or we don't go anywhere! We...just stay here. I can do that, if that's what you really want to do. I can also leave if you want to just wait here by yourself. Or I'll stand over here and...and...and shut up. Yeah, there's also that. |

Kamen releases the hug when she says thank you, smiling at her and he shakes his head a little. She really is cute, there's no denying it, and the speaking French today simply seems to enhance the effect she has on him. There's something inherently adorable about someone as cute as her speaking French the way she does. Even her issues with speaking somehow are that much cuter when done in French. Maybe it's an exotic thing. Blink does something else she's very good at; she confuses him when she tells him she'll be right back. Where is she going? Is she going up to her hotel room? It's possible she thought he'd take longer getting here and she'd have time to go back up & get something or maybe drop something off. If that's the case, he's fine with waiting down here some more now that he's seen her and he knows that she's okay. He watches her go into the hotel room, believing it is exactly as he thought; she has to run up stairs real quick. Except she then comes right back out after a quick nervous look back at him, and he's back to being confused as to what she's doing. Then comes the formal introduction and Kamen isn't sure what to do or how to take it, so he does the only thing he can think of, he bows back to her. While he usually would bow to somebody, Blink including, he had thought they'd grown casual enough he didn't need to anymore. Then again, she does all the time to him. There's one other thing that bothers him about this formal introduction. It's such a minor thing that his face doesn't even register it to clue Blink in on what he's feeling. It's silly, he knows and so he tries to shrug it off, being rather successful at shrugging away the bother he was feeling. He wonders why she had gone with a more formal version of his name rather than what he had suggested the last time they saw each other. When she apologizes, he tries to wave it off to show her it's alright...only for her to pounce on him! It's so unexpected that Kamen takes a step back, having lost his balance a little when she wraps her arms around him. There's a tiny thought that makes him thankful he wore his custom mask today, the one without a mouth area. Since Blink kisses him smack dab on the lips, and now there's a visible pinkness to his face, least the parts that can be seen. Well, that was unexpected. Kiss #3 is certainly the best one they've had though. They're both blushing over the kiss they've shared and his mind is far off in lala land right now after that kiss. He almost looks like something out of an old cartoon, the way he's dazed from the kiss his pink haired friend gave him. Kamen's barely able to recognize she's talking to him and that she bows to him again, still reeling from the kiss. This is probably why he doesn't try to stop her when she runs off, again, and she attempts to re-do their introduction again. SKR: Uh..hi, Summer. The Interstellar Insect isn't sure if they're being personal & casual or formal still and so he bows again when she greets him again. He looks around, curious what others might be thinking of this little exchange the two of them are having right now. Kamen finds it cute, in a weird sort of way, though he can only imagine what other people are thinking. Seeing a girl walk up to a guy dressed like him, then go away, then come back, then go away again, and then come back again and so on. Once more he has to catch himself from laughing, he can't help it, Blink's just too cute sometimes. The way she suggests something and then immediately starts freaking out over her daring to suggest something to anyone. By now, he'd wish she'd know that it's okay for her to suggest these sorts of things to him; he isn't going to be upset. Kamen appreciates and he likes her input into things. SKR: Summer, it's okay, please don't apologize. For the second time today Kamen invades Blink's personal space bubble so that his hands can reach out. They gently cradle the sides of her face, trying to subtly guide them so that she's staring into, presumably, his eyes. Though he doesn't force her to, giving her all the room & comfort she needs to move her head any way she pleases. He simply tries to ensure she's looking at him when he softly & in a friendly tone informs her everything's fine. SKR: Let us go for a walk. With that said, his hands slip away from her rosy cheeks and he takes a step away from her, still facing her. Kamen extends his bare hand out to her for her to take while they're walking, and he smiles at her and suggests that they start. It's said in a kind tone, so that if she needs a moment they can take one, he doesn't care one way or the other. He's simply happy to be here and looking forward to what adventures awaits them in the City of Love! |

Cyndi: Targets sighted. Through a high powered scope, we see both Kamen Ranger and Blink begin their walk down the street. Blink is looking like she's getting pretty close to the man and the scope seems to be getting very close to the Bad Girl's backside following that around as opposed to the two of them. Watching them from her perch is Cyndi Sullivan; expert information seeker. She doesn't watch them through some high powered rifle, just a scope that's set up on a low tripod allowing her to lie on her stomach as she watches through the looking glass drooling over what she sees. So tight, so perfect. Why didn't that man allow Blink to remove her shirt? Things would have been so much more perfect then. Now she's just left guessing. Cyndi: [size0]Don't get too close to my Blinky, or else I'll-- Yes, ma'am! Yes, I'm still watching them. You can almost hear Emily's yell coming from over the other end of Cyndi's headset. Seems as though since the little incident at the Halloween party Emily has demanded Blink be watched for any sign of disobedient thought. She's especially to be watched any time she's around what Emily believes could be a source for such thought. Never before has Emily ever thought of such a threat over her control of Blink that she's gone to such a length like this. Blink: [size0]Peut-être que nous dev-ri-ons aller ... Maybe we should go... Blink's ready to suggest that they should just go straight to their destination and thus clear up the rest of their day, but she stops. Because she feels she shouldn't make a request? No, because she notices something in a store window. A clothing store advertising a new line of PVC material made for the coming winter. Blink, who had been keeping her body pressed tightly against Kamen Ranger for the walk thus far, quickly rushes over to the window to eye a pair of red gloves. Love at first sight, or at least a hefty amount of admiration for them in her mind created just by the sight of them. But one of the many rules to live by hits her and therefore her hands slowly begin to slide down the window as she eventually starts backing away. Blink: [size0]Pas de sensations fortes, rien de spécial, juste le né-ces-saire. No thrills, nothing special, just the necessities. Blink returns to her date trying her best not to look disappointed. It's odd as she's never shown such an interest in PVC before. Believe me, Catherine's tried. But deep down she was hoping they would fill a void. The note from Jaime had been torn up and the bear from Pixie...Blink wishes she knew what happened to it, but at the same time she wishes she doesn't. If the bear paw is any indication mixed in with how Emily can get at times... Still, it would've been nice to have something that could easily remind her of Catherine. Blink: [size0]Ainsi, K-Kun, So, K-Kun, The Bad Girl starts up with a smile. It feels so...nice having that to call him by. She was so formal before she had completely forgotten. Not to mention she understands the meaning of the suffix “kun” and that just makes her smile all the more. Blink: [size0]Beau temps, n'est-ce pas? Nice weather, isn't it? Weather talk? Aren't they beyond this point? Blink presses herself close once more to Kamen Ranger linking her arm around his because it's how she's keeping warm, and gives the store one last look before trying to continue the walk. |

When Blink is interlocking their arms and she presses close to him, Kamen's rather ecstatic about the turn of events. He certainly isn't complaining when they start their walk to the old school, grinning from ear to ear while they walk along. How can he not be happy right now? The girl he's got some serious romantic feelings for is pressing herself against him, and walking arm in arm with him down the street. One might confuse them for an actual couple. He's eager to listen to her suggestion, all the more with how they are right now when she stops. Both verbally and physically she stops, and she lets go of the masked man so that she can go look at what's inside of a store's window. Kamen considers chasing after her though lets her have her moment alone, watching her & what she's admiring. Gloves, hm, not something he'd normally consider she would race over to look at but he can see the appeal of them. Unfortunately for both of them, she recalls her teachings and she slinks away from the store window. Kamen has to admit, he feels a bit bad when he sees how defeated she looks when she walks away from the gloves in the window. If he didn't think she'd lose her mind over it, he'd offer to buy them for her. He doesn't really care much about money; he has more than enough and it would be a gift for someone important to him. Ah well. Blink returns to him and he welcomes her back with a small, sympathizing, smile when he sees her try to put up a brave front. He gets distracted when she presses herself close to him and interlocks their arms again, finding it rather pleasant. Not too distracting though that when she calls him by his nickname he would fail to notice her calling him it. He smiles brightly at that, matching her smile and he gives a small nod to the question she poses to him. SKR: Yes, it's much nicer than I expected it to be. Cheerful and carefree is the champion with how he responds, and why shouldn't he be today? For once, everything's going rather well for them, they’re having a somewhat romantic walk together through the streets of Saint Denis. Blink is relatively happy, minus the slight speed bump they had in the stop they made when she saw the gloves. He's happy because he's getting to spend time with her and she's being rather affectionate, the memory of their kiss still on his lips. Yup, everything's going their way for once. SKR: Oh! Look! We're almost there! The conversation is dying down and he's starting to get a funny feeling, like he's being watched or tailed. He shakes it off though when he sees the school just upon the horizon from where they are, and he brings it up to his companion. Kamen points it out for her, not because she'd have trouble noticing it, he's simply excited about this. Curiosity as to who the mystery man is and then also excitement to what's to come after they get this over with. |

Blink seems to be happy too, walking away from the store pressing herself against Kamen Ranger. It was at first just her human instinct to do so in attempt to keep warm but now it seems to be taking on a whole new meaning to her. She's never been this close to anyone before. Sure she's kissed people, hugged people, fucked people, but she's never truly been this much...hm? Blink's confusing stare goes down to what's been left in the street in front of them with a small note attached. Blink slowly moves away from Kamen Ranger and toward what she spots crouching down in front of them. Just as slowly as her movements there were, her hands come out just the same as still confused she looks first at the note. Blink: [size0]Ce sont ... Those are... Minutes Earlier... Cyndi: [size0]He's not buying my Blinky those gloves...he doesn't even wrap his jacket around her...this isn't good. Up on the roof, Cyndi props herself up to her knees gripping hold of her hair wanting to yell out into the world less they feel free from her tortured soul. Cyndi: How much has my Blinky told him about herself? Well two can play at this game. The blond in the black business suit stands up taking hold of her telescope at the same time. She then makes her way up to the edge of the building and looks down for something to land on during her jump down. Then she remembers something. After pressing the button on the ear piece, Cyndi makes communication with home base. Cyndi: They've left my sight, I'm beginning my—Yes, ma'am! Yes! I'm hurrying! She hops off landing on a perch from a few floors below and then finally to the ground. Without a moment of hesitation, she quickly races to the store but stops when she opens the door to admire the sight of Blink, her Blinky, who is really not even that far away. She's just about to blush when she remembers her goal and heads into the store. “ “ Blink: [size0]Mlle Cyndi? Miss. Cyndi? Crossing off the word for “please” was a giveaway enough, writing it in French when she knows that only Kamen Ranger, Emily, and Cyndi would know she would be speaking that language for most of the week was the real discovering fact. Then it also says Cyndi's name at the bottom. Not really getting the real meaning behind the gift, Blink tells herself she'll have to thank Cyndi the next time she sees her. It seems alright that Cyndi buys her something, and she's just about always accepted gifts given to her by cherished people before. The bear from Pixie, the bear from Neo, that lap dance from Roxie...if someone desperately wants to give her something how can she refuse? But in Kamen Ranger's case she would have given that she would've been there when he purchased them and to see someone do that for her...that's when she would get into the whole “I'm too pathetic” state of mind. But this, this is great as she takes hold of them and rushes back toward Kamen Ranger. Blink: K-Kun! K-Kun! Ne sont pas ces grands? Ils scin-til-lent dans la lumière et regarde, ils ont la même couleur que les cheveux de Lady Emily! K-Kun! K-Kun! Aren't these great? They shimmer in the light and look, they have the same colour as Lady Emily's hair! She hugs and squeezes and presses them tightly against her letting out a little squeal of delight before she finally starts putting them on. Blink: Ils sont juste ce que j'ai le plus besoin aujourd'hui. Un rappel constant de l'amour de Lady Emily et son dé-voue-ment. Wow, et sa ils sont chauds comme son cœur. Sentez-vous. They're just what I need most today. A constant reminder of Lady Emily's love and devotion. Wow, and her they're warm like her heart. Feel. A look of concern on her face when she touches the material to the portion of skin not covered up by the mask. The look on her face seems to suggest she wants to hear his judgement of the latex material. In case you're wondering, yes, Blink did block out that image of Emily knocking Kamen Ranger down. She can't think about that now, she doesn't want to think about that now. How could Emily, the Emily she knows and loves, do such a thing? Or maybe she's just trying to convince him on believing the same way about the redhead that she does. He was like that before, why can't he be like that again? And thus a small tear of hope that Kamen Ranger will look beyond the feel of the gloves and go back to the way he was; where Emily could do no wrong, where she sounded like a fascinating woman with a heart of gold for taking someone like Blink in. Blink: [size0]Pourquoi avez-vous pour me protéger? Why did you have to shield me? She can't hold it in any longer, can't deny what is making her heart race. Blink: Pourquoi tout le monde essayer de m'arracher à elle? Why does everyone try to tear me away from her? Her hands, they're slowly beginning there descent toward his neck. Blink: Pourquoi mes amis ... pourquoi sont-Lucas et honoraire Dame Jaime insulter? Why are my friends...why are Lucas and Honorary Lady Jaime insulting her? Her hands have now worked down to his neck and hey just hover there. Judging by her coming tone of voice they won't be lying dormant for very much longer. Blink: Pourquoi ... pourquoi ... pourquoi êtes-vous insulter? Why...why...why are you insulting her? Luckily her hands don't grip, I don't know why the word “luckily” is there as I'm certain Kamen Ranger would manage to get out of a Blink strangle hold. The Bad Girl doesn't grip, instead she takes a few steps back but still maintains something of a glare toward Kamen Ranger. She won't run off, but she does have something she needs to get off her chest. Sweet. Everyone always tells me I need to think for myself, make my own decisions. I'm not a charity case! I'm not! Lady Emily does so much for me...why can't anyone ever see that? Why can't people see I've made my decision? I've decided, they don't like it, they try and change it for me. Why? Why do my friends have to be so so so controlling? Just stop...stop lying to me. I respect Lady Emily. I love Lady Emily. I should never be the one to say this, but please just accept the decision I've made. Please. Is she begging? She certainly has calmed down some, but still, Blink begging? There's going to be an awful lot of correcting going on if Emily catches wind of this, but again that's something Blink has accepted. Will Kamen Ranger? |

