(ok made two character sheets so here goes)

Vixen, a young female fox, lay quietly in the grass, down wind from the group of rabbits. She'd been stalking two of them for some time, but being not particularly hungry, had just bided her time, enjoying the game of "cat and mouse" or she prefered to think of it as "Fox and rabbit". She did not understand Lapine, but judging by the way the rabbits were acting she surmised that they were not on friendly terms with each other. One seemed to be glaring at another.

'Stupid bunnies' she thought to herself. 'maybe one will kill the other and I can snatch a free meal.' She'd recently feated on Pheasant so was in no particular hurry to hunt at the moment. She opted to stay down wind and away from their senses, and just look for an opportunity to come her way.

(I'm going to add a twist to this story :D)

As Frost was weaching the others, he failed to realize someone was watching him. It was an owl, black as night, watching him from afar.

"So he fiinally decides to go with other rabbits," she murmured to herself. "I was hoping to catch him alone, but..." The owl blinked and turned her head. There was a fox laying in the grass downwind of them. Before she met Frost, she understood little Lapin, but he taught her and she taught him how to speak owl. She falpped her wings, but didn't go anywhere. She wasn't sure if the fox wasn't going to attack or not.

((Ah! You both are so brilliant :D Having elil characters opens up a poopload of levels we weren't at before. ^_^ Awesome.))

Cayenne nodded, with a fragility still balanced in her eyes, and very slowly turned from the stranger back to her new friends--at least, considering the state of loneliness she had been stumbling in just the day before, she was very much glad to consider these other rabbits her friends.
She turned now, back to where familiarity lie- back to Dash and Rowan, namely, and breathed deeply, taking a moment to calm down. "Let's just get back." She looked over to Rowan with hope in her eyes. "We'd best make sure that Runt and that other doe haven't killed each other yet, hm?" She smiled, trying to make light of the very tense situation, turning back to the trees, she was searching for the path which they had come down, her brow furrowing. "Though, I must admit... I've no idea which way the burrow is..."

Fireweed felt a pressing force somewhere off in the distance-- some parts of it less friendly than others. She turned her gaze to the shaded world that lay behind her, feeling as though something were watching her. Making nothing out, she simply blew a breath and turned away, throwing one last discontent glance at that horror of a rabbit that had just stumbled into the group. The issues to deal with had certainly multiplied overnight, and Fireweed felt as though she were just about to burst in frustration.

Dash’s eyes widened in surprise. Had he heard this new buck correctly? How could any rabbit not know what warren is? Unless… Maybe those strangers had been born as hlessil instead of becoming hlessil? That would be extraordinary! If that was the case, then they surely had many stories to tell about their adventures and life outside of safe burrow!

He opened his mouth. He was going to explain to new rabbits what warren is and then burry them under the heap of questions. However, before he said even a word he heard Cayenne speaking of going back to burrow. Dash felt embarrassed by the fact that he had almost let his excitement and curiosity get the better of him, when it wasn’t the time for talking and stories. It was the time to return to their hiding place before anybody else gets caught by elil.

He looked around, trying to get his bearings. “I think our burrow is that way,” he said quietly to Cayenne, pointing in direction of their home. Home… He could as well call it that, since they were probably going to stay there.

Rowan smiled lightly at Cayenne’s little joke. Despite Arven’s death she hadn’t lost her spirit, which was a good thing. They couldn’t afford to lose hope.

Rowan turned to Dash. “If you know where our burrow is then lead the way,” he said to other buck. “I will guard our rear and make sure nobody gets lost along the way. I will need someone to help me with that.” He looked at other rabbits, thinking who would do well at that job. The new doe seemed to be someone who can take care of herself, but she hadn’t said that she and her companion were going to join them. Not yet anyway. He had to choose someone from the main group then…

“What about you, Fireweed? Do you feel up to it?” he asked chestnut female. In spite of her yesterday’s injuries she had been doing rather well so far. She was clearly a tough rabbit – the kind of rabbit Rowan would want to have by his side in rear guard.

Gooseberry narrowed her eyes at Naru and resisted the urge to cast the little buck beside her a sympathetic glance, chances are she would get her throat ripped out. She quickly added this rabbit to the list to be avoided but for some reason she had a feeling that it would be difficult to do so in the future. Sighing, she trudged forward at the mention of moving on, and despite the other newcomers she felt like an outcast but she had to believe the time would come to prove herself.

At the first moment of movement, an agony and flash of white pain crossed her eyes. Gasping, Gooseberry stared in awe and fear at the gash on her back hind and, favouring it, crawled forward. In a state of flightiness she had rammed into an old post of man's that had dangerous and intimidation nails protruding out of it. Nothing could have been more embarrassing. But after all, so much had happened in a matter of one day and she couldn't be blamed for have been a little nervous.

Hey to Shaydee! Wow, I'm so lost in this fic :L sorry if i missed up anyone's plans, don't ask how because i don't know!

[[@Embem, No, you're totally. ;) Don't be afraid to interact with anyone. Bonds are already beginning to form, as it seems. There's definitely a place for Gooseberry.]]

