You're so right, Pam. When you listen to the radio and hear the junk that's being churned out these days, it makes you wonder what sort of people buy modern music. Don't get me wrong. A lot of it is excellent stuff, but compared to back then, there was more good music with meaningful lyrics than there is with a lot of music today. Reet, next 3, first for 1 week Jan 4th 1955 was this un 28th number 1, Jan 11th 1955 for 1 week was this last for today, the 29th British number 1 was this. feb 15th for 3 weeks thats all for now folks, hope you are enjoying them. :popcorn: :nod: |

todays mixture, March 8th 1955 for 7 weeks the 31st top spot was taken by this one, april 26th for 2 weeks, can you imagine todays youngsters putting this in the number one spot this was one of my fav singers, was the top for 2 weeks may 10th 1955 knackered now, Ive just painted mi bedroom ceiling, and I have come to the conclusion that decorating is a young mans pursuit :angel: :whistle: Edited by aitch, Feb 3 2011, 03:57 PM.
