Pesetas are back in the Spanish town of Villamayor de Santiago. Spain never gave a deadline for the pesetas. So people have been paying for items in the 30 shops in the town with pesetas. It looks like the Spanish are as fed up with the Euro as the Greeks are. They have been told by the EU to make more cuts, even though unemployment is at it's highest. Credit agency have downgraded Spain two notches to A3. I for one do not understand how some credit company, can downgraded a country and make everything worse for them. Who gives them the power to do this? |
