As Honeysuckle nibbled the clover with Dahlia, she glanced at Elm, who appeared to be tense. The more time she spent with him, the more she thought that he was suspecting something. Or maybe it was something else that was bothering him. She turned her head to stare back at him.

"You seem to have something on your mind..."

Elm stiffened completely and lifted his head. "No," He snapped. "I don't."
Dahlia frowned and nudged Honeysuckle gently. "Ignore him," She told Honeysuckle sweetly, glancing to Elm with a concerned look. Elm fur bristled as he watched Dahlia step closer to Honeysuckle's side.

Elm really does have something bothering him, Honeysuckle thought. But Dahlia was probably right, that it was better to leave him alone. She therefore continued to nibble the clover with Dahlia, and moved even closer to her. The feeling of the other doe's fur brushing against her own was very relaxing.

The doe was content. Dahlia relaxed and allowed her eyes to close for a brief moment as she grazed. Her body tingled with warmth at the feeling of Honeysuckle's fur against hers. It wasn't often she strayed from the protection and safety of Elm, and it was even more rare to sit so closely. She made sure to remember this moment forever.

Honeysuckle closed her eyes and sighed in relaxation, grateful that Dahlia seemed to be enjoying this as much as she did. She took a quick break from her silflay to nuzzle the other doe's ears; hopefully she wouldn't mind. And hopefully Elm wouldn't interrupt this quiet, peaceful moment...

Dahlia leaned into Honeysuckle's touch. Her fur was fluffed up and eyes close. Dahlia had always been one for close contact and enjoyed affection, both giving and receiving. Elm stared at Honeysuckle and Dahlia through narrows eyes and moved closer to Dahlia's side.

Honeysuckle too closed her eyes, appreciating the physical contact between the two does.

Suddenly, she heard an unusual noise. Sniffing the air, she picked up an unidentified smell, and it was not reassuring. This time, it was not a trick, it was real. She got back up and stamped loudly.

Dahlia jumped at Honeysuckle's thumping foot. Her eyes were wide, nose twitching quickly. "What is it?"

"I think there's something nearby." Honeysuckle sniffed the air once again, attempting to identify what kind of creature was present; it was not a rabbit, but other than that she didn't know. "I hope it's not dangerous..."

Moments later, a crow flew out of a nearby tree towards the rabbits.

Elm had stiffened, eyes glaring apprehensively at their surroundings. During this time, Dahlia had moved closer to her brother in some attempt of comfort. She squealed, frightened, as the crow flew from the tree.

Fortunately, the crow did not appear to be hunting at the moment, and simply flew to another tree further away.

Honeysuckle had made no attempt to scare the crow, or protect the other two rabbits; she simply went tharn. After the crow was gone, she slowly regained her senses. This was one thing she would not be able to take credit for.

"I'm glad it flew away. I just hope it won't come back..."

Dahlia took a moment, a sharp breath she wasn't aware she was holding in slowly leaving her stiff body. She hopped over to Honeysuckle's side and gently nuzzled her. "Are you alright?" She asked. Her tone was subdued and soft, eyes occasionally looking up to the sky. "Maybe we should go undercover somewhere," She began, looking towards Elm. "Just until we're sure it won't come back."

"I think so..." Honeysuckle stretched her hind legs to see if she felt any pain. She did not recall the crow attacking her, but she did not recall anything else either. Fortunately, she felt fine. "You're right we should probably go underground. Two elil in one morning..." she said, shuddering, "Are you all right?"

"And what about you?" she added, turning to Elm.

Elm puffed his chest and looked to the side. "Of course I'm fine," He mumbled, seemingly angry at the implication that he would be scared by a bird, of all things. Dahlia pressd her nose into Elm's fur and nudged him towards Honeysuckle. "Come on, lets go underground."

Honeysuckle repressed a sigh; Elm really was in a bad mood. She would have to ask him about all this at some point, but that would have to wait: the top priority at the moment was to get underground before the crow came back. The situation was tense; she would have to lighten the mood.

"Race to the top?" She winked at Dahlia and Elm, before dashing towards the warren.
