Laverna Laverna was headed to the Glass Court, when BAM! A rich girl with powder slammed into her. Lavena sighed, as the girl apologized. "No no, it's quite alright miss, these clothes are old, I don't need new ones." She said with a smile. "I apologize, but I must be off now!" And with that parting note, turned on her heel and left. Galen He saw Laverna get covered and powder, and despite his attempts, couldn't stifle his laughter. "Ahahahaaa~ Oh, are you two alright?" He asked the two. Laverna didn't respond, and left. "Ahh, I also apologize, I believe I should follow her and make sure that young miss is alright. Good bye~" He said with that happy go lucky face, chasing after her and catching up. "Heeeh~~? Storming the castle, are ya? Quite reckless, don't you think?" He teased. Laverna And Galen "Pfft, whatever Gale. Don't come if you don't want to." She told him. "Aww....now that is mean! Blowing off your precious assistant like that! You make me feel unnecessary!" He said with a pout. "Whatever." Laverna shrugged, ending the conversation. After a while, Laverna saw it. A Castle in the distance. "The Glass Court." She whispered. She removed her hat and pulled a cloak on, shading her face with the hood, and handed one to Galen. "Aaww! You got me one too!?" He said in delight. "No, I knew you'd follow me, so I came prepared." She said in irritation. "Now put it on!" she told him. Galen pulled the hood over his eyes, "I feel so sneaky." He whispered. They arrived at the gates, to find it heavily guarded. "We'll wait here and observe their guarding methods, see if there is a way in." She said. "So now we wait." Gale finished. Eli Huff! Huff! The young orange haired glasses boy sped out from nowhere tripping over every thing in his path eventually hiding behind one of the stakes of the main tent. "Huff. Huff... I think I may have lost them". He pushed the thin strands of hair out of his face, wiping away the much earned sweat from his forehead. Slowly but cautiously, the young lad rises up from his hiding spot as his eyes wander the un familiar enviroment. W-w-...WHERE AM I?!!? I know I couldnt've ran away THIS far. I-I don't even recognize-- He was then cut off by the epic flair of the humungus tent sitting behind him as he turned toward it. W-w-.....Th-.....It's a tent. Tents mean.... circus... Slowly falling back on his knees looking down to the ground, the dirty worn out looking boy then mumbled to himself What if they take me in and make me do all that weird crap THEY made me do?! I can't go back to that! All I want is to be appreciated and encouraged for my tricks rather than manipulated for fame and money! . Wiping off the stressful tears with his muddy hands he shouted aloud "What do I do!!". Edited by Momo-chama, Apr 25 2011, 03:29 AM.

Isabel A man clothed in the uniform of a butler came up behind her. "Young Mistress, are you alright?" Isabel watched Laverna and Galen for a moment, then turned towards the man. "Good afternoon, Legailius. I am quite fine. Just a little incident, I assure you. Perhaps I must have a change of clothes, though. Do you think there is time?" Bowing, the butler smiled. "Of course. Even the Masked Queen will have restraint for you, Lady Key. I have booked a room for us, so we may take a few hours to prepare ourselves for the Glass Court." "Excellent. You are wasted to be a butler of a lady of a minor family as I am. Well, then. Let us go!" One hour later~ "This is why I hate the city life. It's too much of a hassle, I must say." She picked at her new dress, even more gorgeous than the previous one. "They have such horrible style. To think that these embellishments are fashionable." "My lady," Legailius rebuked. "Think not of such things. You must hold onto to your cover. The Masked Queen and Mattis are not idiots. They will be sure to find out." Sighing, Isabel looked out the carriage window, watching the rushing scenery. "I know. But they are not the type to immediately kill me even if they find my identity. They are the cats that play with the mouse, torturing it, before finally releasing it of its misery. However," she said brightly, "I can't wait to find their library! I have heard they have many wonderful historical books there!" "Lady, we are there. This is the Glass Court, your home for the next few months." "Yes. Oh? What do we have here?" Isabel poked her head out the window, and saw Laverna and Galen. Oh my. This will be lovely, she thought. "Miss!" she yelled, waving her hand. "Would you like to come inside with us?" "My lady," warned Legailius, but she paid him no heed. "Come! They must not say that the Lebasi family is not courteous!" |

