In the movie, it's definitely Frith when Hazel asks. In the book, it's the Black rabbit of Inle during Dandelion's story.

You know, you're right, it is the Black Rabbit in the book. Guess that means Keeralie gets to pick the quote, since she was referencing the book and not the film.

Somehow Pipkin's quote about Cowslip and his sad crew..." They're like trees in November..." which was an apt description. Majestic, but devoid and depressing.