The two lovebirds are walking along till something catches Blink's eye and once more their embrace is ended. Kamen stops and he glances back when he realizes she's stopped after a step or two, curious as to why she's stopped & let go of his arm. It's then that he notices the note attached to something on the sidewalk, something that Blink picks up without really any hesitation. As soon as he can see what it is that's underneath the note he's both puzzled but silently cursing his luck on that one. Darn. So much for that Christmas present. Yes, the masked man had made a note of her desire to have those gloves and he knew he couldn't simply get them for her now. So he had made the decision, he had figured out what he was intending to get her for Christmas at long last, those gloves. It's something he's been thinking about for a while now, what to get her? He knows quite a few things she likes & he could use to figure out a present yet he wants it to be as perfect as he can make it. She deserves it, in his book. Back to the drawing board. Whatever petty reasons he has to pout over somebody getting her the gloves first are pushed out of his head when he sees her. It doesn't matter he isn't the one who got them for her, when it's all said and done, it only matters that she got them. There's a small smile on his face when he watches Blink rush back over to him, how excited she is to have them gloves, how much they mean to her. It's moments like these that make whatever strife they've had to deal with since they met more than worth it. SKR: Yeah, they're pretty amazing. He hadn't considered the notion that these gloves are the same shade of red as Emily Stratfield's hair is. Kamen hadn't but he should've, it now makes much more sense why Blink would be so fond of this pair of gloves & why she wanted them. Not that he particularly minds, they're still nice gloves and they still mean a great deal to his date, that's what matters. Besides, unlike most that are closed to her, he doesn't completely hate Emily Stratfield and he understands her importance. If somebody else had said what Blink says about Emily's heart, he might've laughed at them in the face. He's willing to concede her methods aren't as crazy as he had initially considered them, especially after his talk with Ariel last week. Where he realized Skull's methods weren't too far below Emily's, as far as training somebody goes & how harsh they can be. But he still has a hard time believing the notion that Emily's heart is warm to anyone that isn't named Emily Stratfield. Though this is Blink, and so to him, it comes across less as laughable and more cute that she thinks that. It's enough to make his smile grow at what she thinks is the case in the relationship Emily and her have as teacher and student. Like most, he thinks that's one of the areas where Blink's perception is a little off from the reality of the situation. Who knows though, maybe when the cameras are away Emily truly does show a side to Blink that no one else's probably ever seen. SKR: Yes, they are. The Inter-Galactic Hero gives a slight nod with the glove's material still pressed against his face as he smiles down at her. It's true, the gloves do feel very nice and they do feel like they'd keep one warm if they're wearing them outside. He isn't entirely sure about the comparison though what does it really matter? Blink's happy, he's happy, and she has her opinions, one he tries to respect as much as he can. It's when a tear rolls down his cheek he begins to worry. His Kamen senses are telling him things are going to take a wrong turn. The question makes him stuff his hands into his track jacket's pockets, and wait; he can tell there is more coming. Sure enough, Blink's starting in on a tirade about the people around her trying to take her away from Emily, to tear the teacher & student apart. She goes on to mention Lucas, who he's just met, and Jaime, who he kind of met, and how they're always insulting Emily Stratfield. Then she goes one step further, implying that he's insulting her mentor, Emily Stratfield. The entire time Blink's asking him these questions, her hands are slowly moving away from his face and down to his neck. Kamen could so very easily stop her, bat her hands away, grab them & counter into something, there's literally a million ways. He's sure she knows at least the majority of them herself; Blink's a capable fighter though that's missing the point here. That's all stuff he could do, he doesn't do, and he simply lets her put her hands on his throat, trusting her enough to allow it. Even if she did start choking him, he isn't sure if he'd care, letting her get out whatever frustration is obviously built up. Then her hands slip away from his neck and she turns her back on him, something that makes him wish for a second ago. Right when it looks like she might run off on him, again, she turns around to face the man that she's on a date with tonight. One of the few times Kamen's ever seen her work up something resembling a glare and it does its job surprisingly well. It makes him feel terrible, terrible that he's forced a person like Blink to feel so strongly she must make such a harsh face. Funny, the way Blink put it, he hadn't really thought about it that way before this little conversation they're having. He had thought some of it though not really, if you catch the drift, it had been fleeting thoughts he avoided putting too much weight into. So when Blink says she's made her decision and no one close to her respects that, they just keep trying to change things, it hits him hard. He hadn't intended to be controlling of Blink, simply help her when Emily decided to be Emily with her. What does one say to that? How can somebody turn down another's begging? SKR: Summer...I'm not trying to insult her. Kamen sighs and he takes a few steps closer to her, so that they're almost back to where they were a few seconds ago. Each one is a cautious one, like he's trying to get close to a wild animal; any sudden movements could send it running away from him. Really he's far more concerned with her not wanting him to get too close and his action upsetting her, so he's being careful about it. He's taking his time and making sure that she isn't going to suddenly scold him for getting too close. SKR: I know she does alot for you, however it's like I said at the party, sometimes her treatment of you...it's hard to watch. It's hard to watch as somebody that cares about you, cares about your well being. It's partially why I protected you that night; I knew she wasn't going to be happy most likely if she rejected it. I didn't want you to have to take an additional beating for my sake, because of something that I encouraged you to do that night. The blame, the source, of you wasting time that night was me, and so it was only right I take the punishment. The Interstellar Insect is inching ever closer and closer back to the pink haired girl, they're expressions complete opposites. Blink, she’s glaring at him as much as someone like her probably can and Kamen, he’s looking sad & a little shameful. Admittedly Blink's expression is easier to make out than her date's, whose mask is hiding the majority of his face still. There's alot one can make out of a person's expression simply by being able to see one's lips and the area around it. SKR: I never meant to be controlling, only helpful when I could be...if you've made your decision, I will respect and honor that decision. I'm sorry, Summer, I'm so, so sorry. Truthfully he doesn't feel that much different about the entire situation that Blink is finding herself in with Emily as a teacher. He's still going to have a hard time stomaching the more severe punishments Blink's more than likely going to get again sometime. But he is trying; he is trying to make an effort after hearing what Blink's said to try to accept that she's made her decision on the matter of Emily. She probably has no idea how bad he feels that she sees his actions as trying to be controlling, he doesn't want that, he isn't any better than Emily then. That isn't what or who he wanted to be in Blink's life, another person telling her what to do. Hopefully Blink's able to believe that. |

Blink's no longer angry anymore. Seeing his expression, hearing his words, it creates a troublesome feeling from the bottom of her heart. She did this to him, is doing this to him, has done this to him so many times now. She closes the gap with a single step wrapping her arms around him crying out some more as not that far from them a woman is scaling up a wall muttering slight obscenities. However seeing Blink hugging Kamen Ranger only causes her to temporarily lose her footing and she almost falls. Luckily she manages to catch hold of something and continue to climb only glancing at the dating pair every few seconds. When she's got a good grip. Blink: Je suis désolé. Je suis désolé! I'm sorry. I'm sorry! Do we really need the subtitles for that by now? Yay, you're learning French! See? My Rps aren't all sexually oriented with lesbians and panty shots. Blink: C'est pourquoi je n'ai jamais essayer de parler mon esprit. [size0]Chaque fois que je fais, je viens de finir par blesser quelqu'un. La plupart du temps c'est quelqu'un qui m'intéresse. This is why I never try to speak my mind. Every time I do, I just end up hurting someone. Most of the time it's someone I care about. She backs away letting her now gloved hands slide off from around Kamen Ranger's jacket covered body. Yeah, she noticed the stitching and the shoe laces, though she thought they were either there because he likes the colour or there for reasons she refuses to acknowledge. He may care about her, she can understand that, but she doesn't deserve to have someone care that much about her. That they would purposefully go out and buy things like that. Blink: Je vous promets ... je promets que je ne serai jamais vous blesser à nouveau en parlant mon esprit. I promise...I promise that I will never hurt you again by speaking my mind. That's actually kinda harsh, but she's going somewhere with this. Do you know where? You will, or at least should be able to tell, with just reading her next two subtitled words. Then you can take a guess. You'd most likely be correct. Blink: [size0]Lady Emily, Look, I'll even make it easy for you. Now, where will she go from there? No need for a timer, 'cause you already know! Bien ... says that to speak my mind is a method of egotistical behaviour that is unbefitting of me. For me to think others would care what I have to say or think, it's...it's wrong. Others are fine because I must listen. Listen to weakness in my opponent, strength in my team mates. I must react, react to what is said around me. But only when others are allowing me to. That is a rule in Lady Emily's manual for me. Though... A timid moment of silence as Blink closes her eyes and tries to recall what it is the other manual has to say for her to do. Catherine's manual, the one her fellow Bad Girl had to write because she was getting fed up with Blink being far too accommodating. She wanted a friend, not a servant. So when Catherine accepted the pact deal she spent about a week writing rules and guidelines for Blink to follow whenever she was around. Lady Catherine's rules state that when I feel strongly about something, I must voice my opinions. Do not, under any circumstance, hold these thoughts in otherwise they will come out in methods I might not be able to apologize for. Blink eyes up at him not looking like she's willing to start celebrating her ability to recall Catherine's rule off by heart. Of course if Blink were to start her new system would she end up treating Kamen Ranger the same as she did Catherine? To just follow directions until given guidelines and boundaries? Pixie, Spice, or Nikita were fortunate in that they never had to deal with said situation. Okay? So I'm really sorry. I've been trying to live up to Lady Emily's codes of conduct, but lately I've been thinking about Lady Catherine and that's had me confused these past few days. I promise that I'll just follow Lady Emily's guidelines from now until I see Lady Catherine again. Okay? That sounds...super duper. With a smile on her face at the realization that things are finally going to remain calm from now on, Blink turns around to spot their destination within short walking distance. Have they covered this much ground already? She rushes the few steps back toward Kamen Ranger and once more wraps herself close to his arm for warmth letting out a sigh, her breath freezing before her face. Blink: [size0]A partir de maintenant, je vais aussi vous permettre de décider quoi et où nous allons. Ce dont nous parlons. Tout et n'importe quoi. From now on, I'll also allow you to decide what and where we go. What we talk about. Anything and everything. That sounds like a plan. So she remains there, waiting. Will they enter the school? Or will they stay out here to freeze to death? Or something else. Something else! *ghostly noises* |