Laverna And Galen A young girl in a carriage waved at them, "Miss, would you like to come inside?" Laverna gritted her teeth. "Our damn cover has been blown! What kind of noble invites two hooded figures into their carriage?!" she whispered, annoyed greatly. Galen squinted his eyes, and leaned forward a bit. That girl....that's the girl from the marketplace who got powder all over Laverna! But....she reminds me of Isa....ISABEL! She's helping us get in! Galen put a hand on Laverna's shoulder. "I think that noble is actually Isabel." He whispered. Laverna's eyes widened. "She's helping us! We'll help her in return." Laverna said. "Sure! Thank you for the ride!" She said, and they hopped into the carriage. "Isabel, do you have spare clothes for Gale and I? We need a cover." She asked. |

Isabel "I'm sorry, my name is Key. Key Lebasi. I'm afraid you've mistaken me for someone else, yes? But I am glad that I get to pay back the favor from that incident! This is Legailius, my dear butler," she said, gesturing to him. "Can you tell me your names? Names are always very important, aren't them?" she smiled mysteriously. "Names can lead to the murder of someone in one night. Names are very powerful." I sincerely hope they get what I'm meaning. They shan't flaunt their names out in the Court. "Oh, and let me tell you about the Court a bit, yes? There is, of course, the Masked Queen, Leahlee, and her butler, Mattis. Leahlee is very nice, yes, but mysterious, I tell you! Take care around her, she is very...uh...protective of her little coven. And, one more thing. There are people everywhere. People have ears, and mouths. And eyes and hands. Make sure that they are safe from your little secrets." |

Laverna And Galen Clever girl, Isabel. Laverna thought, smirking. "Ah, I am sorry miss, you reminded me of someone I know. I apologize." She said. "Our names, hmm? My name is Griffith, and this is my friend Lysandra." Gale said, gesturing to Laverna. "We are servants of the Josephine family. We are merely running errands, but the guards refuse to allow admittance to us!" Laverna said, feigning sadness and confusion. "Perhaps if we had a change of clothes, they might let us in!" Gale said. "Miss....Key, would you happen to have spare clothes for Lysandra and I?" Galen asked. The carriage was drawing closer to the gates. Time was running out. Isabel "Oh my! How horrible!" gasped Isabel, surprise obvious on her face. "Legailius, I'm sure it'll be alright, yes?" "I'm sure it will be, my Lady," he murmured. A large smile broke out on her face. "Perfect! I'm sure the guards will understand!" She turned to Griffith and Lysandra. "You two can come along with us! The guards," she said, grinning evilly, "The guards won't even think of disobeying the Lebasi Family. You two are invited to the Glass Court as noble guests of Lady Key Lebasi!" As they neared the gates, the guards came near. "Who is coming to the gates of the Glass Court, demanding entrance?" asked a guard. The butler poked his head out. "It is Lady Key of the Legasi Family." The guards looked at each other. "I see. But there are two more in the carriage. Who are they?" Before Legailius could respond, Isabel's icy demanding voice sounded. "The Glass Court questions the loyalty of the Lebasi Family? Shall I consider this an act of war, perhaps? You do understand that we, the Legasi Family is quite endowed in riches and lands, yes? Shall I go on?" The guards scrambled, showing respect. "Of course not, Milady. We apologize. Please continue on." Nodding, Isabel smiled. "Please excuse my behavior, men. I was in a bit of a raging mood. Forgive me." With that, she went back into the carriage, the guards astonished. "My lady, you did not have to do that," said Legailius. Isabel waved that away. "Most nobles are cruel to the workers of the Glass Court. If I am to be an enemy of Leahlee, I shall want the support of the workers the most, rather than the nobles. The nobles are nothing but simple little statues, standing on a high tower supported by these people. And besides," she said, yawning, "I like being nice." |

