5th Aaron nervously calls Ed to ask him out for a drink, but soon cancels to help Adam, who is struggling at the farm with a broken roof. Later, Ed arrives with two teammates, and they step in to help fix the barn roof. Holly takes an instant shine to Ed, but it's not long before Aaron gets the confirmation he wants - Ed is gay. Oblivious to this, Holly continues to flirt with Ed. Later, Ed is gutted to see Aaron and Adam share a moment of closeness. Once the job is done, Aaron is nervous as he stays behind with Ed while the others head to the pub. Ed asks about Adam, but Aaron is quick to explain they are just friends. Moments later, Ed and Aaron share their first kiss. Meanwhile, Pollard is in a foul mood over Val leaving and takes his bad temper out on the guests. Amy thinks he should contact Val and have it out with her. Under pressure from Amy and David, Pollard agrees to visit Val in Portugal. However, as Pollard gets increasingly frustrated trying to book the flight, he is aghast to discover that Val has emptied their joint bank account. Elsewhere, Chas is stunned by Debbie's anger when she hears Cameron is staying with her, while Rachel and Sam persuade Declan to give Zak a job at Home Farm 6th Holly still fancies Ed and fishes for gossip from Aaron, who is forced to explain that Ed is gay. Soon afterwards, Aaron gets anxious when he realises that he and Ed are going to Bar West for their first date. The evening starts relaxed, but when Ed has a quiet word with the barman, things take a turn for the worse and soon the atmosphere between Aaron and Ed seems tense. Aaron is confused when Ed suddenly makes his excuses and leaves. Aaron follows him out and discovers that Ed's coolness is because he found out about Jackson at the bar. Aaron is angry that Ed expected him to have explained about Jackson on his first date and walks away. Meanwhile, Lisa is determined that Zak will make a go of his job at Home Farm. However, Zak doesn't turn up to the estate as planned. Sam lies to Lisa over his father's whereabouts and soon finds Zak on a country lane, seeming confused and anxious. Later in The Woolpack, Declan tells Sam that Zak is sacked as he saw him skiving off. Elsewhere, Lisa and Lizzie hand out leaflets for their forthcoming beauty party, Amy is troubled as Pollard gets rid of Val's clothes, Nicola flirts with Alex in the pub, while Chas is confused over her feelings for Cameron. 7th There's an awkward atmosphere when Cameron wishes Debbie luck for the appointment. Soon afterwards, Chas and Cameron are amused when Megan mistakes them for a couple, as Chas has given him a job helping her behind the bar. Later, Chas and Cameron sit talking about love and compare notes about their terrible track records with relationships. As the chemistry sizzles, they surprise themselves by kissing. They both pull apart when they hear footsteps and Chas is mortified, telling Cameron that he's got the wrong end of the stick - but she seems uncertain about her feelings. Meanwhile, Sam encourages Zak to come to work with him, privately hoping that Declan will reconsider his decision. However, Declan tells Zak to get off his land - and Zak is annoyed when he discovers that Declan had sacked him but Sam didn't dare to tell him. Later, Lisa is furious when she finds out that Zak has lost his job. In the pub, Zak has a go at Declan and Cain intervenes. Sam can't understand why Cain isn't helping Zak, unaware of their recent history. However, Ed seems unfazed and as they talk about it, Ed pulls Aaron into a kiss. Wanting time alone together, Ed suggests they could go back to his place for the evening. Aaron covers how gutted he is when Ed tells him that he's leaving for France in four weeks as he has just signed a contract with a rugby club over there. Meanwhile, Debbie suddenly feels lonely and vulnerable at the hospital appointment and asks for Charity, who arrives shortly afterwards. Back at the pub, Chas is distracted by Cameron and feels guilty when she receives a text from Debbie. Later, Debbie feels torn when Charity tells her that she has until tomorrow to sort things out with Cameron before he leaves the village. Elsewhere, Nicola gets home cold and bedraggled, Lisa and Lizzie's party is in full swing, while Zak arrives back home with Sam 9th Cameron is preparing to leave for Jersey as the Dingles await the test results to see if the baby is a match. Chas is sad but relieved that Cameron is leaving, and feels uncomfortable when Charity explains that she wants to get Cameron and Debbie back together. Debbie is apprehensive when the phone rings. At the garage, Aaron and Cameron hear the cheer from across the road and know it's good news. The Dingles are delighted - the baby is a match. Later, Debbie goes to see Cameron and wants him to stay, but he's unsure - doubting whether their relationship can work. Debbie desperately pleads and eventually Cameron agrees to stay. Meanwhile, Rachel wants to know if Ashley still wants her to clean their home, but he's busy and explains he will discuss it later. As the day continues, Ashley confides in Rachel over how shocked he is by Sandy's frailty. Rachel seems reassured that Ashley seems to care and offers to ask Ruby for some advice. Elsewhere, Moira can't face the day and Holly is left to do all the chores with help from Alex, Marlon insists that Paddy should propose to Rhona, while Aaron and Ed have spent the night together |