When Blink takes a step forward, Kamen's ready, he's ready for anything that's about to come his way & expecting the worse. He can already see her yelling at him for what's been said, angry and unable to believe what he's trying to tell her. There's also the chance she might flat out refuse it and be so upset that she slaps him, yeah, that might be the worst case scenario. Not even bothering to give him a response, simply slaps him and move on with her life, leaving him behind to carry on. There should've been a clarification there, Kamen had been ready for almost anything, Blink hugging him is not one of those things. Her crying a little more only makes a weak smile cross his lips; he should've seen something like this coming. His arms find themselves around her after slinking over her body and his hands interlock behind her, completing the hug he's giving her. Such a silly girl she is, as if she needs to apologize to him about something like this. Truth be told, he'd rather they have moments like these, where she's angry at him and giving him a piece of her mind. He'd much rather have moments like these than her hide behind some fake smile and pretend like everything's fine for his sake. How are they ever going to maintain...well, anything if she keeps him shut out? If he never gets to hear her voice, where does he fit in exactly in her life? Kamen doesn't want that. SKR: Summer, it's okay, shh. He tries to comfort her, ease her out of the emotional state she's in right now as they hold each other. His voice is barely higher than a whisper, so it's a good thing they're so close to each other right now, otherwise she might not hear it. Heck, given how scatter brained she can be at times, it's possible she still misses his attempt to soothe her. His eyes peer through the mask's bug eyes down at her, watching her feel bad over what she's put them through. Right as he's about to respond to what she says next, she slips away from him and he doesn't fight it. He's a bit sad it's happening though he isn't the type to try to hang onto her & force the embrace to continue between them. The masked man does miss the feel of her hands, even gloved, on him for a moment though it passes quick enough. He's far more invested in what she's telling him, and how much he wants to say something in defense of her speaking her mind to him. That's a promise no one can keep realistically, least if they're willing to speak their mind around the other person. So it isn't hard for him to deduce what she's implying by making such a promise to him, she promises to keep her mouth shut. For her to not share her thoughts with him, whether they're good or they're bad ones. In fear that something she says, something she feels might someday hurt him, breaking the promise she's made to him. Whatever very few doubts he had as to what this means are crushed when she brings up Emily & her teachings. It spells it out for him, in case he hadn't caught on, that she intends to keep her thoughts & feelings to herself from now on. What fun is there to what she's talking about? Kamen wants to have another person to be around, not a parrot, someone who only reacts to everything he does. That is someone who has no actions of their own and relies on others instructing it. Things get more complicated when Blink closes her eyes for a moment and then she starts talking about Catherine and her teachings. Kamen likes the sound of these ones better; these ones sound more like something he could put his support behind. He doesn't know the other Bad Girl very well though he does know that she has a very good point, and he's grateful to her. Grateful that she's trying, at least, to teach Blink that something like that is very important. His eyes meet her eyes when she looks up at him though she might not know that, with the mask he's wearing. She crushes any hope he has that she's going to stay true to what Catherine's told her and he can't help but feel a little depressed about it. Maybe it won't be so bad, maybe if he spends enough time with her he'll be able to get her to come out of her shell some more around him. If not...well, she's decided on something and he would be going against what he said a moment ago if he disagreed. The price of trying to be a good person. SKR: Okay. The Inter-Galactic Hero gives a small nod of his head and he forces a smile on his face to help convey it sounds good to him. He feels guilty, how happy she now looks with coming to this decision, and how much he disagrees with it. Her returning to his side, pressing close against him is distracting his thoughts a little from that matter. It isn't enough for him to completely shake it out of his head though. Kamen has no problem with playing the role of the leader; Skull's training includes teachings that would help one be that. His mentor's never really explained why he helped try to shape leadership skills into him though he figures it's just one of those things. Something to give him more confidence and authority in what he's got to do, in what they do for a living, and what they're now doing. It doesn't make it any easier to hear Blink state she's basically going to be his servant instead of his friend. SKR: Well...okay, I guess. Why don't we check out the school? So it's decided, they're going to make their way straight to the school then, Kamen glances down to make sure she's okay with that. It's a goofy gesture to do with someone like Blink, right now anyways, though it's out of habit and trying to be polite. Once he realizes she's going to do whatever he wants, he starts moving so that the two of them are walking again & getting closer to the school. It's probably for the best too, he hadn't realized how cold it is, Blink's going to be happy to get inside. There's a several minutes long stretch of time where nothing of real note happens, they're simply walking. The two of them, the Bad Girl and the Interstellar Insect, they're arm in arm and looking very much like a loving couple walking the streets of France. He glances around at a few things; he's trying his best to take in the sights of where they're at while they're walking to their goal. Each time he peaks down at his date, he feels a little bad, reminded each time of what she just told him. Eventually they make it to the front of the school, and Kamen looks around at their surroundings. The front of the place is almost like an old fashion courtyard though he doubts that's what this is used for or was used for when it was first built. Nevertheless, even in this weather, it's a beautiful place and the main building is a wonderful sight of history on display. His admiring of the place is put on pause for a moment when he checks the time, a few minutes before seven, when they were supposed to meet. SKR: Why don't we go inside for a minute? We can warm up and wait for our host. Common manners are why Kamen asks her though as soon as he's done asking, he instantly remembers how things are now. So he does what he'd want to in this situation, since his opinion is the only one being advised, he begins to lead her towards the front doors of the school. He isn't trying to pull her along, more gently guide her, and so if she wishes to stop for whatever reason, they can stop at any point. It isn't like they're in a hurry to get inside the school, they're meeting is possibly going to be out here...or their further instructions, whatever. If Blink's paying attention to Kamen, she might notice a small thin metal object, similar to a dart, hits him in the neck. It's point plunges deep into him and he doesn't even seem to notice it, it having been so quiet & quick with how it flew at him. When his footsteps grow shaky and he starts to look like he's losing his balance, that's when he notices something's wrong. He tries to turn around when suddenly there's fog covering the courtyard like front of the school; it's so thick it becomes hard for even them to see each other. Wait... Not fog, it's smoke that's filling the area up! What's causing it is unknown, what is known is that a gloved hand comes down on their interlocked hands, breaking the hold. Blink's only able to see one mystery shadowy figure grab the shadowy figure that closely resembles Super Kamen Ranger, and pull him away before he falls. Both figures disappear into the smoke, where they've gone is anybody's guess, even for a suit wearing blonde watching them. There's simply too much smoke filling up the area for anything to be seen clearly. Slowly the smoke starts to spread out, making it a little easier to see though making the blanket of it that much larger. If Blink looked in the space in-between where Kamen had been & she is, she'd notice a small metal orb on the ground. In fact, it's very similar to the kind that the Seigi Sentai has been shown to use, a type of smoke bomb. When one considers that it is still pushing out a little amount of smoke, it's a good guess that this is what caused this cloud setting over the school. What in the world is going on? Better question, where in the world is Kamen? |

Blink looks around, trying to see if anyone is around her. Is she the next to disappear? She’s confused, scared, and keeps to one place while looking around. Really, is this the teachings of Emily at play? If it were Emily… Though Blink is Blink and nothing can change that and most importantly she’s alone. Not for long, mind you, as a figure hops down in behind her. When Blink turns around she’s surprised to see a rather serious looking Cyndi Sullivan standing sideways that Blink remain in her peripheral while she can still keep a look around for further attacks. Blink wants to say something, ask what she’s doing here but the blond whips out a small blade kept on the inside of her jacket. She holds this weapon close while pressing her sheath holding hand toward Blink keeping her back. Cyndi: Out! Now! In the light! She’s calling out to whoever threw the smokebomb. Blink watches her, surprised to see this level of intensity from Cyndi. Usually she’s so cold or drooling. Now…now it only adds to the fright Blink is feeling. If Cyndi is acting this way, then Blink…she needs to run. It’s dangerous. Too dangerous. She turns and runs, runs to the main building as Cyndi takes notice and yells out. Cyndi: Miss. Blink, stop! Far too late as Blink pushes her way into the school building pressing her back against the door barricading it shut. Though in all her effort to get away from the troubles of the outside she places herself in a far more frightening situation. Not only is she in danger, but she’s alone. |

It's an unfortunate turn of events, specifically the ones that lead to Blink going into the school. Too frightened to notice the figure that approaches her, his footsteps are silent, giving her less to be tipped off that he's coming. In fact, chances are, the pink haired girl doesn't know he's on her till he's right behind her and bringing his arms around. Rather than go for her neck or some attack, Blink finds herself with a rag over her face, her scared breathing inhaling far too much to avoid being effected... ...And then there is darkness. Sounds. People. Cars. The city. It's all below him. Super Kamen Ranger stirs, feeling like he's woken up from a deep sleep that's somehow done him no favors. His head feels like it's getting over a massive headache, or maybe a hangover, and it feels like it's been split open. When he tries to open his eyes they hurt, like they're sore after watching a television in the dark too long. He tries to move around, get a feel, and doing so makes his entire body ache, it feels like he's just gotten done running a marathon. His hands feel around and he soon recognizes this familiar sensation, he knows where he is, sort of. The cold, hard feeling to his touch, the slight dampness from the weather lately in France, the wear & decay of time and neglect. There's only one thing in the entire world that could be what he's on top of right now, least to his immediate knowledge. Where is he? He's somewhere, hopefully still in Paris or at the very least France, and he's on a roof top. Finally he opens his eyes and he forces them to stay open, looking at his surroundings to get a feel for them. He's right, it is a roof top, and there's nothing that's particularly special about the roof top he's found himself on this evening. It's, for all intents and purposes, a roof top just like any other that he's been on before during night patrols with Skull. There's even Skull, off to the side, peering over the ledge with one foot on it, looking at the heart of the city below. ...Except that's not Skull he's looking at, his eyes having time to adjust, for one thing, this man's wearing a cape. The other major clue that this isn't Skull is the man's actually perched on the ledge, looking almost like he's a giant bird up there. He is, however, doing exactly as Skull does whenever they're on patrol in the city they've stopped in. The mystery man is watching the city below, trying to see if there are any signs of anything criminal going on that he might need to take care of. This mystery man steps down from the ledge, and he strides along the side of it, hunched over slightly. His powerful & precise movements and his hunching over, and his arms behind his back almost make him look a bit like a bird. The breathing and the way he carries his weight are enough for Kamen to realize how old this man is. He's not as precise at this as Skull is though he can make out the man's at least in his late fifties and maybe at most his late sixties. It isn't much but it's something to go on. The Interstellar Insect pushes his upper body vertical and it's then that he catches the attention of the other masked man. One of the random billboards' lights flash on for a moment, casting this mystery man in light & revealing him to Kamen. Now suddenly the bird like behavior of crouching on the perch and walking along like he does makes a little more sense. This bird themed man is quick for his age, making his way over to the champion with a friendly smile on his masked face. ?: Ah, I was wondering when you'd wake up. If Kamen hadn't already guessed as much, the man's voice would be a dead giveaway that he's an older gentleman. His voice just has that quality to it older people have, they've seen things and they've experienced life in ways younger people haven't. It's not so much jaded or wisdom in his voice as merely experience, he's not naive; he's been around the block a few times. When he's near Kamen, he extends a talon like gloved hand to the younger masked man. ?: Nice to meet you, I'm Archimedes. Huh, this is interesting, Kamen now notices the man's got an accent and it isn't the one he'd expect, with them being in France. Rather this masked man, Archimedes, has a very distinctly Southern British accent to his words, and a friendly tone. Kamen looks hesitant though he accepts the gloved hand to help him up, a task that's easier than he'd thought. Now masked face to masked face with a man that's hopefully got some answers for him... ?: [Everything's taken care of, she's still resting soundly, sir.] Subtitles pop up at the bottom of the screen when we hear a fragile female voice that's speaking in French. Who she is speaking to is unknown, what is known is that we've in what strangely enough looks like a chamber room in a castle. There are stone floors and walls, there's torches on the walls that are there to light the room for anyone that walks in. There's even an old fashioned massive bed that looks fit for a king or maybe a queen, considering who is sleeping on it. It's on the bed that a familiar pink haired girl is laying, still looking like she's out of it. ?: [She should be waking soon, please tend to her. She will have questions; I must ensure the master is aware of the situation.] Ah, there's another voice and another set of subtitles at the bottom for the man that's speaking in French. He sounds much older than the woman he's talking to, he sounds downright elderly, like a man in the twilight of his life. His voice is both commanding and friendly at the same time when he instructs the other person what to do. It sounds like they're talking about the sleeping beauty that's in the guest chambers. ?: [Yes, sir.] There's footsteps heard leaving and the door opens, and in walks what looks like a traditional maid. She's young, easily in her late teenage years, and she's not too shabby looking for being apart of the help. Her blonde hair is tucked into her little bun hat and her blue eyes are staring at the pink haired girl that's still, in theory, out of it. It looks like she's patiently waiting for Blink to wake up, standing by the closed door in case she is needed when Blink awakes. |

Blink:
[size0]K-Kun... She is awake, or at least aware enough of her surroundings to silently call out his name. What she doesn't look aware of is the maid watching her and listening or even the people that were by her door speaking some moments ago. She's trapped, she knows that. She shouldn't have run, that was stupid of her. She'd have stood a much better chance at remaining free if she had stayed with Cyndi. No, she shouldn't have been so scared in the first place. As soon as she gets back to Emily there'll be a lot more correcting than before. If she gets back to Emily. Blink: [size0]Vous avez promis. Vous avez promis que vous me protéger. You promised. You promised you would protect me. Despite her current situation, Blink still maintains the last set of orders given to her by Emily. Continue with the language, the redhead never told her to stop. Blink now begins to cry. Not sobbing tears that drench the pillow beneath her head, but simple wet trails acting as a sign of how frightened she is right now. She's not used to this. The closest she's ever been this afraid was when she was raped by Catherine. Now hat pales in comparison to this because at least then Blink was home. Now she has no idea where she is or what's about to happen to her. It's about this time that she notices the young blond maid watching her. At first she sits up suddenly under the belief that it's Ariel who's come to save her. But no, Ariel is a little older. Not much older but it's still noticeable to someone who's been around her for so long. Disappointed, Blink adjusts herself to a seated position on the side of the bed taking a moment before standing up to bow. If this will indeed all lead to her death, Blink will go out with honour and dignity. The way she always wanted to go. Blink: [size0]Bonjour, mon nom est Summer Madison. Hello, my name is Summer Madison. No need to use her ring name, it's not like she's some super spy or anything. Her real name will be more than enough here as she straightens up trying her best to put on a smile. Still, she's nervous about what's to come so the smile quickly fades to nothing. I'm probably to understand that you are among those that brought me here. Please don't think I hold any grudge toward you or your friends, I understand that there must be a reason for this. If...you have a moment I would like to hear them. That is only if I'm supposed to. A sudden gasp as Blink bows down again. I'm so very sorry! I didn't mean what I said! But judging by your attire I should assume you already have an employer who has left you with orders regarding me. Unless... Now more nervous than ever, what with blushing cheeks this time, Blink twists her hips a little to the side as she fingers the button to her jeans. Blink: [size0]Sauf si vous êtes venu ... Unless you came... A moment as Blink swallows dryly into her throat eyeing toward the maid before her. Blink: [size0]Pour d'autres raisons. Je promets d'essayer et de ne pas décevoir. For other reasons. I promise to try and not disappoint. Is she actually willing to do this? Well it's been said that if you wish to have the greatest chance of survival in these situations, always do as your captor requests. So yes, Blink is willing. O much for keeping her dignity in check. Blink: [size0]Mais d'abord ... s'il vous plaît me dire où K-Kun est. S'il vous plaît. But first...please tell me where K-Kun is. Please. A demand, or at least as close to one you can get from Blink. However, it's still one that the maid can ignore. |

