The center of Amestris. You will always find something to do here, but it is also the home of the Military.

The eastern area of Amestris. It is a diverse area with farmland and desert. It borders the Great Desert and is the closest to Xing.

The northern area of Amestris. It's a cold wasteland filled with snow and very few people. It is bordered by the nation of Drachma.

The southern piece of Amestris. Made up of mostly plains-land, it is the border to the nation of Aerugo.

The west portion of Amestris. It runs the gambit from plains-land in the south to colder areas in the north. It borders the nation of Creta.

A larger country to the east of Amestris. It is very Asian in culture and much larger then Amestris. It also has its own type of alchemy known as Alkahestry.

A massive and unforgiving desert just to the east of Amestris. It lies between Amestris and Xin and holds many secrets.

The cold country to the north. Little is known but they have a bad relation with Amestris, have several wars over the past years.

The land to the west of Amestris. They have been in almost constant conflict with Amestris since the countries creation.

The land to the south of Amestris, this nation has had many border disputes with its neighbor.
