Name: Elay

Gender: Doe

Age: 3 1/4 years

Warren: Hlessi(living alone above ground)

Personality: Like all rabbits, jumpy and nervous, but less-so than others due to years living above ground, she deals with things logically, though she may sometimes jump to conclusions. She doesn't think she's right, she knows she's right and not afraid to show it. She always has a sharp remark or witty comeback ready. She's a little vain and very proud of herself, she won't accept help even if she really needs it, but that doesn't stop her from crying help in a tight situation, if one answers that plea, that rabbit would get their head bitten off.

Strengths: Smart and fast

Weaknesses: Not the strongest, proud

Appearance: Overall, her fur is the grey of clouds just starting to fill with precipitation, she has darker fur, the colour of a proper storm cloud around the tips of her lop-ears and her toes. She has not-quite-white fur on her chest that stops just under her chin. She has a thin scar across the bridge of her nose, and several lacing her front legs, chest, and body. She carries herself with a dignified and bold posture.

Name: Frostbitten (Frost for short)

Gender: Buck

Age: 3

Warren: Wild Rabbit

Personality: He likes to joke a lot when faced with a dangerous situation, like facing a cat or one of the thousand. He doesn't seem to be scared when faced with them, he seems to enjoy it. He will run away when faced with another rabbit, so his personality is flipped-flopped

Strengths: Can laugh in the face of danger, crafty, can make friends with the thousands if they choose to, he also is called a medic for the Thousand.

Weaknesses: trying to make friends with the thousands could kill him, afraid of man though

Appearance: A pure white rabbit that looks like fresh new snow with crystal blue eyes and bluish feet, he also has an owl's feather next to his left ear as a pass to all Thousands that he is not to be touched.

Name: Senna

Gender: Doe

Age: One

Warren: Aceroston Warren

Personality: Not considered shy, but not forward in temperament. Is very compassionate. She has a good sense of humor though in very serious situations, she keeps a clam head and is not to be messed with.

Weaknesses: Maybe too kind, but not quite a walkover

Strengths: Works well in a team, good swimmer and runner and healer

Apperance: Copper colour, with grey pelt and amber eyes. Average size and is built for speed and, surprisingly enough for a rabbit, swimming.

Name:Skip

Gender:Buck

Age:Three

Apparance:Brown with pale brown fur from his chin to the bottom of his tail and dark brown eyes.

Personality:Sly and quite ruthless, he dosn't appretiate his time being wasted or jokes. He normally speaks what is on his mind about an idea or another creature wether it be poitive or negative. Despite this he is loyal and a good team worker.

Build:Skip has a sturdy build with broad shoulders which are great for fighting though he is not the biggest of rabbits which means he is a decent runner and can keep up with the pace if he needs too.

Name: Redd

Gender: Male

Appearance: Redd, predictably, has reddish brown fur, as well as almost black at the tips of his ears and his nose. He's a big rabbit, big enough for Owsla, though it's very unlikely that he would become part of Owsla in any warren with a sane Chief Rabbit.

Personality: Redd is terrified of being lost. He will only wander if his life depended on it. He's compassionate and warm, and a big softie. However, he always has wit ready to use at a moments notice. He has rather low self-esteem

Strengths: Big and strong

Weaknesses: Terrified at being lost or far away from holes, doesn't think highly of himself.

Name: Planck(pronounced plank)

Gender: Male

Appearance: It might be odd naming a rabbit after the smallest unit of measurement, but it fits Planck. He's rather small and skinny, his ears are rather stubby for a rabbit as well. His fur is brown, in short, he's not much to look at.

Personality: Planck is fiery and has a bit of a temper. He doesn't know the meaning of fear, in fact, he's a bit reckless. He wont back down and if he doesn't like the chief rabbit or the owsla, he'd be the first to say, and would challenge them. That has happened, and he's run from several warrens in the past. Trouble doesn't follow Planck, it sits around and waits for him.

Strengths: Brave, great fighter

Weaknesses: Reckless, small, accident-prone

I wanna thank Myrkin for helping me and linking me to this forum. I'm ready for this.

These are two characters I've been working on for a while, one of them is kinda the rebirth of my old blind doe Kaina (just the personality, nothing else).

Sorry, these characters aren't the best, but I hope they're good enough. If they're not, I'd be happy to change that, I haven't done this in many, many years... WSD roleplay at least, and I was a n00b when I started anyhow.

Also. Sorry. Long bios are long, I apologize. xD

Name: Naruthyl (nickname is 'Naru')
Species: Oryctolagus cuniculus
Gender: Doe
Age: 2 Years, born in late winter, shortly before spring

Description
Very dark brown, almost black in color. The base of her ears, spine, tail tip, muzzle and paws are all darker in color. She has two darker spots on the back of her neck as well. Parts of her face and cheeks are lighter in color, with an even lighter shade of pale brown near the edge of her lower head and connected to a patch on her chest. She has the usual lighter tail-tip and lighter eye patches. Her eyes are a dark teal blue. In addition, she has two different scars, obtained through traveling as a hlessi. One rip in her right ear, and a scratch on her muzzle. Other than that she is a beautiful doe. Her fur is fine and soft. She is a bit stockier than a normal doe, if only just slightly stronger than normal. She has a rounded and compact look to her, rather simple looking but what a human might call 'cute' in that sense. She is a bit larger than normal but not too much so.

