Another load of money waisted doing research. This time it's saying, men over 6 feet are less likely to have an Heart problems. A greater distance between certain points in their arteries, and heart. Make for less strain on the heart. My son is 6ft 7", So according to them he should never have a heart attack. Hope they are right. He has a bad back all the time due to his height. Plus finds it hard to get clothes to fit him. O.O So being to tall is not all that good. :( |

My father was over 6' and he died at the age of 50 from a heart attack. I don't believe any of these statistics they throw around. I can sympathise with your son's back problems blue. I've had the same problem for years. I'm not 6'7" but I am above average height at 5'9" and everything seems to be designed for people a lot shorter than me, especially in kitchens and food preparation areas. I worked in catering for a few years and that's when all my trouble began. I had to stoop slightly to do most jobs and that starts to have an effect after a while. Even domestic kitchens, cookers, etc. are all a standard height and I could do with them being a couple of inches higher. I must say though, that the fashion industry has finally realised that there are a lot of women out there with longer legs than 29" so buying trousers has become a lot easier in recent years. |

Their are lots of tall people out their. The generations are getting taller. But the shops don't seem to be catching on to the problems, that tall people have in finding clothes to fit. :wall: He needs a 36" inside leg. Most shirts, jumpers, T shirts and jackets are not long enough in length and the arm lengths. Some shops have got better, but not much choice. |