The noise from the rear of the group startled Cayenne, and for a moment, she could not make out what was happening. One of the new does stumbled into a post, making a fool of herself, and for a moment she considered turning and continuing as though she hadn't noticed. However, seeing the nervousness present on Gooseberry's face, she could not help but recall the trembling mess of a doe she had been just yesterday before Rowan had stepped into her life. Turning, she whispered for Dash to continue making his way towards the warren, a warm look on her face.

Slowly, Cayenne crouched by the new doe in concern, nuzzling her with a gentle sort of sympathy. "You alright?" she asked, sitting up, she looked at the cut that the nail had given her. "It's not very deep. I couldn't say much, I'm not a healer, but it doesn't look very bad." She did her best to look as though she knew what she were talking about. Her eyes flicked upward just in time to hear Rowan's offer to Fireweed, and Gooseberry's injury flickered out of her thoughts for a moment as a flushed sort of discomfort arose once more. Quietly, she thought back to the night before, when Rowan had carried Fireweed on his back and cared for her as though she were his own doe. A flush of anxiety, and perhaps even jealousy, swam around in her eyes as she watched Rowan retreat towards the rear. Once more, Cayenne looked to Gooseberry, adopting a forced look of calm collectiveness. She had bigger things to care about at the moment.

Fireweed's face lit up at Rowan's offer, and she allowed her girlish timidity to creep back into her body language. "Well, if you want me by your side, I think I can handle it." She smiled as though she were trying to conceal her joy--and, in the corner of her eye, she caught an upset looking Cayenne throwing glances at the buck which Fireweed already knew to be hers. Embleer doe, she thought acerbically, a pump of venom pumping through her as she turned. You'd best get back to helping that other worthless piece of hraka that can't even seem to walk... You'll both end up in the same place by the time I'm done here. The smile she produced upon the occurrence of this thought passed for almost entirely sweet as she wheeled around to walk beside Rowan.

Gooseberry smiled at Cayenne, overcome by such kindness shown to a stranger. "I think I'm alright, just being an idiot." She saw something in the gentle doe's eyes when the rabbit called Rowan and the chestnut doe went to keep the back.
A growl rose up her throat and she felt too annoyed to be shocked at herself. If there was one thing she couldn't stand it was bullies and at that moment Gooseberry made a pact with herself to never let this rabbit bully her. Obviously this buck was somewhat caught in the middle in a silent war and Gooseberry knew whose side she was on. Not bothering to check if the chestnut had heard her, she hopped confidently forward.

It's my new home as much as yours

Hey Speedwell, I just thought I'd create a little rivalry between Gooseberry and Fireweed, that doe is too fantastically mean to not have someone stick up to her in the future :P

Vixen watched the goings on as the band of rabbits began to move slowly along. They sure weren't in a hurry were they? The rabbits seemed completely unaware of her presence. She noted that one of the rabbits was limpig and the tempting smell of blood reached her nostrils making her feel suddenly hungry. Her mind was ticking over... she could pounce now and probably get the injured one with ease... That would give her a quick meal. Or she could follow them to their warren and have a larder of meals at her claw tips. She noticed an owl watching her. She quickly dismissed it. Owls weren't dangerous to foxes. Vixen silently crept forward, mulling all this over and trying not to make a sound...

-------------
(Enter Bramble, see profile for details)

Bamble had been forced to make a mad dash away from the Man that had opened the cage, not knowing if there would be dogs to chase him or if the man had a gun and meant to shoot him on the run. Nothing like that had happened, of course, and now he lay under a thick bush trying to get his bearings and catch his breath.

Bramble lifted his nose to the wind. He had no idea where he was and nothing felt familiar. He was actually quite far from his warren but he couldn't tell how far. The breeze wafted slowly over his nostrils. The smell of primroses, acorns, dried grass, and beech tree's. His skill as a tracker would now be put to the ultimate test. He ventured out from the bush and began to scout about. It was not long before he came across some hraka. Rabbit hraka and tracks. He sniffed the air again. Dandelions, dried leaves, a stream and yes, the faint smell of rabbits. Hrair of them by the smell of it but something else as well. He raised his nostrils to the wind.

"A Homba!" he said to himself. He recognized the scent from the many training patrols that Captain Columbine had taken the owsla trainee's on at his former warren. Bramble sniffed the ground following the scent of Homba until, sure enough, he found it's tracks. They were slightly fresher than the tracks of the rabbits so it didn't take much for him to figure out that the homba was tracking the rabbits.

"It has a slight limp in the hind leg" Bramble thought as he noted how one paw print was heavier and deeper than the others. "That will make it an extra dirty fighter, will go after the weaklings, but then again don't they all?" Brambles owsla trainer, Captain Columbine, had been somewhat of an expert on elil behavior so Bramble was fairly well informed. Bramble also found a couple of feathers on the ground.