History
She never knew all that much about her Warren. She knew her brother, her sister, her mother, and of the war. An ongoing battle between two Warrens. And the blood. So much blood. She never completely understood why the Warrens hated eachother, it was too much for such a young kitten to understand. But she did know that they hated eachother dearly, and she understood the sense of hopelessness her mother felt at least a little. This is how the little was named. She was named in a way that made very little sense when repeated, perhaps their Marli was near tharn, no one really knows. Naru, as in "to dislike" and Thyl, as in "to start". In naming her Naruthyl, it was linked to that, in Naru's beginning, there was much hate around her. Her sister was named Inle-roo, a reference to the Black Rabbit and implying her small size. Her brother's name, Bralvaonahl, literally means "Hope no", but could be translated to 'No hope" or "Hopeless".

Indeed, although one might consider giving rooli this name foolish, it proved correct. The war was at its peak. It ended in disaster after all. It was no happy ending for any of them, filled with death and horror. As they were 10 weeks old, one rainy day, the massacre happened. The other Warren attacked, without mercy. Naru's Warren stubbornly defended themselves, refusing to retreat. Weakened and desperate after a rather harsh year, the majority of the rabbits were killed. Then, the burrow was infiltrated. Her mother cried 'Zorn!', and, heartbroken, attempted to defend her kittens. She was killed quickly. Inle-roo was the next the next rabbit to die. Bralvaonahl suffered bad injuries, and Naru was attacked, but wasn't injured too badly, due to another survivor coming in and stopping them. They were all gathering outside. There were 7 survivors, not including the two kittens. In the end, they decided it would be best to band together for survival, despite their differences. This is all Naru can remember of her early past. (if needed, I can state what was really going on in her Warren that she is unaware of)

She and her brother were taken in by the group of rabbits. She resented them, seeing them as negative figures in her mind, but cooperated and cared for her brother in order to keep them both alive. To ensure survival, as they got older, the two were trained. Naruthyl listened carefully to the legends abd lessons she was taught. Life was difficult enough, to difficult to do the usual practices of a proper Warren. The group was too small and not growing fast enough. Any kittens born into the group were killed off too quickly due to the lack of adults, and no social order was developed. They eventually were picked off one by one. Four were killed by Elil. Two died of hunger. One simply left to seek a better life elsewhere. At 9 months old, this left the two young rabbits alone to fend for themselves. From that moment until currently, sticking together, the two rabbits have wandered alone. It's been a tough experience for both of them, taking turns at silflaying and keeping watch. Endless travel seems to be their current fate, in many ways they're barely aware that warrens even exist.

History Notes
The death of her home Warren did not impact her nearly as much as it did her brother, but it did teach her how harsh life can be, and in the long run helped her step up to care for her living relative. The training she recieved growing up was harsh and helped shape her character, as well as the countless near-death experiences she had growning up. Although her small group of survivors was killed off by Elil by the time she was 9 months old, Naruthyl learned alot from them, including how she could learn from the tales of El-ahrairah to help her succeed as well as the various fighting lessons she was taught. Most of her most character-building experiences, however, came from the dangerous encounters with Elil and such while traveling alone with her brother.

Personality
Having been raised without any type of organized rabbit society for the majority of her life, Naruthyl knows very little of Chief Rabbits, Owlsa, or any matter of a Warren life. She is used to living almost entirely above ground, running and fighting her way through life. She does know much of rabbit lore, including the story of Watership Down, and has taken it to heart, using the usual cunning and trickery to get out of some tricky scrapes, though strives for simplicity in most situations. She does speak Lapine, but it isn't as fluent as most rabbits.

In habit, she is always looking for danger, silflays nervously, and may seem strange, jumpy, and even paranoid to the average rabbit. Likewise, she is very wary and even hateful towards other rabbits. Naru is very alert, cautious, and doesn't trust anything that seems slightly unfamiliar, and doesn't like to do anything out of the ordinary for her. Life in a Warren may be hard for her. She is a bit snappy and quick to attack someone unfamiliar. She will easily jump to conclusions and resort to aggression should the situation be in her favor at the moment. It takes a lot to earn her trust, and she will be hostile or even rude at first. This doe can also be quite a bit irritable, may complain frequently, and has a foul mouth at times. Although she will should the situation call for it, she hates to run and loves to fight.

However, beneath this strangely tough, aggressive doe is a reserved, hidden sweet nature that she rarely reveals. More often seen is her sturdy courage, undivided loyalty, and absolute perseverance in the hardest of times. She has a very strong devotion to those she trusts, and although she tries to hide it at times, she does care for such rabbits, and will give her life to ensure their happiness and safety. This can be seen towards her brother, who irritates her and she may even be harsh to, but in the end will tend to his every need, from keeping him safe to comforting him occasionally. Despite this, however, any buck who simply treats her like a doe, she will not hesitate to bite their ears off just to prove she's not your average defenseless doe. She can have a rash temper in such situations, and may need to be persuaded to keep her cool should her temper get her and others in trouble.

