Are you a photographer? When you have seen my DA-wallpapers, you might have realized, that I am a (hobby) photographer. And maybe, you are one, too :)

Now I want to know, how you shoot your photos. For me, there are two ways (three with the old method):

Hawkbit's Way:
In the beginning, I used my Pentax Optio RS1000 digital camera to shoot photos. This camera is small and takes pretty good pictures for such a cheap camera. I shoot the photos in JPG and filtered some with photoshop-filters.

Hardware:

  • Pentax Optio RS1000

Software:

  • Filter Forge 3
  • Corel Paint Shop Pro X (later X6)
  • nik Color Effex Pro 2.0 (Photoshop-Filter)

Bigwig's Way:
Meanwhile, I'm owning a good smartphone, so most ofht pictures, you see on my DA-account where taken by this. Some of them have been digitally reworked with Filter Forge 3.

Hardware:

  • Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo

Software:

  • Filter Forge 3

Darkling's Way:
Meanwhile, I'm using a Nikon D3200 with some supplies. Images where shot in RAW and post-processed with HDR Projects.

Hardware:

  • Nikon D3200
  • Lens Hood (which is pretty expensive :o )
  • Case Logic SLR Quick Sling Slider-Strap
  • easyCover Case (to protect the camera)
  • AmazonBasics remote release

Software:

  • HDR Projects 4 Professional

--- --- ---

So now you've seen my methods. What are yours? Do you have tipps? This thread should help other rabbits (claws, bats, ect.) here to improve their photograph-experience.