Zane As they walked away from Valeria's tent, he could hear the boy break into sobs behind them. "Dammit. I hate this for the boy. First his mother, now Charles...Mind if I ask what those papers you gave him were?" Zane glanced at Piren and it didn't take a rocket scientist to know she was taking the whole ordeal hard as well, despite that fact she had always been a woman pretty damn good at concealing her emotions. It was almost like he could see a bit of guilt radiating from her. It had been her own weapon that had mutilated Charles' body after all. That piece of information made Zane shudder inside. But fact that it had been her spare weapon, he couldn't shake the thought that it had to be someone form the circus who had done this to Charles. Zane sighed before placing his hand on her shoulder. "Come on, buck up. We'll find the bastard who did this, torture him before mutilating his body as well, and feed his ass to Ceres,' he stated with certainty. "And don't worry yourself too much about Alek," he continued. "He's seems to have taken to Valeria like a kid right now but surprisingly, it seems she's doing her best to comfort him. I think she knows how much this has affected him." Zane rubbed the back of his neck, something he did quite a often when thinking. They had so much to do he couldn't even comprehend on where to start. He then thought back to what Wright suggested in the C&P house. " Wright's assigning someone to guard the two in case Alek's brother decides to attack either of them again while this is going on. We also need to send a two man team after his brother if all possible. Also, like you said, we should up security as soon as possible." The more Zane continued the think, the more he kept having that though nudge him in the back of the mind. There was no way that in the time Alek had let that someone stranger could have entered into the circus, stolen Piern's weapon so easily, and done this to Charles without being noticed. "...Also, I think we should question the circus members thoroughly. Everyone. See where they was and what they where doing, collect alibis and so on. Things...they just don't seem right. I hate to say this, but I have a feeling that it may have been one of the members. Everything seems to be pointing in that direction," he stated grimly with a sigh. |

Aria He was late and that, that was something unnacceptable. If anyone should know of Aria's impatience, it would be Asher. It was routine for him to "rescue" Aria from her dreadful studies, but today it didn't seem as if he was actually going to show up. She hated it when people tried her patience. She hated it even more when people tried her trust. Trust was key. (Though, it would be difficult for Aria to stop trusting Asher. He never actually misplaced her trust. Aria just liked to hyperbolize sometimes.) Aria wished she was a cat. Mostly because Seti, that stupid tiger of hers, was still asleep. Enjoying himself dreaming about chasing rabbits or something. She ought to learn how to switch bodies, just so she could avoid the droll tone of her tutor, going on and on about arithmetic. She hated arithmetic. If this had been history, Aria would have been gladly involved. If only she could switch bodies with Seti. The cat deserved to suffer for sleeping while she went through so much agony. And then, as if right on cue with her internal complaints, the boy wonder waltzed right on into the study room. Aria looked up, grateful, and then glanced to her tutor. His face had fallen, appalled by the idea of someone bursting in on his lesson. You'd think he'd be used to it by now, Aria thought. Asher's done this plenty of times, after all... Asher marched swiftly over to Aria, pulling her chair back, and addressing the interruption as a "mandatory kidnapping". She laughed, not caring whether the tutor heard. He'd soon be long out of her memory. Asher took Aria's hands and then pushed her through the doorway. She felt him grab her wrist and pull her along, away from the dreaded torment. It was funny, too, because it seemed that as soon as Asher had opened the door to Aria's study room, Seti had awoken. The cat yawned and strutted out behind the couple, taking his time - and growling a little at the tutor. He met Aria and Asher after they had slowed down, outside of the castle. "So?" Aria asked, looking to Asher expectantly. "When am I getting the surprise?" If he had thought she'd forgotten, he was sorely mistaken. Aria had a fantastic memory, one that only seemed to fail her when it came to numbers. And she had been waiting for this "surprise" of Asher's all week. "Unless you lied, of course," she continued. "And then I might have to have Seti kill you." As if on cue, yet again, the cat pounced playfully onto Asher, knocking the boy down onto the ground. The cat didn't actually kill the boy, but he did start licking his face. Then he stopped, deciding that Asher would make a good bed - which he of course did. Aria laughed, a bright glimmer in her eyes. |

Megumi Megumi smiled and petted the boy. "Are you sure you'll be alright alone?" She sighed softly. Maybe he wanted a moment alone. "Well...I'll go do my impersonating stuff. Just don't think too much while I'm gone, ok?' She moved to her tent and started her impersonation. She put on a wig, colored lenses and changed her clothes to copy the "I see you've gotten yourself a plaything." The tone, the attitude, even the look she had to wear had to look like Val's. She shrugged. Oh well, that should do... right? It's not like she really needed to use her for her show. That would do. Then, she moved out of her tent to meet up with Noctis. She coughed. "Noctis, what are you doing here?" she asked, hand on her hip. |