Abilities
Her only strength is that she is a good fighter. Part of this is from physical ability, part of it is from her mindset, and part of it is from training, so it might not entirely be considered a special ability. Although she is stronger than the average doe, it really only is enough on its own to face up to the strength of the average buck. Her fierce determination and her personality, as well as the tough training both recieved from life experiences and from older rabbits teaching her how to fight aids it, but it doesn't lead up to making her a super-rabbit. She is of normal size and there are certainly many rabbits stronger than she is.

Name: Bralvaonahl (prefers 'Bralvao')
Species: Oryctolagus cuniculus
Gender: Buck
Age: 2 Years, born in late winter, shortly before spring

Description
Unlike his sister, he's a very light silverish-blue color, close to being white. His markings vary a bit from her as well. He has a darker back. His belly and part of his muzzle is white and it spreads down his paws. The fur around his eyes and the lower half of his tail is white. His eyes are a pale, golden yellow. He is alot more scarred than his sister, having a ripped right ear, missing an eye, and having scratch marks on his forehead, left shoulder, and rump. He has a rather slim appearance, built for speed but poor in a purely physical fight.

History
Although he was always rather mellow compared to his active and curious sisters, Bralvao was completely innocent. He shares his sister's past, observing as well as experiencing the brutal attack by their neighboring warren. He came out of it scarred and frightened, but survived, if only barely.

It was realized that it was too late to try and heal his trauma, and in which case he could never accept any sort of training that in a warren, an owlsa member might receive. But, seeing as he should be of some use to the small group, he was taught to look out for danger, how to exceed at doing so and how important it was. This did little to ease his nervousness, but taught him how to be useful.

As the group slowly died out, Bralvao began to get worried. He, unlike his sister, had grown fond of all of them. The last rabbit was the Captain of Owlsa in their previous Warren, but seeing the two young rabbits as the enemy, he left them to fend for themselves, searching for somewhere he could be of more use. This highly discouraged Bralvao, and it's only because of his sister's encouragement, protection, and optimistic attitude that he kept himself going.

History Notes
The death of his family impacted him much more than it did his sister, obviously. Seeing his mother and sister be brutally murdered, then to be attacked himself and nearly left for dead, was rather traumatic for him. He probably only survived because Naru tried to defend him at the last minute, diving in to protect him. Little comfort after the catastrophe did little to help him in his fragile state, so he grew up to be a very alert, jumpy, cowardly, shy, and nervous rabbit. He received a certain amount of training when he was younger, the marjority of it being how to be a good watch rabbit.

Personality
Very twitchy and active, he's very wary of any strange rabbit and will go to great lengths to avoid them. He's particularly anxious to anything he can't see on his blind side. He has a strong fear of blood. Much of his timid nature is due to his experiences as a kitten. He doesn't take to other rabbits right away, but he will do so easier than his sister will. He tends to stick timidly around rabbits he trusts, hiding behind them and if he can, relying on them for protection. He would rather not be alone; he is not so cowardly that he would just abandon them to fend for themselves. He's very pessimistic and cowardly, but he has a sweet disposition. He's very kind and will stop for another injured rabbit (given there's no blood involved, he's more likely to be torn between helping the rabbit and running, so he'll just stand there, frozen in fear). He loves to spend time with younger rabbits.

Although he's not the bravest of rabbits to say the least, he may not appear very noble, but he does really care for those he's close to. He is very sensitive and Naru's harsh words sometimes hurt him, but he really does care for her and knows she doesn't mean it. He feels bad that she's always risking his life to keep him safe. If Bralvao is cornered, he will defend himself as necessary, although not extremely talented at fighting. He has improved within the last three months, he does have a desire to become less timid. It's something he find difficult, but on occasion, when he's able to muster the courage, when his sister has been in danger he's attempted to help her. Perhaps in the future he can face his fear more openly and more frequently.

He speaks Lapine worse than his sister and will often be very quiet. Bralvao speaks mostly in simple words but is often too shy to say much, and will, more often, say nothing and remain the background, hesitant to participate in any manner of social activities. He prefers to be called the first half of his name because the idea that his name means 'hopeless' is unnerving.

Abilities
Although missing an eye, he makes an excellent sentry due to pure habit and practice. He is used to constantly scanning the area, wary to anything unusual and will jump at the smallest sounds. He may detect things that other rabbits miss. Due to his slim build he's an excellent, practiced runner, and is capable of using his speed rather than strength in combat. However, his nervous, timid nature can be a huge drawback. It can be irritating when he freaks out at the smallest thing, and he's highly likely to run rather than fight in any situation, and he's unlikely to even try to fight at all, although there are exceptions.

You're rabbit are all so cute! I so want to join the warren but thought it might be interesting if they had elil to interact with. How will they out wit this one?