Super Kamen Ranger looks around at his surroundings again, now that he's on his feet, trying to get a better grasp on everything. It certainly looks like they're still in Paris, thankfully, though he isn't familiar enough with the city to know where he is in it. For all he knows, he's on the other side of the city from where Blink and he were a...well, by the looks of the sky; it was a while ago now. How much time has passed? It's clearly been enough for the sun to set and for the stars to come out. He's surprisingly calm, given the situation, though he's confused beyond belief about it too. The calmness he feels is a mixture of Skull's conditioning him to not panic over kidnap situations like these and the man in front of him. He seems nice enough and judging by his outfit, he's one of them, and so there shouldn't be anything to be worried about. This guy doesn't seem like his a Hammer & Sickle waiting to happen; he did help him up afterall. SKR: So, uh, what's going on? Now there's a good question, why has someone from the group he works for drugged him & brought him to a roof top? In most lines of work, this is usually a bad sign that you're about to be killed & your death is going to be buried, swept under the rug. Kamen might be incline to believe that about this if he didn't so naturally trust the man he's with, just something about him, maybe his age. It also might be the vague reminder of his mentor the man's giving him, albeit Skull is much younger than this fellow. Archimedes looks like he's gotten his feathers ruffled, pun fully intended, over the question he's asked. The smile fades from his face and he looks bothered by something, is he really that upset that Super Kamen Ranger asked him a question? Whatever's eating him, he isn't talking, instead he turns around and he heads back over to the ledge of the roof top to peer over it. Once more he's doing his weird, bird like, behavior while trying to find a suitable spot to perch & look down. Archimedes: We need to talk. There's an attempt to still have a trace of friendliness to his voice when he says this, it fails horribly but at least there's an effort. If this was, since they're being compared, Skull that was doing the talking, there wouldn't even be an effort made to sound friendly. The masked man looks over his shoulder at the younger man, who is walking closer to him when he answers the lad's question. It's something he feels the boy's partner should've talked to him about but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. Archimedes: Do you have any idea of what you're getting yourself into? Well that's nice and vague though realistically speaking, there are only a certain number of possibilities of what he could be talking about. The friendliness drops completely from his voice when he asks it, in a way that implies he doesn't really need an answer from Kamen. There's something else that replaces the hint of friendliness, it's hard to make out but the masked man sounds troubled. Whatever it is he's asking Kamen about, it sounds like he feels Kamen's making the wrong move with it. SKR: With what? Math's never been one of his strong suits, unlike Skull, and so Kamen's less incline to try and do it to figure out what the man means. This man drugged him, brought him up onto a roof top while he had been in the middle of a date, least he could do is speak clearly. Kamen takes a few steps closer to the ledge and the older man, having a scowl on his face that's quite impressive for a novice like him. It isn't yet to the levels of a scowl his partner's capable of though. Archimedes: With the girl, Romeo, with the girl. The obviousness of what he's talking about and Kamen's lack of catching on seems to greatly annoy the bird man. He turns around fully to face the younger masked man when he answers his question, yet again looking like his feathers are ruffled. It's hard to tell though given his demeanor and the way he answers, chances are high that he rolls his eyes at Kamen for asking that question. What else could he be talking about?! The maid patiently stands by the door and she watches, it's what she's been ordered to do till the girl awakes fully. She hears something of a promise and protection though she isn't certainly what their guest is talking about. Maybe it's a bad dream, maybe it's a memory, she isn't sure and like a good maid, she's going to keep it that way. Such things are not for a maid to pry about, she's given all the information she needs to, and she goes about doing her job, that's it. As a maid, the pink haired girl's tears do pull at her heart strings a little, wanting to rush over & comfort her. So she can stroke her head and hug her, cradle her if necessary, and whisper encouraging words to the slightly older woman. It's partially why she decided to become a maid, a motherly instinct she's had to her for several years now. It's an instinct that can't bear to see someone like Blink crying like she is right now but orders are orders, and she must obey. ?: [Hello, Lady Madison. My name is Amelia.] She greets the Bad Girl with a smile and she actually beats her to bowing, as it is what she must do first. It's a part of a maid's duty to always greet any guests first by bowing, showing them immediate respect once they've entered the residence. It’s also so that the guests are aware of their dominance over the help. Her voice is light and cheerful, showing the other girl that she means her no harm, in case there were any worries. The maid listens carefully and intensely to everything Blink's got to say to her, and there's one response for most of it. Confusion, funny, one of the people that had helped capture Blink is more confused than the girl that's been captured. It's just...she simply doesn't know what to make of most of what Blink said to her, most of it beyond her. She does get the strong feeling at one point Blink's offering an indecent proposal between the two women though. Amelia: [Lady Madison, my master's brought you here to talk to him, like it said in his invitation to you. What he wishes to discuss with you, I do not know. I'm sorry.] While she's talking she takes several steps forward, each one small and quick, drawing herself closer to Blink. She smiles brightly at the pink haired girl, such a strange girl; she can see maybe why her master would need to talk to somebody like this. Albeit she's not his usual company, rather female company, they tend to be a little...No, she shouldn't judge, either those girls or this one, her place as a maid is to be indifferent to such things, she has a duty to fulfill. Amelia: [Also...dirty thoughts are bad, Lady Madison.] The smile grows ever so playful and she sticks her index finger out at the Bad Girl, as if scolding her. She's been trained to usually scold those who attempt to suggest perverse deeds with the help, per her master's orders. Though in this case, she must admit, she's a little flattered and she finds it the tiniest bit cute of their guest. So she goes easy on the girl, not trying to make her feel too bad about it. Amelia: [I do not know who K-coon is. He is not here, I can assure you.] Her inexperience with the Japanese language is clear when she fails to properly pronounce the title in Kamen's nickname. Judging by her blinking eyes & her confused expression, she's telling the truth about that little slice of fact. She really doesn't know who this K-kun is, thinking maybe it's a pet of somekind; does Blink have a pet raccoon? Usually she'd remain quiet about that though their master gave them strict orders, to do whatever Blink desires, within reason. |

Blink:
[size0]Oh, non, s'il vous plaît ne m'appelez pas "Lady Madison", Miss Amelia. Summer fera l'affaire. Oh, no, please don't call me "Lady Madison", Miss. Amelia. Summer will do. It's her first response, a rather quick response given that she's just been scolded for making sexual passes, but one she finds most important. You could be on the verge of telling her life's greatest mysteries and she would still ask you not to call her Lady anything. It puts her on the pedestal beside such individuals as Emily and Pixie. She feels a little more equal toward Catherine, but that's only because according to Emily's chain of power the two of them are at the very bottom together. She also doesn't like “Miss”, but she's given up trying to ask both Ariel and Alanya to stop referring to her by that title. They're maids, she knows it's their duty to be respectful in this degree, but still...it's one of the things she doesn't like in this world. She doesn't hate it and she's certainly not going to hate this girl if she ignores her request, it's just she feels she's done very little (if anything at all) to deserve such recognition. Blink: *gasp* Je suis désolé! Je ne voulais pas donner un ordre. [size0]Il m'a échappé. I'm sorry! I didn't mean to give an order. It just slipped out. Blink is on the verge of bowing again but this woman, she can't help but look away from her because she reminds her so much of a young Ariel. Of course Ariel at that age would have been a brunette, as that had been her natural hair colour, but just about every thing else...Ariel doesn't have a sister, does she? It's about this time that Blink realizes she's been doing nothing but stare at the girl for the past minute or so. So with a hefty dosage of pink to the face, Blink turns and finds a seat back on the edge of the bed patting on a vacant spot beside her. It's funny, it's not only Ariel this maid reminds her of. Her attitude is somewhat reminiscent of Nikita so Blink's first reaction is to have them sit down together. Girl talk? It could certainly become that. However, it's still all new to Blink so you'll have to forgive her if she makes a mistake or two. Blink: [size0]K-Kun est ... un ami très spécial pour moi. Nous étions ef-fec-tiv-e-ment sur notre troisième date quand ... K-Kun is...a very special friend to me. We were actually on our third date when... It's clear what happened, the two of them were kidnapped. It is the last thing Blink had ever thought would happen during a date, especially with a man who had sworn to protect her. Promised he would keep her out of harms way. Is she bitter with the man? Will a callout of “liar” come into play? We'll just have to wait and see because for now I think that all she wants is to just see him again. However, I'm certain if Catherine had been kidnapped right alongside her there'd be an entirely different discussion going on. Kamen Ranger is a traitor, he set this whole thing up as he's been planning it since the beginning. Not only should Blink leave him, but she should kick his ass hard for ever crossing her. No Catherine so Blink is just concerned. Blink: [size0]Qu'en pensez-vous? What about you? She asks looking over at the maid. Blink: [size0]Suis-je autorisé à vous connaître? Ou est votre...maître....moi attendons de visite? Am I allowed to get to know you? Or is your...master....expecting me to visit? She has to force herself to use the word “master”. She's heard Ariel say it in accordance to Yakuhara several times but it still sounds...sort of wrong to her. Can't she just say employer? Boss? Manager? Master sounds so...so... Blink: [size0]Je suis désolé. C'est juste de parler me calme et je peux vraiment utiliser ce sentiment droite environ maintenant. I'm sorry. It's just talking will calm me and I can really use that feeling right about now. A weak little smile before Blink eyes the floor finally able to come down to her complete senses and fully realizes how stupid she must have looked ready to unfasten her jeans. Not only that but how stupid she must look now. Faded pink jeans, black Time Bandit T-shirt, rabbit ears with one crooked...what does this girl think of her? Perhaps Blink shouldn't have dressed so outlandishly for the date. She reaches up ready to remove the rabbit ears and then remembers a comic she read not too long ago. In one particular chapter most of the women were fighting demons while wearing not only fake animal ears but maid attire as well. Setsuna...so powerful and strong. So skilled a fighter and yet so loyal to her friends. Recently she's begun coming into battle wearing a maids outfit and cat ears. Blink can't give up on the rabbit ears now as she rests her hands down over top of her thighs. Blink: [size0]Je suis désolé pour rendre ces avances sex-u-elles envers vous aussi bien. I'm sorry for making those sexual advances toward you as well. She wants to emphasize that that's not how she normally behaves. She doesn't take the cue of being kidnapped that someone wants to have sex with her. Still, this maid is so cute and pleasant...Blink just couldn't help but be a filthy, filthy slut. Cute girls, it's her weakness. |

Super Kamen Ranger frowns at the mention of Blink, thinking he's already aware of where this is going. Great, just what he needs is another lecture from some old guy about the dangers of women and stupid he's being getting involved with one. Or maybe this guy knows about Emily and he is thinking Kamen's involvement with her is bad for that aspect of her life. Whatever the case is, he's already feeling a little defensive, he doesn't like hearing people bad mouth Blink like this. Skull is excused for the simple fact that he's the man's mentor, and father figure, they have history and he trusts him. This man is in possession of none of those things. SKR: If you've brought me here to warn me about her, save it please, I've already hea- The Inter-Galactic Hero crosses his arms over his chest and he's looking rather impatient with this line of discussion. He sounds even more like he is, almost like he's talking down to the much older man when he starts in about Blink. Maybe Blink's done some questionable things but it doesn't change his resolve about her or how he feels about her. What he told her, that he'd protect her and always stay by her side, this is something he's going to stay true to no matter what. Too bad he gets interrupted. Archimedes: Not her, you fool! I'm talking about the danger you're getting the both of you two into! The Feathered Fighter is less than amused at what Kamen's assumed he's brought him here to talk about. He doesn't care about Blink's life or what some might consider threats she presents to him, they're minor compared to what he's talking about. No, the reason he's brought Kamen here tonight is to discuss the dangers Kamen & his life present to the pink haired girl. It is something that both catches the younger man off guard and confuses him, unsure of what he's getting at with what he's yelling. Amelia frowns for a moment, Blink told her not to call her Lady Madison, and she's supposed to obey her. But her master's instructed her to always add sir or lady to the front of a guest's name, depending upon their gender obviously. She thinks for a moment, trying to think of some way to comply with what the pink haired girl's asked her. Unfortunately for Blink, her master's word is final and so this request falls under the not within reason portion of her orders to tend to Blink. Amelia: [It's quite alright, Lady Madison. I'm sorry that I can't comply with it.] She bows her head to their guest, letting her know how deeply she regrets her inability to obey the other girl. Once she lifts up her head though she's back to smiling at the other girl, as if she hasn't looked sad a moment ago. It's partially due to her trying not to focus on anything negative like that for too long of a time. It helps her maintain the positive attitude her master prefers, so she simply pushes everything to the bottom of her heart that's bad. When Blink sits down and pats the bed next to her, Amelia takes it as the only thing she can as a maid, it's an order. So she acts like a good little maid and she maneuvers her way over to the bed and she sits down next to Blink on it. She looks over at the guest, smiling, and trying to listen as closely as she can to what she's got to say. They don't have long together here though she can at least try to make her as comfortable as possible while she waits in these chambers. It's while she's listening that she starts to realize who it is Blink might be talking about, and it's not a pet. She was on a date with this person, and it's somebody she cares very much about by the way she's spoken about them in this short time. The research their master's done on this girl isn't something Amelia's been entirely privy to, she must confess. Though she's learned enough about Blink to know that this person is most likely the man her master had been after, Super Kamen Ranger. So she did bring him. ...Maybe. There's a chance it could be somebody else, after all, it isn't like he's the only person in the world with K in their name. There's also a chance that there are others she's romantically linked to, others that she might be willing to go on a date with. It would be rash to assume it's him she's talking about; especially if she went & told her master only to find out she's incorrect. That sort of failure for her master is something she couldn't bear to handle; it would be disgraceful for a maid. Her thoughts about whether she should alert her master are interrupted when Blink's asking her about herself. Amelia's a little startled by the question, not used to their guests asking her about anything relating to herself. Well, besides the perverse questions that is their way of trying to get into her pants and get laid. She doesn't really count those, this is different, Blink seems like she's sincerely curious about the maid... ...Then again, she did just offer herself to Amelia. Amelia: [It's okay, Lady Madison. I...am not really supposed to talk much about myself. My master's told me doing so is not part of a maid's duties. We are meant to be seen, not heard, unless special situations call for us to talk.] Shaking her head at the pink haired girl, she keeps smiling at her and lets her know that it's okay. Both that she's in need of some calming and that she made some passes at her, with the latter maybe if things were different...She doesn't usually swing that way though Amelia admits, there is something attractive about Blink. It might be the outlandish attire or maybe...No, no, these are not thoughts a maid should be having. The door slowly opens and Amelia jumps back up to her feet before an elderly man walks through the door. He's rather tall and he looks fit & well maintained for a man that's clearly over sixty years old, in the twilight of his life. Judging by the suit he's wearing and the way he carries himself, it's safe to say he's some sort of butler. Whoever he is, Amelia bows to him, knowing exactly who he is. ?: [The master is ready to see you now, Lady Madison. Please follow me.] His voice has an air of class to it that's usually reserved for someone with a very nice upbringing. Yet there's something to it, just beneath the surface, something that makes him not sound quite right, like there's something rough around the edges there. Still, his smile and his gesturing to the door for Blink to follow him make him seem friendly enough that he isn't too scary to trust, in theory. Amelia starts shuffling after him quickly, pausing a moment to look behind her at the pink haired girl on the bed. Amelia: [Coming, Lady Madison?] |

