Jobseeker facing repossession of her home offers herself for sale on eBay in bid to keep bailiffs at bay A jobseeker has offered herself on eBay in the hope of attracting employers' attention. Deborah Bowen, 38, has found it difficult to find steady employment since she was made redundant from a £33,000 per year sales role two years ago. Despite sending out her CV to hundreds of recruiters she has only managed to secure part-time work, at a number of companies including a local plumbers' merchants, with some positions paying as little as £6.50 per hour. On February 17 she put herself up for sale with an ad reading: 'For sale - a willing and able permanent or temporary employee. 'Sales Professional/BDM/W/house will do almost anything for work. Please read on, Could you be the right person to give me the right opportunity?' However to date her post has attracted no bidders. In the advertisement she posts a copy of her CV which details her employment history, education and hobbies which include 'keeping fit, snooker, pool, walking & travel'. She told MailOnline: 'I've been in my house 11 years, and it needs lots doing to it. There's bits falling down everywhere which means I can't even rent the extra room out. 'My partner is employed but it's only temporary and we don't pay benefits at all. 'I thought eBay would be a great way of reaching a large audience and people from all types of sectors.