(I'll make a rabbit character soon too when I see an opportunity for him/her to step into the story)

Name: Vixen

Species: Fox

Role: Elil

Gender: Female

Age: 2 years (young and silly, a bit inexperienced)

Appearance: Scruffy red brown fur, dark brown eyes that slant in a wily expression. Shaggy brisk tail that often twitches back and forth like a cat.

Personality: Rather self serving most of the time. Has a tendancy to use her friends to suit her own agenda. Therefore she can't really be trusted. Cunning as a fox, but often thinks she is a lot smarter than she actually is. Prides herself in outwitting others, which can sometimes be her downfall because it can cause her to attempt to show off. Has a sharp mind so gets bored easily. Thinks she knows it all but is actually quite nieve and inexperienced. Prefers not to have to work too hard for a meal.

Likes
: Listening to stories, playing games, such as guessing games, or "who done it" mystery games.

Dislikes: being out witted. Does not really dislike rabbits, just see's them as dinner.

Backstory: Born in a litter of four, but has ventured out on her own as is the stlye of most foxes. She once had a mate, but one day when they were raiding a chicken coop, they heard the sound of a man shouting and coming towards them. Her mate ran off, leaving her at the mercy of the man. She had to cower and hide under the chicken coup, hoping that she would not be seen. The mans dog smelt her and started barking so she had to make a dash for it across the yard. she dodged the bullet of the mans gun and fled out into the wild. In the process she twisted her left back leg and tore the muscle. This has given her a slight limp ever since and she is not as fast as she use to be. She has not been near the farm since.

Name: Bramble
Gender: Buck
Role: Hlessi at the moment, former Owsla trainee.
Age: yealing

Appearance: Agouti fur (brown with black tips on each hair) light brown eyes, fairly solid for his age. Has an unusual whirl of fur on each hip. Alert expression.

Personality: Was described in his former warren is "fearless, but wreckless". His hero is Rabscattle and he wants to be just like him. Far from a bully, but can certainly defend himself if backed into a corner. Also is very loyal to his friends and will stick up for them and defend them at any turn. Has a good natured personality and likes to see the positive in everything. Enjoys socialising and flirting with any doe that will give him the time of day. Bit blunt and straight to the point.

Positive Attributes: Loyal, brave, and started owsla training so has some decent fighting abilities. Exellent tracker and scouter. Strong sense of smell. Good knowledge of he ways of Elil as taught to him in paw camp (Boot camp). Quite safety conscious.

Weaknesses: A bit over confident sometimes. Has a tendancy to act with out thinking things through properly. Can blunder into trouble. Has a bit of a temper when riled. Sometimes over-estimates his own abilities to handle a given situation. Will find a loophole in any task to get out of it or make it easier if he can.

Love interests: If she looks his way, she's worth a try.

Hates: Bullies

Fears: Man

Goals: To find a warren, to find a mate and have offspring. To be accepted into an Owsla

Back story: Bramble had always been considered a good candidate for the Owsla because even as a yearling, he has some good weight and size coming on. He started his training in paw camp (as opposed to boot camp) under Captain Columbine who was a strict, dark furred rabbit. The no nonsense type. Brambles aloof air always seemed to annoy Columbine and he'd constantly correct him for being too wreckless or quick to act with out thinking things through. Well, it was on a training expedition that Bramble made a very serious error which took him far from his home warren. One day, the Owsla trainee's were sent on a raiding party to a farm nearby. The young hopeful's lined up before Captain Columbine.

"The first one to bring Flay-rah back will be promoted into the full owsla." Columbine told them. All the bucks sped off in different directions.

Bramble approached the Man burrow, hoping to find something left in the rubbish heap. After all, Captain Columbine had not said it had to be edible Flay-rah, or even good Flay-rah. He spotted a nice juicy carrot quite near the garden shed. "What luck" he thought as he rushed forward in a flurry of fur. Little did he know, this particular carrot had been placed in a live trap that the man had set.

*SNAP* the trap shut suddenly behind him. Bramble was stuck. He quivered low and waited until the man came and picked him up, cage and all. Being a kindly man, he did not wish to kill the rabbit so drove him in a hrududu to a far away hill and turned him lose.

Bramble had no idea why the man had opened the cage. He could only suppose that he meant to hunt him down or set dogs on him, so he ran as fast as he could until he reached a ditch which he hid in. From here, he could smell the scents around him. Nothing was familiar. what would he do now? All his friends were far away and his ambitions to be in the owsla were now nothing but a distant dream.

I'm adding a new character

Name:
Midnight
Species: Long eared owl
Gender: Female

Appearance: She is a migh smaller than other long eared owls and she has black feathers instead of brown.

Personality: She is usually quiet and is a deep thinker.

Strenghts: She is a silent flier

Weakness: She can only come out during the night

Backstory: Midnight was always a loner from the time she hatched out of her egg, but not always the case. She met Frostbitten one night when she sprained her left wing ans was unable to fly. After he healed her, she gave him a place to stay for a little while and one of her black feathers so he could pass through any territory without being bothered by any bird preditors. Ever since then, she has stopped eating rabbits.

