Valeria She caught the paper midair and looked down at the name scribbled across it. Daemon. She looked back at him feeling annoyed by his answer to her second question. "Oh, it could be considered a crime when you attack and threaten people just to do so. And just to let you know, I'm not foolish enough to believe that after all you've done, you just simple want to see him," she told his as she let go of the paper, the wind quickly catching it and carrying it off. She then looked at him and smiled. "Knowing that, we'll just have to finish this fight early so you wont get the chance." She then lept at him, her blade extended forward aiming for his throat. She had to try and end this quickly, not only so she could try and get rid of this guy before Alek got there, but also so she wouldn't get hit by anemia before the fight ended. She was already beginning to feel it and that wasn't a good sign. |

Camille This man is quite a talker, isn't he? She thought, in response to Rickett's droning. "Uh... oh! Sorry, I don't always watch the shows and I've never seen anyone make you a costume..." She hesitated, thinking of the fabric she made, "But... uh... if you want, as a gift or something, I just made a nice fabric that looks so pretty..." She hoped this offer would be taken to make up for her own slip-up. "And as for the costume department... Well..." She looked down, "I never see Alek anymore, and he spends all his time on custom things for that girl, Valeria..." Her voice trailed off. "But really," she concluded, "Unless your costume was made by me... And I don't recall that, this fabric is probably better. And besides," she gave him a smile, "I can't add new patches to my clothes, anyway." She dusted off the clothing that she had made for herself from the scraps of fabric from other costumes, and pointed out a few holes in her outfit, as if this was what he meant by "plain clothing". |

Daemon He ducked, but not quick enough as he recieved a slash on his cheek. Damn he thought quickly jumping back before he took any more damage. There was her to worry about and also that stupid wanna be clown. Could this day get any more annoying? He wiped the blood off his face. "Okay this is annoying so how about I play with both of you while my brother takes his sweet damn time, getting his ass here" he said to them waiting for their first moves. |

Valeria "Whats wrong, upset that I scared your precious noble face?" she asked tauntingly. "Besides, who cares if Alek shows or not? I think you have your hands full as it is. I don't think you'll be seeing him tonight." At least that's what she hoped. She didn't want Alek to show for two two simple reasons. The first was she didn't want him to see his brother and go off like a loose cannon. She knew how much he resented his father and his family for Anastasia's death. The second was after their fight, she really didn't feel like seeing him, despite the fact he was probably sill pissed at her. She was sill pretty mad at him herself. Heck, some part of her wouldn't be surprised if he didn't come just to spite her. What she had said had really upset him, that much she could tell. She resented herself for it a bit. She knew how delicate a topic that was yet she had let her anger get the best of her. But it wouldn't do her much good thinking about it now, that was for sure. Looking at the smeared blood on his cheek, she grinned. She hadn't been able to injure him as much as he had her, but the cut was a start. She was finally getting used to his movements and not a moment too soon. She was already starting to feel light headed. The fight was dragging out too long and if she lost consciousness from such a simple wound before the fight was over, she'd never forgive herself. However, the was always the question if she would even be alive afterward to do so. She glanced over to the side at Conrad. She was surprised Daemon had decided to take them on both at once. She had managed to cut him herself alone, so maybe they both of them could bring him down. However, Conrad was as unpredictably as the weather so there was no telling what he would do. Raising up her blade once more, she swing at him. She meant it mealy as a distraction as she followed up with an upward punch toward his abdomen with her left hand, the hidden blade expended. |

Daemon He blocked both her hands with the flat side of the chain. As soon as the attack connected he heard metal against metal. "what a sneky little lady" he said running towards her while keeping his eye on the wanna be clown. This was getting nowhere. Well not the way he wanted it to go. If only that clown hadn't interrupted. He was getting annoyed to the point where he just wanted to miam someone just to relieve his anger. "WHERE ARE YOU ALEK? YOU"D BETTER COME OR I SWEAR I WILL KILL YOUR GIRLFRIEND AND THIS WANNA BE CLOWN" he shouted wondering if his brother could even hear him. "Let's finish this quickly you little circus brats" he said using the tiles to his advantage. [Ablib Daemon using tiles or w/e please] |

Conrad the Clown "You?" Conrad burst into laughter. "You'd kill me? What do I have to fear from you? A rank amateur. An errand boy as obsessed with his brother as his brother is with his dead mummy. Still, I like you. What you lack in brains you make up in heart! And speaking of hearts, I'll be tearing out yours." He lifted the gun again, the "Bang" flag still hanging out- and fired once more. Revealing it was actually a harpoon gun, now launching the razor sharp flag towards Daemon. |

