But attacking these two right away would be against the noble code Sir Frederick is following. So instead he did a gentle cough to make those villains aware of his presence here and give them a chance to prepare for a fair fight. |

The murderers turned at the sound. "Hey, is that the pizza delivery guy?" "What? You ordered pizza without telling me? We're trying to save money! You- you-" Five seconds of censored material later, the murderers were pummeling each other on the floor. |

Upon seeing the murderers fighting like children, a thought occurred to Sir Fredrick: these murderers would destroy each other sooner or later. His heroism clearly wasn't needed here. One of him versus these two morons would just be unfair. He turned to leave the place. |

OOC: A few anachronistic and silly elements are allowed ![]() BIC: At that moment, the two murderers realized there was a threat and challenged Sir Fredrick to a fight. That might have been a bad mistake on their part, considering their ineptitude: one of them was holding a sword upside down and the other was pointing a bow at his own chest. |

But they had the major advantage of Sir Frederick being currently turned to them with his back. Despite lacking the skill or knowledge how to use the wapons, one of the murderers swung with the sword and managed to get a lucky hit. Due to losing his helm during the river accident, one hit with the pommel to the head was enough to knock Sir Frederick to the ground. |

The two murderers stared at Sir Fredrick's motionless body. "Is he dead?" "I don't know, and I don't care. Let's get out of here." As soon as they had left the building, Sir Fredrick got back up. He had a slight headache, but he had already suffered from far worse ones. He left the building and started to chase the murderers, who were clearly in no hurry to leave the area. |

Sir Frederick was running as fast as he could to catch those murderers, but that was probably not the smartest move. Feeling still dizzy after being hit to the head, he slipped on a rock laying in his way. And despite trying his best to hold his balance and dignity, he eventually failed and fell hard to the ground. |

The two murderers, who really hadn't been too far ahead, turned around. Figuring they could take a break, they settled down a few feet away to continue playing Egyptian Ratscrew. Half an hour later, they were still at their card game. Sir Fredrick recovered and got to his feet. He drew his sword, quickly realizing that his idiotic adversaries were completely distracted. |

Just as he was about to strike, however, one of the murderers tackled the other, as his partner had clearly cheated on the last turn. Sir Fredrick missed his target of the murderers ankles and ended up driving his sword in the Earth. |

Fredrick had prudently stashed a dagger in his clothing, which he pulled out and drove into one of the murderer's chests. The villain crumpled to the floor, dying. |

Reviving an old thread because it was fun. The second murderer, seeing what had happened to his companion, immediately surrendered. Sir Fredrick took him to a police station that just happened to be there at the bottom of the cliff. |

(Thanks, Chipster! And that post was funny I laugh reading over this thread)The police officers were elated and publicly declared Sir Fredrick a hero. His name and story were published in the newspaper. |

Yes, Sir Frederick was mentioned in a bitter article, where the reporter pointed out, that while Sir Frederick was hunting the two murderers, the criminality in his home town grew up at an enormous rate: the ancient bell from the town hall was stolen, people are being robbed on a bright day and no one helped that old lady to cross the street. |

However, nobody paid attention to the newspaper anyway, so it wasn't a big deal

Seeing as the newspapers wouldn't sell and the garbage collection system was not yet up to snuff, the streets of Sir Fredrick's town quickly became littered with discarded papers, so much so that it became a crisis. People couldn't walk two steps without slipping on a wet newspaper and it quickly became a hindrance to Fredrick's heroing. |