Lady Madison. Blink is never going to get used to being called that. Or maybe it's the fear that if Emily is somehow watching this she's just added yet another thing to the list on what to correct Blink on. That and all this bowing and respect being sent toward her...Emily has to deflate that sense of self esteem before it turns into something far worse. That sounds bad, doesn't it? Well given that the last time Blink gained enough self esteem she was belittling those around her and neglecting her duties you might say that Emily is performing a service for everyone. Unfortunately, this service keeps Blink from learning how to manage her self esteem and therefore constant corrections are required. So who's side are you really on? Blink rises up to her feet figuring she should indeed follow after them. The possible owner of this place and Amelia's master brought her here for a reason. Of course the method wasn't necessarily required as Blink would have come along if they simply asked. Amelia doesn't seem like such a bad person, despite the wall her master has built up for her, so if she simply came to Blink as she had moments ago then yes, things would have gone a lot smoother for them. Blink: [size0]Oui, Miss Amelia. Yes, Miss. Amelia. A friendly smile on the face of the Bad Girl, is she trying to start up some sort of competition between the two? See who can become more submissive toward the other? The way Blink responds it almost sounds as though she were answering a direct order from Emily. Although...with a realization, Blink bows. Blink: Je suis tellement désolé, Miss. Amelia ! [size0]Je ne devrais vraiment pas être de vous parler de telle manière. Du moins pas ici. Je ne veux pas vous causer des ennuis avec votre ... hum ... Je vais vous parler comme on le ferait une servante d'adresse à partir de maintenant. I'm so sorry, Miss. Amelia! I really shouldn't be speaking to you in such a manner. At least not here. I don't wish to get you into trouble with your...um... I will speak to you as one would address a maid from now on. Nervously, Blink approaches the door but stops by the maid whispering so that the butler does not hear. Or at least attempt to speak in a tone that makes it difficult for him to understand. Blink: [size0]Bien que je ne vais pas dire que je suis sur la ferme conviction que nous sommes égaux. Nous avons tous deux servir les gens vraiment in-cro-ya-ble. Though I will not mean it as I am on the firm belief we are equal. We both serve truly amazing people. Blink has to assume that part about Amelia's master being “truly amazing” in the maid's eyes. He must be if she's been so proper up until now. If there was even the slightest hint of disrespect toward him she would have shown it in either her tone, choice of words, posture, or even appearance. Something would have told Blink that Amelia wishes she were elsewhere. Or maybe it's just Blink herself? No, she could never have that kind of effect on people. Blink eyes toward the corridor where she knows she'll soon be led through. But she hesitates. Blink: [size0]Avant de partir, pouvez-vous me promettre quelque chose? Before we go, can you promise me something? Prior to continuing, Blink shakes her head with a little smile as though thinking this idea was sheer lunacy. But she has to ask at the very least as she'll never know what the outcome could be unless she does. Blink: [size0]Je sais que nous con-nais-sons à peine les uns les autres, mais ... pouvez-vous rester avec moi? Lorsque je rencontre ... lui? I know we hardly know one another, but...can you stay with me? When I meet...him? She still doesn't want to say the word “master”. Blink: [size0]J'ai déjà perdu un visage souriant aujourd'hui, je ne veux pas perdre un autre de si tôt. I've already lost one smiling face today, I don't want to lose another so soon. Reasonable request, but will it go through? |

Kamen's struggling to come to terms with what he's being told, ironic, seeing as he's the only person to have thought of this before. There are some dangers to his life, he admits but he feels Blink's proven she can handle the mass majority of them on her own. Not that she'd need to, he'd usually always be by her side to help her, and should he ever be away, he knows there are others. This is even assuming she wishes to become a bigger part of his life that these issues would start to rise. He does only have Ariel's word to go on. Is that really enough? It's still weird for him to have someone else voice these concerns to him, considering what he hears most of the time. That Blink's the dangerous one in their potential relationship; he's the one that needs to watch his step with this. She's maybe a lesbian and she's got her loyalty to Emily Stratfield to take into consideration as well. Neither of those things are good for the fate of a relationship, should the two of them start one. Archimedes: Do you even realize you nearly walked into a trap? He's growing impatient with this boy, this is him trying to do the kid a favor and he's acting like a know-it-all. So the older masked man decides to knock him down a peg by revealing to him that Blink's and his meeting was a trap. If he wanted to be really mean he could mention how he got the drop on the kid & intercepted him. That's a little unfair though, he's been doing this alot longer than the kid has & experience can make a world of difference. Archimedes: I thought I'd have more time, you two were cutting it so close I barely had enough time to cut in before they showed up. I would've grabbed the girl too but I knew they were already there and going to make their move after they saw my smoke bomb. So I only had enough time to get you out of there. You're welcome, by the way. Grumble, grumble, grumble is a great way to sum up how the old man is talking to the Interstellar Insect. He sounds annoyed by the entire thing, can't say I blame him, he had laid out his plan perfectly for tonight's little rescue. They'd show up, he'd throw down a smoke bomb, grab them both and whisk them away from danger. Then they had to go and mess all that up by being punk kids, and doing what punk kids do best, nearly being late for something. SKR: Wait! So that was a trap?! Why wouldn't you save Summer first?! That's what he gets for being too trusting of mystery invitations; it leads him almost straight into a trap. This isn't what he's focusing on right now though, he's far more concerned with an idle side note of what all of this means. If what he's saying is true, it means Blink's been left to walk right into the trap that this man's saved him from. The idea of that makes him sound less than happy when he yells at the masked man, stepping forward and grabbing him by the collar of his cape. Archimedes: Because, moron, it was you they were after. They simply used her as a way to lure you there. If Kamen didn't know grabbing a person like that is a bad idea before, he knows now by the way Archie growls & swats his hands away. He doesn't need this shit, he's got stuff he could be doing tonight, he's got patrol still to do and there's crimes to be stopped. In any other instance, where this didn't involve an innocent's safety, he'd knock this kid out & walk off on his ungrateful ass. Something that comes across when he has to speak between his clenched jaw, almost hissing the words at Kamen. Archimedes: She's probably fine, for now. You're lucky too; the situation could've easily been different. Now are you starting to get it? This life is a dangerous one for those that take part in it, let alone those that you pull into it with you. Your loved ones are often the ones that pay the price for your deeds; they're the ones your enemies are going to use like pawns. In the end, they always get hurt. Right, getting back to the point of why he dragged this kid here, he turns his back on him and walks away from him. His voice is gruff enough that he's heard, even when he's almost back over to the ledge within a few seconds of walking. Old habits, they die hard, whenever he's on a roof top now he always feels the most comfortable near the ledge. Something that's been ingrained in his brain from this god forsaken job, he prays he never starts losing his marbles & ends up in a home. That's what the nurses would need to see, some crazy old guy walking to the ledge. SKR: I know all that! I'm not some child, I know the risks. But...but it's okay, if your loved one is capable of handling themselves, they'll be okay. I think Summer is able to do that and she seems to want something here. I don't see what's so wrong with us dating. The Inter-Galactic Hero takes more steps forward, trying to get closer to the older man again. He's trying to show that he isn't angry at the guy, he appreciates him trying to look out for Blink, it's touching in a way. But he's confident that Blink is something that qualifies in the fields that their operation requires someone's significant other to have. He's sure that whatever trouble comes their way, they'll be able to handle it together...if they get that far, at least. Archimedes: Kid, let me tell you a story. Now his back is fully turned to him, even after all these years it's hard for him to bring this subject up. It's probably because he's never really had anyone to help ease him through the pain it gave him, having closed himself off afterwards. He didn't care then and he still doesn't care, he has no regrets, he dove head first into his work to take his mind off it. Even when the odds, and age, slowly stacked against him, he kept plugging away and he kept himself as hard as rock. Archimedes: I didn't always work Paris, as you might have guessed, I used to work England, Manchester to be precise. Back when I was young, and stupid, I had a mission that let me meet another one of us, her name was Mademoiselle. We worked together and we did well, and soon we started finding silly excuses to take cases where the other was, you know, dumb kid stuff. Eventually we did what any two dumb idiots would do, we fell in love and we started dating. The memories are flooding back, he was such a dumbass when he was young he now realizes. He isn't sure if he'd do anything differently, for the good times but it's still something he ponders about the rare occasion he lets himself think about this. If only he knew then what he now knows, heh, there's a sign that he's becoming an old man. There's another, getting lost in his own thoughts about the past and telling stories, better go get the diapers. Archimedes: Things went well for a while and we got serious, I transferred to Paris to be with her on the same unit. We worked together with a few of the other locals, everything was going pretty great. Then...an old enemy of mine finally got out of prison after I sent him there for a nice few decades. He was the delusional type, thought the two of us had some great connection that meant only one of us could kill the other. The usual sideshow whackjob bullshit. The masked man stares out at the city below them, watching the people that are walking along the street. He doesn't intentionally mean to, he thinks, but he zeroes in on one of the very loving couples that are down there tonight. Yeah, they were something like that, probably a bit less posh though it's close enough. It almost makes him smile till he comes to the part of his story where things are coming off the rails. Archimedes: She disappears...for weeks, and I tear up this city trying to find her, I use every connection I have to figure it out. Then one night on patrol...I get my invitation from the freak. It's all the same M.O., it's all I need to know, and I try to make it to the sewage plant as quickly as I can. She'd already been dead, nearly for as long as she'd been gone; he just kept her there, strung up like a piece of meat. He just kept cutting and ripping till he got bored and he called me in to show me his work... There's a whirlwind of emotions running through the man's voice, anger, hurt, and a not so subtle amount of numbness. Even just talking about it makes him want to shudder though he's holding it back, least till he gets to the end of the story. He can see the horror on the kid's face, what's visible anyways, when he gets to this part of his story. They're never going to talk about it and yet he has a pretty good idea what Kamen is thinking when he finishes the story that he's spun for him. Archimedes: My point is, kid...She was one of us, had been for years and she still paid the ultimate price for being with me. So ask yourself, could you handle that, are you willing to risk that to be with this girl? Maybe just as importantly as that...are you going to be able to live with yourself if that happens to her? Now is when he turns back around so that they're masked face to masked face, he wants to see the kid. He wants to see him, look him in the face when he gives him the answer to this question, this impossible question he's given him. It isn't that he's getting enjoyment out of this, he feels bad about it but it's something that's got to be done. Last thing he wants is this kid to lie to himself to make the easier choice, whatever answer he gives; he wants it to be the kid's honest answer. ... ...Miss... ... ...Amelia... The color pink is too hard to hide on her cheeks when she's called this by their guest, despite her best efforts to do so. Her mind is racing with what she should do or what she should say, it isn't her place to be called such a thing by a guest. She's a maid, a lowly maid, the servant to her master and temporary servant to any guests her master tells her to be. It's embarrassing and terrible that Blink is under the belief that the two of them are equal, she must've failed at her duties in some way. Her mind is in the heat of battle, wondering where she went wrong, how badly she did and what her suitable punishment should be. Not that she'd immediately assume she knows best, simply their master usually takes their suggestion into consideration. That's probably because he's of the belief that Norman, the head butler's trained them well enough to know their place & suitable punishments for whatever crime. But if her conditioning is so messed up that it allowed Blink to think she must treat her with such honor & respect... Amelia's almost on the verge of tears of joy when Blink speaks up again, bringing her out of her funk. She thanks God several times over for what's coming out of Blink's mouth, it helps calm her down & ease whatever doubts she had. It's okay, she didn't fail her duties as a maid, she's still a good maid to her master & she's done well with Blink. It must've simply been a slip of the tongue or a momentary confusion that led to the pink haired girl referring to her in such a way. ...Then Blink crushes that by whispering to her. There's something of a whimper in response to it. She tries, so hard, she really does. When Blink talks again, and speaks of a request, Amelia's ears perk up and so does the rest of her. Yes, here's her chance for redemption! She listens as closely as she can to everything Blink's saying, listening so intensely she's not really listening. Well, she is, she's just focusing so much energy on paying attention it's making it hard for her brain to register everything that's being said. It slowly trickles through and she nods her head a few times along with what the Bad Girl is telling her. Amelia: [Yes, Lady Madison, I will stay with you. I am your vassal while you're here.] Without hesitation she nods her head one last time, to show how serious she is about staying near Blink. The pink hue returns to her cheeks momentarily and her smile turns sheepish, her eyes casting downward when she agrees to it. It seems she's at her worst when she reveals she's meant to be Blink's vessel for her time here. Hopefully she understands such terminology; otherwise she is going to be wondering how she's meant to sail on Amelia. So it's decided, and with that the two ladies join the butler in the corridor, one that's made out of stone & lit by torches too. Neither the butler or Amelia seem fazed by this, both are walking along like it's normal to be in a building like this. For what feels like a few minutes the trio is walking down the hall, passing a few old wooden doors along the way. There's a light at the end of the hallway that's come into view and it doesn't look like it's coming from a torch. Eventually they pass the threshold and suddenly everything's different, there are no torches or any stone walls & floors. Everything's slick here, it is white chrome walls and ceiling & marble floor in what looks like it is very much a loft or studio apartment. There's a small set of stairs they go down that takes them into the living room area, barely lit by the lights on the ceiling. The fireplace to the right is giving the room more light than the actual lighting though it looks like it's purposely set on low. Setting the mood much? Just needs some Barry Manilow. Anyways, there's a massive bear skin rug on the floor and over it there are a few leather chairs surrounding a coffee table. It's here that the butler gestures for Blink to take a seat at and Amelia waits patiently off to the side, waiting for her too. She's already decided that she'll stand next to whatever chair it is that Blink decides to sit at, being unable to sit herself too. It's another one of her master's rules, when he's having company like tonight, the help may not sit down with them. The butler walks along to the left side of the table, opposite the fireplace, and he goes up the small steps. Two of the four walls are large glass windows, obscured by blinds and it's near this side of it that there's another chair. This one is more like a throne than the others though there's something modern to it, might be the leather it's made out of. Whatever the case, the butler walks up to it and he stands beside it, bending over to talk to presumably someone in it. ?: [Master, Lady Madison is here.] His voice is warm in spite of the stuffiness to his voice, like a father might have talking to his son. There's a similar beaming quality to his face when he speaks to Amelia's and his master, and that's with good reason. He's been around the man the longest out of any of the help, having helped the birthing process that brought him into this world. It's been since the very first day he's been alive his honor to serve him, and he's quite happy to see him in lighter spirits lately after... Best not think about it. ?: Thank you, Norman, you may go. Ah ha, so the butler's Norman, the head of the help & the man that wrote the invitation for Blink to come here. The man's voice is gentle; having a similar quality to Norman's a moment ago, not like he's simply talking to the help. It's more like he's speaking to his father or maybe his uncle, appreciative of what he's done for him. His hand comes into view when he gestures with it that Norman's free to go and do as he pleases for the time being, he'll call if he needs anything. The chair spins around and in it is a dashing man, he looks to be somewhere in his mid-thirties, maybe late thirties. His long black hair is tied into a neat ponytail behind him and if the saying that dress for success is true, he's not doing too bad. His body is clothed in a black business jacket and a black button up shirt with the last few buttons undone and black dress slacks. Everything is of the finest quality from designers most never even heard of, including his leather dress shoes. ?: Summer Madison, it's an honor to finally meet you. You may call me Chevalier. Chevalier, as he's called himself, is smiling at the sight of the pink haired girl that's in his presence. He seems friendly enough, giving her a warm welcome and giving a small bow in his seat to her to show what an honor it is to meet her. She isn't his type though he can see why he's heard things about this girl; he could make an exception for her. Usually he'd find her attire unfitting for a woman though the bunny ears give him hope; she might be a freak in the sheets. Chevalier: Please, have some wine. It's with his right hand he gestures to a bottle and an already filled glass of wine that's on the coffee table. Why can't he gesture with his left hand? That's because it's holding his own glass of wine, wine that looks like it's come from the very same bottle as Blink's. In case she needs encouragement, Amelia gives her something of a nod, to show that it's okay & it's safe to drink. Lucky for both of them Chevalier is paying her no mind; she is the help after all. There is only Summer Madison and himself in this room as far as he's concerned. |

