It must be awful to have such a confrontational neighbour. Luckily I've never been in that situation so I hope she lays off. Ask her if she can spare a few mushrooms for yer brekkie. :snicker:

she goes to ground in the winter, so will be coming out of her lair anytime soon :roll:

the council law here is 1 metre at the front.
at the sidesor inbetween houses 1 metre up to 2 metres graduated. at the backs up to 10 foot.

they do send you letters if you let your garden get out of control or untidy

before we bought the property the people on the other side had fence panels and we wanted trees both, and asked the council it we could take the panels down, the other people were happy for us to plant trees

But we bought th house before they had to agree, so it didnt matter the trees were the same hight then on the other side and the guy from the council who came before we bought the house never said a word about the trees onthe other side
