Calista and Piare Ceres They stood outside the gates of the Shelter, examining it carefully. "This is it, Pia. Our new home." The tiny girl clutched the woman's arm. "Home? Really, Caly? Can we stay here forever?" she whispered. Smiling, Calista took Piare's hand and brought her out before her. "Of course. Welcome to the Shelter, Pia. Let's go to see Lady Claire, yes?" As they started to walk inside, Pia asked, ".....Is Lady Claire scary?" Chuckling, Calista said, "You'll see." |

Gabrielle "Nothing really. I've been walking around here and I think that is all" She said trying to remember how her morning went. To Gabrielle, Sven was weird. She had always thought that people with wings only appeared in books or were statues. But Sven was still weird. His appearance was weird, his personallity was weird too. He was only weird However they say weird people made everything interesting. I wonder if something interesting might happen to this shelter filled of boredom She thought. "Well I now ask you the same question. What have you been up to?" She asked.... Lady Claire "Well, it's nice to see you Michael" Said the womqn with the same grin. "Aww Miss Alethea got lost? That's not good!" Her office seemed now a circus, for such small room, there were enough people in there" Lady Claire felt her dress was being tugged, she looked down and saw Alethea with her teddy bear. "H-Hungry..T-Tummy is Hungry" Said the little red-head. "Oh, you are hungry my dear? Well let's go have breakfast then!" Said the woman trying to reach the kid's size. "If you want to, you can follow me Miss Etoile. Oh! I almost forget! Here are the instructions to find your room" She said as she got a paper with the instructions. "Well, see you later" She said, taking Alethea's hand and walking to the dining room.. ((Be happy, I posted, before class xD)) |

Colette Victors Even Colette's walking was done elegantly, ever the picture of perfect posture and poise. She'd left her rooms behind and happened to pass by the foyer when she spotted two people- a woman and a girl- and neither she recognised. She'd heard about a couple of new teachers, but only one had a sister who would also be joining the children. "I take it you are Miss Ceres?" Colette said as she reached the two, her voice having a stern, formal tone to it- after all, it was the voice she often addressed the children with. |

Alethea Alethea walked with Lady Claire out of her office. As she traveled out the office, Alethea felt an unfamiliar presence. She looked over her shoulder out of curiosity. A man? Her eyes came across a blonde, strong-looking man who seemed to be spieing on someone in Lady Claire's office. She stared deep into his eyes reaching the soul revealing his emotions. The man is... afraid? Of what? Not wanting to butt into the stranger's life, Alethea turned her head back around to Lady Claire ignoring the situation and going back to her own. Muffins sound yummy! |

Luke Sven "This and that and that and this." He answered, in a way laying off the question, as if when being asked to him, it didn't matter in the least. "But, I can tell that whatever deeds I've done in the past couple of days, it's much more important than what you have." He snorted, making fun of her. "I was hoping you could come up with something smarter than the same old question I just asked you. But, what can I expect? From you, even more. It's been a little boring around here. Of course, it's never quite that boring because of our.....differences from the rest of England. Who knows about the rest of the world? We're gotten to an age where we are too old to play games. But, some of the children here are interesting, correct? Maybe we'll get some new ones, I think I remember someone mentioning it. I hope he is our age. Oh, I forgot to say, I hope he is a boy. I don't think I can stand being around so many women. Oh well, what am I getting my hopes up on?" He finished, but it took him a very short time to say this, because he spoke so quickly, he stumbled over his words a little. |

Calista and Piare Ceres "I take it you are Miss Ceres?" Startled, Piare quickly hid behind Calista once again, hiding her face. "Indeed, I am. And you must be Ms. Victors, yes? I've heard much about you from Lady Claire." Calista patted Piare's head and pushed her towards Colette. "This is my dear little sister, Piare. She's extremely shy, please take good care of her." Whispering, Calista bent down to Piare's ear, "Pia, introduce yourself. Ms. Victors is going to be your new English Literature teacher." Staring at the ground, Piare managed to stutter, "N-nice to meet you, M-ms. Victors. P-please take good care of me this year." Calista patted Piare again, this time smiling. "Very good, Pia." To Colette, she said, "Please take good care of me, also, Ms. Victors, since we are to be teachers together, yes?" |

Lucian Rochester Navigating the halls of the orphanage brought Lucian... just about to where he started. He never had much of a good directional sense. "GAH! That was a waste of time." He yelled to the empty halls, and continued walking wherever his body wanted to take him. Until the uneven floors of the building caught up to him, that is. He was randomly walking around, until he heard a male voice, probably about his age, talking about having new orphans in the place. Like him. Lucian tripped over a floorboard that was slightly higher than the rest, and landed facefirst into the ground, directly in front of a boy and a girl, names he didn't know, as he was one of those new kids. On the ground, he looked up and grinned. "Oh. Hi there." Edited by Gaar Bear, May 2 2011, 07:49 PM.