Blink is gone, she's run into the school and before Cyndi can react there's another smokebomb blinding her from her trails. This one though she notices after hearing it hit the ground by her feet. She watches it roll and turns the opposite direction. If they're just using debilitaters such as smokebombs, then Blink is in no immediate danger. The assailant, on the other hand, has given away the direction of his position and after rushing through the smoke Cyndi looks to go and find them. However, her serious expression is quickly removed. Cyndi: Don't you worry, my sweet Blinky, I'll collect the assailant and we can both make him pay. Together. Just the two of us. You and me. There's a thin trail of drool from the side of her near smiling mouth and a glazed over expression but it's not enough of a hindrance to her to stop her pursuit. Still nervous throughout the entire walk, Blink takes her cues on how to act by watching Amelia. If she was calm enough to walk through here, then so could she. Besides, what would freaking out again possibly accomplish? Nothing, Amelia and this man would simply have to chase her in a place where they clearly have the home-field advantage. Not a single place she could hide that they wouldn't look and that just drives Blink's nervous level up to a new point. Though when she looks again at the calm maid Blink takes a quick moment to settle herself. She can't come to the man looking timid otherwise he might think his maid did a horrible job keeping her calm. Blink would jump to the younger girls defence, but how far would it go? Amelia would still get the punishment because you don't exactly punish the guests, do you? Soon they're in a new room, one that certainly takes Blink by surprise. Enough to the point she doesn't notice the Butler leave until he's halfway to his destination. From there she watches him go and speak with a gentleman on the other side of a table. Blink takes her cue that one of these chairs is for her to sit in after following Amelia there the rest of the way. What did she mean by vassal? Blink had heard the term used once by Emily in description of her when they were first writing up the pact deal. It was a passing thought that Emily believed still gave sign to too much freedom and thus the word “tool” was put in instead. A drink? Moments after bowing herself, Blink eyes the bottle and glass on the table and then over toward Amelia to see if it's okay. She nods and Blink straightens up enough to make her way toward the table slowly reaching for the bottle. She would like to tell this man, as to not insult him, that tonight she plans upon taking all of her cues from the maid. For a variety of reason. -Blink never knows how to act in these situations. Typically she's standing in the maids position whenever Emily is entertaining guests. -She knows that Amelia's position isn't to steer her in the wrong direction, one that would earn her the rage and hatred of her host. It's one of the rules of Yakuhara's maids that they keep the guest happy...if they're female. So thus far Blink has been treated quite well by them. -She would hate to have Amelia feeling useless. Standing there and having her slight gestures like the nod being ignored. -Blink too is a maid. Yep, one of Yakuhara's signed maids. Although she only works as one on Tuesday, in accordance to the days attire, so to learn from an outside maid is a great experience itself. -Lastly, because Blink still needs to see a friendly face every so often to keep from crying. Back to the drink now. Emily has made it perfectly clear that absolutely no alcohol is to touch Blink's lips. In no way, shape, or form. Even taking a kiss from someone who has just had a drink is a capital offence. Of course, two separate capital offences as what was Blink doing being kissed in the first place? Still, it was an offer and Amelia did nod. Both combined it comes as a direct order, one Blink will know she'll be paying for but then again she'll be paying for everything. By now Emily's probably given up on writing a list and will just beat her three quarters to death just for being insubordinate and stupid. Blink reaches for the bottle and begins pouring herself what she believes to be an acceptable amount. She has a small tasting sip and then raises her brow. Why would Emily try and keep her away from something so good? Perhaps Blink didn't deserve it? She refills the glass with a little more this time and sits down before taking another sip. She looks up toward Amelia wondering if she'll sit down next to her but then remembers the rules of engagement a maid must live under while on active service. Maybe it's the alcohol talking, but Blink wonders when Amelia won't be. Blink turns her attention toward her host fighting the urge from having yet another sip of her drink so early. Whenever she watches people drink they take their sips in moderation, Blink should be doing so as well. If she speaks, she can take her mind off the drink in her hand. But what does she talk about? Or even ask about? Kamen Ranger? Cyndi? Their location? Why he brought her here? What time Amelia gets off? No, that last one is a bit too personal. Blink doesn't want to bring up the topic of Kamen Ranger again because that would both give her an opening to cry uncontrollably and also she doesn't want to bring him up again around Amelia. The thought of the maid thinking Blink's just some weak girlfriend is too much for her to bear. Besides, another reason Blink wishes to keep from Amelia thinking of her as just some girlfriend is to make her appear open...should they get in a little more private time. Wait, why is Blink's mind going this way over such a proper woman? Maybe it's the drink. How long has it been? Blink's already lost track of time between sips so just to be on the safe side she has another. Blink: [size0]Si je suis autorisé à demander, pourquoi suis-je ici? Je ne veux pas paraître si ex-i-ge-ant avec mes questions, c'est juste ... If I am allowed to ask, why am I here? I really don't mean to sound so demanding with my questions, it's just... It's just she feels no other way she can word them without coming across as being demanding of answers. Whenever he's ready and willing to tell her this, or anything, that's when he'll say it. Blink immediately feels the guilt over trying to take control of this conversation. She eyes the glass wondering if it'll help, the delicious flavour bringing her back to a shortened state of euphoria. A place where she's happy and feeling wonderful all the time. Something needed for here and now. Blink indeed takes that sip feeling the buzz and wonders if she keeps taking something like this she'll always stay in a state of happiness. But moderation is key, and if something this weak always eventually drags her back down...she'll need something stronger. |