I made this guy for Children of El-ahrairah on Deviant art but they don't seem to be very active so thought I'd post him here and maybe later on he can join in a role play

Character portrait and full back story http://shaydeelady.deviantart.com/gallery/#/art/Rye-Adoptable-No-5-for-Children-of-El-ahrairah-352174413?_sid=39017428

Brief history

Rye was born in the captivity of man. His mother was captured from the wild and gave birth to a litter of three. His mother and his two litter mates both died and he was sold to an animal research facility where he spent his days with his cage mates, and was used by man to test different injectable drugs. During his captivity he learned some of Man's language.

He escaped one day by biting one of the men in the hand and running down an air vent. Little did he know that the RSPCA had arrived to rescue all the animals. He fled off into the wilderness, not knowing where to go or what to do. He had no knowledge of the outside world other than the numerous tales of El-ahrairah he had heard or told with his cage mates.

He's now a lone Hlessi, wanting to learn to be a wild rabbit.

Hrair thlay
Silver
[ * * * ]
Name: Inle-Thlay (the meaning is Moon-Fur, he prefers the nickname "Gray")

Gender: Buck

Age: About one and a half years

Description: He is a somewhat strange-looking rabbit, his fur is noticeably thicker than most rabbits and has a strange habit of shining weakly in moonlight, hence his name, which means moon-fur, his fur is normally a gray-white shade very much similar to the color of the moon, during nights when the moon is visible, especially so if it is a full-moon, his fur will start giving off a weak shine as long as the moon's rays reach his fur, the glow is at it's strongest during a full moon, the shine also never occurs with Frith's light and will not occur if a majority of his fur is covered it dirt, mud or anything that can work to block the moon's light.
Other than that his left ear is somewhat torn and the iris of his eyes is red, often resulting in him being initially met with hostility or fear due to his coloring sometimes being confused for Elil which has left him with some small scars from misunderstandings, the more noticeable ones being some small scar

Personality: Quite friendly and inventive, somewhat quiet, has a very mild obsession with Inlè and The Black Rabbit of Inlè, likely due to his fur's strange property related to Inlè, something that causes him to often sit outside during full-moons and stare at the moon while seeming to be in some sort of trance, he also loves playing guessing games like bob-stone.

Backstory: He does not know his Marli as he was found by a small band of Hlessil out in a forest, at the time he was practically new-born, the Hlessil took him in for almost a year before they were attempted brought in by an Efrafa patrol, they resisted, so they were killed, he escaped in the confusion, the scent of their blood overwhelming the faint scent of his tracks, he still suffers from guilt and nightmares about this, particularly as they were the only family he knew, having lost them at the age of 13 months.
About a month later he stumbled upon another warren, he stayed with them for a few weeks, then just up and left after commenting it "just did not feel right.".
After that he continued traveling for a while, making short stops at the few friendly warrens he could find on his way, learning quite a bit from the warrens he ran into mostly techniques and tricks.
He has been a Hlessi for almost half a year, a friendly one at that and has had much experience with traveling since he is hlessi

Strengths: Is quite calm for as long as the weather does not get bad during a night, quickly recovers from it, is a talented lookout, able to spot many things other rabbits would be unable to or would brush of as irrelevant and is nearly impossible to sneak up on if he is like this, also rests in this state instinctively.
He is quite knowledgeable of various dangers that Owsla likely could run into, such as snares or roads, he is also an eager listener and student if the opportunity presents itself, is a good runner and can run longer than most rabbits, has unusually strong hind legs, runs quicker too if he needs to, his kicks can hurt quite a bit and can send most but the heaviest rabbits tumbling away from him, even launch them into the air for a few moments if he manages to get a good placement for it.
His thick fur makes him slightly more resistant to the cold, perfect for winter time and also makes him seem bigger than he is, the color of his fur and eyes can help intimidation in some cases.

Weaknesses: If it starts raining during a night he gets nervous, allegedly because it rained the same night his family was killed, will repeatedly protest going out into rain during the night, though if the reason is good he will give in, he also can be quite aggressive when angered, enough to lash out at nearby rabbits if they agitate him enough.
Has a slight limp which he blames on having hit his leg on a rock, his fur also makes him easy to spot during the night if he has not dirtied it enough, also due to it's thickness warm summer days can be quite exhausting to him, it also makes swimming for more than maybe a minute or so quite the problem for him as his fur would weigh him down more than others.
He is lighter than he looks as his fur makes him look bigger and heavier than he is in reality, he often is at a disadvantage if fighting in a tunnel due to inexperience.
The coloring of his eyes and fur can end up with hostility towards him before he can even say much, which has been an issue as he has been injured multiple times by overreacting rabbits, these injuries are mostly hidden by his fur.

Abilities: Not counting in his shining fur he is a talented lookout and a fairly good fighter, his skill with either of these seem to increase with the intensity of the moon's light for some inexplicable reason, though this never goes further than what a rabbit is capable of.

