The location is unknown though the subject of the piece isn't hard to piece together, considering he's sitting right there. The glowing eyes are the only source of light in the room, save for the monitors that he's brought in here when he constructed his own little war room. Much like the one before it, it's only make-shift and temporary, something to get him by for the time being while they're on the road. This once plain room has been turned into a jungle of wires and processors, and monitors like something out of a cyber punk movie.

What the masked man is watching shouldn't be any surprise to those that have been paying attention to what's coming. It's the Sunshine Crew, or the Blond Outlaws if you prefer, and it isn't just their promotional materials he's watching either. One screen's chalk full of that drunken elderly fun, another screen's featuring their matches from the past few weeks they've had. These are matches where they've been on something of a roll after such a lackluster beginning to their FIW careers.

It's interesting to him, interesting that suddenly these two dogs have found their way into title contention again. On the surface, it looks as if nothing's changed for the two men; they seem the same rabid mongrels they always have been. But there are subtle differences, minor tweaks to how they're acting outside the ring, how they're acting inside of it. These are what he's been studying for hours, these are what he's coming to understand, and these are what he believes have been the factors in their victories. What could potentially pose a problem for his team, should Kamen and he walk into the match expecting the same old games & tricks from them.

If things had been different, if they had been a little different, he could see himself somewhat liking this Takeshi Sunshine. He's a miserable human being, a mutt if he's ever saw one and yet he can't help but hear a kindred soul in some of his complaints. It isn't any secret that Skull detests the promotional material process and he'd much rather leave that business up to Kamen to handle in their everyday lives. He'd much rather focus all of his energy into the fight, into training for the fight, into studying & researching for the fight, the fight is what's important.

The talk before the fight?

Not so much.

Still, he isn't one for what ifs and what could have beens, so it's a very fleeting thought that passes from one side of his brain to the other. Skull has never been one to have time for flights of fantasy, facts are what he knows, science is what he knows, and math is what he knows. Anything can be broken down into a number; anything can be made into an equation and effectively dealt with once broken down. It's a matter of understanding and learning the proper properties for the equation, knowing what X means and knowing what Y is, and how they interact.

Alot of his time has been spent preparing for the Cibernetico, readying his troops as well as he can for what awaits them. But his eyes have never left the subject of the match they have earlier in the night; in fact, his preparations for the Cibernetico have helped him there. The Sunshine Crew is on the opposing team and so it gives him another excuse to study them & better understand the mechanics of their matches. For example, lately their matches have ended with a combination of the Blond Mist & the Sunshine Bomb that's gotten them victory.

Sunlight pierces this dark haven for the champion when the door to the room opens and Super Kamen Ranger walks into it. Not that Skull has to look to know who it is, there's only one person that knows of this place & would have access to get into it. Even if it somehow was someone else, he would've recognized the footsteps weren't Kamen's and he would've taken the proper actions against an intruder. Knowing that the boy is here for a reason, one he'll vocalize on his own time, Skull pays no attention to him, focusing on his work till Kamen demands otherwise.

Super Kamen Ranger's head is swimming with thoughts after his meeting with Blink and he's still got over a week before Violence Fetish. He isn't sure how he feels about Blink's decision to refuse to compete in the Cibernetico, finding himself rather conflicted on the subject. The champion is trying to be accepting of it and he's trying to respect her decision she's made as a grown adult but it's one of the most difficult things he's done. His fighter's pride is screaming at him to try to convince her, even now, to call her up and try to convince her otherwise over the phone. Knowing that if she does this and they're in the ring together when it happens, he's going to be offended by what she chooses to do.

Then there's the whole other bag of confliction he's got going on with Pytor Sadovsky's existence in the main event. The Russian Bear is a member of his team and until the potential outcome of their team eliminating the other team entirely, it's where he stays. They stay brothers in arms, comrades, allies, something that he takes very seriously and he's always tried to honor & respect. But...his goal in the match, his goal to break Blink, it's horrific and it's making his blood boil at the very thought of it. He doesn't want to...but if Pytor insists, he's going to potentially balance whatever advantage Blink's laying down is going to offer.

Best to take one's mind off the complicated stuff.

Best to focus on easier, simpler stuff.

It's why his eyes are drawn to the screens that Skull's watching, looking over the matches & promotional materials of the Sunshine Crew. They're simpler and easier stuff for Kamen to handle and for him to focus on, in a mental sense, not a physical sense. They've never been what he would call easy or simple to deal with inside the ring, they're real bruisers and on top of that they can cheat their butts off. It doesn't help that it seems like they've either gotten extremely lucky or have found a new strategy lately with the wins they've been racking up.

