21st Declan is still determined to go ahead with the festival. As Nicola angles for a job organising it, Declan enjoys playing her and Charity against each other. Later, Charity and Nicola are dumbstruck when Declan introduces them to Megan, his new festival manager - neglecting to mention that she is his half-sister. As the day continues, Megan and Declan bicker about whether she'll join forces with him. When Katie interrupts, Megan is dismissive - assuming that Katie is staff. Megan is surprised to learn that Katie is his girlfriend, while Katie is put out that she didn't know he had a half-sister. Meanwhile, Debbie sees a glimmer of hope for her and Cameron, but is stressed when he lays down his rules about keeping Andy away. Debbie tells Cameron that she'll do whatever he wants as long as he stands by her. Later, Debbie visits Andy to explain Cameron's rules - they are to stay away from each other as Cameron doesn't want him near. Finally, Debbie is relieved when Cameron agrees to stay as long as her lies stop. Elsewhere, Ashley talks to the Bartons about the funeral, while Nikhil's rigid fitness routines mean Gennie feels neglected 22nd Katie asks Jai about Megan's background, so Jai warily explains that she once had a deal with Declan that went very wrong. At the same time, Declan explains to Megan that he really needs her on board with the festival and wants her skills to get the Bartons back on side. However, Megan is not sure, leaving Declan frustrated. Over a tense lunch, Declan gets the impression that Megan won't be taking the job. Later, while alone with Megan, Katie stands her ground when Megan has a dig and the pair face off. In the end, Katie and Declan are surprised when Megan announces that she will go and see the Bartons, but as Declan opens the champagne, Katie is left wondering what she has to put up with. Meanwhile, Zak seems disinterested when Lisa reminds him about going to the Bartons. He heads up to Butlers and attempts to help fix a fence post, but feels helpless around them - unable to offer comfort or support. Elsewhere, Gennie starts to worry about Nikhil's obsession with exercise, Ashley continues to be frustrated with Sandy, while Andy makes it clear to Cameron that he'll stay away from Debbie but will be there for Sarah 23rd Lisa expresses her worries about Zak to Sam, explaining that he didn't come to bed last night and she can't find him. She does her best to hide her concerns from Belle, but is later forced to admit to Belle that she doesn't know where Zak is. Later, the Dingles are surprised when Jimmy calls round and tells them that he saw Zak's van abandoned in town, and he agrees to take them to it. However, Lisa is desperately worried when there's still no sign of Zak. Meanwhile, Cameron is wound up at Sarah's party when Andy arrives. Cameron warns him to leave, and Andy's gutted when Debbie confirms he should go. Later, Debbie apologises to Andy and covers to Cameron that she's worried about Zak. Elsewhere, Gennie is thrown when Nikhil suggests he's going to train for a marathon, Adam is left with food for thought when Megan suggests renting out the fields for the festival, Ashley warns Laurel that she can't keep pandering to Sandy, while Megan makes an impression in the pub and Carl takes a shine to her part 2 Lisa is about to call the police over Zak's disappearance when he strolls in, leaving her and Sam stunned. Lisa wants to know where he's been, but Zak is uneasy as he can't remember and tries to cover. Lisa is astounded by his attitude and frustrated by his lack of answers, while he feels guilty for upsetting his family. Later, Lisa is more frustrated than ever when Zak won't talk about the matter, assuring her that it's nothing to do with her. Towards the end of the day, Debbie reminds Zak that Sarah needs the whole family to pull together. Meanwhile, as Laurel and Ashley enjoy spending quality time together, Diane worries that Sandy doesn't look well at the pub. Diane and Pearl take Sandy into the back room as he feels dizzy, but he refuses to get Ashley involved. Later, Laurel and Ashley are getting cosy when Sandy and Pearl walk in, with Pearl explaining that Sandy had a funny turn. Laurel is concerned, but Ashley is annoyed that his evening has been ruined. Ashley lays into Sandy while an oblivious Laurel runs a bath upstairs. Elsewhere, Declan is annoyed when Adam warns that the Maceys won't get anything from his family, Megan is intrigued when Katie warns her about Carl, Gennie feels terrible when Nikhil trips over her bag and hurts his ankle, while Adam loses it when he sees the order of service for the funeral and Holly begs him to keep it together for her sake. 24th It's the day of the funeral and Adam fights back the tears as he looks out over the fields. Holly is grateful for Roz's support when she turns up, but it's a heartbreaking day for the village. Meanwhile, Ashley is sarcastic with Sandy when he wants to go to the funeral and refuses to cash his pension for him. Later, Laurel is concerned when Sandy apologises for ruining her night and she sees how sad he looks. Elsewhere, Lisa is disgusted when Zak decides not to attend the funeral, while Declan tells Megan that she's got until tomorrow to make her decision about the festival job |