Something to note is that his eyes are red because he is partially Albino, yes it is realistic and is basically a lack of certain color pigments in the body, in this case in the iris, the fur I'm not as sure about, I blame a mutation with fur coloration.
suggestions for improvements or tweaks is greatly appreciated.

I got a few.

Name: Indi, Sometimes referred to by her does as Indi-rah
Age: Somewhere between seven months and two years
Gender: Doe
Warren: Leads a group of Hlessi does... and Zornroo
Personality: Brave. She has the ability to measure up a situation and make a decision very quickly when she is with the does and Zornroo, but alone, she tends to panic. Masculine by doe standards, and thus rather undesirable - she enjoys making decisions and giving orders and grew into that role since Zorn was the only buck around in their group. She will fight for her position, and wants the best for her group - she doesn't like the thought of them being hurt, and is soft enough that she'll pick up any injured rabbit.
Strengths: In a group, she makes quick decisions - Strong
Weaknesses: Masculine, rough, and soft-hearted

Appearance: Medium brown doe with dark teal eyes and a lighter underside, shortish ears, which are darker brown, along with a darker brown face, tail, and legs. She has a scar on one foreleg from a fight with Zorn.

----------------------

Name: Hyzen - Meaning "Shining Dew," I believe

Gender: Doe

Age: 9 months

Personality: Skiddish, quiet, and sweet. She's more than a bit impulsive and makes bad decisions if she's pressed to make quick decisions. In frantic situations, she only does well if given exact orders, in which case are usually given from Indi. She is not a leader by any means and prefers to follow, and would like to have a mate and kits one day, and displays a very excellent capability to spring back from terrible circumstances. Rather than dwell, she likes moving on and locking it away - in her words, "If you let it keep effecting you, it wins. And I don't like to lose!" She tends to be very happy-go-lucky, but doesn't like talking about her family at all. She'll find any way she can to avoid talking about that. Also, in an interesting quirk, Hyzen's best equated to a "stress cleaner." If in a stressful environment - a forest, a heather - she'll dig. If, in a new burrow, someone's absent or she gets anxious, she'll clean up the burrow, smoothing out all the edges and if necessary digging it out more.

Strengths: Digging, taking orders

Weaknesses: Skiddish, quick to anxiety

Appearance: A light sandy brown doe with a nearly white underside. She has a darker line down her back, and darker fur laced in her ears, giving them a slightly brindled appearance. She also has a scar on her scruff, but doesn't like to be asked about it. If pried, she claims it was the work of a stoat.

-------------------
Name: Hain

Gender: Doe

Age: something over a year

Personality: Sly, cunning, and snarky. She's not one to deal with pranking or joking, but loves throwing in a nice cut when it's there to take. She is irritable, but extremely loyal. She isn't very social, and prefers to stay at the back of the group, though Zorn usually pushes her forward so he can watch for danger. She is an older half-sibling of Hyzen, from the same mother. She's also extremely territorial - she will dig out her own burrow, and no one's allowed to sleep in there. She'll attack you if you try. Prefers taking orders from Indi, but will occasionally listen if Zorn tells her to do something. Other times, she'll attack him. Depends on the day. She doesn't like travelling, and would prefer to live in a burrow.

Strengths: Strong, clever

Weaknesses: Not social, too territorial

Appearance: Very dark brown doe, lighter chest. She has dark brown eyes and no notable features.

----------
Name: Zorn(roo) - Little Destroyer

Gender: Buck

Age: Around a year

Personality: Controlling, bold, and aggressive. Zorn loves to fight, and hates being called "Zornroo." Feels like he should be in control of the group, and aspires to lead a warren one day. He only left the warren with the others because he felt there was too much competition and in this new warren, if they established it, he would be the only buck. Thus, he set off with the others, and was very miffed when Indi stepped up and took the lead. He wants a doe, but has no real preference, as he's unlikely to truly ever love anyone - Strangely enough, though, he can't stand having others around him in pain or fear, as he has the ability to sense that very, very strongly - he is an empath. He can feel the emotions of others and is very good at reading them. However, that doesn't stop him from wanting absolute control.

Strengths: Strong, ambitious, empathic

Weaknesses: Aggressive, smallish, light-weight

Appearance: Dark reddish-brown buck with darker paws and one ear with the tip bitten off. Has clawmarks on one hind leg, and a lighter underside. Striking yellow eyes.

Since she's a character I plan to use over and over... I'll post her here.
This is just her basic information and will be edited... For where I'm currently involving her, depending on what people think I will probably edit her history. Everything else will probably stay the same.

Bold=Added to fit roleplay.

