I just hope the views are people who listen to the music, at least then I know that my era is being passed on to the younger people on here, and that they know that we wernt all idiots, and that we appreciated good music, and we were the fore runners of the, maybe not so good follow ons., ah well times and fashions change, but I dont think my time will ever be bettered   -dance-

Aitch, when I was a singer many years ago, the music that Gordon and I played from the 50s and 60s was very much appeciated by the younger generation. They loved it. In one particular place some teenagers asked us for rock and roll and I told them that we only did 50s/60s stuff and they said yeah, that's what we mean! The night could have gone bad for us because they were all youngsters, but it turned out to be a brilliant night.

Im just glad that people are listening to my kind of music Mollie, I will keep on with this post as long as folk listen, its not doing me any harm either, did you ever record anything when you were singing with Gordon ?, I have a very good friend who was a member of a group, firstly called tin colony, then changed the name to colony, they played quite a lot in the Scandinavian countries, but sadly never made it over here, that's not to say they all fell by the way, a couple of them went on to better things, but that's another story,
any road, its mi bedtime, hope you are well and I will send you a e-mail later .

Look forward to your email me owd pal. Yes, we did record our work, but not in a studio, just at home. We also had a video done but for the life of me I can't find it, and I'm desperate to find it now. Keep going with this thread Aitch because I am absolutely loving it.

Aitch has put an awful lot of work into this thread without much feed-back, going back from 50s music and working up to the present, but we're still on 60s music. I've listened to every track he's put on here as it brings back memories for me from being a child and a teenager. The Jacksons didn't appear until the 70s though, but I hope you've enoyed listening to the music so far.

I know, and that's brilliant. It's good that young folk listen to the old stuff because they'll then see how music progressed into different forms and tastes in music.

music time again, the 5 for today consist of number 156, 3 weeks for our billy

the fab 4 with this is next, 4 weeks for this, I think its one of their best, its certainly the one I remember most.

this next one, was the British number one for 3 weeks from the 8th Oct 1963

And then the Anfield anthem, this was the top for 4 weeks Oct 29th

and then once more for the fab four, this was the top for 5 weeks from Dec 10th Number 160 from me, enjoy.

they certainly pumped the records out in those days