Gabrielle "Well sorry for being good, Mister Bad Boy!" She said in reply to his sort of joke. Gabrielle listened to Sven, trying to understand and find sense in what he said. "Now, speak slowly! No one is rushing you yet" She said giggling. "Well indeed, I wonder how things are going on out there, I would like to see London again." She sighed and then continued: "But we are here, We should ask the headmistress about that, otherwise, we could end up living here until the very end...Now that I think of it, I saw Lady Claire a bit suspicious earlier today, something really interesting must be going on" She sajd as she bit the tip of her thumb. "Don't you agree?" She asked the boy with a grin. ((This post is right, Bear's character will talk to other girl and boy)) Lady Claire Lady Claire had noticed Lucas, yet she pretended she didn't. The woman had arrived to the dining room. Once there, she took a muffin from the table and gave it to the little red-head, patting her head. "There you go! Enjoy it" She said grinning. Lady Claire walked to the window and saw the open front door, she might close it later. She heard voices from the hallways, Ms. Victor's voice and someone that sounded like the new teacher, Ms.Ceres, she decided to find them. "Hello? Miss Ceres and Little Piare right?" She said grinning once she found them. "Good Morning, I'm Lady Claire, the headmistress" The woman added with still the grin painted on her face... Edited by Bri, May 3 2011, 04:32 PM.

Pan She tumbled out of the chimney she had shimmied up, covered from head to toe in thick soot. Lady Claire should be ashamed that she let her chimneys be so absolutely disgusting. Now, had Pan been a helpful soul she would have cleaned them while she was inspecting them, but alas, Pan was just bored and rooting around wherever she could. Despite being sixteen, Pan was still highly immature and self absorbed, but then again, most sixteen year olds were- so that didn't much matter either, did it? Pan pulled off her cap and shook it out, disregarding the fact she was shaking soot everywhere- in fact- she was running a contest to see how fast she could have this place covered in soot from top to bottom. She shook out her short cropped hair, the red hue looking striking against the grimy, dirty clothes she wore. She had essays to write, reading of some god awful long story to do, but as she happily plodded out of the small room, all Pan was concerned about was slumping her shoulders and in general looking as much like the dejected mud rat she was. "Ha thar." She greeted a few kids as they walked past- but that uneducated voice of hers fooled no one. For those poor teachers stuck with her, they knew Pan was much, much smarter than she let on, and that her essays could induce headaches in even the most weathered of the teaching veterans. Not to mention they were always a week late and so god awfully long that most teachers skipped half of the rambling paragraphs that Pan seemed to specialize in.They also knew that arguing with her was useless, all that flared up was a debate- and Pan loved those more than any other sort of past time, really- and since Pan's arguments were based on sheer passion and intense distaste, getting that obstinate pain in their asses to see things their way was like saying Pan couldn't bend light. At that,Pan turned the corner and say Collete and Lady Clarie walking down the hall. Perfect. Opportunity. Pan gave a sprint and a flying hug to Pan Enemy Number 1: Collete . And naturally, that resulted in a cloud of soot covering the both of them "Ms. Victors!" She squealed, as though the two were bosom pals, "I do hope you'll love my next essay!" She smiled widely at the woman, both knowing they despised each other as much as a cat and dog, but Lady Claire was watching so getting along right now was the only option. God, sometimes Pan just wanted to stop and pat herself on the back sometimes. "Currently I'm on my seventeenth page of it. Hamlet was interesting but I unfortunately lack respect for each and every female character. It's a pity Ophelia fell for such a brilliantly deranged lunatic. By the by, Fortinbras really takes the art of procrastination to a whole new level, doesn't he? I really love him, he might be my role model, I'm not so sure, maybe the Ghost of Hamlet's father? He was pretty nifty. Well, anyways, it was much better than the one we read last week. Romeo and Juliet were wholly detestable and unlikeable. What sort of freakish people actually like that crap? Well, I thought it was hilarious, but I mean like it and emphasize with the characters?" Pan was running her mouth a mile a minute. Just as suddenly she turned to Lady Claire. "Sorry I'm getting soot all over the place, I'm just checkin' the chimneys, and boy oh boy are they in need of sweepin'. If you want I can do it myself, but I have to check out the rest of 'em. Aren't you just so lucky you got a chimney sweep in here?" |

Colette Victors Colette stood frozen, a fake smile stretched across her face, almost completely unaware of the world around her, Pan's words sounding garbled as though her head was held underwater. Her face, her skin above her neckline, her dress- all sullied with filthy soot. Slowly, she began to shake, unnoticed by the others who were still paying attention to Pan. It was then Pan's words finally registered in her head and her soft hands curled into fists. And to top it all off, her eyes flashed red with her heat vision. Calm down, Colette. Lady Claire is right in front of you. And a new teacher. And a new student, she reminded herself. She gave one of her fake laughs before reaching for Pan, squeezing her shoulders. To the others, it looked like a friendly gesture. In truth, her fingers were digging into Pan's shoulders. "Oh, you are quite the little explorer, aren't you Pan?" Colette said, in her most charming and yet condescending voice, something she knew Pan hated. "But look at you, all covered in soot in front of our newest teacher and student! I'm afraid we'll have to save full introductions for later, Miss Ceres. Lady Claire, if you don't mind, I'll just take young Pan here for a quick wash and to get changed into some clean clothes. Myself as well." She gave another fake laugh. Pan seemed to have figured out what she meant by those "clean clothes" judging by her sudden worried look. It was childish to engage in revenge with this brat, but Colette did not allow herself to get beaten by children. And step 1 of her revenge would be to force the little tomboy to wear a dress for once, as though she was a girl with some class. |