Name: Wolfsbane [nickname that she hates is Wolfy, but may tolerate it. If you're going to shorten it she prefers Bane. Secretly she likes her original name better but no one knows it]
Gender: Doe
Age: 16 Inlérao [1 year 4 months]
Species: European Rabbit
Home Warren: Not sure on name. Medium militaristic. All power and rights goes to the bucks, does are little more than use for breeding... And trophies in a sense. Did not lead a very exciting life. Does could easily be claimed by more than one buck at one time. They had no refusal rights, but were protected and cared for otherwise. They were sure safer than the bucks. But prisoners.
Rank: Hlessi, seeking warren

Wolfsbane was born in a rather small warren. Her mother was an outskirter, but mother to a great many rabbits. Wolfsbane was the only one in her litter to survive, the others were all stillborn. Due to this, there was a small bitterness between them at first. To start out, Foxglove, as she was known then, was an average doe. Low-ranked simply for being a doe, and she had a delicate and timid personality. Secretly though, she admired the owsla... She liked the idea of fighting, danger, honer, adventure, and responsibility... Foxglove never wanted the easy life. But she had little to no chance of ever getting in the Owsla, much less acquiring her aspiration, captain. That, and at only half a year old, all chances of even a bland life as an outskirter was shattered. Foxglove's greedy mother wanted some of the more sought after flayrah... Which, of course, she would have to steal from the bucks of the warren. But she was nursing a litter, so left her young daughter Foxglove to care for them. However, during that time, a lendri attacked the burrow. She lost her nerve and hid successfully, but her younger siblings were all killed. Her mother was devastated, but she'd been caught. It seemed rather unfair, but does were forbidden any special privileges and that included flayrah. Her mother was cast out of the warren, and Foxglove as well, being accused for covering for her marli. Foxglove's marli stopped running shortly after, but before she did, renamed her daughter Wolfsbane, seeing her as a curse and disgrace, she took the name of a dreaded poisonous plant. Though it was a great discomfort to take such a name, she loved her now dead relative, so respected her wish. Though just a mere juvenile, young Wolfsbane became a hlessi. She became braver, and rougher. She had to depend on herself. From the few hlessi she met, she picked up a few survival tricks. As a result she became a sassy, independent doe who wouldn't easily give up or take crap from anyone. She had the skills necessary to survive, and could even fight a little. Though, secretly, she didn't desire such a lonely life. It was just so high strung. She could never return to her home warren though, and honestly, she never wanted to. Still, the spunky doe did not desire to like on her own any longer. She began to seek out a warren.

To her ears came rumors of Efrafa... Terrible stories about them. From what she heard, she probably wouldn't ever be treated better than she was back home... Still, it did seem rather exciting. And she missed the comfort of living in a group. For her it was frightful. She, despite many warnings from other hlessi, willingly turned herself in to the Efrafa. She quickly learned it was just as bad as others made it out to be. She had much more freedom than this back at home. But, like so many others, once you're in the warren there's no way out. Still, she made the best of it. Besides... Does and bucks were treated equally, and that was enough for her for the time being. Wolfsbane never was one to be rebellious. Though she never tried to escape, seeing as she had no where to go to and no desire to become a hlessi again, Wolfy still had that spunky spirit she only developed because she was forced to live on her own. She would not be passed as delicate and weak. She would stand up for herself when she was being treated unfairly and give anyone who teased her a good cuff on the ear. This did cause quite a bit of trouble, the source of her scars, but she was an obedient doe. She was loyal and not much of a troublemaker, but would not be bullied into submission. Somehow the doe was able to survive her rather loyal but spunky existence in Efrafa. Though she was still denied her dream as an owlsa officer; though seeing how they acted she was eager not to be one; she thrived in the short time that she was living there under Woundwort. Until the rabbits of Watership Down came along, crumbling her world and forcing her to start something new. Which she would happily accept if they would have her... Like a new adventure. She would rather die than become a hlessi again.

Wolfsbane is not a particularly pretty rabbit. She's very dark and bland. She's not very dainty or elegant either. In fact she can be rather clumsy, very unlike a doe, or how some bucks may expect out of one. She's not particularly fast or intelligent. In those areas she's rather average. But, her one strong point is she has the capability to be strong. Not as strong when compared to a strong buck, but can match up to the average. She's a bit more stocky in appearance, but it gives her a more compact, rounded look than other does. Wolfsbane's strength would not be where it is if it wasn't used. As a hlessi though, she's in top shape more or less.
Wolfsbane has cuts in her left ear, these were caused in an encounter with elil, which she narrowly escaped. She pays little attention to her scars, she's never attended well to her appearance anyhow.
She also has a slash on her right hind leg, punishment for behavior. She latter of which is still currently healing. It was bad enough to scar and she has a limp at the moment. She was also in the Neck Mark, therefore has a scar in that location.
Wolfsbane also has good stamina, and good resilience. It's also noticed that she's possibly the worst groomed doe anyone will ever see. She doesn't care much for appearances.

