Rake lounges on the beach of Salamandastron. He wouldn't be caught dead in a dreadful place like Marlfox Island.

Rabbits take offense as well when called hares. Rabbits tend to think of hares as overly militant and barbarous, which clashes with their austere and civil nature.

And no, I only wish I wrote that poem, the true author is Brian Jacques himself.

:huh Wot?

Uhh, Rake goes to the hill and stands at the top, doing absolutely nothing.

Now I am on the hill, and the hill is under me and I have gone over hills and across waters.

Unexpectedly, Myrkin turns out to be an agent of Marlfoxes, as he leads rabbit army straight into the trap. Once the army is beaten and its survivors are turned into slaves, he is sent with another mission: gather a mercenary force and attack Redwall...

Really? I didn't know that. Then again, the only rabbit characters I "met" in Redwall universe was Mirdop family and I don't think they ever spoke of hares. This is what happens when you've read only a few books from the series. :p

From what I heard there are only a few rabbit characters in the series, while there are dozens if not hundreds named hares. Is that true?

Redwallers wouldn't slay a friend, especially if he offered information and military knowledge of an imminent attack. Wanna let me in? Please, you wouldn't let a poor unfortunate soul perish of hunger out in the road right in front of your gate, would you?

Myrkin: I can only recall the Mirdop family, and maybe one or two more rabbits through the whole series, and there have been dozens of named hares (about 170 in the long patrol alone).

After leaving Catle Marl, Myrkin lands on north-eastern shore of Big Inland Lake. Immediately he begins recruiting beast to Marlfox cause. Using promises of loot and riches he manages to convince many rats, stoats and other creatures to join his army. He leads it north and west towards Redwall, raiding a few isolated villages on the way to test this new army.

Redwall gets a makeover - 400 machine guns for the mice, The MoleTM (Thunderbirds :P why not) for the moles to increase digging speed, 50 rocket launchers on the side of the walls, and the walls get a coating of that invincible ice stuff the Brits were gonna use in WW2 (REAL)
Take me down now, Myrkin!
Oh yeah and Rake got kicked down the hill as I heard he was here to take the hill.

My precious.

Myrkin arms his army with 100 heavy howitzer guns. Once they have Redwall withing their range, he orders 50 of them to begin artillery barrage on the inside of Abbey, while the other 50 fires continuously on areas right before the entrances to Redwall to make sure that any defender trying to leave will get blasted to smithereens.

The moles use The Mole to dig under and make holes underneath the howitzers; they fall into the ground and explode. Holly holds on to redwall

Myrkin sends a team into the tunnel dug by moles to set explosives under wall's foundation. The explosion brings down a section of the wall, allowing his army to invade Redwall. Now the hill is mine.

Myrkin asks Captain Nemo to sink Rake's battleship. Once that's done, he begins rebuilding of the hill which is still his.
