For those that are unaware, there are two board themes for Fiver's Honeycomb. The default is the brown theme, but there is also a dark black theme.

You can switch themes by going all the way to the bottom of the main page, and off to the left in a drop down box you are given the option to switch themes.

"Losing Hope" is the brown theme.
"Lucent Rose" is the black theme.

As you can see, I've spent more time in making sure the brown theme works. The black one is far less developed but its another option for those seeking something a bit different. With the new tablets like the ipad, perhaps one looks/works better. Options are always good.

Something I noticed about this new theme....it works best if you have a non-widescreen monitor, otherwise a lot of things are cut off. For example, with my laptop, I only see the first row of pictures and ears of the second one. On a larger widescreen, I see the first two rows. I'm guessing this was intentional to accommodate all sorts of screen resolutions?

Well, the image has 3 rows. The third row is only for 4:3-Monitors. It's optimized for 16:9-monitors, because the first 2 rows are the "main-rows".

"A New World" is now also available in a bright version with black text.

Feedback is desired as always :)

The only problem that could be are the user titles: They admins have now red titles because they are good to read in both templates. The normal users have white titles, that are a bit hard to read in the new template. Opinions, which color the normal titles could have are always desired ;)

The new theme is pretty decent in quality. Personally, I prefer darker themes, as they are a bit easier on the eyes. ;)

For me, sometimes dark themes are easier to read, sometimes bright themes.

Now, everyone can choose his prefered theme ;)

Not to knock great work, but the blue usernames on the New World original theme hardly show up. :( Red isn't easy on the eyes either.

Yes it was an experience. I deactivated the new theme and put the colors back to normal.

As you see on my website, I like black text on bright ground. But for this forum, this doesn't work very good.

You may have seen, that we have a new theme in development: Bright Eyes.

What do you think? What can we optimize?

I'm planning to add a background like we have it in the "A New World" theme.

Tell us here your feedback!

Thanks in advance!

I like the Bright Eyes theme (I prefer light themes over dark themes). A background would definitely be nice to fill in all the empty space on either side, so I'll be looking forward to that. Otherwise, there does not seem to be much to complain about. I will say that there might be a better color than orange for the names of members in the council of chiefs. It doesn't really fit the colors of the rest of the theme very well, and it is a little too bright. It is not bad right now, but just darkening the color a bit would be helpful.

There are a few other places where the text is really bright, such as the numbers for selecting pages within a topic.

Oh, and the menu above Kehaar's Zero Access Panel is shifted to the right. I assume it is supposed to be in the center.

You have at least one user of this theme! May I ask what the background is going to be?

Yes, I know, that it's all still shifted :( Currently, I haven't so much time to work on the theme. But I will see, if I can fix it :)

I played around with the background of the standard theme. What do you think? Of course, it could need some optimization. But when it looks absolutely terrible, I'll put it back to normal.

I just thought, some colors would be nice :)

Just FYI: I forgot to post it here, sorry :(

I've disabled the "Bright Eyes" version, because it won't work properly. And I don't want to have a bad looking, non-working template online.

Moreover, I've put too much effort in the "A New World" template.

Is there any way we can help you making the theme work, minun ystavani (my friend)? :)!

To be honest: I've put so much work into this theme, I personal think it's a shame to use a messy, non-working theme. Don't waste your energy on that one. It was a experiment, that failed.