Wolfsbane is not your typical doe. While she can look rather refined and calm while occasionally idle, one who gets to know her will learn that she's not immediately the most desirable of does. She has a spirit of adventure. She will rush into situations just for the adreniline rush. Though she's not fast, she has good stamina, and will run for hours on end. She hates to sit still. Wolfy likes danger, thrill, and important things. She will try her hardest to get the job done and will not stop until she does. She likes to please everyone. She will not be seen as an object, some buck's trophy. She wants to do something with her life. She wants responsibility and wants something to honor, respect, and show loyalty to. This is why she desires to be in the owsla someday.
Wolfsbane is certainly a spunky doe. She's immediately wary of strangers and will jump to conclusions immediately. She will take a degree of management. Anyone who teases her about being a rather strange doe with get a cuff behind the ear. Though she does not resort to violence without reason, and will not usually take it too far without orders, she is not afraid to show other rabbits she's capable of taking care of herself. She can be reckless though, tends to think for herself quite a lot, with little regard for her own safety. She's not stupid, but doesn't usually think before acting. She's a very independent rabbit and takes pride in letting everyone know. Still, having accepted the requirements for her aspiration, Wolfy will follow any orders given to her by the right rabbits (most of the time) She does tend to be a bit snappy and irritable, but overall is very friendly to rabbits within the warren, provided that they don't tease her.
Wolfsbane, in a nutshell, is adventurous, reckless, spunky, and a rough doe. But she's loyal and noble at heart. Her only good points are her strength and her stamina, though the first quality only narrowly competes with most of the company she wishes to keep.
She will rarely back down and can take a number of hits. However, she still tends to take things much too far despite this.

Hope she's a well balanced character... I personally think I gave her more flaws than strengths, tried to tone down her strengths, sorry if she's cliche; that's a problem I have with characters and stories ^^'
Also worried that her history is a little weird.
Oh well, this is a draft I thought I would share.
Keep in mind! This is a character that was intended for a bit more book-inspired setting. So a bit rougher than I seem to think you guys were expecting.
[for example, I like using lapine words that you don't see in either animation adoptions... And I tend to create characters that are a bit too serious for either]
But I can alter her for your liking...

Who wants to know? Yes, Bralvao and Naruthyl no longer exist.
I converted our bitter Naru into this. xD

Name: Shula

Gender: Female

Age: 1 1/2 years old

Warren: She's a wild rabbit.

Personality: Shula is jumpy like all rabbits. She is a timid rabbit and shy but she also has compassion and a pure heart.

Strengths: Shula is a good digger, fighter and swimmer. She takes to water like a fish. She is loyal to a fault, even if the rabbit is good or bad.

Weaknesses: She is naturally afraid of elil and man.

Bio: Shula was born in a small warren consisting of twenty members total. But she was exiled when she turned ten months old for stealing food for her dying mother. Ever since then she wandered the countryside and trying to survive on her own.

Appearance: Shula has azure blue eyes, chocolate brown fur, a cream undercoat and black tipped ears. She has a scar over her right eye from a fight she got in and three scars across her nose.

Name: Sunflower

Gender: Male

Age: 3 years old

Rank: Former Officer of Efrafa (Shoulder Mark)

Warren: None since Efrafa was destroyed

Personality: Sunflower is disciplined but can be cold towards weaker rabbits who he doesn't have patience with. He sees compassion as a weakness and is known to have a short temper when he is irritated.

Strengths: He is a good fighter and tracker and moves gracefully despite his medium size build. He is also disciplined and loyal to Efrafa.

Weaknesses: He has a short temper when he is irritated and he naturally fears man like any sensible rabbit. Despite being an officer in the Owsla he is afraid of water which other rabbits seem to think of as funny.

Bio: Sunflower was born the strongest of his litter in the shoulder mark. He was hand chosen by Captain Chervil and taken under the rabbit's wing. When he turned one he demonstrated his skills to General Woundwort and was allowed to join the Owsla. Unlike many rabbits there he was happy with the marks being in place because the rabbits were protected and he had heard stories from his parents about what the warren was like before the General's arrival. He fought in the Battle of Efrafa and after the 'demise' of his leader, he did not join the slaves and other rabbits who were 'liberated' from the warren. Rather he decided to strike out on his own.

Appearance: He has black fur with silver underfur. His eyes are brown and he has lots of scars on his body. He has a medium build but he keeps his body lean by running and fighting.

Name: Nettle

Gender: Buck

Age: 2

Warren: Formerly Efrafa/wanderer at the moment

Personality: Nettle is a broken rabbit like many slaves in Efrafa. He's also naturally jumpy. He does have a good heart though. Nettle feels safe in darkness and shadows.

Strengths: Nettle is quite calm in the face of danger despite his personality. He is good at following orders and is a fast runner as well as a good swimmer.

Weaknesses: He isn't a very good fighter and is scared of strange rabbits. He hates man because they destroy everything they touch and naturally has an aversion to ellil being a prey animal.

Bio: Nettle was born in the neck mark. His parents tried to escape with the family but they were caught and killed and his siblings were split up into different marks. Nettle was allowed to stay in his mark because he was averse to escaping. One of his siblings was killed along with his parents and the other two died in the fighting. After the fall of his warren, he went to Captain Sunflower and stuck by him for a sense of normalcy.

Appearance: Nettle has light brown fur with black paws. He has obsidian eyes and the inside of his ears are light rose in color. He has a scar on his neck signifying his place in Efrafa.