"An owl and a hawk in the area," he told himself. He'd have to be on the alert from aerial attacks. Captain Columbine had drilled into him 'know thy enemy' and if you didn't want to be tracked down by elil, you should track them yourself instead. Know where they were, where they lived, how they hunted and always be aware of their movement and strategies. Spy on them so to speak. This may have been a very different approach than most Owsla Captains who prefered to avoid elil territory, but it worked for Columbine who had reached a good age with out being attacked by anything so everyone respected his ways. Although Bramble had often grumbled during 'paw camp' training expeditions, he was very glad of the training now that he was out here on his own... lost and alone, so far from the comfort and familiarity of home.

"So the homba is tracking the rabbits and I'm tracking the homba" Bramble thought, twitching his nose excitedly at the prospect of an adventure. "Perhaps if I help this band of rabbits and warn them, they will help me find my warren or at least give me some idea of where I am and which direction I should go."

Thus Bramble scouted forward carefully, keeping a cautious eye on the sky...

(Hey Embem, with role play you can never "ruin plans" as really, even if there is a plan, you have to go in knowing it may get turned around and that is what makes it fun! If someone has a plan and someone else does something to change it, then there is the challenge of thinking of a new idea. I don't think you, or anyone else, has messed up anything just added to the brilliance of it. You're all so brilliant! I loved the entrance of the owl as I am thinking she is the one that Frost healed and thus became a healer of elil. I could be wrong though, can't wait to see the outcome. I love seeing what will happen next. )

((ps. wow sorry for the long post. Really enjoying reading and interacting here...))

ooc: Ok, here I go. xD

Fireweed is an interesting character for sure. I can see her and Naru conflicting in the future. Naru is completely capable of taking care of herself, I know that much.

Sorry for zoming out for a while. I intend to keep posting, so never think I'm gone for good unless I tell you guys! :3

I have a basic idea for why Naru joins the warren, but I'm not sure if you guys would like it, I'm starting not to like it either... xD

I feel bad, my only two characters are so different and not too easy to socialize with xD

bic:

Naruthyl continues her dark glare, cast at the red doe. She shared an almost as hostile gaze towards any rabbit around her, but having had a bad first impression of Fireweed, her distrust towards the scarlet doe was especially intense. She glances at Dash for a moment but decided to ignore him for now. She nudges her brother away from him for a moment, if only to communicate to Dash that her brother is the one and only thing important to her in the world, also communicating without realizing it that she's a very overprotective sister. She keeps her gaze ahead of her now. She had agreed to go with the rabbits to this so-called-warren... But only because they offered and because she and her brother needed a place to rest for the night. She didn't intend to stay, at least not now, and focused on following the rabbits, keeping her brother safe, and not letting her guard down. She caught herself staring at Fireweed several times and rolled her eyes. She glanced back as one of the other rabbits seemed to have injured herself but did little else...

Bralvaonahl was starting to grow more curious. Although he was still nervous and cautious, some of these rabbits seem to spark his interest, particularly Dash. He seemed like a friendly rabbit, and for once Naru's protective behavior irritated him. They very rarely met other rabbits, and when they did, it was in fear. Bralvao, however, was starting to learn that not all rabbits are dangerous and that perhaps this could be in their favor... Maybe he could make some friends here. He can't remember ever having any. Like his sister, Bralvao couldn't help but glance at Fireweed, but for very different reasons... Mainly it was just his running into her, it was an alarming experience. He turns away as he begins walking, all the while in his sister's shadow. For a moment he's doing very little more than watching the various hlessi around him, when the situation between Cayene and Gooseberry reaches his senses. He immediately stops and turns around. Upon observing that one of the does seem to be hurt, he's alarmed and worried. Will she be ok? He's so shocked by it that when his sister tugs on his ear, he doesn't even pay attention.

[[Silverweed, how long do you plan to keep Bramble in the outskirts? Or are you just going with the flow? And I think it might be interesting if the fox goes on watching us. I don't know how despicable she is, but it may be possible for some malicious sort of interaction to take place? c: Just thinking ahead. Anyway, I'll try to pick this one up.]]

Sage's bright, gray eyes stayed train on the entrance to the burrow for a few moments after Runt had left, as though expecting him to return. Somehow, the silence seemed unfitting for such a suddenly cavernous hole in the ground. She inhaled deeply, wondering what had just come upon her--why she had been so eager to figure out what Runt was hiding beneath his condescending disposition. With an irritated groan, she tensed up, now thinking the buck rather rude to have stormed out like that. "Go stick your head in a bee's nest for all I care," she whispered to herself passively, the emptiness beginning to fill her as well. In a fit of disappointment, the little doe slumped onto her side, curling in on herself.

It was there, pressed against the earth, that a downpour of vibrations grabbed her attention. Somebody--well, many bodies, that is--was approaching the burrow. For the most part, it was the familiar plops of a rabbit's legs, but something else was softly undertoning it. Feeling unsettled, she shook her head, reminding herself that she wasn't the only creature in this forest. Best go greet them she thought wearily, climbing to her feet and worming herself back up the run.

Peering up through the little hole in the back of the hollow base of the tree, Sage could, indeed, see that a rabbit was emerging through the bushes, followed by many more. None of them had a trace of happiness in their faces. Curiously, she stayed put, wondering where Runt had gotten to and if he'd yet realized that the party had returned.