As soon as Blink sits down Amelia is standing beside her chair, like a faithful pet that's there to keep its master company. She smiles brightly when her master becomes visible & he smiles at Blink, welcoming her with open arms to his residence. There's the faintest hint of pink to her cheeks, recalling her few & fleeting moments alone with her master, he is quite the flirt. Ironic he makes sure no guests are allowed to hit on the help...when he certainly does quite often. Not that she minds. Both of them are watching Blink when she pours herself a glass of the wine, Chevalier's attention bouncing between Blink and his own glass. He continues to turn the neck of the glass ever so slightly between his thumb & index fingers, twirling the contents of it. This might be a new experience for Blink but for him, he's been drinking wine for some time now & been schooled in the proper ways to handle it. The host is giving his glass a chance to breathe a little before he drinks any of it. His eyes drift back over to his guest, watching her; she clearly doesn't really have any idea of what it is she's doing. It's cute, in a sad sort of way, if his information on her is correct, a woman of her age should know a thing or two by now about wine. Ah well, such a tragedy is being corrected tonight and whose presence is better for her to have it corrected in than his? They'll be sharing now as opposed to him taking and giving nothing back in exchange. It's now that he decides to take a small sip of the wine, letting it rush through his mouth and onto his tongue. He savors the flavors, taking everything in, getting so lost in it for a moment that he closes his eyes to focus solely on it. The complexities of it are unraveled before him and as per his studies; he knows everything there is to know about the wine. If asked, he could probably tell you even the person that picked the grapes that were used to make the wine. With that moment over, his eyes open once more and he continues to watch the pink haired girl. It's now that he notices in the time it took him to take one tiny sip of his glass of wine, Blink's already taken quite a bit from her glass. He has to fight back a smile, well, it's at least a good thing that she likes wine, he supposes. It would've made things more complicated had she not liked the wine he had selected for them. Before he can get down to brass tacks, Blink asks him the very thing he had intended to bring up. Her host can't help but smirk at her, she may seem like a push over yet she's got guts to ask somebody that's brought her here that. Most would probably still be on edge, afraid that his plans for her are evil ones meant to do harm to her. Truth is, she wasn't the one he wanted though he's going to make the most of this; he still has a use for her. Chevalier: Yes, yes, of course. I'm sorry, Summer, how rude of me. I know you're a busy woman, having to get ready for your match with Archibald. That's interesting; he knows about Blink enough to know something of her career, least for the coming week. It's not surprising if one knows what Amelia knows about what her master's been up to the past few weeks in his study. He's tried to find out everything he can about the pink haired girl, every piece of information he could find. Some connects he no longer has, this is true but he's still got enough power & influence to retrieve all he needs to know about Blink. Chevalier: So how do you like Saint Denis so far, beautiful isn't it? I've always felt it was one of the nicer areas of Paris. His English is surprisingly good though there's still a hint of a French accent in his words, giving them a slight different quality to them. His smile fades a little and his eyes cast downward to his glass when he mentions his own feelings about Saint Denis to her. There's a quiet reflection to his demeanor, one that looks like it's hiding something underneath the surface of his feelings. What it is hiding is anybody's guess, depression, sadness, happiness, guilt, anger? Chevalier: I'm sure it'll surprise you to know but Saint Denis is actually one of the worst areas of Paris to live in. The crime rate is extraordinarily high, in spite of the how nice of a place it is. There's a weak attempt at a smile on his part and he glances back up at his guest when he starts talking again. He sounds almost regretful to inform her of this little fact, that Saint Denis has slowly but steadily become a crime infested area. The police are relatively powerless to do anything about it; so many cases are left unsolved. It isn't even just major things either, simple, little and petty crimes are left unresolved and the criminals are left to run home free. Chevalier: It wasn't always like this... Now there's a distinct emotion he has when he glances back down to his wine glass & he speaks once more. It's anger, the type that's quiet on the outside but on the inside you can tell the fury he's feeling is ripping him apart, piece by piece. His eyes have such an intensity to them that one is fearful if he'd look at them they'd be crushed by the weight of it. Amelia frowns a little, she hates to see her master like this but she had a pretty good idea this was coming sooner or later. Chevalier: ...Tell me Summer Madison... The wine glass is set down and afterwards he plants his hands against the arms of the chair, and he pushes himself up to his feet. Slowly and yet with a purpose her host walks down the few steps & he circles around the coffee table that divides them. His words linger in the air, said in a dead sort of way, like the man's been sapped of all the happiness & life he had a moment ago. Strangely, his eyes aren't on Blink, they're looking beyond her; they seem to be looking at the fire place. Chevalier: [Do you know what makes your little masked friend super?] Blink might be growing nervous again when he leans into her, their shoulders touching as his lips find her ear. His lips hover closely to her ear, he is looking like he's about to do something incredibly inappropriate for someone who’s a stranger. The expression, the cold, hard expression on his face is the only tip of the hat that he's not intending to do anything sexual with his position. Rather he uses his native tongue to ask her a question he whispers to her, a question that's about Super Kamen Ranger. Chevalier doesn't wait for an answer, as soon as he's done asking, he stands up & he walks past her chair. He breezes past his maid, who is looking very sad over the state her master's in, and he climbs up the few steps on this side. Her host makes his way over to the fireplace and it's now that we realize his eyes aren't on the fireplace, they're on what's above it. With the lighting as dim as it is, it had been hard to notice it at first glance but there's a large portrait that's hanging on the mantel. It's a portrait of a man dressed very similar to Super Kamen Ranger, this one's got a bit more of a medieval knight motif to it. Even with the knight style helmet, anyone can see those eyes. The same eyes as Kamen's. |

Scared. Despite his calm and pleasant demeanour, Chevalier himself still manages to send a frightful tinge through Blink's body. She forgets her drink but remembers something far more important; her match. She's supposed to be training for it. The only amount of training she's gotten herself into these past few hours has been with her tongue. Wow that...that doesn't sound as right if you've just been skipping through everything right until now. Of course Blink can't just get up and begin running against the room or throwing herself against the walls now can she? Maybe she can ask Amelia to hit her, help build that threshold for pain. It's at first what Emily was doing before she started calling it “correcting”. Emily. Emily! Oh no! Blink just realizes, she looks down and...no. Oh dear god no. The gloves, where did the gloves go? Did she lose them? Drop them? Did they take them from her? Collateral that she stay here and listen to them? She needs...she needs...she needs to calm down. Slow breathing, slow breathing. Maybe a smiling face? No! Amelia is looking all kinds of troubled. The one thing Blink requested, no, Blink just requested she stay with her. So warm, she needs them now. She's trying hard not to show it, but she needs. Them. Now. Wait. What's that...that thing...that thing that helps her out now? Calms her down, gives her bliss. Allows her to leave the troubles of the world she faces day in and day out. She needs strength now more than ever. Guidance. Someone who actually listens! Blinks fingers feel the glass stem and without even looking she finishes off everything that's in there. Yes...that certainly does it. However, it's only temporary, she knows that. Amelia's smiling face won't always be there, Kamen Ranger isn't around, Blink needs to secure her escape. So before joining her host at the portrait she reaches across the table and takes hold of the bottle. She considers just pouring herself a second glass, but she'll need a lot of it to keep her blissful state going and it would be rude to constantly leave during their discussion in order to fill up her glass again. Besides, that would just make her look like a lush. Bottle and glass in hand, Blink joins up with the host so that she too can get a good look at the portrait. It...does sorta look like Kamen Ranger, though she has to tilt her head to the side in order to see it his way. Blink takes another sip, this time unknowingly at first from the bottle. Once she realizes she quickly lowers the bottle hoping no one had noticed. But it makes sense to her, everything does now. Emily and Catherine might try to take it away from her, but it's moments like these when she's alone that she knows she'll need it. So drink from the bottle. No glasses means there's a less of a chance they'll find out. Blink doesn't mean to lie, but she can't stand the loneliness and the problems anymore. And when the only other alternative motive is to be a burden... Congratulations, Nir, you turned my character into an alcoholic. As if her sex addiction wasn't bad enou—oh don't act like you never noticed. Blink: [size0]N'est-il pas un étranger? Isn't he an alien? It's the story that Blink's been led to believe. She pours herself the second glass looking back up at the portrait for a moment. Everything Kamen Ranger told her about him, it sounds like he's from another planet. Though he does seem to know an awful lot about Earth's customs. Not only that but his partner doesn't seem to speak the same way he does about their past. Not that he's ever talked to Blink about it, still. Blink takes a calming sip of her drink while keeping her gaze up on the face of the individual in the portrait. She's still slightly confused. Why would he be asking her this? Wouldn't he know? Wouldn't he at the very least have a better understanding? The bottles getting kinda heavy in Blink's hand and she figures that holding it might look a bit wrong. So back to the table she goes refilling the glass first before whispering toward Amelia. Blink: [size0]Miss Amelia, avez-vous vu les gants que je portais? Miss. Amelia, have you seen the gloves I was wearing? Then she looks back over at the portrait only to lean a little closer toward the maid. Blink: [size0]Et pourquoi cela ressemble K-Kun? And why does that look like K-Kun? Why is she still talking to the maid when she has a host she can direct her questions toward? It's because Amelia doesn't scare her. Though her act at trying to keep her discussion a secret most likely fails when she suddenly bows toward the maid. She still whispers though, but the sudden gesture... Blink: [size0]Je suis désolé. Je ne veux pas encore le fardeau que vous avec des questions. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to still burden you with questions. A quick realization follows as Blink straightens up and eyes her host hoping he didn't notice that. The last thing she wants is to get the maid in trouble. Blink: [size0]Je suis désolé. I'm sorry. |

Chevalier's attention never leaves the portrait of the masked figure, it's almost like he's in a trance. His eyes are filled with an array of emotions, each one playing out and another taking over & carrying over into the next. It's like he, himself, is unable to decide what he feels when he looks at the painting that sits on top of his fireplace. Regardless of what emotions are playing out, he can't take his eyes off of it, as if he does, it'll simply vanish into thin air on him. The one constant in his eyes is minor at first though it steadily grows stronger & stronger. Eventually it's the dominant emotion, one that's as primal as they come, a basic function that even the simplest of creatures are able to have. Want, he wants what he sees when he looks at this portrait, he wants it so desperately it looks like it's eating him up. One could go as far as to call what he's experiencing a type of greed. Power. It's what he wants. Power. Same old song, eh? Her claiming of the bottle and her constant drinking from it he doesn't mind, it was meant for her anyways. It's a gift, little of more value than a grain of sand to someone like him; he has a vast collection of wines at his deposal. Some of them are of much better quality than the one he selected for this occasion too. He simply picked a moderate one, seeing as she is a guest but not one he has any personal business with. It's when Blink tries to answer his question that her host finally acknowledges her presence again. He smiles, his eyes prying themselves away from the portrait to look at the girl that he's brought here to discuss business with. Her answer is an amusing one one could guess, given the way he's looking at her after what she's said to him. The look is almost like the one an adult gives a child after they've said something blissfully simple to an overly complicated situation. An alien, if only. When she parts from his company to set the bottle down he waits, his gaze returning to the portrait while Amelia tends to Blink. Amelia's suddenly looking rather surprised when Blink asks her the first question, the guest's gloves! She had almost forgotten about those, with everything that's going on and everything she's had to tend to. The maid gives a quick little bow to show her apologies to the pink haired guest, she should've said something sooner. Amelia: [I'm sorry, Lady Madison. Norman had thought it rude for you to wear such things in our master's presence and so he took them off when we brought you here...] She's a little nervous when letting the Bad Girl know what became of the gloves her friend had gotten for her. More so when she has to mention that Norman had been unhappy with the thought of a guest wearing such things in front of their master. She didn't see the harm and she thought they were nice gloves but he is the head of the help, his word is only second to their master's. So to disobey him would have been a terrible thing for a lowly maid like her to do. Amelia: [I kept them on me, just in case you wanted them though.] There's more of a smile now that she's able to mention the second part to the story. Her hands dip into her apron's pouch for a moment and when they come back out; they're holding the red gloves. The maid is hasty in her passing them off to Blink, making sure she's not making the girl wait on her to hand them over. The last thing she'd want to do is waste Blink's time, and by proxy waste the time of her master. Her second question makes her blood run a little cold, so that confirms it; K-kun is who she thought he is. This means that she did bring Super Kamen Ranger with her as their master had wanted, and this explains something else. The first smoke bomb, it had been from somebody that must've come in and grabbed the man before they could. It makes her wonder, and nibble on her bottom lip, if this person meant to save SKR or if they had taken the chance they made to get him for themselves. Chevalier: Several years ago, Summer, there were more than one Kamen Ranger. Blink's host must have good hearing, having heard her question from a few feet away and it was a whisper at that! What he says though isn't an exact answer as to why the portrait resembles the man she knows, least when he's in uniform. It does shed some light, and with it, the host turns his back on the portrait so that he can face his maid & his guest. He offers them both a smile, something that makes his maid smile all the brighter, pleased to see him in a slightly better mood. Chevalier: We were stationed throughout the Earth and a few of us elsewhere too. It was, back then, a highly debated idea of where exactly these powers came from and the source behind it all. Some, less intelligent, lots argued it was magic that made these powers come into being. Others who were men of science, like myself, debated that the only logical explanation is that they were alien. Whichever side of the debate you were on, you knew one thing, the suits were symbiotic, you became one with them once you wore them. With every few words he takes another step forward so that he's closer to the two women. It sounds like he finds the whole debate the Kamen Rangers had amusing, looking back on it now, and then he had been fairly serious about it. He had been one of the ones that rallied the troops the most for the pro-science side of the argument. Now he simply waves off both sides, gesturing at them in a dismissive manner. Chevalier: I do not know what that boy's beliefs are. If he follows in his predecessor's footsteps, then he believes as I do, they are alien made. So he wasn't lying when he said alien...seeing as he's unable to be classified as human either anymore now that he's worn the suit. The smile slips ever so slightly when he makes mention of Super Kamen Ranger, it's no wonder it's a sore spot for him. If what he's saying is true, it isn't hard to guess that he is the man in the portrait, he had been one of the Kamen Rangers. To lose something like that, is it any wonder that he hungers to have that power back? The smile does return once he's explained that SKR hadn't been lying to Blink, if he had told her he was alien, albeit could be seen as misleading. Chevalier: Back then Saint Denis was my domain and it had one of the best crime rates in the entire world, no one dared mess with it. But as they say, all good things...The source of each Kamen Ranger's power lay in an amulet in the belts we each wore; it was the core to the belt's power. I call them amulets but they were more like fragments, there was even a silly legend to go with them. That they had once been a whole...unfortunately...not everyone saw it as a silly legend. His right hand clenches into a fist, lifting up to chest level on him when he proclaims what Saint Denis once was. The look in his eyes is one of passion, showing how much it meant to him that he had power over this little slice of the world. How much he enjoyed the fact that criminals feared him and ran off to elsewhere to do their crimes, leaving his home safe from it. This passion dies when he brings up the legend, and he turns his back on his guest & his maid. Chevalier: One of us...a delusional fool believed the old legend surrounding them, and he turned on his brothers. One by one he fought them, putting his own fragment on the line against their fragment, collecting them. Fate was a cruel mistress to him in the end though, knocking him off the mortal coil before he could finish collecting them all. Fate was far crueler to the rest of us, who still had our fragments, for the fool...had a student. I still remember the night that monster came and found me... There are a handful of men running along the streets of Saint Denis, trying to swerve in between the main streets & the alley ways. Each of them is clinging to bags full of what looks like expensive jewelry, an alarm going off in the distance. They've made it out of their safe but they're scared, they know what is tailing them, they can feel it. They also know what it means if what's tailing them is able to catch up to them, and it's why their seconds away from pissing themselves. High above them on the roof tops, he's already hopping from building to building after them, keeping an eye on them. He's been tailing them for a block or two now, he's decided to have a little fun with them tonight rather than just the usual. Not that they could cause any more trouble if they even wanted to, he has them right where he wants them to be. The slightest sign of doing anything else, harming anyone else and he's down there & putting them down. Eventually he grows bored of playing with them and he jumps down, taking down one of them with a kick on his way down. The rest fall with ease, like dominos, it's barely even anything resembling a challenge for him to fight these common thugs. They're all far too scared of the Knight of France to really put in much of a fight, let alone their skills helping them any. He's seen children with better fighting skills than this lot, and within a few minutes they're all on the ground, knocked out. It was so easy he never sees the gloved fist coming that punches him, rocking him backwards & almost off his feet. He's in complete shock that someone got the jump on him and he looks around, trying to see if one of the thugs got up & got him. No, no way, all these men are out of it, and they're far too inexperienced to have been able to land a punch like the one he got. Someone else is here, and it's putting him on edge that they're skilled enough to be blending into the darkness like this. Suddenly. There. A few feet in front of him... ...Those eyes... Those glowing, demonic eyes. It's a monster. It's a demon. It's the Devil. The figure steps into the light, revealing the mask it's wearing, fashioned to look like a human skull... Chevalier: And so that bastard bested me, and he took my amulet, stripped me of all my power. I was defenseless, unable to keep protecting the city I loved and so...I've stayed hidden. I've continued to run my company and I've stayed in the shadows, watching, it's the only thing I could do. I watched my city turn to ruin and I watched as that monster collected the pieces, and then...gave the belt, and the amulet, of legend to that brat. His lip curls into a snarl when he's forced to relive that moment, the moment the Phantom Skull came for him. How defenseless he had been against the fool, the even bigger fool than his mentor had been, taking up the task his teacher had left behind. That scum had told him he had sworn to his mentor that he'd finish what his mentor had started as the man's dying wish. But it doesn't make him any less of a sentimental fool, in his book at least, and someone that he wants to see hurt badly. Chevalier: Now...something else is coming, coming our way. Those two knuckleheads caused it and should in theory be the only ones punished but our bosses are going to punish everyone when they get here. This includes someone like me, who is on the inactive list and has been for a while. It's why I wanted to talk to you tonight, Summer, and why I wanted you to bring our mutual friend. It's really doubtful one could consider Chevalier and Kamen friends, seeing as they've never met each other. Even without that fact, it doesn't seem like he's very fond of the man that Blink knows, having called him a brat a moment ago. He is even less of a fan of the man's mentor, Skull, by all accounts of what he's been telling the pink haired girl. In fact, by the way he's been talking; one could argue he's an enemy of the two, an enemy that has Blink as his guest. Chevalier: If I show support for them and their trial before they arrive to punish those two, I will be spared any fallout. I had intended to unmask your friend and learn his true identity, and get proof of the events that took place between you two. So that I could use it to ensure my safety and to ensure that filth he calls his mentor is punished worse for his crimes. But unfortunately you've failed to bring him to me...and so I must go with an alternative... His back still to Blink, he gazes into the fire, smiling when he recalls what he had meant to do today. If he could reveal what his sources are saying is true, that the boy's revealed his face & his name to Blink, it could be his bargaining chip. It could be the thing that saves him from going down with everybody else, and something else more important. This could mean he gets to see that skull wearing bastard suffer all the more, and that's something he'd give anything to see. Chevalier: So I ask of you, Summer Madison, please tell me Kamen's name and if you can...draw a picture of him. Back to being friendly and charming, turning around and smiling at the pink haired girl again, and he motions to Amelia. Amelia bows her head to her master and she picks up from the coffee table a pad of paper & a pencil, gesturing for Blink to take it. One can assume this is meant to be what she's supposed to draw Kamen's real face onto for her host that plans to use it to save his own hide. Maybe they're lucky and Blink's a really good drawer... ...Is she really going to give Super Kamen Ranger up to these people? Wolves at the gate. Going to get that? |

