Now then. Doctors don't always have the answer. I wish something like that would cure my left leg problem, but I know it can't. I can be in agony with mine but, having sat down and rested for 10 minutes, it's fine again. :) Problem for me is I can quite happily trot around at work for three hours on the flat but, if for instance I use a vacuum cleaner or anything where I have to use extra force, my leg becomes like jelly and I have to stop. :( |

that sounds very odd Molllie, mine started as you know, 4 year ago, when my left leg just gave way with a sharp pain and buckled under for no reason, it happened mostly when i went upstairs or got into the car as time went by my leg got worse, i did go to the doc, the same one who gave me the morphine patches, he examined me and said it was a soft tissue problem from a fall i had about 4 years before so who knows he may have been right if i sit now i have not pain, i now have now pain turning in my sleep, so at the end of the day time will tell. |

Well, I first noticed this in my leg many years ago when I'd been dancing. Gordon and I used to love dancing, especially rock and roll and it got to the point when I was limping off the dance floor back to our table. I just put it down to wear and tear or owd age, but the other leg is just as old and no problems in that one! :E I used to love to go walking, but I can't these days. I'm not too bad on the flat, but uphill is a struggle as the pain becomes excrutiating. :(( |

I used to regularly walk into town from where I work, which isn't a vast distance, about a mile or so, but I can't do that now. It only acts up if I'm walking uphill, as I said, or using force as I've already explained. If I had the pain all the time I'd use the electric heat pad that I've got. Guess I'll just have to put up and shut up. :D |

I have a lot of problems with my left leg. It give me pain and aches, this has been going on for years. Sometimes I cannot get to sleep because it aching. The cold seems to cause it. Bones sore to the touch at times. I can be walking, and all of a sudden my leg gives way. I end up limping. Then as quick as it happen'd it ok again. I have just learned to live with it. |

Mine only plagues me through use and it never bothers me at all when I'm sitting or sleeping. It doesn't bother me walking around the house, not even going upstairs but, if I forget something and have to go straight back upstairs again, that's when it bothers me. It's as if some unseen hands grasp me around the calf and squeeze. This has been bothering me for years as well now. |
