Don’t give up at half-time. Concentrate on winning the second half. --Paul Bear Bryant How you respond to the challenge in the second half will determine what you become after the game, whether you are a winner or a loser. --Lou Holtz | |

I tend to the think that the winner of this game could win the AFC West. |

Remember, Denver is the best in the league with home openers. |

This was a game of patterns as one could imagine when involving these two teams. I forgot that besides the above mentioned one, the Raiders almost always beat the Broncos in Denver. But this was only Denver's fourth loss all time in a home opener. I think Oakland is in control of the division for now, especially if they extend their streak of eight consecutive division wins. |

The great Sebastian Janikowski kicked a record 63 yard field goal. Champ Bailey was injured and is getting an MRI today. Dumervil was also limited. The Raiders rode on the back of their running game with Campbell only getting 105 yards on 13 completions. On the other hand Denver's rushing is still dead with only 13 attempts for 38 yards for the whole team. Orton had 46 attempts and Denver only had one offensive touchdown. Orton was regularly booed and assaulted with chants for Tebow. He must be getting tired of that. |

So, are the Broncos better now because they didn't lose 59-17 this time? |

But this is the kind of stuff that makes me wonder if they have a point. The dumbest fumble I've ever seen ![]() http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d82231d76/Crucial-fumble-by-Orton |