You'll have to excuse Blink, she's not feeling herself lately. She's still mentally dealing with how everyone has been trying to pull her away from Emily. Not to mention she's only recently started to warm up from the cold. Despite her being inside by a fire for some time, she can still recall the bitterness as it attacked her arms. Not to mention the fact that she was brought here against her will in a manner she can't even recall. On top of that she's just a little bit drunk. Now comes the cherry, this mans story. His grievances. Blink's been taught to uphold an open mind but unable to contend with the alcohol now in her system she just begins to giggle. It starts up slowly, and then it begins to pick up. Perhaps wine wasn't the greatest of choices for this guest. Blink: Vous me voulez ... à vous dire ... ce que K-Kun ressemble? Et son nom? Lorsque tout ce que vous m'offrez en retour est le vin bon marché? You want me...to tell you...what K-Kun looks like? And his name? When all you offer me in return is cheap wine? There's a short little huff of a laugh that follows the beginning of a drunken rant. But she doesn't sound drunk, she doesn't even sound like she wants to pick a fight. She sounds...confident. It's a side of Blink not many ever get to see, even a close friend like Catherine has only ever seen Blink get this way a couple of times. Once was when Blink developed an ego, after winning a title she was clearly not prepared to hold, and again during her second reign when she pretty much told Catherine off. Now we see it again, though is it a real performance like the mentioned moments? Or a fake one when she tested Neo? Blink: Vous voulez que tous ce pouvoir ... vous avez tous ces trucs. Il me semble que vous pouvez me donner un peu plus. You want all this power...you have all this stuff. Seems to me like you can give me a little more. She's opening up lines of bargaining, does this mean she's going to do it? What does she want? What would she want? Emily has always told her to never look for material possessions, so...wait, why is she eyeing Amelia like that? There is a bit of a drunken attitude in the Bad Girl, but it shows only when she smiles. She's certainly become a different woman than she was moments ago when she was apologizing to the girl. Now it just looks like she's imagining the poor maid in a variety of poses. Blink goes to approach the maid but first plants her glass down on the table still with a little wine inside. Shaky steps, she makes her way over dropping a hand on the girls shoulder eyeing her up and down, and even taking a quick little sneak toward the back of her. Blink: Dites-vous ce que ... vous me donnez et votre servante ici quelques heures de temps seul dans ma chambre, puis, et seulement alors, je ne vais pas vous donner l'apparence et le nom de K-Kun, Tell you what...you give me and your maid here a couple hours of alone time in my chamber, then, and only then, I won't just give you the look and name of K-Kun, She turns her attention toward Chevalier, patting her hand against the maids shoulder a couple of times. Blink: Je vais le mettre dans une position où vous pouvez venir le chercher à l'endroit. Après tout, I'll put him to a position where you can pick him right up. Afterall, She pauses a moment to look the maid over once more and...is she taking in her scent now? Certainly looks that way and to make matters worse she unleashes a sigh that hits against Amelia's ear. Then she again turns toward the host and smiles while tilting her head to the side. Blink: Il est si confiante. He's so trusting. I think that's the most evil Blink has sounded, just right there. Speaking as though she has Kamen Ranger wrapped ever so snuggly against her little finger. When she says come, he asks “which kind?” |

There's an eyebrow raised in Blink's direction from her host when she giggles, and Amelia looks mildly concerned. The maid wonders if maybe their guest's had a little too much to drink and it's starting to go to her head now. The other possibility, the right one, is far too insulting to her master for her to originally consider that something Blink would do. Her master is less surprised, judging by their expressions, when Blink confirms that she's laughing at the story she's been told. Amelia frowns at the insult thrown her master's way but her master looks unfazed by it. It's true, to him, this wine is little more than the cheap stuff. For somebody like Amelia, or even Blink, it would take a great deal of their money to buy a bottle like this one. For him though it's little more than a fleeting thought, he's spent more money on toilet paper before than what he spent on this bottle. Either Blink's trying to be rude or she knows more about wine than watching her drink the stuff would lead one to believe. He is unimpressed when Blink decides she's going to try to get more out of him than what he's already offered. His maid looks just as unimpressed by it, horrified that Blink's trying to take advantage of her master's kindness. She knows he could've just as easily made this experience an unpleasant one for the pink haired girl. He could've forced the information out of her, an option he might still do, but instead he showed her a welcoming hand by treating her like royalty. That same lax expression on his face stays when Blink makes her intentions known, same can't be said for Amelia. Her body stiffens and her cheeks turn a cherry red shade, unable to believe what it is that Blink's suggesting to her master. It's bad enough that she's drawing her into the focus of the conversation, a position a maid should never be in to begin with. But she's literally asking for a trade of her for the information her master desires. She feels her skin crawling when Blink eyes her, unable to shake the feeling that she's staring at her. With each shaky footstep the Bad Girl takes, her heart is beating quicker & quicker in fear of what's about to happen if Blink gets her way. The maid's already pieced together what it is that she wants from her master, it's her, Amelia. Her advances earlier now don't seem so innocent and her shivers when Blink's hand lands on her shoulder, trying to stomach it. There it is, the proposal, and now Amelia's looking like she's about ready to explode her face is so red. Blink's really doing it, she's really demanding that her master give Blink her to do with what she likes for a few hours. It's sad; no guest has ever had her master in such a compromising position to leverage such a deal actually into existence. Some have tried before with other maids, it's true but never have they been successful or looking so likely to be successful. What she says next, it surprises her even more than the boldness Blink's showing by suggesting this deal. The way she talks about Super Kamen Ranger, this is someone that's important to her? It's possible she meant that in a very different way than how Amelia took it, very possible if she means what it is that's she saying. If she does...what a monster, to use somebody the way she's using him, she doesn't know him and already she feels bad for the man. Chevalier: No. It's with a single word that Amelia's relieved momentarily and shocked that her master's declined the offer. She watches him, seeing how torn he is that he's been denied access to this information and how badly it offends him Blink asked this of him. There's a small, sad, smile that finds it's way past the creepiness she's feeling from Blink and it helps warm her back up after that episode. Her master would so readily give up his chance for justice after the crimes that were committed against him for her. Chevalier: I'm sorry, I can't let you do that. I would gladly accept any other offer you would make but I can't honor that one. I'm sure my help hasn't told you but that is one of my definitive rules about my manor. The help is not to be bargained with or used to bargain, in any sense. It would be wrong of me to use her, a living person, like she's a commodity. I apologize for wasting your time. He sighs and he rubs the bridge of his nose before he speaks up again, clarifying his reasons. There's a small smile on his face when he looks over the pink haired girl and the maid, explaining the situation that takes place in his residence. It looks like he doesn't want to simply let this go but his hands are tied if that's what Blink wants out of this. What sort of man would do that to his help? As he's turning his back to them, he gestures that Blink's free to go and he apologizes for wasting her time. Amelia: [Wait, master, I'll do it.] The maid's barely aware of what she's doing before she moves away from Blink, taking a step forward to her master. She stares passionately at the back of his head, which is perking up when she says what she does, curious & baffled. Her eyes are showing a fiery determination, she means business, she means what's she saying to them. It's hard to believe, least for her, that her resolve is so strong. Amelia: [I have not worked here long, master, and most of the time I have I have seen you unhappy, sad, and depressed. The only times I've ever seen you smile is when you are reliving your past or you are talking about this plan. I hope you do not think me so bold or hate me for doing this but I want to be able to see you smile like that all the time. So I will gladly give myself up...if it means you are able to be happy.] This is at first mumbled a little, due to her nibbling on her bottom lip nervously over what she's saying. She knows the rules, she knows her master might not be happy that she's willing to agree or that she's talking so openly right now. But she's got to get something off her chest and she's got to let him know her reasons for agreeing to this. Truthfully, she doesn't want to do it, she knows she needs to do it for him though. Chevalier: ...Very well, if you're sure. The words barely have the chance to leave his mouth before Amelia's grabbed Blink's hand and she's pulling her to the hall. There's a tiny smirk that he has to hide for them, and he does successfully, when they're heading back the way they came. He knew, if he played it correctly, that Amelia would thrust herself into the situation for him, without him having to toss her into it himself. This allows him both the never dying loyalty of his maid & what he desires from that pink haired girl. What a hero he is. It's hard to say how well Blink is keeping up with Amelia's brisk pace though they make it back to the door from earlier easy enough. The maid opens it and she nearly shoves Blink back into the chambers she was in earlier, trying to make this quick. She hurries in behind her and she closes the door, and it's then that things become tense for her, the reality setting in that this is happening. Blink's really going to have her way with her for several hours, one can assume till she's happy. Chewing on her bottom lip again, she regrets being a virgin in times like these, having clung to a silly dream. That maybe someday her master would notice her, her in amongst the even more exceptionally beautiful maids & women he keeps as company. Her master would see her and fall madly in love, eventually leading the two of them to wed after agreeing to be with each other forever. Then...on their wedding night...he would... Gah, it's too much to handle, she's blushing again and she scurries over to the bed, standing in front of it. Her eyes glance around the chambers a few times, trying to take everything in and trying to decide what she's going to do. The logical answer is that she's going to wait till Blink gives her an order or starts taking action herself. The thought of doing this with Blink makes her sick to her stomach, unable to believe she thought so highly of this person before. Amelia: [Okay, I'm ready. Do as you wish.] The submissive statement is said while she closes her eyes, keeping them tightly shut on this scene. If she can help it, this is how she's going to go through with this entire thing for however long Blink's willing to force her to continue. She isn't sure if she could bear to look at that woman while she's doing this, too ashamed, too embarrassed and too disgusted. Course, she realizes if Blink orders her to open her eyes...there's nothing she can do. |