While Skull had been offended initially, the jump attack the two men pulled on them is still etched out in Kamen's mind. It's been smoldering in there for some time now, replaying over & over again, making him relive it each time like it's the first time they've done it. Everything about it is still fresh in his mind, the smells of their bodies after a hard fought battle & the stench of the Sunshine Crew's bodies. The sounds their bodies made as they attacked and the sounds the Sunshine Crew's bodies made as they connected with their targets. The looks in their eyes as they were trying to harm both of them, the two men they're now set to face on pay-per-view.

Kamen hasn't forgotten a single moment of it, keeping it alive so that he could use it to motivate himself for the training he's been doing for the match. He's been using it to motivate himself to be at his very best, to remind him why the Seigi Sentai must defeat these two villains. These so-called men who hate women wrestling, who are always drunk, and who show little respect for anything that's out there. These are the kind of men where he doesn't have to think about it, it's basic, they're evil and they must be stopped, and so the Seigi Sentai are going to do just that.

They aren't something new to either of them, Kamen knows that much, both in a personal sense and in a greater sense than that. Both have fought men like these Sunshine Crew, Blond Outlaws, whatever every single night that they go out patrolling wherever they are. There are always Takeshi Sunshines walking around the streets, trying to stir shit up by doing something that they soon regret when they see them. There is always some Mr. Blond wandering around, looking to break the law in some manner that's worth their attention & not leaving to the local authorities.

But the reason he's here isn't because of them.

SKR: Hey...do you know about what happened to Nats..erm...Blink a few weeks back, how she got kidnapped? If you do, do you know anything about that, like who did it, what they wanted?

When he decides to speak up, he grows silent for a moment, having to correct himself on what he calls her in front of Skull. Skull's been less than amused with him taking up the habit of calling her by her real name, and he seems even less so by this new nickname. He doesn't say anything about it though Kamen can tell, after being around the man for years he starts to get an understanding about him. There's usually a good chance he knows how the other masked man is feeling, and about that particular subject he doesn't like it.

He phrases his questions in a way that allows Skull the room to either confirm or deny his knowledge of what transpired. Kamen doesn't know for certain if he knows about it, it's just the way Blink had been talking, it makes him think Skull does. Rather than assume though he's being careful about it, giving him some information to fill him in if he has been in the dark this entire time about it. He knows that he didn't fill him in on it, fearing what he might say or do if he found out about what happened that night.

PS: No, I didn't and no, I don't.

The answer is brief and there's no telling sign that he's lying, it's the same cold & distant monotone voice as usual. He doesn't even look at Kamen when he answers; his glowing eyes are staying glued to the monitors with the Sunshine Crew on them. Again & again he watches them brutalize their opponents, a scenario that might be them on the receiving end of if they aren't careful. This next week of training is very important, very key to their success in both of their matches that are waiting for them at Violence Fetish.

SKR: Oh...okay, well, I'm going to go train. Big matches at Violence Fetish, ya know.

The Interstellar Insect's surprised by Skull's being unaware of what happened; it catches him completely off guard. He's so used to his partner knowing everything about everything, always having his ear to the ground, always being big brother to everybody. It's unusual to hear him say something like this, and it would be too for him to be so curt & uninterested in it...if they both didn't know the subject matter. When it comes to Summer Madison, Skull's wealth of knowledge has already been satisfied as far as he's concerned, he doesn't need her everyday life.

So he does the only thing he can, he lets Skull focus entirely back on what he's doing and lets him know what he's going to do. Kamen waits a second to see if he'll get any response from his partner, any advice on what he should be focusing on for their matches. When nothing comes, Kamen gives a small nod, deciding it's up to him to figure out what he wants to focus on to try to improve in the week he has left. With his business concluded here, he heads through the door, he is quick to close it behind him to cast his partner back into mostly darkness.

The tag team champion sighs when his partner leaves, placing a gloved hand over his exposed mouth & cupping it a little in a pondering gesture. So he's getting curious, it means one thing to him, it isn't long before Kamen starts digging for the answers he's looking for. That isn't something they need right now with everything else that's coming together in their lives, in their careers, some of which Kamen's brought upon them. This day had to come eventually but he always had been waiting for the right moment, the right time to tell him the truth about it all. He thought he had more time, he thought...he thought he could hold it off for at least a little while longer.

Look at him, sounding like an old man.

Still, there's something in him that chips at his composure, at the facade of calm & cold he's always displaying for the world. What he had to say to the boy just now to get him to leave, how it is making him feel, he's never felt this way before after lying to somebody. It's part of the job, to some extent, lying, he's lied numerous times to various people, even those he'd call allies, to continue whatever he had to do. Yet now he finds himself feeling guilty, feeling bad over lying to a man that's so trusting of him, a man that cares about him so much, a man that would do anything for him. The man he watched grow from a boy into one, an ally that's almost like a son to him.

The fight.

Don’t lose sight.

The fight is all that matters.

Don’t lose focus.

Focus on the fight.

It’s the only thing that remains in the end.