Alek He sat there, shuddering with rage. Across the room, blankets shuffled, and Charles shuffled awake. He slowly and painfully sat up. Alek got up from his position on the floor and rushed to help his Master. As he neared, Charles noticed his red face and ragged, grass-strained appearance. Alek was a perfectionist and a neat freak. Something was wrong, that was for damn sure. "Alek, what the devil just happened?" the old man gasped. "Nothing." "Alek," he pressed. "IT'S NOTHING... It's nothing," he said, audibly sniffling now. The old man frowned. This was bad, very bad. Alek always was an emotional boy, but his mood swings had become so much more frequent since his mother's death. It'd been a while since Charles had last seen Alek cry, however. But, again, Alek was stubborn. If he insisted that nothing was wrong, he was going to maintain that insistence. Not much was going to change his mind now. Charles grunted. "Well then, ok. Nothing happened. Why don't you go wash your face, though. You're all muddy and... snotty. A tailor must always look impeccable, remember?" Charles reached up and removed Alek's tie and unbuttoned his jacket. Alek nodded. "Off you go now," Charles said, sending Alek stumbling towards the bathroom, but not before he ruffled his hair. He was in the process of fixing his hair when he hear a series of loud knocks on his door and a small voice yell out, "Alek!!! Alek, you have to help Val. There's someone attacking her." Noctis. Everyone's favorite little brother figure. Not today, though. Today, Alek was angry. "NO! Go away, Noctis," he yelled back. Charles's frown deepened. "BUT SHE'S IN DANGER, ALEK! YOU NEED TO HELP HER!" "No, no I don't." "BUT...." here Noctis trailed off. Alek threw his tie and jacket into the dirty clothes hamper. "IT'S YOUR BROTHER. HE SAYS HE'S YOUR BROTHER." Alek froze. Charles stood up. Step by painful step, he made his way to Alek. "Go, boy. If it is Daemon, you need to help her." Alek shook his head, his tears returning. "NO, NO, NO." "Alek, GO!" He gave his apprentice a weak shove. Charles was right. If it was his brother, then Valeria would need his help. Daemon was a psychopath. Everyone in his family was. Valeria wouldn't know what she was fully dealing with. Making up his mind, Alek grabbed his two weapons and ran out of the room. "Noctis, let's go!" Charles watched as the two boys ran towards town, and then he collapsed. "You better win, Alek-boy," he said with his last, shuddering breath. Then he closed his eyes and was no more. Charles Alair died that night, the stress of worrying about Alek finally ending his life. |

Noctis and Daemon Noctis and Alek quickly made their way to the building where they were at. "This way Alek" he urged taking the shortcuts before climbing hastily up the building. He saw Daemon knock Conrad's harpoon and advance towards Valeria. "Big sister Val!" he shouted loudly as Daemon was about to injure her again. Daemon turned and saw that brat again along with his brother Alek. He jumped backwards to gain a little distance from them and the broke into a smile. "Alek. How long has it been since I've seen you brother? Your girlfriend's injured so if I were you I'd hurry up and get her treated. I also have a message for you. I'm, or rather we're, here to ruin your life Alek." he said with a playful smirk before vanishing with the wind. Noctis stared a bit in awe before telling everyone what they already knew. "He's gone." |

Conrad the Clown "Well, that was dull," Conrad said. "I didn't even get to melt his face off! Shame." He walked over to where the flag-harpoon had fallen, picking it up and loading it back into his gun. "What an interesting tale of twists and turns this evening has taken, wouldn't you say, Batsy?" He said, patting her on the shoulder. He quickly turned to Alek. "Clean hands, remember?" The boy was clearly pissed and Conrad was almost interested to see whether he'd try and take it out on him. "Shame you missed the big show, Georgie," said Conrad, walking away from the three of them. "Well, I think I'll just be going. Ladies and gentlemen, there will be no encore tonight." |

Valeria Valeria' s attack was all but blocked by Daemon. Too make matters worse, her vision was blurring. She stumbled backwards from the force of his black and watched as he easily avoided Conrad's attack. She had already lost too much blood and was now on the verge or merely fighting to stand. "All this trouble from such a stupid cut" she said with a laugh. Daemon was now advancing on her, redying his next attack. As he pulled his chain scythe back preparing to launch it forward, she head an all to familiar voice. "Noctics! I told you to run! Why did you come back?!" she shouted. However, her eyes soon moved to the figure standing next to him. Alek. Valeria watched on as Daemon smirked and relayed his message. She knew Noctis had told Alek that it was his brother. That's why he had come. She cursed silently under her breath. However, after telling Alek what he wanted him to know, Daemon simply left. Silence filled the air as they stood taking in what just happened. Conrad was the first to break the silence. She ignored his question and just watched as he walked off. Now it was only Noctis, Alek and herself. She looked at Noctics a bit angrily. "I thought I told you to run, not come back. What do you think could have happened if he hadn't of left?" Valeria then turned her eyes towards Alek questionably. "...You shouldn't have come. I would have been fine on my own, you know." She knew how much Alek hated his family; the family that had taken his mother away from him. So she had a feeling that one of the last people he wanted to see was his brother. Even if her words sounded harsh, it was only because as a friend, she didn't want to see him suffer anymore than he already had. She didn't speak anymore about the matter though. She simply said "Let's head back to the circus" and took a step forward. However, it was at that moment her body gave in to the blood loss and she collapse on the rooftop. She felt as if the world was spinning as she struggled to push herself up onto her hands and knees. Was she really this weak, this pathetic? To be brought to this sate by a guy like Dameon. "Dammit," she mumbled as she clenched her fists. |
